Great dealer and excellent attentive service department
After having a horrible experience at another dealership in Tampa, it was refreshing to come here. I have been keeping my eye on a used Jeep that was sitting out front. I stopped and looked briefly at it. When I cam back salesman John LePree greeted me. I told him that I was interested in driving the Jeep. He took my information and gave me the keys. He never tried to steer me away to purchase anything else. While driving it the check engine light came on and the gas gauge went to empty. Other than that it drove great. I told John I wanted it once it was fixed and we completed the paperwork. Since they aren't a Jeep dealer they had to wait an extra day for the part they needed to come in. I didn't trade anything in, so I wasn't in need of a loaner. However they offered one to me, and I took them up on it. John came in on his day off to ensure that the Jeep was fixed and to complete the delivery.
I had a very nice experience there and would recommend them as well.
Traveled down from New Hampshire and my breaks got bad. They got me in right away and fixed them. Thanks for the friendly service.
Tammy was an excellent Service writer and was a pleasure to interact with.
This is not my car. I used it as a trade-in over a year ago.
I had several issues with my 2012 Chevy 2500. The dash said service emissions, speed limited to 55 mph. service tire sensor, service trailer brake and the check engine light was on. After some diagnostics with service manager Brent he informed me that GM had issued a service extension on several issues my truck was experiencing. Other issues need my extended warranty for coverage. My service advisor spent almost an hour on the phone with the warranty people twice. My truck runs great again. The ride is smoother and I am very pleased and would recommend them to all my friends.
Great place to test drive grade A vehicles. No pressure.
Visit is always good. Dennis Wilby always does a great job.
Those guys were wonderful. They fixed my car almost like new. Thank you
Very professional service by Lennie, as usual. Quickly completed at fair price.
Wonderful experience, very friendly staff especially our salesman, Genaro Ramirez.
EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!!
Big shout out to John Bruno very helpful, knowledgeable and does everything in his hands to help you. After the purchase he kept in touch to make sure we were good with our purchase. Shopping for a new car this is the place and ask for John Bruno!
Our first experience with Dick Norris GMC Buick in Palm Harbor was an internet inquiry about one of the vehicles we were interested in. Their internet site asked us if we wanted to "Make An Offer" for the vehicle we were previewing online. I thought what the heck and made what I thought was a fair offer. I did not expect them to accept it as it has been our experience with other dealerships that they always say no to what you propose. I got a phone call and an email from Joe Cappello letting me know that they had accepted my offer and included details with an out the door cost. Wow, I did not expect that!
Then I thought to myself well that will probably change when I get to the dealership. Nope, I was wrong again. What a pleasant experience. We got a higher amount for our trade than anyone else offered. We got the deal that we wanted and we got the monthly payment that we wanted and on top of that - finance quoted us an acceptable interest rate and then when we got to our appointment to sign the paperwork we found out that he was able to get the interest rate even lower than he quoted us. Wow again! They did not have to do that - we were happy with the first rate quoted.
Needless to say that due to all of the things above (especially fighting for a lower interest rate for us and giving us more for our trade) we will be customers for life! Thanks again to Joe and Frank for treating us with respect and professionalism. We will be back when we are ready for another vehicle!
Sincerely,
The Harringtons
Had a GREAT experience! Staff was friendly! Not pushy or rushy. I actually felt comfortable with the whole buying process.
My experience was absolutely horrible. The people I talked to in the pre-owned department obviously didn't know there rear end from a hole in the ground. They flat out avoided and blew off all of my questions and comments. They couldn't provide a carfax report because the service department was closed. Previous owner clearly smoked like a freight chain and the evidence was still in the ash trey and had burn marks and ashes in between the center console but they denied it and claimed it would be hard to smoke in the car because it was a manual. The door wouldn't even close all the way and it was claimed to be an alignment issue or because the weatherstrip had a split in it from getting in and out of the car. Yeah okay, like a piece of rubber that easily moves and is very flexible going to keep a door from closing even when you slam it. You can clearly hear the door hitting metal on metal. But anyhow, the fact is that the door won't shut properly and excuses ain't going to make it close properly. All they wanted to do is show me the installation manuals of what was done to the car. The right exhaust tip stuck out the back of the car further than the left one but everything that had been done to the car was done "the right way." What a joke. The gas cap even looked like someone tried to pry it open for some reason. I discovered items left from the previous owner in between the seat so the car clearly wasn't cleaned in any kind of detail. Wax was all in the exterior cracks so a quality job was skipped on that too. Not impressed in the least bit. These people clearly just want your money, don't know anything about what there trying to sell, and have a lot of lame excuses. Unprofessional is an understatement.
