We visited for dinner for the first time. There are 3 levels. The 3rd floor is for private parties only. When arriving the host said it was a 25 minute wait for the taproom which is the Dining room on the 2nd floor. We waited in the the Parlor on the first floor which is a bar with some live music. The Taproom was extremely crowded but we were able to get drinks within 5-7 minutes. After waiting about 15 minutes the pager buzzed that our table was ready. We went to the second floor and were seated. Fish and chips we're amazing but the gnoche was just ok. Ambience was amazing and they piped the live music through speaker that was playing downstairs. The experience was very nice and will come back.

As a craft cocktail fan, I was really hyped up to visit The Dead Rabbit. It did not disappoint. The three cocktails we had were delicious (I would have loved to have more but at $15 a pop, 3 was plenty). I thought the food was great; enjoyed the chips with dipping sauce and the fried fish. The apple crumble was less of a crumble and more of a doughy pie, but still yummy. Very glad to have made the stop here - worth the visit!

The food is incredible here and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The cocktails are equally stunning and it is a beauty of a venue. If you're able to get one of the booths on the ground floor I would recommend it!

This is one of the best cocktail bars in NYC and likely in the world. My personal favorite cocktails are drop dead gorgeous and bang out of order.
On the food side, lobster stuffed devilled eggs are a must have as well Scotch eggs. Other than that, it is a well executed menu of bar Staples.

Phenomenal. Cocktails so good they will ruin all the other cocktails for you.

We started at the lower floor drinking some fresh Guinness, sipping through a flight of Irish whiskies (Green spot, Redbreast 12 are excellent drams), eating a cheese & charcuterie platter, a burger, and shepherd's pie.

As the night progressed we moved on upstairs to the cocktail bar. Sleek, dark yet warm atmosphere surrounded us with black & red color themes. Each of us had about 4 cocktails in total - oh what a pleasure. Freshness, precision, complexity. Well done.

The service was fantastic and prompt, in both areas of the establishment.

I came here for a quick drink before dinner elsewhere with my boyfriend. I realized there, while at The Dead Rabbit NYC, what most LA restaurants are missing when compared to New York - a lively, yet inviting atmosphere. It was so nice to feel that energy again while at The Dead Rabbit NYC.

Exceeded all expectations. Our bartender Ian was not only extremely knowledgeable but equally hospitable. Gave great recommendations. I would recommend all of my friends make a special trip to the Dead Rabbit.

Great food and drinks, even better service and conversation with Shane at the bar. He was amazing, from Ireland, such interesting stories! Took a genuine interest in us. Had the black bean burger and a "honeymoon" cocktail, delish.

A lovely bar. Nice atmosphere downstairs and really just wonderful upstairs. Great drinks and really great food. Cocktails are super expensive, and $7 for bud light downstairs, but $12 beer shot combo. Loved it here.

Three bar/restaurants on three levels. Gets crowded so there can be a wait. Mixologists are considered the best of the best. Food is great. Comfy food. The hostesses are super friendly. Free shots of the house specialty drink of the day are tray passed.

Amazing place for cocktails!

Amazing place for cocktails!
The lower level is already a great pub by itself, where you can have good food and drinks. But for some great cocktails you have to go tho the second floor. Amazing!

Largest selection of Irish whiskey and delicious and creative handmade cocktails.

Awesome. I m picky so I ordered the two that sounded least appealing to me and was blown away. The doctors orders and the trailblazer. These girls rocked my world. Can not wait to go back.

Service is impeccable but for the cost it better be! Interesting place with lots of curious decorations. Delicious cocktails. Very busy but easy to get a seat if you just wait a few minutes

I've always been philosophically against cocktails. I worship single ingredients at a time. However, when coming here, it was so obviously good and (Dare i say it) served the best prepared, most daring, and most consistent cocktails I've ever had. I will be coming here again, and it will be a celebration.

I'm still reeling.

They have now reopened after a fire. Very busy place. Rated as one of the top gun mills in NYC. Expanding next door shortly. Go and then say you went there. Very busy so you take your chances in food quality, service and drinks. Been there, done that.

What a wee gem of a place. We where in New York for my birthday and heard so many people talking about this place back home in Ireland that we had to make a point of visiting. We certainly weren't disappointed, the atmosphere was amazing, the look and feel of the place was very homely. I wish we could of stayed longer. I hope to be in New York again and when I do this will be my first port of call.

When you enter, you see the old-fashioned pub with sawdust on the floor. It had lots and lots of photos on the antique-looking ceiling, and a large wall paining on the left site. It was a bit narrow, and not really a place for a sit-down meal. If you are just wanting to get some craft beer, bottled punch, and whiskeys of the world, then this is the spot.

Since we were there to eat. we went upstairs to the Parlor. The dining space was filled with photos, wall to wall. They were all numbered, so I assume they have a list somewhere that tells us a description of each photo. The furniture other than chairs seemed pretty old, nice thick wood tables. Possibly the original flooring, and very impressive ceiling with exposed wood beam. I liked the darker green wall, that went really well with the rest of decor, and gave nice, relaxing atmosphere.

Everything was really good here, even thought the prices are on a bit high side, but the quality was really high. The service was ok, but not great. As we sat down (without anyone directing us to a table), no one came for a while... until I went to grab a couple of menus, and started to look at them... But other than that, it was ok, the staffs were polite.

Overall, we had nice time here, and food and drinks were great. I would love to go back for some other menu items they offer. Read my full review of this restaurant and food on my food blog, foodlovergirl.

Cocktails were amazing. They were confident that all were gluten free (no potentially problematic flavored liquors). They have gluten free items marked on their menu. I wasn't there to eat, so I didn't ask many questions about cross contamination. Do note that their fryer isn't dedicated to gluten free food, so don't go for the fries if that's a concern.
