In my search for a new vehicle, I worked with many salesmen and women at different dealerships. My experience at Dick Masheter and the service Jim provided far exceeded any of my other experiences. Went in to speak with someone about service on my truck. As I was standing back by the service desk I could hear a conversation between a customer and a service manager. All of the sudden the service manager became very hostile and actually yelled at the customer! The customer told the manager to not raise his voice at him and the manager continued to raise his voice and speak to the customer in a VERY unprofessional manner. I will definitely be going across town to another ford dealership. I couldn't believe that a service manager would raise his voice to a customer!

Can't believe the way their sales team behaved during my visit. I had one guy sit me in a tiny office (someone else's office) and then went god knows where.

After waiting in this office for some time, the occupant of that office came in, and seemed completely disinterested in helping me whatsoever. I walked out to the sales floor, and the original sales man was just hanging out chatting up with coworkers. I asked him about test driving a specific vehicle. I was told to wait in the tiny office again.

Now the office occupant comes back and I ask again about the test drive. He tells me the car is probably sold and that I would not be able to. Back out on the sales floor, the original sales person is chatting it up some more with the coworkers. As I'm about to walk out the door, he asked what's up. I bring up what the other guy says about the car being sold. He asked me to wait up a few, and he'd check it out.

So I'm now in another tiny office, and he walks in with a credit app and wants to talk financing and how much the car is going to be. I hadn't even sat in the thing yet!

Terrible treatment at a terrible dealership. Don't waste your time here - you will get as good a deal at any of the other Ford dealers anyway. My bet is, the other dealers won't treat you like trash in the process.

Went in to have break pads replaced. Had coupon for $99 or less. Was told only with Ford credit card. Didn't say on coupon. Only replaced pads was charged over $400. Have 3 Ford cars will go to another dealership.

We tell all of our relatives as well as our friends to bring their vehicles to Dick Masheter when they need service and that they will not regret it. I had the worst customer service experience of my life at Dick Masheter Ford. I stopped in to get the paperwork for my lease buy-out. I had to speak with three different people, who did not communicate with each other. Each person passed me off to someone else until I eventually got back to the first person I spoke to when I entered the building. I was there for an hour and in that time I was told that I could leave without my paper work and later, my wife and I were yelled at by one of the sales people. Dick Masheter Ford is unprofessional, unorganized and unacceptable.

I wasn't happy with the cost, I called to see how much to get my headlights replaced ( which I purchased the bulb and brought it with me) I was told to me $60.00. when I bought the car I was thinking told the price it was done and my bill was $183.00.
$135.00 for the labor and $29.00 for a part?
What part. I was ripped off and I am going to repirt thus to higher ups in the company.

Terrible experience with the service department. I took my truck in for an oil change and alignment. The reason for alignment was I replaced tie rods and wanted it aligned. 5 mechanics were walking around the shop not working while my truck sat there waiting to be worked on. When they pulled it in the driver kept revving my truck in the shop and 2 other guys came over to check it out. Upon opening the hood 2 guys were under the hood looking at my aftermarket parts while 2 other guys stood next to them talking about it. After the oil change was done they told me they couldnt do my alignment because all my tie rods were bad and i would have to replace them all. Funny because that was the reason for an alignment, new tie rods. When approaching my truck I noticed geasey hand prints on my hood and grille, oil spilled on my coolant reservoir, positive battery cable covers not put back on.

It took a 2 month s to get my car repaired and it still has the lights from the original complaint and getting an update on my vehicle was like pulling teeth. When I would call to get an update my advisor who I will not name never knew what was going on or never available. I still have issues with my car but don t want to return due to my bad experience with this place.

2017 ford transit with only 11000k. worst dealer u can buy from. they do a great job at selling you a vehicle. but when the time of you having an issue with the vehicle comes. they look for any reason to not cover you under guarantee. I'm the second person in our family to have issues with this dealership.

I had to call the service department three times to find out when my car would be ready. When we showed up to pick it up, 3 hours after they said it was ready, it was not. We had to come back again later that evening to pick it up. Poor communication and follow up.

I leased a 2017 Ford Explorer from Dick Masheter on 11/11/2016 for a term of 3 years on or about 5/10/2019 this business was notified I was ready to term my lease early as I was interested in purchasing another make and model vehicle. I advised at that time, I would make all remaining payments as required. On 05/24/2019 the vehicle was "Grounded" (turned in) at the Dick Masheter dealership. I met with Ryan Grimm a sales Manager filled out a one page form and was advised They would take care of the rest. When I inquired about the final payments due Ryan stated because the vehicle still needed to be inspected, I wouldn't need to make the final payments to him but would receive a final bill from Ford Motor Corp. On 06/17/2019 I called Ford Motor Co. as I had not yet received a final bill. Ford Motor Corp's customer service associate advised me that the vehicle's lease was termed however, I would need to wait for the vehicle to go to auction because the information they received in regards to the term lease was " Voluntary Early Termination" and not any information that I would be paying off the remaining payments. I called Ryan on 06/17/2019 to advise him of what I was told by Ford Motor, he sent me a copy of the paperwork that was sent over to Ford Motor and advised it must have been an error on their side.