I was extremely happy with my sales consultant in Wes Westbrook. The manager Dan Small and Dean in finance were all very helpful. Thank you! I had a great experience and would recommend to anyone!
Just bought our new car here. Very good and professional staff.
Been going to Dick Norris dealership for a couple years now. Love GMC trucks! Recently bought a little work van from dodge. Having some engine problems, dealing with Dodge service department in is terrible. This makes me realize how great Dick Norris dealership is. Thank you staff at Dick Norris!!
Very good experience, Tammy in service was excellent
Dropped by to have my oil and filter changed...just normal maintenance. The dealership also checked my alignment and did updates on any recall types of items. I always feel that they take care of the extras without my having to request it. I really appreciate the customer care attention we receive at the Dick Norris dealership. Nice people!
Super great service, I met with Dennis in service on the phone, I had a bad dealing with 2 dealerships in spring hill and Dennis told me bring it down and I'll find the issue and repair the problem. Well I did and Dennis took the truck for two days and fixed the leaking firewall and looked at the shake in the front end. So glad I took his advice. Dick Norris you have a great service tech (Dennis) I hope you know the level this tech as gone for you. Dawayne Capshaw DC law services Inc.
This is the 3rd vehicle we've purchased from Mr. John Bruno. He's a great salesman...but the vehicles do have a small part to play with the final sale. As always, enjoyed the overall experience and the brief time it took to make the purchase. Thank you especially John and the dealership staff overall.
Great - Wonderful Group of People John the saleman was patient and helpful. Steve the trade in guy was wonderful to deal with and was honest and fair. Dean in finance, even though I did not need financing was great! Recommended them to two of my friends already!
Mr Norris was there and was proud to represent his dealership,
Been doing business here for 27 years and I've always been satisfies
We stopped in just to look and before we knew it, we purchased a certified Enclave. Andrew and the rest of the team were amazing to work with and they played a big roll in our decision to buy. Not only were they friendly and helpful but they gave a great price on our current car for trade-in and the car we were purchasing. Great family owned business, look forward to doing business with them in the future.
I m extremely dissatisfied with my car and how the dealership has no power to remedy the situation. My family has bought many Chevy vehicles, but the Cruze has turned out to be a nightmare.
GM knows exactly what they are producing in the Cruze and has done nothing to listen to its customers.
good work but what a rip off of older people - way over priced
Dennis order a part for 2012enclave came in with in a week . Came in on 9 11 20 had part put in took about 1hr. Everything was great. Thank you Dennis for all your help. Russell furno.
I made an appointment online for service on my 2010 Chevy Camaro. I had email confirmation of the appointment. When I arrived they had nothing at all stating that I had an appointment. I took the day off from work to get the service. I forwarded the email to the guy I was dealing with. He was acting like I was a liar. I needed tires and they told me they did not have tires for my car, even though the website let me pick out my exact tire and schedule the appointment. Do not go here for service. These people don't have a clue what is going on with their own system. I went down the street to the Chevy dealership and they took care of me perfectly, even without an appointment.
My service light flashed and I knew it was time for an oil change in my 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid. So, I called Max at Dick Norris Palm Harbor. I have been dealing with Max for years and I generally like Dick Norris. The prices tend to be fair and the work is usually good even if your car is not one of the brands they sell.
On a side note John Bruno is an excellent guy and sales rep, the kind you enjoy doing business with.
This wasn't my best day there, my expectations of them was too high.
Max said come right in and they would take care of me.
I pulled in and one of the helpers came to my car, sat in it and looked puzzled. He didn't know how to start a push button Toyota Camry Hybrid.
