Three years ago, I came in and purchased a RAV4. I had such a great experience that when my car was deemed a total loss I came back to Dave Edwards. I was in and out within 2.5 hours with a car I love. Thanks!
Bought a crv within two weeks an interior latch broke. I called they said it wasn t in the warranty and that i had the drivetrain warranty. That was a lie. I bought the silver warranty. I don t know if it would of covered it but either way it was a lie. When i fixed the latch I noticed the clips that held the panel on were broke. In other words someone had already been working on it. The paint on my rear hatch is peeling. I d imagine they used cheap paint to repair body before selling it. I bought the car for 14 after signing the papers getting a warranty and total loss it was 18. 4k$ and they wouldn t fix something 13 days after buying it. These are the con artists car dealers your grandma warned you about. If they ll lie they ll also cheat and steal.
I'll say, they've done several things throughout the years to infuriate me. I don't take my car to them for anything, except recalls. During a recent recall for my Toyota Solara, they kept my car overnight. Whoever fixed it vaped in it. Morons. I called. You better believe they couldn't have cared less. I would never buy a car from this dealership.

After driving it last night I can say I wasn t bored with the turbo! Scott Barnes was awesome. That s him in my car following me home yesterday. I am super busy with school & work & don t have time to mess around so when I went to the dealership I knew what I wanted & wanted to get in & out. Scott was knowledge & understanding of my needs. We kept each other laughing & I left feeling satisfied with my purchase. I definitely recommend this place, the staff were all very nice & accommodating. Since I have to drive a car at times I m glad I found one I can enjoy & a place to buy it from that made me fee like I bought a safe car from an honest place

Every time I come here, I wait for at least an hour. People come in with the same service after me and leave way before me?! This time has topped it. Been here for almost two hours.
Our salesman, Steve Addington, was so kind. I never felt pressured to buy at any point during our day (even though we did end up buying a great vehicle at an awesome price!) Steve even let my son borrow his iPad to watch something while we went through the car-buying process. It had been a long day for my kids and I was thankful that he took the time to see that. Steve and John David Ledbetter made the paperwork and payment process seamless for us. I was really impressed with our overall experience. Everyone was so nice at Dave Edwards!

Serviced my Camry at Dave Edwards , they get you in and out quickly, very detailed, knowledgeable staff. Dave walked through will I was there talked briefly with customers, you don't see that at other dealerships.
Has wifi, tables, power, and coffee while you wait. I have no problem working on my laptop from the well furnished waiting area. It is nice that I can still be productive while a wait for an oil change or a repair.

My recent car buying experience at Dave Edwards Toyota with Bill Ledbetter was the best ever. I hate buying a car but this experience was totally different. I received personalized attention to every question and a timely response. Even one week after purchasing car Mr. Ledbetter continues to answer and address all questions. Level of customer service/ communication has declined in service dept over last 6-8 months. Not certain of cause, have voiced concerns regarding several key issues on 3 separate occasions with little noted improvement. Thank goodness the workmanship of mechanic(s) has not declined!
I went to Dave Edwards Toyota to look for a new car after some very poor dealings with another area dealer. I never felt pressured by the sales staff and they were very attentive once I decided what I wanted. A very positive car buying experience.
Bought a brand new Highlander with bumper to bumper warranty. Fast forward a month+ and i get a flat tire. They want to charge me for a new tire, double the price of what that actual tire is worth. I can afford the tire even with their price but come on, give me a break. I spent 40k at your place a month ago and you can't even take care of a tire that's worth $250?? I'll never spend a dime in this dealership for the rest of this vehicles life. Of course i had to buy the tire but i paid someone else. Not this stealership.
Great Customer Service from Sales ,to the Service team. I have my vehicle serviced there regularly and am always pleased with the team. The last time I pulled in early before a work day, and was greeted by Chris Shear, Service Manager. I had my vehicle back in less than 30 minutes!! They greet you with a smile and offer you a bottle of water as you leave. Couldn't ask for more.

Wanted to charge me $1100 for a rear wheel bearing replacement, I got it done in town for $300.
To begin, the sales lady and business manager were solid. I enjoyed working with them on a touch and go deal. I feel like the price was fair but far from the best I could have done if I wanted to spend more time at dealers out of town. The closing finical transaction was as bad as I have ever seen. I honestly thought about walking out rather than signing. The pressure to sell the extended warranty and the $1k wax is really unbelievable. This guy was a real piece of work. He even went as far as offering me a discount on the interest rate (he called a coupon) to entice me to buy. All this peppered with comments about seats fading and transmission issues on a new car. I was and am still shocked. I would never recommend this dealer to anyone after this. I am not sure it s even ethical to offer rate discounts for such. I couldn t imagine sending my loved ones to such a pressured environment.
I received a recall notice for my Toyota Corolla. I made my appointment and was told it might take an hour, up to 90 minutes. I also got the message in the car on Saturdat about my oil change. The crew at Dave Edward's made the recall replacement and oil change in a little less than an hour. Also, the waiting area was set up for social distancing. It was also spotlessly clean.
After visiting several Toyota dealerships in the area, we were pleasantly surprised at the service we received at Dave Edwards Toyota. We were happy to discover a low pressure, friendly sales team. No one pushed us to make a decision we weren t comfortable with. And our choices in the financing and warranty phase were treated respectfully. Ben Yoo in sales and John David Ledbetter in financing went out of their way to make sure all our needs were met. We got an incredible deal on a newer model vehicle than we thought we d be able to afford! It was worth our time to drive to Spartanburg from Greenville.
Most dealers won t even look at a 1995 model but Tony has a guy that s not afraid and has the experience to fix my mid engine rear wheel drive two seated MR2. Huge Thanks!
Loved working with my salesman Ronald Ray. He answered all my questions and was very informative. When we finished the sale before I drove off he said if I had anymore questions to stop by anytime. I was amazed that the managers offered to let me drive home with the vehicle to get my husband's opinion. The entire staff was very helpful! It was a great way to start what is going to be a long term relationship.