On 06/18/2019 I Called Ford Motor again to make the final payments on the vehicle and to advise on the email that was sent to their office by Ryan Grimm. The Ford Motor associate stated that because I was advised not to make the final payments at the time the vehicle was returned, the term reason reflects a "Voluntary Early Term" and not" Early Term, customer will payoff remaining balance". Apparently the difference in wording has a significant affect on how it's reported on a credit report.

Due to the inaccuracy of the above information my credit report now reflects, the Ford Motor Corp account still open with a balanced owed. This reflection has caused my Debit to Income ratio to almost double since I purchased another vehicle on 05/17/2019. Had I been able to pay the Ford vehicle off on 05/24/2019 which I could have done if not advised otherwise, my Debit to Income ratio would be reflecting correctly and my credit score would not have dropped from 715 on 5/17/2019 to 687 by 06/10/2019. Prior to this Ford purchase, I previously leased two other Fords none of which reflected this way on my credit report once turned in. Those vehicles too were turned in prior to the end of the lease term. I believe the above process was not relayed to me correctly by design. It is a punitive tactic used by the dealership as consequence for not purchasing another Ford vehicle. It would appear that because there was no profit to be made on your end, the required due-diligence to provide the most accurate information at the time the vehicle was Grounded was purposely deficient .

on 06/08/2019 I called Ford Motor Again to try to make the final payments I was advised I could not make the payments over the phone as the account has been closed, this was never relayed to me in any of the other conversations I'd had with the two previous Rep's. She stated I needed to now mail my payment in and once received it would reflect the account closed and paid, she had no information on if this would show as a late payment on my report or any other information as to updates that would be made to reflect the true standing of the account.

I appreciate that they moved my time up from 12 noon to 9:30 am on short notice. When I arrived, they began working on my car immediately (oil change), which is usually unheard of at other places. The Lady working the Quick Lane front desk didn't seem too enthused about providing me information about filling out the survey, and after asking several times, she still only gave me (uncertain) bits and pieces of information. I had to walk next door to get the details. Besides that, the AUTO service was great, quick, and fair. Very thorough, and the pleasant mechanic told me directly what issues my tire had. My husband and I always come here for his work truck purchases, car details, and service. Walked out at 10:55.

Our 4th purchase at Masheter, and nothing less than exceptional! Austin, Wendy, Gene, Tyler, all wonderful! Austin was very attentive, respectful, personable and knowledgeable. This was probably the most pleasant car shopping experience we ve had! Not the most high tech, (Hi Tyler) but definitely the most customer friendly, down to Earth, no pressure experience you will have buying a car! Very refreshing!

Went in for "the works"service package. To my knowledge everything was done and done correctly. They were also about $10 cheaper than Ricart. However, there were a few things I wasn't very happy with. When dropping the car off I had to ask how long the maintenance work would take. One would expect this to be proactively communicated. No one offered shuttle service even though I did select it thru the online appointment request. Luckily, my fiance was off and gave me a ride home. I was working remote that day but busy and expected someone to call and let me know my car was done. Nope, no one called, even hours later. I had to call them. I suppose that maybe when they gave me an expected timeline that I would come back at that time. However, with the service guy not providing a definite answer, I thought it was better I just wait. Yet, no courtesy call. When I arrived to get my car, I paid and was given the service paperwork. Later, after arriving home I reviewed the inpection report. There were multiple areas that indicated replacement was needed like cabin filter, wiper blades, nothing major but again no communication. Everyone was nice but the communication and level of service was lacking. Finally and on a more positive note, whoever the technician was, he thoroughly filled out my vehicle inspection sheet which made me feel they did all checks. It was easy to read and I was clear on any issues. I just wish someone at least said, "hey, there were a few minor issues we found." "Review the sheet, let me know if you have questions."

Scheduling was a mess. I called on a Tuesday for an appointment on Wednesday of the next week. Instead, on the Wednesday the day after making the appointment I received an e-mail that I had missed my appointment--which wasn't for another week. I called to straighten out the problem. I received a confirmation e-mail. The date was correct, but the time was not. When I left the car I mentioned problems with the key fob. The clerk said he had not heard of that problem before. Perhaps the battery was low, and he would ask the tech to check it. The mechanical work was done without difficulty, but there was no note that the fob was ever looked at, and certainly the problem was not addressed. The clerk was nowhere to be found when I picked up the car.

