After a bad experience with another Ford at another dealer, I came to Dick Masheter when it was time for a new car. Now I have a car I love (Ford Fusion Energi) from a dealer that's great. When I was in to purchase the car, I met the owner and one of the mechanics/technicians, who came up to talk to me about the hybrid plug in.
I'm currently here for service for the third time: the first time was for the 10k mile check up, second was for a modem recall, and now for a software update for that modem. And all three times, the service and people have been great.
I definitely recommend this dealer.
Dick Masheter Ford Service Department exceeded my expectations, provided quality service, a positive customer experience, actually listened to me and didn't just try to extract my money while patting me on the head.
Though they are not the closest Ford dealer to my home, they are the only Ford service department willing to listen and work for the resolution of my vehicle issues. They did indeed find and correct the problem that others couldn't or wouldn't.
I commend Cole, the service writer, for his professionalism and actively listening to my concerns. His willingness to communicate with the service manager, the technician and myself to find a solution to my repair needs.
It seems most dealers nowadays, just want to shine you on with fake courtesy and a fancy waiting room. Not Dick Masheter. They actually cared, had a genuine willingness and interest to truly solve my problem. Their priority was to make sure I was taken care of.
I did not buy my current Ford from them, I was not a long standing customer with years of history but based on this experience, I intend to return to them with my business in the future.
I was completely dismissed by the first dealer, claiming "Not everything you read on the internet is what is wrong with your vehicle." Basically an attitude of, we are the experts and will not listen to your research and personal experience as a mechanic.
Second dealer couldn't think outside the box. They said that since my vehicle was outside the date range for the Ford technical service bulletin, it was "impossible" for that to be my problem.
Both verbally suggested that replacing the transmission was the likely course, for thousands of dollars. Dick Masheter Ford, by listening and working together, solved my problem for an hour of labor and updating the software in the transmission control module, just as the research, bulletins & symptoms pointed to.
It is damn hard to find a car dealer with heart, ethics and a true interest in serving the customer's needs. I'm glad I found Dick Masheter Ford's Service Department.
I think customer service has slipped a little. I was not impressed with my visit. In light of this I am considering going to a different quik lane location.

