Took my SUV there to get serviced because I felt like my transmission fluid was low. Was told over the phone that came with a oil change. NOT THE CASE.. Got there and they wanted another 100.00 to do that. Was told I need a new drive belt. It would cost 150.00 I just had that replaced two weeks ago. Complained to the manager. He did not care. Bunch of Crooks!

I had an easy and fantastic experience trading in a Highlander and buying a used Volvo wagon I have been looking for. Matt, sales manager in used cars, made the negotiation easy. Derrick, my salesperson, was on the spot. Even had water or coke for me both times I showed up. He walked me through the Volvo quickly. And John David in finance was incredibly efficient. We called back in May, inquiring on a new Toyota. Immediately we were inundated with phone calls by a female employee, can't remember her name. So we told her exactly what we were looking for, and that to save time we'd like to do our application and email it back in. We were assured that was no problem and that they would go ahead and order the truck which would take several days to get in. We were looking for a basic truck, no frills. So we decided to go ahead and ride down there (over an hour from home) and make sure all of our paperwork was in order. When we got there, we told the first person that we saw why we were there. He immediately said the truck had arrived and insisted we take a test drive. Long story short, this was a clear bait and switch. Truck was two thousand more than the quote we received. But of course, we liked the truck so we bought it. Not to mention that we still had to sit through paperworks for over two hours. Since that time, my husband has noticed a knocking sound when you first start off sometimes. He drove it down there and they assured him it was just his hitch and nothing else. So when he got home, he took the hitch off and it still made the same sound. Got on Youtube and found out that quite a few people have had the same issue and can't get Toyota to fix it. So my husband started calling the dealership back, only to have someone tell him that the service manager would get right back with him. Two weeks later, we've never received a call. We had the same issue with the financial guy. We had questions on the warranty we bought, and could not get him to call us back. When my husband went to the dealership, he was assured that the guy got fired. Really disappointed with the care we've received at Dave Edwards. Amazing how many times they'll call you when you are a potential buyer, but afterwards, impossible to get a call back....Update, my husband spoke with the service manager this morning and he promised to make sure the problem was corrected the next time we bring the truck back down. Thank you.
We were pleased to find Bill Ledbetter present when we entered the sales office this week and were more thankful when he agreed to help us find the car we needed. Bill helped us locate a reliable comfortable car in 2013. Each time we had our car serviced with Dave Edwards Toyota we have been pleased because of their trustworthy work and service. So again Dave Edwards Toyota was our first choice and Bill Ledbetter was the person we needed again. We continue to drive our reliable 2011 Toyota, and since then we have purchased a second Toyota from Dave Edwards. We trusted Mr. Ledbetter to inform us and help us to remain within our budget. We now enjoy the comfort and room of our newest vehicle too and look forward to being satisfied customers for a third time.

Saleman was good, but the prepping and delivery of the car took WAY to long. Didn't like the way they pulled our credit and said that they only did it once when they did it 5 times. Service Dept is really good wish I could give them a 5 alone.
I've purchased 4 vehicles from them. They have always been respectful. Provide great service. The only one thing that absolutely don't care for is bashing fellow employee in front of customer's. The service desk...Really needs to work on that.
I received service today for my Toyota vehicle. My advisor Martyn Withnell was my best advisor I have ever had since coming to Dave Edwards I pulled in he came right to me as normally advisors wait for some reason to come to my car. He explained to me what I needed very clearly as if he really cared.

My first service visit was a good experience. I had no appointment yet did not have a very long wait. My service advisory kept me well informed and explained the recommended serviced thoroughly. I will be a repeat customer.
I walked into the dealership wanting to look at a few different options but had no intention of making a definite decision. I was promptly greeted by a sales manager who introduced me to my salesperson, Corinthia, I didn't speak with him after that, he wasn't helpful. Corinthia was very friendly from the beginning and if it weren't for her kindness and determination to make sure that I was satisfied, I would've gone somewhere else. After looking at three or four options, I had found the car I wanted to know more about and was introduced to a different sales manager, Farris. He was very helpful and was able to tackle any obstacle that we came across. I wanted some time to think about it since it is such a large purchase but as I was leaving, I just had this feeling that it was the right decision and was so grateful that Corinthia had made sure I understood all of my options and WASN'T pushy! I walked back and decided to go ahead and choose my car. I was expecting that it would arrive in just a few days since that was what I was told but it ended up taking about a week and a half. There was some confusion as to why there was a delay but ultimately it ended up having to do with the driver. During this time, Corinthia kept me updated and did all that she could to figure out why it was taking so long. She is the reason I stuck it out instead of going to another Toyota dealership. She genuinely cared about finding the best fit for me and making sure that I left happy. I am so grateful that I was able to deal with her and plan on having her assist me in any future purchases! She is the reason I would recommend this dealership.

