My wife and I ordered furniture at the beginning of September, the sales rep told us it would be delivered at most mid October for our dinning set and early November for our sectional. We called multiple times in October and they were giving us different answers saying end of October, early November then again end of October and then mid November for our dinning set. Our sectional order was suppose to be delivered beginning of November, then mid November, then early and mid December, now until end of January!!! Never once got a call or email from Darvin saying our furniture delivery date has changed. When I asked the lady in the order status department why they don t contact or send an email that our delivery window has changed she said they can t do anything about that and if we would like we can cancel our order. Pretty much saying deal with it or cancel. We ended up canceling our dining set because of her and got a similar one from Costco and it got delivered under a Week! We re still waiting for our sectional but after seeing the same sectional is available at Costco for the same price ready to be delivered in a couple days we might just bite the bullet and pay it outright. The only reason we kept waiting was because of the no interest finance offer. But after countless number of calls, leaving voicemails that never get back to us and horrible experiences with customer service who just only offer us to cancel. We might just take their advice and cancel the rest of our and get our stuff from Costco. If you re going to buy something from Darvin have the sales rep show you on their computer of the delivery date before you sign and pay! We feel like he straight just lied to us.

I was exceedingly pleased with the level of service from Rose Cotton, and the quality of the Amish (Daniel) Cottage Collection bedroom furniture. Fair pricing for high-quality furniture. I will definitely purchase from them again should the need for furniture arise. I urge you to request Rose Cotton she s wonderful!

It was my first time shopping at Darvin the experience was great. Darvin had exactly what I was looking for. I visited your Orland Park store on Saturday picked out what I wanted and went back on Monday to close the deal.

When I walked in Darvins Store, I met Stella. Stella has provided me with EXCELLENT Service on more than one occasion. She is a Great Asset to the store and me!

Very knowledgeable and accompanying. Listens to what you are really looking for and leads you in the proper direction.

Kevin Ball was the best salesperson I've had EVER. I asked a question and he gave me straight answers. Can't ask for better help than that.

This review is specifically about Phil C. He is the only furniture salesman I have worked with in 7 years. He is down to earth, listens to exactly what you want and does his best to make your experience a positive one.

If you go to Darvin, ask for Phil C. You won't regret it one bit.

Fantastic experience. Once I walked in, I was quickly greeted by an associate. I was looking for a mattress and she quickly connected me to Vivian in the mattress department. I told her exactly what I wanted and was quickly taken to the Beautyrest section. She was very knowledgeable and easy to work with. Also, I was able to work on the final price and made a deal. I see other people complaining about warranties. Darvin s warranty is exactly what the industry uses, if not, it s better. Also, they go over all the information before you make your purchase. Ill be back to shop some more soon.

It was very good to get what I like and very happy to work with Kathy she helped me find what I like.

DF&M have just about every mattress you can think of with a price for every budget.

Salespersons are personable and attentive. Shukri Maali helped us find exactly what we needed.

My review is not a good one. Darvin failed this customer is multiple ways.

Darvin s website says you have to make an appointment If you want to come in to see the showroom. I did, no return call until after my requested appointment date and time - and then I was told an appointment was not necessary.

I had to call to see if the dining room table and chairs I wanted to purchase were available for pickup. I could only leave a message - no one to speak with and the website was no help.

I advised the employee that eventually called me back that this has been a very difficult purchase and I was disappointed in the lack of Darvins response time and customer service. She apologized and said she would pass my comments on to management. That was 4 days ago. A manager has NOT called to speak to me about my experience.

I know there is a pandemic going on.....but this is no excuse for a lack of customer service or return phone calls. My experience with Darvin was NOT a good one. I have been left to feel like my money was all they were after, and not the experience.

On a positive note - everyone I spoke with was kind....just not responsive or concerned about my experience in the slightest.

I give Darvin an F- in customer service.

I ordered furniture from Darvin in Orland Park on Aug. 18. I was told some of my furniture would be delivered in Sept., the remaining furniture would be end of October. I received my arm chairs and buffet in Sept.. October came and went, no living room furniture. Called, was told Dec, maybe Feb. long delays because of Covid. I m understanding. Received my bill for furniture that I did receive and the bill is for $500 more than it should be. Called, was given the run around. Called a second time, was told they would pull my original contact and call me back. I ve never received a call back and I ve called two other times to correct a billing error. I ve filed a dispute with the finance company, waiting to hear on that. Darvin is the worst retailer to work with ever. They re customer service doesn t exist. I won t do business with them going forward.