If the car-buying universe could clone Tony Jackson & Dave Edwards Toyota buying an automobile would rank right up there with falling in love your first time, the best meal you've ever had, getting an A+ on a math test you didn't study for and putting on an old pair of jeans only to find they still fit -and- there's a crumpled 100 dollar bill in the front pocket. Yes, my experience with the dealership and especially Tony was THAT great.
I knew what I wanted but all my local dealers really didn't seem to care about my needs (they just kept telling me what they had in stock). And then I found Tony at Dave Edwards... Tony assured me he would get what I wanted and he did.
The negotiation was easy. I got my price and I got the exact 2018 4Runner I wanted.
Tony is easy-going, very quick to reply, informed, helpful and the absolute definition of "Professional".
Throughout the entire process he was extremely courteous, and it was easy to see his passion toward the Toyota brand.
My single least favorite part of any car buying experience is the finance guy... yeah you know, that guy that usually sits in a dark back office with bad clothing and an even worse haircut. I basically have always seen That Guy as the guy that exists to crank up your already agreed upon price (Tru-Coat~Fargo... all the magical elixirs that keep your new car bulletproof from rocks, chips, scratches and your niece -- who all of a sudden vomits up gummy bears on your brand spankin' new interior). Well I have to mention Monty at Dave Edwards too. He was great. He knew I wanted nothing extra and he never once even tried or attempted to push me toward getting any of it either. Plus, his office was bright and well lit, and his clothes, even his hair, were nice.
Our neighbor down here in Athens, Georgia thought we were nuts buying a vehicle from a dealership two hours away from us. When I arrived back home from Dave Edwards last Saturday with our brand new 4Runner that same neighbor walked over to take a look and ask questions... as he listened to me, my wife and our daughter talk about the entire purchasing experience with Tony you could see his skepticism fade off his face and turn into envy.
After giving him a tour of our new car he smiled while saying, "Well now I know why you drove up to Spartanburg, South Carolina! Looks like I'll be doing the same when it's new car time for me too."

Dave Edwards has an outstanding service department. The Service Advisor Mark Rea, and Techs Stan Ballenger and Jimmy Parker went above and beyond to service my SUV. They found things that needed attention that I didn't even know about and took care of my vehicle. They explain everything and do excellent work. You can have complete confidence that you are taking your vehicle to the absolutely best place possible.
So I went to the dealership today because I heard they have a 2020 Supra, I m more than capable of affording one I drive a 2018 STi now so about 5-6k less than a base Supra but I pulled up and was met by a young salesman and he asked if he could help me with anything to which I replied yeah heard you guys have a new Supra to which he replies yes we do and I said May I see it and he said Mr Edwards has asked that we only show it to people who can afford it I ve never felt so disrespected in my life. I immediately left. I didn t wanna sit in it, crank it up, or even touch the car. I just wanted to look at it. Because I m 2-3 years I will be looking to add one to my collection but looks like I will not be purchasing it from Dave Edwards Toyota.

I came in looking to trade my car and upgrade to something a little nicer. I HAVE NEVER BEEN SO OFFENDED IN MY LIFE! Not only did the dealership low ball the value of my trade in (insulting me really) but gave me a false price for the vehicle they had advertised for cheaper. Once I called them out on the price that was advertised the salesman clearly stated "Well we are here to make money". They are clearly not a dealer for the people! I would DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMEND THEM!!!

I bought a used Venza from this dealership about 1 1/2 years ago. I have had nothing but isssues with a certified Toyota. The door had damage that I ended up having to make 2 extra trips back to Spartanburg to have repaired. Now I find out my brakes and rotors need to be replaced. I ve owned my Camry for 13 years and never had to replace rotors and only had to replace the pads once. On top of all this, the tires are dry rotting?!? How does that even happen on a daily driver?
Finally, they did a great job cleaning the car, but 3 months later all the seat stains started coming back.
Completely unsatisfactory dealership who has shady business practices. I thought with a Toyota brand I wouldn t get cheap used car dealer tactics. If you want to buy a used Toyota I would recommend looking somewhere else.