I went out and helped him. He got his info and left. Then another guy came and also had no idea how to start or drive this car, so I went back out and helped him so he could pull it forward. I started getting a little concerned that 2 guys had no clue how to start a push button car and that a hybrid makes little to no noise.
Now a 3rd guy came out and was going to bring it to the mechanic and again he had no clue about a push button start nor a Camry hybrid. I also helped him and was now concerned.
I expressed this to Max and he said "don't worry they should know how to start and run it."
They finished it and a 4th helper was driving it back around to me and was also confused. I offered to help him, but he said he was learning.
I bega to lose it and suggested "he learn on his own car or a company car!"
I paid and started to leave wondering if perhaps I was expevting too much for Buick GMC dealer to know how to start, drive and do an oil change on a Toyota.
The service light flashed, damn, they didn't reset the thingamabob.
I pulled around and told Max. He got some guy to come out and while Max sat in my car this guy was reaching in through the drivers side window pussing my odometer button and telling Max what to do. After a few minutes they stopped and went inside.
OCD was setting in and I wasn't happy at the learning to drive my car and now this unprofessional attempt to reset the computer.
I went inside and asked if they knew how to reset it, as they had the last time and this obtuse tech pushed by me saying he just figured it out online. I asked him to stop, he kept going to my car and I said in a very stern voice to leave my car alone, dont touch it!
He paused, Max asked me to please don't do this...what?
I asked if they knew how to reset it or were they learning on my car?
The tech said he knew how and then just got in my car and did it.
He came back in and I tried to thank him and explain how OCD makes a person nervous, but he just interrupted me and said my car was ready. I tried again, but he just stood there holding the door open and repeated my car was ready.
He was dismissing me!
I was awestruck and inflamed that a business person felt they could "dismiss" a paying customer while they learned to repair a car.
I am aware I ask a lot by bringing a toyota to a buick GMC dealer for an oil change, I thought I could give them the business and get a good job done at the same time.
I set the bar in my mind too high for them!
I don't like being dismissed or feeling unappreciated when I am giving my money to a business.
This was not one of my better experiences there.
I had a couple of warranty issues on my truck, Nathan took care of everything for me, as he does everytime I'm in for service, he is one of the better service advisors around that I have ever dealt with anywhere. The entire service department is very customer friendly and helpful, everyone seems to show a since of urgency, they don't screw around at this dealership,
DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!!!! I drove 5 hours to come see a car they had. The sales associate was super nice and great customer service. However when the manager stepped in things went south. He did not introduce himself or have any customer service skills. I was upset and needing a break to calm down because it was looking like I was not going to agree on the price. However the manager treated me like I was a little kid not a adult and told me the deal was over. When I asked to see the final price to confirm with my dad he told me I would no longer need to see it that I needed to leave. I am a woman who knows what she wants and was treated like a stupid woman. I called the next day to tell the owner how I felt about how I was treated and the owner denied the entire thing happened. He was extremely rude saying he had been doing this 30 years and I didn't know what I was talking about. I was simply calling to try and let him know how a manager made me feel as a woman. Instead I got treated horrible. I will not spend my money at a place that does not appreciate their customers.
They service my truck and do a great job, service writers and staff are great too
One of their pick up drivers just nearly took my side mirror off on Spring Hill Dr. He was speeding and even cut through the center turn lane at high speed to avoid traffic. Are these the kinds of drivers they employ to shuttle their customers?

I purchased my 2014 GMC Sierra 1500 from Dick Norris. Dan King was my salesman, and did a great job. Financing went smooth and follow up service went well. I just returned for the first maintenance service and Chris Berry addressed all of my issues.
During my purchase and service Doug and Dick Norris took the time to thank me for my business; This type of interaction is important to me, therefore I would refer the entire team to anyone.
I researched US News ranking and reviews for cars-trucks. I reviewed Buick 2013 LaCrosse, Hydandi Gensis and Lincoln MKZ. I drove test Buick 2013 LaCrosse and love it. It comes good fuel economy with eAssist and very smooth ride.
I bought Buick 2013 LaCrosse and I enjoy riding my new car since Thursday night.