I called and had an appointment to bring my 2010 ford fusion in for a transmission issue, which that I researched for 4 months and found that there was a customer satisfaction program for it, last Monday. Due to my work schedule I dropped it off Sunday night. When I called Monday morning I was informed that they got the car and would start working on it. I was originally told it would be a 3 day fix. I called on Wednesday to see if it would be ready for pickup after 4pm. The gentleman I talked to couldn't find the car. I was placed on hold for 30 minutes, when I had to hang up and get back to work. I never received a call back until after 4pm. When I returned their call I was relieved to hear that the car had been found and the issue was with the hoses. They suggested replacing both hoses and flushing the transmission, an 860+tax repair job. I reached out to family members to help cover the expenses and when I got confirmation that they could help i called back and was told that the mechanic that was working on my car had left for the day and the person on the other end of the phone wasnt sure how long it would take to change the hoses because he wasn't sure if they were in stock. I waited until Friday to call back and when I was finally able to get through I was told that the car was still in diagnostics. At around 245pm I got a call telling me that the car would be done in 90 minutes, well I was on my way to work and told them I would be in Saturday after 4pm to pick it up and was told someone would be there. When I got there at 430 Saturday afternoon no one was in the service department, so I went to the night cashier, unfortunately no one brought over my paper work so I ended up sitting for another 20 minutes while 2 nice gentalman from the sales department went hunting. After I paid the bill I went to my car and found that it was dead, and a tire was flat. I have a slow leak in the tire anyways. I got a jump and again the nice guys at sales was able to fill up the tire so I could get home. As I was driving on the freeway everything was going well. About 5 minutes from my house the check engine and transmission light came on. As I turned onto my street the car quit, one of the issues I reported. I turned it off and started it up and and drive the block home. When I went out the next morning to go to work the battery was dead. I dont know what they did but the battery had no issues before I took it in, and good customer service would suggest that if you notice a tire going flat you would get ahold of the person and suggest patching it free of charge because it took 5 days to "fix" the car, when I was expecting 3, losing the car for probably half a day, and then leaving it on the diagnostic machine, which probably ruined the battery. You better believe that I will be going down there and demanding compensation for the new issues and for the still prevalent issue on my next day off. I would never recommend buying or taking your ford here for any service issues
I called to make an appointment but was told that a service manager would call me back. I waited nearly 2 days before actually going to the shop to make an appointment. A lot of effort for a customer to spend their hard earned money .
I would like to thank the sales rep Allen McCloud for finding the perfect F150 that I was looking for and finding the best deal, I appreciate Dick Masheter Ford for being an honest dealership and very friendly towards their customers. I look forward to future services and business.
Went here because my husband purchased his current vehicle here many years ago. The vehicles on showroom floor had dead batteries and weren't hooked up so we couldn't see how any features worked (seat adjustments, opening back hatches etc). Since most features on newer cars are electronic this should be a consideration when showing potential buyers vehicles and their options. Also salespeople should be knowledgeable on how features work on these new vehicles. The salesman I had continued to show us vehicles we weren't interested in and we left not knowing any more than we did when we arrived. Hands on and demonstrating features is a must for potential buyers. I was disappointed.
This review is long over due. I recently became Power of Attorney for my grandmother and came across the title to her 2008 Mercury Milan that she purchased January of 2014. The car had 73,000 miles at the time of purchase and they gouged her a price of $16,082. This price did not include tax. It is sad that a business would take advantage of an old lady or anyone. Don't do business with people who don't care about you.
Service dept is thorough! They may not rush, but they get it done right and for a fair price! Thank you Manager, Brandon Hood and your excellent mechanics! Always courteous to me and my Fusion I bought 2 years ago from the excellent sales staff as well!
I wrote that last year, now 12/2019, just had my 60k mile check up. Excellent service once again! Brandon even made it a point to talk to me! Love this dealership and will buy from here again.
Terrible experience. Takes 3 days for analysis before they even fix anything. 15-20 minute wait when you call. Staff is clueless and don t seem to care about customer service.
I hated my experience. Was asked my age 3 times, sat me in an office while I watched 3 groups of people, whom walked in by at least 15+ minutes. I was then place in the far office in the corner of the room, until someone (guy) walks in with a credit/financing application. I asked....which car did we discuss? Do you even know if I have an appointment? Apparently my questions disturbed him, as he became defensive and would only proceed if I had credit app. Yes my car is crappy, but telling me that my "car will lose it total value and if I don't get the process started immediately, I will lose out and rates will rise." this guy was a clown. And that's putting it nicely.
Overall it was a good experience. Was bothered that the oil change that it took FOREVER! I was first in line. The 2 cars that came in after me and had the SAME work done both left a good 1/2 hr before me! Tech did a lot of walking around! When I left I had to return because the Tech made my next oil change for 3000 miles! . Every other time it s been 3500 or 5000! Wish you would have some consistency between your Techs! Service Rep did great. I ll be back.

Long wait for an oil change. Dropped it off at 7:20 a.m had an appt. At 10 a.m, vehicle was there to almost 6pm just for oil change. They sale commercial trucks but can't get Alignment service for them. Jess at service was nice.

