Went to there pre-owned lot and met with Scott and was very happy and pleased with his attitude and desire to find a vehicle in our price range. We walked away with a 2014 Camry hybrid great ride and price, after leaving the dealership discovered the Bluetooth was not working and could not use the hands free, the navigation, radio all worked but no hands free. We went back about 3 days later when we went to pick up the 2nd set of keys, I spoke to Scott about the problem with the Bluetooth (I kind of expected them to blow me off seeing how the vehicle came with no warranty) but to the contrary Scott took it right back to service to see if they could correct the problem, they came back with the problem was in the radio and would need to be replaced, very expensive. After all that Mat (I be leave was his name) the pre-owned service manager got involved tried his luck with no luck but then started doing some research and found a possible fix, he took the car back to service and had them do a software reload on the entertainment system, a 1/2 hour later everything was working just fine. Many thanks to Scott and Mat for all there efforts and the people in the service for sliding my vehicle in, that software upload saved me about $1700.00 the price of a new system, expensive because of all the features the system entails. Very happy and will remember them into the future. Thanks job well done

We found a used car online and inquired about it. It was just obtained the day before and wasn't even put down on the lot ready for sale. We dealt with Scott Barnes and he was sensational. Since it was so new to the dealership it had not been through the inspection so when we test drove it there was a vibration but other than that we wanted it. Scott and the staff made an arrangement with us so we did not have to buy it, just do some initial paperwork to show our commitment to buy it. They did the work on it and when came back on Monday, test drove it and it rode very nice, no more vibration. Scott was so friendly to our family, answered questions, showed us the features of the vehicle and the staff was great too. We are extremely pleased with our vehicle. We did find something cosmetically wrong after we brought it home so my wife brought it back the next day and they are ordering the part to replace it without any issue. It was a great experience.

My phone inquiry of a specify vehicle was the start of a telephone marathon. I was transferred 4 times with a promise of the price and verification that the vehicle was still available for sale (on the lot). This information was for my ability to research and compare similar vehicles for the best buy.
Each person requested my personal information, such as full name, telephone number, address and email. This information was not necessary for the simple request I made. As well as I did not want to be placed on another marketing list yielding constant unwanted calls, junk mail to my home and spam filling my email.
Therefore, I provided a 1 star rating for the company. As a potential customer I desired straight forth, honest responses and respect of my time.

After a week of texting set appointment to go look at new vechicle ( Tundra ) . Drove over an hour to have the worst experience ever , the sales guy acted like they could care less if I bought from them or not . But would like to thank them though , because I left out and drove to Greer and bought a new Tundra from the dealership there .
Had to stop by Toyota in Spartanburg. They found a had a nail in my tire which was able to be patched. My representative Chris Sheer had me back on the road in a heart beat. I didn t buy my RAV4 from Dave but I did buy new wheels got them installed and had my first service they are very caring compassionate staff brought my 130 lb mastiff with me they were so good to her brought her water made her feel comfy it was an awesome experience for both of us

Even though we used a 3rd party broker, this was without doubt the best car buying experience we have ever had. Notwithstanding the excellent deal we got both on our trade and new purchase, there was never any 'hard sell' tactics, no bait and switch and none of the usual mind games you tend to get with car dealers. It is evident from both our own experiences and reading other customer reviews that the Dave Edwards philosophy is based on professionalism, integrity and earning the trust of their customers. Tony Jackson our sales person was the complete antithesis of the stereotypical car salesman, quite outstanding and a joy to do business with. John David Ledbetter, the business manager, also deserves special mention. His job, besides the paperwork, is to sell additional products and services (he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't) but again, not once did we feel pressured. Moreover, John David also worked to get us a better finance deal than the advertised rates. It's very rare that we write reviews, and generally only if the service we have received is outstanding or abhorrent. In this case it's most definitely the former. Would have no hesitation in recommending Dave Edwards to anyone looking to purchase a car.

If you are considering Dave Edwards for service, I strongly urge you to reconsider. They have had numerous chances to deliver quality service, which I have rarely received. I own a 2014 4Runner Trail Premium.
Last week, I made an appointment for detailing and 25,000 mile service (tire rotation and inspection). I arrived yesterday at 7:40am and asked for the shuttle. I was informed that it had just left and would be back soon. After 35 minutes, it returned with breakfast for the employees! The shuttle is provided for CUSTOMERS, not errands for employees! I was 30 minutes late for work because the employees wanted breakfast.
They called around 3:30pm asking when I needed the car; I said 4:30. They said it won t be ready until 5 because it was just taken back to detail. Why ask when I need it, if you re going to tell me when it will be ready? They had the car ALL DAY and just took it to detail at 3:30? They allotted 8 hours to rotate the tires and 1.5 hours for the detail? Very poor time management! When I got the car, it was STILL DIRTY! There was pollen all over the hood. The exterior windshield was streaked, with vertical pollen marks where the wipers stop. The inside must have been washed with a dirty rag because it was dirtier than when I left it there. The driver s side window was dirty and spotted. There were horizontal streaks still on the passenger side mirror from the last rain. The inside was dusty enough to wipe my finger through and leave a mark. There were fingerprint smudges all over the passenger door, and the rear window wasn t clean. The exterior had dried water spots all over, many yellowed from pollen. For $187 I expect it to be SPOTLESS. I could have gotten a better wash at the Spinx drive through for $8. During checkout, the cashier asked the shuttle driver to go get her a milkshake.
This isn t the first time I ve received poor service either. I have run out of characters on this site. See my full review on DealerRater.