Thank you Joe Cappello for everything you did for me.

Excellent experiences with the service department and service advisors, Dennis and Kyle. Appreciate the wonderful customer service!
We took my aunt's car there today for an oil change. Their staff was exceptional, the service was friendly and thorough, and they did the job quickly. Lenny waited on us and he promptly called us when the car was ready. I have visited this shop in the past and both experiences were superb. I would highly recommend their service department.
I didn't have an appointment, but that is never a problem. I think that is the greatest thing. The customer (me) is never a problem. It always seems they are there just waiting for me. Of course I can see by the waiting room there is always plenty of "me's" but no matter how busy they are I feel always welcome.
The vehicle was what they advertised and at a fair price. The staff was efficient and friendly. I would buy from them agian ! And then i realized my stick shifter is loose and the clutch is slipping/grabbing at the end and all i get is everyones voucemail
Had a bad coolant leak and noticed where it was coming from Thursday made an appointment Friday morning took the car in the same day and they found the problem and fixed it within the same day professional and courtesy I would use them again they also offer free rides to and from the dealership
Great service department. From the young lady who promptly greeted me on the drive who was very friendly and nice, up to the gentleman, Brent who wrote my car up. Very clear communication about what was done to my car and possibilities on what could be wrong with my car. The technician who worked on the car was also very careful in handling my car. Had me in and out in a timely manner. Thank you!
Sincerely, Justin Underhill
Great company to do buisness with made it quick and easy very happy with our new buy
Leon Fisher and Donna were Great made my Husband Dream come true!!! Fast ,organized and extremely Honest people ...Thank you guys for everything
Sales team wasnt bad felt a little high pressure at times but overall not a terrible experience. Domt be scared to push back at the first offer they give you. Start walking out the store and see how quick they take off an extra 1000 dollars. Maybe this trick works at every dealership but especially here.
Great experience buying a used car! I was glad to have Frank Bienz help me! Everything was quick and easy! Yay!
They do not make card like Buick use to. They are made in South Korea, and other countries. The ones in South Korea are very cheaply made. The salesmen kept telling me it is a great car and worth the money. Sorry no. Just got rid of the Hyundai and had so many problems. That car is made in South Korea too. South Korea do not know how to make a good solid car. Honda is a much better car.
I always feared going to the dealer thinking I would pay high cost for repair. My 2016 was having issues and dropped it off and with in a few hours they advised me of the issues and couldn t believe how honest and affordable it was. They even looked into having some issues covered under warranty and they got it covered. Who knows I might consider buying a car from there soon !! Awesome service!!!
We brought my father-in-law in to look at a 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan. We had just started looking but after how well we were treated we decided to buy on the spot. John Bruno was very professional and courteous. We felt absolutely no pressure to buy and were treated with respect from everyone there. Geoff Sullivan was the same. He took his time explaining every aspect of the purchase. My wife and I had A HORRIBLE buying experience at another dealership recently. After our experience with John and Geoff, we will be back to buy our next car and recommend Dick Norris to all our friends.
This was a surprise for my inlaws and Jim and Mike made the whole transaction very pleasurable and even delivered the Encore to my house to do the paperwork. A++++++++
Max did a great job...the whole visir took
less than one hour.
I brought my car in to have an oil change and a 50K checkup. Max Johnson, my Service Advisor, noted I was 4 quarts of oil low. My oil light had not come on! He had the oil change done and told me to come back in about a month to check the oil again. This time he had an oil consumption test done. It confirmed an issue already identified by GM. The Pistons had to be replaced and the sealings had to be redone. Upon ordering parts needed, Max called me and told me to bring the car in. I brought it in first thing in the morning with an estimate of a 2 day wait on completion. I was given a courtesy car and went about my business. That afternoon, Max called me and told me the work was completed! I'm thankful Max pursued the issue, had it diagnosed and repaired. Once again, Dick Norris and their staff had strengthened my confidence in their Service Dept. Furthermore, I will definitely be purchasing all my future GMC cars from Dick Norris. Thank you all!