Thomas was great in helping me find the couch I had seen, sat on, and fell in love with PRIOR to COVID 19. I moved in March 3 and have been without any furniture since, except foldable lawn chairs. Very excited to receive my new purchase next week. Thanks Darvin Team

I only give one star because shopping there was fine. The issue came with the delivery (that I paid for). The two men came to move a couch in, before even getting it out of the truck they said no way it will fit. I told them I had been able to get six couches with my boyfriend out from the space where the new couch was going. They then "attempted" once and said see it doesn't fit. They tried the same way as the first, but this was just so they could get a picture to prove it didn't fit. They kept telling me that if they tried, and ruin the furniture that they would have to pay for it themselves, and they didn't need a new couch. I called that day after my boyfriend and i fit the couches in our house. They told me the manager would call back. My boyfriend called 3 days later, they said the manager would call him back. It has now been 2 weeks, and no call. I will never shop here again. They clearly only care about selling the product and not about costumer service.

I was in with my aunt to order her a mattress over the weekend. Called back to order a chair yesterday. J Witt was great with helping me do this over the phone so I didn't have to make another trip in. He is going to make sure they can both get delivered together once my Aunt moves. They said they would hold it until we are ready because we don't have an exact date yet.

There is a large selection of decent, affordable furniture. Constant sales. We have purchased a few things and they have worked out just fine. Today, we came in for bunk beds. We were greeted by a sales person upon entering the store and we picked out beds right away. Then, we had to sit for a long time while the salesperson went to enter the information and get a final price. It took so long that I got bored and went upstairs to look at the outlet center. I found a bunk bed of decent quality at half the price and bought that instead. Had I not been waiting so long, the salesperson would have had a bigger sale! The total experience was 1.5 hours and 1 hour of it was total time waiting on the salesperson to get quote and run paperwork. Make sure you have time when you go but it might be worth the wait for a good deal.

Darvin is thee best. I have made a few different purchases there. The furniture is great quality and the customer service is always amazing. Darvin is my go to over any other furniture store and they always have great sales.

Met with salesman Pete. Showed us what we were interested in immediately. Didn t have to navigate the whole store. Made a purchase, quick and easy. Furniture was delivered a couple days later. And it looks great!

I served in the U.S Military for over 25 years and traveled all over the world....And I must say Darvin is the BEST Furniture store with outstanding customers service and friendly workers always there to help.

Ordered furniture in August and was told due to pandemic would take 9 weeks for delivery. Today was 9 weeks, I called to check on status of furniture and now told another two months at end of December! My receipt says expected delivery first week of November. And I had to call Darvin, No One called me to tell me of delay. Darvin had no problem taking my money back in August. If I was told this upfront I could have ordered from another furniture company! I have already given some of my older furniture away believing my new furniture would be delivered any day now!

Huge huge huge floor room. Their furniture is great quality. If you are loving their stuff but just maybe don t have quite enough money today, ask to see their clearance section upstairs. You can find some great selections from that section too. Our salesman was very nice and had a great sense of humor. He made our time there very fun actually. My parents have bought furniture here for years and now I found my new place to shop every time no doubt!

I spent a couple hours with Debra McElroy in the purchase of a sectional sofa. She exhibited professionalism and knowledge in the different companies to purchase from in my price range. We appreciated her patience as I must have sat in at least a dozen sectionals. We also had to be precise in the configuration of the sofa. The second time I had to choose fabric and an area rug which also took a couple of hours. I feel I received great service and knowledge in my selection.

Online ordering was simple enough. I just wish there was a way to schedule delivery at the time of order.

Huge selection salesman met us at the door and walked around the whole store I felt that we were being pushed a little bit more towards the expensive stuff which makes me think of a Salesman work off of a commission but in the end we found a nice power sectional upstairs in the clearance section it is scheduled to be delivered Saturday so have not yet had the full experience but feel confident in our decision

Good products but the store was packed with not enough sales people. It took 2.5 hours to complete a sale.

Our sales rep Mario was fantastic! He listened to what we were looking for and found two perfect sets for our living room and family room. He was very patient with us. If your looking for a no pressure sale ask for Mario!

Jay was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to the construction and wear and tear of the couches I was looking to buy. Didn t even flinch when I started carrying around cushions to coordinate my couch color with other furniture. Great place to shop - awesome selection

Ron was a big help in deciding which couch and love seat to buy. Showed us multiple options and color choices to choose from. Ron was very polite, helpful and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. Not to mention the outstanding selection to choose from that Darvin offers. If you need any home furnishings anytime soon, come check out Darvin and speak to Ron as you won't be disappointed.