Excellence service. The staff is friendly, I chose an appt on a Saturday. Service was complete within 1.5 hrs. The snack bar had a nice breakfast smoothie, they also had free Panera bread bagels for all the customers and staff.

Mixed feelings about this place. I liked the salesman who sold me my Toyota Camry. I did not like the guy who finished up the sale. He seemed intimidating and rude. I almost backed out of the sale because of him and probably should have even though I love my car. I came to get my car serviced and it took over an hour and a half even with an appointment. I wouldn t really recommend this dealership.
I totaled my car last week and was so upset! I went to Toyota of Greenville upon a recommendation and found the perfect car, except when I went to purchase the car the sales manager was very rude with me. I had drove from Spartanburg to Greenville and had no way to bring the car home the same night and he was livid. He slammed the door in my face and I left crying, leaving my dream car behind. The next morning driving to work I thought "maybe this is Gods way of sending me something better". The next morning I picked up the phone and called Dave Edwards Toyota before they even opened and was transferred to Tony Jackson, he assured me I would never get that treatment there and promised to help get me the same deal or better. He GOT ME A MUCH BETTER DEAL, LOWER INTREST RATE, LOWER PAYMENTS, the same color car, with GPS navigation and lifetime powertrain warranty. He done everything over the phone for me and had the car moved to the front for me to rush over on lunch break and see. Within an hour he had everything ready for me to pick the car back up the car at 5pm. It was cleaned and filled with gas. He took all the extra time to sit in the car with me and download all the apps to my iPhone and show me how to work the car. When I got back at the dealership at 5pm the car was completely ready to go. I saw John David Ledbetter who was their financial rep. He was just as great. No force to purchase any extras and even applied a coupon for an extended warranty that I greatly wanted. No pressure at all. Very comfortable and I feel much better purchasing a new car from a Christian like company. I will forever be thankful for Dave Edwards Toyota and regret going anywhere else for a car in the beginning. If you are car shopping, this should be your first stop!! I highly recommend Mr. Jackson and Mr. Ledbetter. They are all very happy and pleasant people to work with.

Took car in that had warranty issue. Service people said it was the transmission not the torque converter. Said most experienced tech said he drove it and it would not be under warranty. They never gave me any reports as I requested. Took to another dealer and it was covered because it was the torque converter! Car runs perfect now. Unreal how that Edwards dealership runs a sham business trying sell you transmission you don t need! For Pete s sake it was under a warranty! They were going to get paid by Toyota! And on top of this blunder, left my hood unlatched and when I got on interstate I thought the hood was going to fly off! The safety latch is not designed for 70 mph! Had to pull in emergency lane and shut hood! I will never set foot on that dealership ever again! Nor will I buy or suggest anyone else to do business there! VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Everything went well except that the technician did not top off my windshield washer fluid with my oil change. I called this to the attention of the person who brought my car to me and he immediately found a gallon container and added half of it to my reservoir. Good save!
This place appears to care for you,,, unless you discover your new car is equipped with remote start but isn't supposed to have it. If you find your car has it and you call them to subscribe to that feature on your car's app, they'll turn it off for you and suggest you buy it, even tho they just need to literally flip a switch.
Took my Toyota in after I had my first service so messed up Bryan Easley. When I explained how bad my service was they reworked up my 1st service with no charge to me. I was so happy because I had to get it again but really could afford it. I bought it there and will always have my service there too. I drive from Marion, NC and well worth it.

We went in on 5/6/20 to turn in our lease, and get one of our vehicles serviced, and we were shocked that not one person in the dealership was practicing social distancing and/or wearing a mask. We were VERY uncomfortable (since my husband has underlying health conditions, we were both wearing masks & gloves), and had to request to everyone we came in contact with to please practice social-distancing! When we asked about this, one of the employees said because they all work together , they did not need to social distance! What about the customers?! We sat outside while we waited, so not to be exposed to anyone inside the building. We did see other customers in the service area wearing masks, but no employees. For a dealership that prides themselves in customer service, why are they so nonchalant about this pandemic? The whole reason it is spreading is because people are asymptomatic & spread it without realizing they have it. We were also told that Mr. Edwards, who is usually there at the dealership almost every day, has not been coming in lately . He doesn t come in, but his employees are all there working, unprotected, and apparently with no concern for the safety of his customers, either. We sincerely hope that for both the employees and the customers, Mr. Edwards will take this pandemic seriously and put better practices in place, so we can feel more secure about going there.
Mr Bill Ledbetter was very courteous and pleasant to my wife and I during our initial visit to purchase a used 4Runner. We had some external issues beyond his control and his professionalism in handling this experience was amazing. Not only did he go above the call of duty but he made what could have been a stressful situation into a pleasant buying experience! His through knowledge really shows on the newer vehicles. Actually, so much so, we went back the next week and bought a new Tacoma as well. Great job Mr Ledbetter!

I am new to this side of town and had already once been to Toyota of Spartanburg for oil change, wiper blades, airs filter and tire rotation. Everything went well so I decided I would go back. I saw a deal on Toyota of greers website stating 'buy 3 tires get 1 free' and saw Toyota of Spartanburg has 'price match guarantee' so I did my due deligence and called the service dept who assured me that they would price match this for me. And When I went in they said they wouldn't. Total waste of time, I will just go to the greer location and spend $700+ And will continue to give my money to the Greer location for other service needs.

Lent my van out and a deer ran out in front of the driver and snap my van was wrecked the collision center tried their best to repair my van but unforseen damage caused the van to be totaled , the team at Dave Edwards is one of the best ones I've seen and I will go to them anytime