I just purchased my third Corolla from Dave Edwards. I'd not planned on buying a new car at this time; due to an accident, found myself in need of a vehicle The salesman, William Ledbetter, treated me with respect and didn't try to pressure me into anything. I've always been pleased with the service and treatment I've received at Dave Edwards.
I went in for an oil change according to the little sticker they place on your windshield. No one greeted us when we got there. Waited at least 10 mins before anyone helped us. When someone finally did, he didn t bother to look up my info in the system or asked for my name. I told him I needed an oil change. He seriously peeked inside my car to see the mileage. My miles were set on Trip B. I had the lights on, so seeing the mileage was difficult during the day. This guy lied about my mileage. He had no clue what my mileage was. He was too lazy to look up my info. He told me all the info about changing oil every 10,000 miles, which I knew already. I stood there arguing with him that I NEED an oil change. He assured me that I didn t need an oil change just a tire rotation with an attitude like I was bothering him or something. He walks away after I said I didn t want what he was offering. I asked another lady to pull up my info and guess what, I NEED AN OIL CHANGE!!!!!!! He never apologized for his behavior. Very rude customer service! Honestly, I felt like he was a little racist.
Recommend them for everybody! Thank you to my salesman Bill Ledbetter and Roberto in management!! These People Prayed with us and helped us get a car that fit our needs and our situation. We did not feel pressured like at other places. The atmosphere there is very welcoming & honest. Also, God is definitely present there. These people honestly and genuinely care for and about their customers.
My 4Runner was bumped into while in a parking lot and the gentleman responsible left his contact info so he could pay for it. I received an estimate from the collision center and scheduled a date to drop off my car to be repaired. Dropped it off on Monday and it was ready to be picked up on Friday morning. All in all, smooth experience and no complaints!
I trust Dave Edward s for all of my maintenance/repairs on my car. I have been going there for 13 years. My only complaint is that I had a $50 off coupon to use if I spent more than $500. On that particular day, I spent $650. I could not find it on my email and they wouldn t honor it. I have had everything done to my car at the dealership since I bought it there, and that really upset me. You need to come up with a better way for customers to use coupons. They really help... Best experience ever buying a car. Caroline Butler, our sales person and John David the financial guy were both a pleasure to work with our pressure and no games. Both were knowledgeable about the car and the warranty. If we ever need to buy another car this is the place we will go. First time we have dealt with a female sales person . Caroline was sweet and knew her stuff.
My experience with this dealer was great, Endy my salesman went above and beyond to help me get in a car and kept everything real with damages since I was buying from out of state. Honesty went a long way.
UPDATE: Endy still great salesman but dealership overall a huge bust, I m updating this because it s been half a year and they ve failed to get plates for me and have the car registered, 6 months I ve been patient.. yes I ve been driving around with their expired temp tags telling officers that pull me over it s because of Covid every time like it s really not Dave edwards Toyota team.
I purchased a pre owned vehicle yesterday at Dave Edwards Toyota. By far, this was the best car buying experience I have had. Antonio was great- we test drove the vehicle, came to an agreement on price and was ready for the business office in under an hour. I appreciate his understanding my needs.
The people are nice for the most part, except for one of the younger guys who more or less implies that you're dumb. They left a oil catch bottle riding against the belt after doing an oil change. There is oil all under the front of the truck after the oil change which they said they would clean up when we brought it in and they didn't even attempt to clean it. After inspecting the brakes they started making a popping sound when in reverse but only when applying the brakes. Told them about it and they pretty much decided not to listen to that. So this was our experience with them over the past 24hrs and I wouldn't recommend them to work on someone's car, ever. If you take your car to them then best of luck to you and check out your car before you leave the parking lot.
Great service department, even though we did not purchase the car from Dave Edwards. Tony treated us part of the family. Quick and quality service. We will continue to bring both our Toyota vehicles to them.
About 15 minutes early for my appointment @1:00, then waited over two hours for an alignment (only, no other services). Saw people come in after me and leave while I was still waiting. Didn't complain . . . should have.
I dealt with Bill Ledbetter in the purchase of my new Tundra and then closed the deal with John Ledbetter in the business/finance department and I have NEVER been treated better during the purchase process. It was seamless, thorough and professional from start to finish and I was extremely happy with my experience. The service is alright here. I judge service by the people who are there not by what is given out for free. I went to get a simple oil change today. I was there at about 4pm. I was informed by a gentleman they stop accepting cars at 3pm. Informed him that the business hours shows they close at 7pm. Asked if they knew where I could get an oil change and was informed there are several places down the street. I've included a screen shot showing your business hours Dave Edwards. Have them corrected.
We booked online and when we showed up the place was closed. They need to fix the website to not let you make a appointment online if they are closed. So we went the next day and got oil change. When we pick up suv they had left the door cover off the filter box. Seems a little sloppy service.
I called at the last minute and they were able to fit me in ...my service was awesome and quick. The service personnel was very friendly and attentive.