Brought it back and they checked it and couldn t find the reason. So four hours later I finally got back home. Not happy.

Used to love the place for last few years, but I'm on a stricm schedule and waited 75 min for my full synthetic oil change in my truck. To find out technician put the wrong oil in. Then waited for it to be drained and filled with exactly what I asked for. No discount was given from the dealership. Just "we are sorry". My time was wasted and yet wadwas compensated for it. Rest assured will be taking my truck to another Ford dealer.

When I told them I had an appointment at 7:00 am, they responded by saying that it is first come, first serve. Wish they would have mentioned that on their site. Ended up waiting for 3 hours.

I woud stay away from this dealership, they have trended downhill and only care about the sale, not the after experience or the customer. I dropped my wife's new $50,000 Ford edge off for an oil change and to check the rear hatch sticking to the bumper. I had a scheduled appointment, dropped it off at 8am and was told they were busy but would be ready by end of the day. No call, and the next day I called 4 times and kept getting told they would call me back. Finally my wife got ahold of someone on her second attempt who said the car could be picked up, they would leave it out and to just ask a sales manager because they would close at 6pm. They didn't even tell her anything about what they found or did to the car while they had it for 2 days.

So we get there at 8pm to pick it up because my wife had to have the car for the kids and herself. I went in and the sales manager, without asking my name, said service was closed and he couldn't help me. I told him we would have an issue if we couldn't get the car because it was sitting out in front as promised, he got angry at this and came around the desk and got in my face! A paying customer who's spent $50k on a car just a few months ago. I had to call the police because I felt so threatened by his actions. Thankfully they came and allowed us to take the car with the spare key. I have never in all my years seen actions like this before. Not only should that manager be fired but I should be apologized too. I have a feeling nothing of the sort will happen, now I will be taking my business to Roush ford since they care about their customers. Lost a life long customer, that's $600k or more over myself, my wife and my kids.

Very disappointed that I got off of work early on ...

Very disappointed that I got off of work early on a Saturday to come in for an oil change and the gentleman that I spoke with at the middle desk on the left side of the lane told me at 1:30p that he couldn t fit me in, when I got there there was no line of cars waiting like there usually is and there were people standing around not working on any cars. I was told to come back on Monday, and when I got there there was actually a line of cars and I didn t have time to wait. Upset that I have wasted so much time to be turned away, will be taking my vehicle and my family s vehicles elsewhere from now on.

They were able to work with me and get me an unbelievable deal and service. I will not by another vehicle from another dealership again, that s how good these guys are.

The truck I now have was clean, fully serviced, and reasonably priced. I received more than top dollar for my trade in and walked off the lot happy and more comfortable. Props and kudos to Dick Masheter and his team. Ask for Austin!

Not happy 3 hours yesterday and 5 1/2 hours today...

Not happy 3 hours yesterday and 5 1/2 hours today just to get four new tires trying to buy for brand new Set of Michelin s $1200 and they vibrated really bad went back today they put on two different sets and they was no good and finally put Perelli s on and I finally got out of there. Took a day off work so I could get this done and lost $23.11 for 12 hours. I learned a valuable lesson not to buy tires from Ford. On top of that a sales person said they would pay half of my tire fee. And set me up with a brand new car with the same payments for six more years. Not very happy needless to say my blood pressure went up.

This dealer is not trustworthy. They sold me a car their own service department replaced the speedometer. On the mileage disclosure form, they said it was actual, it in reality had over 30,000 more miles on it. The back brakes also didn't work when they sold it to us. Asked them to inspect it and they wanted to charge 6 times more than any other dealer. Feel extremely taken advantage of. Will never step foot in here again, probably won't buy a Ford again either.

Purchase 2010 VW Jetta I was talking for a payment price range around $250. They continually showed my cars beyond my price range all of the cars were all very nice. However do it to my credit rating they've worked with me for almost 3 hours to finally find a lender. My car payment is $369 and I also have gap insurance ..... thank goodness I got a raise and promotion at work or I would be unable to afford the car. I think I got a really good deal but, did feel a little pressured. I guess these are Characteristics of sales!! So far I have been satisfied with my car, I love it!

This is the by far worst ford dealership in Columbus there a DISGRACE a bunch of morons in service dept had truck for 2 weeks to replace a transmission lead board Brandon the service manager is a imbusull has women call customers back because he dosent have the spine to do it himself he's a coward and a lying P.O.S. I just hope people get smart and don't give him the chance to screw them around like he's to I wouldn't let this company work on a bicycle seat

Austin Nichols was great! He made sure I had a chance to explore all available options of Rangers so I could narrow down my list of wants and needs. He very patiently showed me different models in the snow on Saturday. Great deal on a 2019 Ranger that I LOVE. Jim Franklin was wonderful as well. Great experience and would recommend Masheter Ford to family and friends.
