Truly fantastic cocktails and environment. I brought two visiting friends there on a Friday night and it was the perfect mix of lively but not so crowded you can't breathe. Drinks are a little pricey, but it's the experience you're going for. I ordered the Strong Medicine and you'd be smart to do the same.
Great deviled eggs. We love to go during the holidays for an Irish coffee, but it gets really packed. Expect to wait for a table.

We stopped in after work and the bar downstairs was packed. However, we were able to find spots at the bar fairly quickly. I'm so glad we stayed; the pork belly quail egg sliders were to die for! The drinks were delicious and creative as well, but nothing could beat the atmosphere. I can't wait to return and I highly recommend anyone visiting the city should check out the Dead Rabbit!
I rarely give a bar 5 stars. But there s nothing that I can think of to make it better. It s dimly lit but you can still see. There s live music but you can still hear. There s an insane drink selection but you can still pick. There s so many people but there s still room to stand. There s a lot of bar sitters but the bar tender is still super nice. It s great here.

Overpriced with lacklustre service. An okay spot if you're on a business trip because you're probably not paying with your own money. As a tourist, shop around for a better place.

I went in for a few drinks here on Valentine s Day and really enjoyed. Managed to get access to the upstairs tables and try a few different cocktails. Really great spot, excellent staff that are helpful and friendly. I quite like the style of the menus and branding too!
Quite possibly the coziest bar in FiDi! I love this bar! I don't believe there's a drink they can't make and their beer selection is great! Perfect Guinness pour Everytime! Melissa was behind the bar last night and she is fantastic, she put up with our motley crew until 4am and never broke her smile. If you're looking for your next favorite bar The Dead Rabbit is it! I just left and can't wait to go back!
It's like the enchanted The Dead Rabbit Grocery and Grog room, but with a bar! Friendly staff, good drinks, good music, and the place was really bumping by 9.
What a great tight to fit in little joint. Multilevel and floor 2 is best whereas floor 1 is just jammed. Have a really good bartender - kept attention above the weekend noisy crowd but all friendly and fun - great whiskies and food.

We love this bar and always take people when they're visiting us. Try to go at an off time to avoid crowds. The drinks are very good and the food is reason to come by itself. The pork belly sliders are a must have.
The best cocktails in NYC. Very cozy atmosphere, great for lunch with small groups or a cocktail during happy hour.
I almost feel that this place doesn't need more good reviews at this point but it definitely deserves them. It is hands down the best cocktail bar I have been to. It starts with the bartender experience and the ability to try tons of Irish whiskey you couldn't try anywhere else in the United States. It goes so much further than that though. Even on the busiest nights they have taken extra care of me and the party I was in.
I will mention that this place is definitely on the expensive side at $16 to $18 but they are worth it. Furthermore I feel you won't really like this place to it's fullest until you spend a few hours and have a few drinks to get the experience. If you plan to go in, have a Guinness and get out then honestly you aren't using this bar to it's fullest.

I've came there to drink something warm, it was a cold and rainny day. We sit close to the window, we have order coffee and tee, then we were asked to leave our table and to sit at the bar, because the bigger group has arrived, but the way how we were asked to do this was more rather, "you spend not enough to stay here, go away!"

An incredible cocktail experience. The location is a stretch outside of the normal villages stomping grounds for quality cocktails, but it's worth the trip. The 2nd floor is the main attraction, but don't discount the ground floor. It's all great!
Awesome experience we ate on the third floor at the bar. The bartenders were top notch, the atmosphere was funky, the drinks and food were delicious. A++
We went there on a Saturday afternoon around 2pm and the place was packed. The space upstairs is smaller and they don't take walk in reservations hete. Meanwhile, the downstairs section has more seating options and we were able to find a table after 20min wait. Service was pretty quick downstairs.
Great cocktails! We tried over 10 cocktails and they were all fantastic. Everyone must try their Irish coffee, it is the world's best, as they claim it to be.
Great atmosphere, better drinks because of some talented bartenders! Scotch eggs were delish and the fries were cooked perfectly. But the Dead Rabbit Irish Coffee is a show stopper!

This place is simply excellent. Packed, charming, and riddled with the best cocktails ever. And I m not talking freaky whacky weird flavor combos that came to you mid acid journey, I m talking truly crafted delicious incredible cocktails. Excellent service from an amazing bar team, great tunes downstairs and wicked tasty treats. But, don t go, cause I want to get a table and keep it to myself.

The drawback for me is probably the charm for a lot of other people. It is so very, very small and crowded. Drinks were great, food looked great. If you don't mind cramped spaces, this could be your favorite bar ever.
You've heard of foodgasm, yes? This place is DRINKGASM (yeah, it's a thing). No one really has interest in waiting to go upstairs, but that's where all the magic is. It's a dark, cozy and intimate place to enjoy incredibly intriguing drinks with some good food. Any of my friends visiting from out of state always get brought here. The cocktail bar upstairs is one of the best I've been to
I ate at the pub four times this week (it is across from my hotel). All four meals were very good. Nothing adventurous, just good pub food. If you order the specials, it goes from reasonable to downright cheap for dinner.
Downstairs was a cool bar, only waited maybe 5-10 minutes after putting our name on the list to head upstairs which is an experience of it's own! Service was quick, people were friendly, drinks were amazing, all around great place!
Authentic Irish pub (walked in to a table of three Irish lads chatting away) with good brunch and better cocktails. Cool atmosphere...Saw dust on floors and traditional pub feel.
It was beautiful-peaceful and relaxing. Staff was outstanding. The restaurant was exceptional along with the hosts and servers.

Had to try this bar recently voted one of the best bars of 2017, with imaginative, delicious mixed cocktails. Went there around 2pm in the afternoon on a weekday, It was a crowded, packed tight, tri-level space, in a very old, historic building. Bartender was great. Drinks were excellent.

Definitely somewhere I bring along my friends for a cozy night chatting over yummy & complex cocktails in the tea parlor. Their drink menu changes seasonally (they used to have hardcover menu books that I miss). Punch is delicious to share. If you are overwhelmed with choices, definitely ask for recommendations. Staff have been spot on with rec's and are friendly & attentive every time. Appetizer and food are all delicious (get the fries!).
This place is comparatively small but full of energy,joy and drinks. I dnt drink but my friends tried some n they loved it. Did not feel any awkwardness or sense of discrimination for even a single moment.. fries were very tasty...do visit this place

The last Irish coffee was complementary thanks to the generous host and it was most delicious even to my husband who do not enjoy coffee.