I was a smooth transaction, very friendly personable people,. Isaac was great! As was Dominic, and Tony. Very satisfied with my purchase.
How long does it take for a diagnostic? I've been here since 9:30,its now 11:54!
Family has been purchasing/leasing cars since 1987 from the Norris family. Best experience in sales and service year after year! Therefore, we can t imagine going anywhere else!
Always get prompt, professional and courteous service
I bought my car here and I will buy my next car here. They gave me an incredible deal on my Buick enclave. You guys are great. Service here is amazing.
I would say the price is well worth the service, but they are actually pretty affordable too as far as routine maintenance.
I had a great experience leasing my car from here. It was fast and friendly. The service after the sale has been phenomenal too. I highly recommend these guys.
Dennis is great for customer service, he deserves 5 stars, but as for the charges we feel that the dealership earns the reputation of over charging. We were billed for 5.7 hours but the car was only there a little more than 3 hours. The answer to whether or not we were being charged a set amount no matter how long they work on the car was yes. We don't like that. For regular maintenance and oil changes we're ok with coming back but next time something needs repaired we'll try our best to avoid coming to the dealership.
Great service ! Prices are a little high but the customer service makes it worth it . I see the same service representative all the time . Max is his name and he's awesome. I purchased my car there as well as get it serviced there in my opinion the few extra dollars are worth the service . Please go to their website because they do have coupons available for service and parts
Great service .... Honest people ... We have been a customer for over 20 years !
This was my second experience with Joe Cappello and Dick Norris GMC, the first was with my husband a couple months ago to purchase a pre-owned truck, the second time was when I was looking for a new vehicle. I had never really considered a GMC before but we had such a good experience the first time we were there that I really wanted to keep my business with them. I never felt pressured or over-sold at any time, in fact it was just the opposite. I told Joe what I wanted but thought I couldn't afford and he surprisingly was able to put me in a brand new car with most of my must-haves and still in my price range, and now I've got the nicest ride in town! Both times we have been there Dick Norris and his son Doug have both stopped in to chat with us and thank us for our business also. I don't think I can go any where else now!
Professional, courteous and prompt service. The staff at Dick Norris, Russ, Bill, Roger and Drew ALL did exactly what they said they would do to make my purchase satisfactory, expeditiously without any stress or issues. Fantastic Service!!
Horrible customer service wouldn t take my gmc here if it was the last dealership
I dream about the vehicles as I drive by right to there self service car wash. It does a good wash.
Dennis amd Brent went above and beyond
In replacing my transmission!!! Dennis was so helpful that i definitely would recommend your dealership to my friends
In Florida. You definitely have wonderful employees.
All of the employees are always professional and great. Tammy in service helped me with getting my tire fixed and filed the claim, great service.
It was organized and fairly fast with friendly service.
Been dealing with Max Johnson for years in service!! Wonderful asset to the Norris dealership!
Always professional , if you want
Graphics applied to your car, ask for
Craig, in detailing, outstanding, craftsmanship, won't go to anyone else!
Everyone is very nice and courtesy. My only issue is I am sent discounts promotions ( i.e. $10 off next service), but they are never applied. Other dealers do not do this, if you are not going to honor them don't market them. It creates ill will.
Max always takes care of us but everyone is always very helpful too.
You had the vehicle that I wanted and made sure I was well taken care of during sales process.
Melvin and Tony made my experience at DNBG Palm Harbor an absolute breeze. I am so grateful to have worked with them and their sales manager on buying my 2014 Ram 1500. Lifetime Powertrain Warranty included on most used vehicles and they offer an extremely fair priced "wrap" plan that covers everything else! Melvin answered all my questions and Tony in Finance came out to explain the remainder of the process in great detail. Both were very honest and gave me realistic expectations. I will look here first for my next vehicle! Thanks Everyone!
As always I was treated like a princess!! Dropped off my Enclave for its regular service check and oil change, and Chris, my service adviser for the visit, had a brand new loaner for me to use while they worked on my car. I've never heard of any other dealership offer the service we receive at Dick Norris Buick-GMC. I've been spoiled, I must say! Wonderful people and always do a great job on my vehicles. Thank you!!