Our Salesperson was very helpful in helping with our table & chairs & carpet square purchased. He acted in a very professional manner & reflected highly on Darwin s excellent customer service. Decided to go in to buy our two couches (one sofa, one sectional) the Saturday before Labor Day. We were able to get Corey Mullins as our sales guy, and he was awesome. We were able to get everything taken care of in minutes. Highly reccomend Corey as a sales guy & Darvin over all. I was expecting the process to be a pain in the butt due to this holiday weekend, but they made it quick and easy. Can't wait to get our furniture.

I love shopping at Darvin. We have purchased quality furniture from the store the staff is extremely nice and friendly. Note that you can get in a lot of trouble in here! I always see something I like.

Darvin is humungous and very busy. I was in the store a good 30 minutes before I was asked if I needed help. After that, I purchased a dinette set, two twin beds. The sales person was helpful and their delivery charge is very reasonable. I'm considering going back for a sofa which, for now, won't add any further changes for delivery.

I had great experience buying furniture at the Orland Park location. Lisa was my sales lady again and like always she is friendly, funny and professional. I will always ask for her. Also the quality of my Mattress is superb.

Due to Covid, I called the store in Orland Park directly after receiving a Black Friday sales ad. The sales lady made my purchase extremely easy! She was super helpful with all of my questions, got my order placed and delivery date set all in one call. After a terrible experience with a previous company this year, I had asked friends in my area for recs. Darvin did not disappoint! Great experience!

Will not go back!! Salesman filled me around. I finally picked an item that was on sale. Salesman terms me that he has to confirm the same price with his manager. He then tells me that the item will not be delivered for 6-8 weeks. Maybe. I recommend looking in another store for quality products and better salesman

I purchased 2 rooms of furniture from Darvin. My first order was delivered. My second order I ordered in JUNE! I have yet to receive it. I have only received half of the room. In June I was told I would receive it in July. In July I was told I would receive it in August. In August I was told I would receive it early September. In September I was told late October. In the beginning of October I was told it would be there in 2 weeks. Here we are two weeks later and I m being told not until November. Today I spoke to a manager named Jacqueline. She kept saying she was sorry and it s out of their control. I ve been waiting 4 months for a sofa. 4 months! I just furnished my entire new house. I purchased furniture from Ashley, Darvin, and Bobs. All the other companies have delivered. Yet, I m still waiting for Darvin. I asked Jacqueline if Darvin was compensating their customers in any way or providing any further discount and she said no. She told me because I made a purchase from the clearance and outlet center there was no wiggle room. Which makes me feel like I m being discriminated against because I didn t purchase from one of the main showrooms. Would I have been given a discount if my furniture came from those rooms? Who knows. Either way 4 months is ridiculous. I asked to return all my merchandise and she told me no. So I m bound to keep furniture that I don t want? Darvin can t even deliver in a timely manner. Pandemic? Ok fine. 2 months max should be the turn around time. Darvin is at the mercy of the manufacture company? Ok find a manufacturer who can DELIVER! This is unacceptable and I will never recommend this place or purchase from here again.

I brought a $4000 leather sectional 2 years later color fading cheap furniturn

We worked with Diana and she really listened to our needs and didn't try to oversell or draw out the experience.

Today i was first time in this store nice place, nice furniture, i bought a coffee table when i open the box to assembly i have a little surprise my table was used or open box not sure ( will attach pictures) but i pay for new one, really disappointed, be careful if you decide to shop there. After They respond here i get a call from them, they sad that is a mistake and want come and change it, then we agreed to leave this one for 75$ refound.

A great place to get ideas for decorating and getting a look for any room. Great prices too!

Great sales representative and very detail about placing your order due, to the COVID 19 some items are on back order which is understandably.

Prices are reasonable compared to Ashley furniture and the service is good not to overbearing like some sales people can be in the furniture industry. Love the clearance section upstairs and I always find a great deal on last year's model.

Hands down for the price and quality of the furniture. I only gave the store 3 stars because the customer service rep (literally) had to hunt down a sales rep to help me. The first rep I encountered literally pointed me that way towards furniture he figured I was looking for, then he walked off. Then an African American sales lady literally rolled her eyes at me while the CSR was trying to find a sales person for me and had the audacity to ask the CSR if she can just take her customer instead of trying to find help for me. ....however the CSR kept trying to find someone for me and I really appreciated that! I ended up getting helped by Christine and she was AMAZING!

It was great. Debbie was able to show us a few different options. She was patient & listened. Downstairs, when applying for a Darvin card, the dark skinned woman was kind & helpful.