This is my 2nd vehicle to buy from Masheter Ford and this time went just as smoothly as the last. I had an excellent sales experience with Austin Nichols. He was very attentive and kept me very informed during the process.
Terrible, awful experience, twice. I leased a car from them once. The sales experience was terrible. I wish I hadn't leased from them from the start. But I did. When it came time to return my lease I bought a car - they were giving me a "deal."
The "deal" they sold me was a 2015 Ford Focus. It's an absolute lemon. I have had to get the clutch replaces 4 times, the power steering pump once, and electrical components on the steering wheel and dash twice.
All of these issues were known problems when they sold me this car. While all repairs are covered under warranty and recalls getting in to get an appointment is almost impossible. No one ever answers the phone after the receptionist transfers you.
To summarize difficult and pishy sales persons, they'll sell you a crappy car knowing it's crappy, and their customer service sucks.
Avoid going here!
I took my car to do a Recall and every moment they gave me different information, first they said that it was not Recall's problem and he paid $ 2,000, then they said that it was Recall and that he would not pay for the service, then they spoke again about paying, 15min later they called me saying that the car was ready to pick up, and they told me that they changed some parts off the Recall and would have to pay $ 140, then at the time of giving me the key they said that the $ 140 was diagnostic and Recall would not be done by the fact that the expensive one is with many miles, a total disorder and complete lack of commitment and education with the client, in addition to leaving me 5 days without my car.
The advisors that work at Quick Lane are outstanding. They offer great prices and they are also easy to work with. I will continue to take all of my Ford Transit vans here for service. Aaron and Gabbie are great!

Great dealership and great service lane. You don't need an appointment for oil change, tire rotation, and inspection. They are quick and make sure everything is taken care of properly.
The purpose of my visit was for an oil change, tire rotation and for two factory recall fixes. The issue I had is that when I returned home after picking up my car I reviewed the paperwork given to me and looked at the standard inspection sheet and saw that my front brake pads were noted to be at 2mm and in the "red". No one had called to tell me that, they just said my car was done and they didn't review it while I came to pick my car up. Had I known that, while my car was already there it would've been nice to have been aware and I would've gotten that replaced. That seems like it should be a standard procedure. Now I need to schedule an additional appointment elsewhere to get my brakes done.
Share with me what I'll have to have done in a timely manner. Said I would be out with in an hours time and I was . Going to buy my next Ford from you guys probably next year but I'm keeping my Ford Escape thanks for great service
THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER BEEN DRAGGED THRU! Brought our business van in on 7/03/17....Met with Matt...i told him they might want to take a look at the tires as i have had delaminations in the past and it was shaking badly..."No problem 'Buddy' we'll get you fixed up"...i go thru Brandon next, Heath next and Aaron next all offering excuses, promising they will get to it.....i call over eight times over the course of the month plus that they had it......NEVER got a return cal!.....i finally say "Fix it or give it back!" wait two days and again check-in....they still have not looked at it!..(it has been OVER a MONTH!)......i say "get it ready i'm picking it up".....as i am driving it out i stop and ask to speak with the owner.... i get Jeremy McNutt and he says they will fix it and as i was concerned about driving it i take him up on the offer.....fixed with-in 4 hours.....Delaminations in the tires! Never- Ever go there! Find a dealership that will give you honest assessments and time frames!...THE WORST SERVICE EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER BEEN DRAGGED THRU!- - Here's another hint.....do not EVER refer to your customer as "BUDDY".

John Bishop and the body shop team restored my first car, a 1972 Monte Carlo. It was wrecked and had sat for 25 years. It looks amazing and sound incredible. Better than it did when I bought it in high school in 1987.

I was frantic, soccer mom of 4 driving all over all day every day, and we were scheduled to take a long trip out of state... an unfamiliar WRENCH light (indicating powertrain/transmission/all-wheel-drive issues - NOT standard maintenance... I called around all my local dealerships, they all had weeks long to wait to even get it in to get a quick scan to SEE what was wrong. Todd told me to come on in and he would see to it that we got scanned- We pulled the code... One I can drive on but one I will need to be fixed soon. I won't even be price shopping, they have earned my business. Thank you for giving me peace of mind and assistance! This mom is SUPER GRATEFUL!!!

