My favorite bar. Great vibs and they make every know drink well or die trying. They had a fire but it's back! It's Irish but you can get one of those foamy daiquies or classic highball. Also, and this is important, you can get a scotch egg here. Marvelous. I love it upstairs.

My fiance and I visted New York at the beginning of June. A local bartender from Omaha suggested we visit this bar because the drinks were good. When we went it was better than we expected, the atmosphere was wonderful, bartender (Kaitlyn) was so nice, and the drinks/food were amazing! I would definitely recommend this place and we cant wait to come back. Also BEST irish coffee's we have ever had.

Upscale upstairs and more casual feel downstairs. Authentic and great blend of modern Irish pub and a traditional turn of the century historic Irish landmark! Only disappointment is they play classic rock....why would they do that in an Irish pub?

There is a reason why this bar is recommended by almost all of the locals. The interior is nice but no air conditioning on a really sweltering summer day in the city. Only saving grace is the fantastic cold concoctions that the expert bartenders mix up. My husband really loved his old fashioned and I enjoyed the gimlet. The lobster deviled eggs were fantastic... order them... you won't be disappointed. (Unless you hate lobster or eggs)

The best part of our experience was the Irish coffee that the bartender offered to make us complementary. I don't drink coffee.. never have... but this was out of this world delicious. I absolutely loved it. They totally converted me to loving coffee... well only if there is liquor in it. ;)

If you come in expecting a loud, cramped irish pub full of character and whiskey, you're in the right place. The pints are reasonable($8-9) for the area and the beer/whiskey selection is impressive. There's a small but clean unisex bathroom in the back. Great for a visit and a few drinks, but not a great place for groups or long visits.

I really enjoyed it and look forward to my next visit, but I wouldn't recommend it for a group of more than 4, or any other meal but a late lunch

Got there around 4pm. No smiles from any employee. I thought one bartender was rude. Then I met another bartender and barback. Both were short and unresponsive with answering questions. The drink was good but hospitality was a 1/10. Actively telling people about my bad experience.

The waiting time that was given was far from the actual time we got a table. By then 2 of 6 left. And when we told them that they said we have to wait longer... we left, of course. The criteria and taking care of you costumers has to prevail. It doesn't matter the scale of the place.

This off-the-beaten-path bar reminds me of a speakeasy from the early 1900's. Decorated with old black and white photos, sawdust covered floors and a vibe reminiscent of an old-time tavern, the downstairs taproom is perfect for unwinding with a pint of Guinness. Upstairs, however, is where the real magic happens in my opinion. Though you might wait until space allows, the cocktail lounge, or parlor, that resides on the 2nd floor is where you might have imagine the "upper classes" to have wined and dined. The cocktail menu and selection is impeccable and the staff certainly knows how to create a palette pleasing drink that can suit a variety of consumers. I didn't have the chance to try their food menu but from the looks of it, it seemed to be on par with the cocktails. A lovely place to take friends or visitors for a special occasion, I highly recommend hitting this spot up if you happen to be in the area.

There's a reason this is considered the best bar in the world. Each floor is its own experience, 3rd floor has some clever cocktails that are great to drink when waiting to get into the second floor. The second floor is absolutely incredible, worth whatever wait it takes to get in.

A fantastic experience for their cocktail lounge, however, it depends on your preferences for a cocktail. Dead Rabbit enjoys their success on well balanced cocktails, however, for me, I like more spirit forward drinks. There's more wild and inventive cocktails elsewhere in the city.

My cocktail (Perfect Lady Royale) was absolutely delicious. I also ate the lamb stew, which was very flavorful and filling. Lastly, the Irish coffee was superb. Atmosphere was lively and pleasant, not too loud to have a conversation. We only visited the downstairs portion and would definitely recommend it. Their many awards for cocktails are clearly well deserved!

Due to time we did not fully experience the richness this bar had to offer. You can see why it received its 5 star rating in 2016. Voted best pub. Great array of drinks and especially Irish whiskey. Prices for food looked quite expensive however the whiskey taster was good value. Worth a visit as we have not experienced a better bar as of yet.

A small, very cozy little bar in the Financial District of Manhattan. Not a typical tourist destination, here the New Yorkers go to talk and really drink good cocktails. Unlike other bars in Manhattan, alcohol can not be saved here. The service is very friendly and attentive. Even spilled drinks will be replaced free of charge. Truly a place that every New York visitor should have seen at least once.

It didn't live up to the hype. While I enjoyed my cocktail, I just wasn't blown away by either the selection or the creativity. It has a great atmosphere though. My partner thoroughly enjoyed her martini.

Good music. Descent drinks. Biggest issue here is they have sawdust on the floor which combined with drink spills, makes the floor slippery and an accident waiting to happen especially for women in heels.

They do everything right at the Dead Rabbit. Went there for my wife's 50th birthday and we were not disappointed. Cocktails were great and the service professional and polite. We will come back when we get to NYC next time.

A must stop in bar in the FiDi, a favorite of locals and attracts a young NYC crowd every night of the week. Be prepared for a crowd, and keep an eye out for a table as they do not take reservations. On weekends you can enjoy some of the best specialty drinks on the second floor, which are amazing, but regular bar service is only available on the first floor. The food is incredible, get the lamb Shepard's pie and the Irish bread basket. Fish and chips has a strange flavor in the breading. Bar and table service is excellent.

Came here for my birthday after many, MANY recommendations from bartender friends. Despite the hour wait for a table in the Parlour upstairs, it was well worth it. Perfect atmosphere, great staff and above all, great cocktails. Even if you find the menu (yes, it's a book!) a little daunting, the staff can usually recommend you something depending on what you feel like. An absolute must for denizens on New York and visitors from afar if you enjoy a fun, relaxed environment to sip down a few well-crafted drinks with friends or alone and just enjoy life.

Truly the best bar. I love going here so much anytime I am in the city. If you go during the day it is less crowded and feels like you are in Ireland. Their truffle fries are AMAZING and their lobster deviled eggs are also so great....of course the cocktails are the best.

Fantastic pub with authentic saw dust on the floor.
They have a good selection of local and imported beers and amazing cocktails.
Be sure to speak to bartenders or ask if you are unsure what to get, as they are super knowledgeable and interesting. They can even tell you all about the history of this pub.

Nice and cosy American-Irish cocktail bar serving some great food options and drinks. It gets busy with the local crowds in the evenings but worth a visit if you re in the Battery Park area. Quite an extensive menu for food and for drinks, with signature cocktails, local brews, and creative culinary combos.

Excellent place without a doubt an iconic place in New York for all tourists and citizens the drinks are of another level and their mythology has made them the best bar in the world I recommend trying the hamburger

The parlor is such a cool place! They had alcohol samples in tea cups and comic book menus! One of my friend read the whole comic and said it was just ok, not worth buying for $6.

Besides the sample punch, all the other cocktails were just mediocre. Nothing too memorable. Food and service on the other hand are worth coming back for. I will have food and beer next time!

We arrived at 5pm on the dot when they opened and was supposedly lucky to have gotten a seat at the parlor. I've heard that it is usually packed and hard to get in.
