Took in RAV4 for windshield wiper motor recall. Very friendly when called. Spoke with Kristen. She was accommodating of my schedule. All went well but they also noted recall on safety belt and fixed that as well.
All great but when picked up noted child car seat moved and not put back. I had to make trip to fire station to have put back. They would not do due to Covid. Had to make second trip to dealership to have seat put back. Next day had two lights to come on my display panel and thank goodness Kristen was there and knew exactly what to do.
Overall I was pleased and sartisfied. Everyone should know and do their job like Kristen. Knowledgeable and courteous. Thanks.
Let me start by saying I don't ever write reviews, but after my experience at Dave Edwards I felt compelled. I have purchased 5 new cars at various dealers in Florida. My experience here was by far my best. The sales staff exceeded all expectations, they went above and beyond what they said they would do. The facility is immaculate. I have a 2016 Rav4 and the Power back door stopped working. We found out from Toyota that the cause sounded like a recall they had on this model. We live in NC and were going to go to a North Carolina dealership but they couldn't get to us until 2 weeks so we called Dave Edwards Toyota (DET) and told them the details of what was wrong and they said they could do it that day so we made the appointment. They said it would take an hour or just over. It took me and hour to drive there from where I live. They took the car back and I waited. An hour later the guy comes in and says they don't have the part to fix the car and they are going to give me a loaner and I could come back the next day which I really wasn't available the next day for all that and is why we went there because they said they could do it. It was a whirlwind at this point signing the loaner agreement and all, but it just kept nagging at me. Finally I asked why it took an hour to find this out. He said they had to get in to see what the problem was... but wait wasn't this a recall wouldn't you know what was needed for a recall? He then started making all kinds of excuses and deflecting blame to everyone else from the service guys to the girls who answer the phones to my wife even.Yes he blamed my wife. He stated that they didn't realize that the door had stopped working, but I said my wife called and explained this, he then said with a very smug, smirking face "I was the one who took her call and she didn't mention it" BULL FING SH**. The whole reason we called them was because our power back door had stopped working and there was a recall for this specific problem. I didn't take the loaner and took my car home we now have an appointment with the other dealership in two weeks. I guess it goes to show the one is backed up for two weeks for a reason while DET is wide open supposedly. Oh yeah and the NC dealership knows the part already and will have it ready.
Salesman JB Brown was knowledgeable about the products that were of interest to me. Never tried to pressure or rush me. He allowed me to auto shop at my own pace.
Sales manager, Mr. Ferris, gave support to JB and both were very conscientious during this time of pandemic.
I could not be happier with either of these gentlemen and the stellar assistance they provided. I will definitely be back.
customer service was very friendly, they treated me with respect and on time service ,they even gave me a nice cold bottle water before leaving thanks alot , i bought multiple cars from them and very happy with service.

These guys are legit. 5-star, personable, thorough service. Highly knowledgeable techs who fix it right the first time. Very comfortable waiting area, but I almost wouldn't know that -- last time they had me out in less than 15 minutes. May not always be the norm, but they got it going on. I don't usually even consider taking my vehicle to the dealership, but if I needed something done I would definitely think of these folks again.

I was awestruck by how caring and professional the staff is. They seemed like having a great time and loved their job. What a pleasant experience. Bought a 2018 sienna and it was in the shop multiple times the first month... The last time for over a week. Throttle and other parts had to be replaced that another dealer found out since Dave Edward's didn't bother running the codes for check engine and I got stranded. The paint job on the car is horrible. You can tell it has been in some form of a wreck but not on carfax. Tailgate is pushed over to the right. Wish we had looked at the car more closely when we bought it. We had to drop it off for two days also since whoever buffed it left major swirls in the paint and it all had to be redone. The list goes on. I feel Dave Edward's sold me a lemon and didn't care at all. I will never refer them or shop there again. Only care about $$$
After purchasing four new vehicles from them in the past, I went to purchase my fifth car (my first used vehicle). I was called on a Saturday after submitting a web inquiry about the vehicle, and was invited to come in that day to test drive. I arrived around 4pm and was told "we should have called you back to tell you the vehicle isn't ready to be shown yet." The salesman, Elmur, called me Monday morning and told me the vehicle would be ready to see that afternoon, and that 2pm would be a good time to come in. I went back in, and when I arrived, he told me the vehicle was still not ready to be seen because "it was a mess inside." When I asked Elmur if he could go over the specs and features of the car with me, his response was "I don't know anything about it." (So then why on God's green Earth are you trying to sell this car to me?!) After speaking with a sales manager, he brought the vehicle around. Yes, it was a mess inside, but he assured me they would get all the stains out because they were sending it to a professional detail place that they used "all the time." With that promise, and liking everything else about the vehicle, we proceeded to negotiate and run our credit for financing. We worked out a deal, and were told the car would be ready by the end of the week. Wednesday, the finance manger called and confirmed the vehicle would be ready on Friday afternoon. Thursday, Elmur the salesman, called and said "we can't sell you the car because we can't get the stains out." So, after PROMISING they could clean everything up, RUNNING OUR CREDIT, and putting us through the ringer for a week, we are left without our car. I spoke with a manger today about our experience, and he said "I guess we dropped the ball on this one." That doesn't fix our problem. They have lost our business going forward, and I will discourage anyone I know from going there to even consider a car. Shame on you, Dave Edwards Toyota, for treating your customers like they don't matter.