Picked up my Fiesta St here. Came in near closing time on a Friday and the salesman Brandon let me take it for a test drive. Came back Saturday morning and bought the car. Didn't feel pressured and was very happy with my buying experience.

I would rate them acutally at 4.5 stars. Service is excellent 90-95% consistenly. A bit high at times but quality is consistent.

James Manville and his general manager Bill Lewis were awesome to work with! They went above and beyond to get me the car I wanted in a color I would be happy with. When something unexpected happened with the one they were going to get me in a dealer trade, they were on it looking for another one immediately. I was then torn between a couple colors since I hadn t seen them in person and they managed to get one of each from other dealers so I could pick! Doesn t get better than that as far as outstanding customer service! If you need a new car go see them!

Awful!! Took 2.5 hours for the quick change oil change. Check in guy did not listen to me about my vehicle- told him it was a lease plan and he failed to understand three times and then tried to charge me for service- clueless!!!
The vehicle has a battery issue but they could not find it and did not replace- the only reason I went to the dealership is because of faulty battery!

We bought a new ford focus titanium from them in 2015. It has 5.00 oil changes for life so I always go there for that deal and get my tires rotated this cost around 21.00 total. My wife stopped by yesterday to get this done and they wouldn't rotate my tires they said my lug nuts were swollen and wanted to charge my wife around 100.00 for new lug nuts. Really if they couldn't get them off how were they going to put new ones on. NOT COOL

Do not like how Quick Lane no longer lets you make appointments for oil changes. I went in Saturday morning at 7:30 and did not leave until 9:15. A $5 oil change is not worth 2 hours of time.
I worked with Jim first on a request I put in through the website. He was prompt and incredibly nice. I then worked with Brandon through the sale. We had it cleaned and taken care of after the decision was made. My experience was not pushy, it was clear quick and they worked with me throughout the purchase in order to make me feel comfortable. The sales manager Bill was very helpful in working to the right price. I am very happy with the experience and would recommend Masheter and these sales reps to anyone. I am very excited about the oil changes and the level of service I received through my shopping process!
Went in for a noise coming from my engine. After a $500 evaluation, I was told I need a new $8000 engine. Went to Luke's Auto in the northern part of Columbus and after a $50 part and a couple hours of tech time, the noise was gone. So much for needing to replace the engine. Now I am getting phone calls from their sales team constantly trying to buy my vehicle. I would avoid this place at all costs. Zero stars if possible
Best buying experience I've had at a dealership. Went in with no intention of buying just to see what I could afford and how my credit was and received help with no questions or pressure about buying. Salesman went through the whole process knowing I had no intent on buying at the moment and still was very professional. Left with a purchase.

My daughter went in for some service Dec.9th, I paid with my ford card, she ended up trading her car for a ford escape, was told I'd be reimbursed for cost of service. I've been in touch with management as well as pay roll. It's been over a month and I still haven't seen my money. Would love to talk to owner about this, I've been so patient but enough is enough. From start to finish the worst customer service ever experienced! From promises from Todd not followed through on, to promises of multiple call backs from Paul, to Paul being heard in the background when I tried to get answers and him sending me to someone else who had no idea what was going on! A half to one day job turned into 3 days and no answers until noon on the third day! When I came to pick up the truck Cole was the only honest person I spoke to! Wrong diognosis turned into ordering another part to another day for delivery to another day for the repair. Never once was i told what was going on. Best part.... This is my work truck.. I pull a trailer every day for my buisness. I was left for three days guessing what was going on getting rides to and from work because nobody had the balls to tell me masheter screwed up! I could have gotten a rental from you guys at least... Nope didn't happen... I could have gotten one myself... Nope because each day I was told it will be done tomorrow, strung along getting rides to and from the jobsite! If you screw up... Man up and tell the truth! I would have made arrangements! If I ran my buisness the way you do I would go bankrupt! I wish I could give zero stars! Side note Cole deserves a raise! The only honest person in the service department!