Unfortunately I did not get the gentleman s name but last Thursday night I frantically (due to my Mom being transferred to hospice) walked in the dealership needing a battery for my key fob due to light coming on. I was from out of town and another person mentioned a parts place close I could get one. This gentleman ran to my car as I was leaving and said I will take care of it for you. Thank you for being my angel that night as my Mom passed early Saturday morning. I sure hope this post finds you and my gratitude for your compassion and going the extra mile!

Is Michael Rogers eligible for adoption??? He was so kind, patient, and knowledgeable about everything! Never have we had such a caring salesperson---we felt like we were old friends when it came time to sign the papers. Also, Vince Millines could not have done a better job at explaining all the various package options, and in filling out the paper work. There was also a nice young man who brought us water, which we appreciated. Finally, we enjoyed viewing the nature photographs taken by Mr. Edwards, narrated by Vince. Our ride home was very enjoyable in our new Sequoia, and my husband and I look forward to doing business again with Michael, Vince, and Dave Edwards Toyota.
We were told we would get paper copies of everything we signed. We did not. We were told we were getting a Manager's special, but the markdown was from a price higher than KBB retail. A false savings. We were told they would work something out to meet us halfway on the price we needed, so they removed the certification instead of giving up $500 on the cost. They offered an offensive $500 on our trade in. They agreed to increase to $650, but did not do so on the contract. When told we did not need financing, they said the only way to get their special pricing was to finance with them...and their APR was twice as high as what we already had. Then the business manager had the nerve to ask us to keep it for 6 months. We had to wait a long time to see the finance person. When I told him I know they have a 40-50% mark up on their warranties, he s was correct and told me that he took $500 off the price and was going to take another 500 off and charge us only $100 over their price. Then he just played around with numbers to get the payment amount to the place I wanted it and ended up charging $2,500, which is full price for the warranty. When I called him on it, he told me their price is $1,943. Even that, I do not believe was true. But the math was way wrong if they get 40 or 50% off. He seemed to think I was too stupid to figure that out. Additionally, he was not interested in his customer at all, but kept talking about how he bought his wife a new Toyota Sequoia for her birthday, how great his children were, about the new restaurant he just opened. In fact, he didn't even have a Toyota business card, but instead gave us business cards for his new restaurant. He also let us know that he couldn't get any better deal for us, yet he said he was embarrassed to say that when he was selling Vehicles there he was making $25,000 a month on some months. He said he just made so much money doing that. The car we got is beautiful. I hoped I would find something special at this dealership because of their reputation. Unfortunately, what I found is that they play the same deceptive sales games as any other dealer. On that front they are no better than a shady buy here-pay here lot on any corner USA. So disappointed.
I went to 3 different Toyota dealerships in SC looking for a car. This one was by far the BEST dealership I ever went to! They were so nice, they didn t push me to buy a car like most! After a grueling day at work and a very long trip home to pick up my wife, I had psyched myself to do battle with yet another car salesman. To my surprise, I dealt with the most pleasant, kind and concerned salesperson I have ever met. Every single one of my questions were answered honestly and without hesitation. I never once felt any anxiety or remorse during my purchasing visit. While waiting on financing, I toured most of Dave Edwards Toyota escorted by the salesperson. These people have pride in what they do and it shows throughout the facility. All areas were clean, organised and very pleasant to the eye. Even the shop floor was immaculate! In my opinion, if you have never dealt with Dave Edwards Toyota dealership, you are missing out on the best car buying experience you will ever have! Kudos to Tim McCormick, you were a blessing to me and my wife during our time spent with you purchasing our Camry.