I was disappointed in the service received when I got an oil change. There was nothing in the service that made me excited to buy another Toyota. I am not one who needs to be gushed over for service but complete indifference spoke volumes to how customers are treated.

By chance we happened to meet Mr. Edwards and he was very courteous and friendly and told about the big renovation he had made to his building and operations( enjoyed our visit very much) I have been in many car dealerships in my life and found Dave Edwards Toyota to be as beautiful as any I have ever been in. They are always courteous and quick. They sit down and explain everything point by point so you know exactly what they have done and how your warranty took care of certain parts of your service visit. They are also really fast. I know I'm not gonna be waiting all day for them to do what they have to do!

I always get a price from 4 dealers, and Dave Edwards had the best price the last 3 times, so I was happy to buy our last 3 Toyotas from them. This time however, not only did they give me the lowest price on my trade, they also had the highest price on the car. I had the NADA trade info and they came back with KBB, which is not used by dealers. They also told me that the price was good for that day only, which is poor business practice. The kicker is they said that they would beat any price by $1000, and then had the worst possible deal.
Endy Gamboa was an amazing help. He was patient with me in choosing the car I wanted and was right for my family. That's no small feat, I'm a very indecisive person. He was knowledgeable about every question I had. I would highly recommend Dave Edwards Toyota and especially Endy!

My husband and I showed up close to closing time last Saturday, not realizing earlier on that the dealership was closed on Sunday. Antonio Smith was very gracious and spent the next few hours after the dealership had closed helping us purchase our car. We appreciated his help, along with the help of Mr. Ledbetter (sp?), the financial manager, who was also very patient and helpful. We ll definitely be back to purchase more cars here in the future!!
If I could give zero stars, I would. I work in sales- I have a degree in accounting & Business. I know how sales work, how the numbers should be crunched, and ethical standards a company SHOULD withhold. I have had the same car for some time as a graduate present from my parents, I was venturing into upgrading for an SUV. Yes, this was my first time buying a car on my own. However, let me say I have met with 2 advisors as well as done ALOT of homework. When I looked online at this certain vehicle, the price was marked as 15,812. When I got there, the price said market value $20,000 Price: $16,470 Our salesman then proceeded to tell us the car had been marked down because it hadn t sold since Christmas. So he was not doing me a specific favor, this car price had been lowered in general because the car had not sold. It also did not help that the car report was from flordia meaning I was nervous about saltwater and flooding having rust on the car- which I was told the car went through inspection. When we went into Dave Edwards to look at numbers more specifically, they gave me a low ball offer on my vehicle for trade in. They explained to me the reason why, was because they had already discounted so much with the car that he could offer me higher for mine, but the discount for the car would go up. Excuse me? How does the price of the car which you claim to have lowered the price of because of it not selling have anything to do with the value of my vehicle?! To add onto the unprofessional environment, our salesman then told us if he didn t make a sell, he doesn t get paid to take care of his family. Glad to know as a potential buyer, the only reason you are trying to get me to purchase is because you want commission, not to sell me something that I will be happy investing in.
I will NEVER EVER EVER be back here. The environment was extremely unprofessional and working in sales- I believe you should honor what you say and not throw around numbers trying to corner people making them think they re getting a deal when they aren t. The biggest waste of my time.

I flew from texas to buy a 2014 camry. It is not easy to go so far having the doubt in mind what if things don't go right. I got picked up from the airport by the dealership shuttle. Once I was there, it didn't took me long to realize I had just made the perfect choice by flying all the was to SC to buy a car and saving thousands. I was out of the dealership in less then 2 hours. The one thing that I really loved about Tony was his honesty. I hate it when sales personnel play tricks and games and Tony made me feel very comfortable. Since day one, I had asked him to be upfront about the cost and everything so we both don't waste each others time and he did not disappoint. I love my new car and already planning on buying one for my brother shortly. I would definitely go back to Dave Edwards for having such a wonderful team to help with the process. Cant thank Tony enough. Felt like I hit a jackpot once I left the dealership and thats a feeling every new car owner should feel. Its not just about the car, but the cost and buying process and thanks to Tony, mine was fantastic.

Bill Ledbetter in used car sales is an excellent businessman, operating honestly and demonstrating caring for his customers. I have already purchased two vehicle vehicles from him over the years and would go to him for my next vehicle. The service department is excellent as well. Tony, the service writer I dealt with on my recent visit went above and beyond the expectations or someone in his position. He looked for discounts for me on the parts needed and try to help me with my phone and Bluetooth issues.

My first visit to DET. Went in to have my brakes checked before I went to the beach. They said they would check brakes and fluids and top off anything if needed. They were very nice. Said it was not time for brakes. The next morning before we left husband checked under hood and saw the coolant was very low. Disappointed that they did not follow through with what they said.
Eddie Irvin provided excellent customer service. He was very patient with all our vehicle questions. He had a thorough knowledge of the vehicles we considered. I believe he listened to what I really wanted in a car and worked hard on the deal to get us a good package. I will definitely remember his name for future car purchases.
