This is the WORST place I have ever shopped! Teenage staff with very bad attitudes. Not one person approached me to ask if I needed any help. Asked what looked as a senior member of staff for some help to which he responded 'I will get someone for you' and walked off talking to another member of staff, walking around the shop floor.
After another 5 to 10 minutes a teenage boy was sent to help me and did not know what exactly it was I wanted. Again, he walked off without informing me of where he was going or what he was doing. Another 10 minutes later he appears carrying the hoover I wanted and just told me to follow him to the front counter.
I also wanted a microwave that needed to be ordered and the lady behind the counter was only interested in trying to get me to buy some extra protection offered by Currys. She finally gave in, put my hoover through and asked for payment. I had to tell her that I still wanted my microwave. She placed an order on her system but could not tell me when my microwave would be ready for collection.
It has been over a week now and when I call Currys to ask where my Microwave is, they keep saying it 'should' be in the next delivery but can't guarantee it!!!
Worst experience of customer service I have ever had, hence my bad review!!!
1st laptop bought scratched, then found to be faulty, my son couldn't have a replacement until after he started 6th form. Staff however, did their best and should be commended. its the product they are selling which is at fault not Currys
trying to contact my local pc world- complete waste of time. i want to speak to somebody in store NOT some halfwit in a call-centre who has no answer to my question because he is NOT in store.
Advisor helped white well, didn't know everything but was polite and friendly
Joke of a place. I'm in IT, so know what I need. On buying a new laptop. Salesman wasted my time trying to sell a warranty that wasn't worth it and didn't want me to leave till he had set it up and tried to charge extra after I told him I didn't need it.
Very easy, ordered a product and picked it up an hour later, shop assistants were lovely and had a laugh with me. Made sure I had the right product and I was on my way!
I can't stand this place rubbish service everyone I visit left standing around for ages waiting for someone
The assistant was very helpful with information on a laser printer
worst customer service u can experience. word of advice buy in store. A Bunch of misinformed idoits. Wasted a fortune by being feed wrong information by clueless staff.
Picked up a fantastic laptop and so traded the old one!
Reserved item online but was told we couldn't have it because their stock control system had allocated the last one in the shop which was the display model. Then refused to offer a similar alternative because we had reserved a discounted item and so they wouldn't honour price. Refused to deliver item when it came in stock, expecting us to make a third 50+ mile round trip because of their error. Staff discussed problem with manager who refused to see us face to face. Appalling service and very rude. Suspect this may have been deliberate to get us into store then sell a more expensive item as this was the second Currys PC World in a row to advertise this deal and then not honour it. Only positive, we eventually bought a better item from a direct competitor at a cheaper price.
Found exactly what we were after in replacing our old fridge freezer
Went purchase a laptop for my son. Sales assistant was excellent/outstanding, so helpful. They had none in stock but had just received a delivery. Told they would be in contact within 48 hrs and everything would be installed. After 96 hrs heard nothing so sent hours on the phone trying to find out what was going on. Shame after sales service is rubbish. Have laptop now after 120 hrs.
Worse customer service ive ever received stuff on display that's out of stock. 3 staff just standing there chatting not a serving the 1m rule
Great shop for all electrical goods for around the house....staff are friendly and great customer service....you can even get your Gadgets repaired here....
Good selection. Loads of staff but far too busy chatting to each other to help customers.
Lots of products but poorly run, queues are often long and staff are chatting to eachother, even when it's very busy.
Didn't have what I wanted instock. Staff not very knowledgeable
Good selection of kit. Good pricea, helpful staff. Was waiting at click and collect queue for 10m and they added more staff to clear the queue. Shows they were keeping an eye on it.
Click and collect very good service Deffiently keep this service
I'm have given three stars for one reason only. This store is busy, but there isn't enough people on the till to serve customers. Because of the information gathering at the till, this takes some time, which has an impact on the length of the queue at the till and the customers wait time. We queued for 23 minutes to buy one item. The amount of information that is required at the till simply to purchase a pair of headphones is unbelievable. You need to give your name and address. You are also asked if you would like warranty.....again, taking added time at the till. This really does need to be addressed.
Great shop for electronics friendly staff and great products but i aint been in here for 2 years
Such an improved service. Fantastic customer service he explained everything about the tablet we purchased forour granddaughter
Josh in TV is knowledgeable and not pushy. Great work
Ben took time to help advise about change of phone for son ..... will be returning to purchase
Reasonably easy click and collect. You still have to wait a good 20 minutes either in the general queue or waiting for someone to collect item. It is quicker with Amazon Prime even paying the premium.
Probably the best place in Milton Keynes to buy a TV. Hugh choice, helpful staff and low prices.
A lot of staff around, but never seem to be available when you need them.
Great service, printer did not work when got it home, the exchanged it the same day.
Went to the Carphone Warehouse in here friendly staff lots of good deals
Helpful staff and quick service. Parking is a bit of a nightmare at rush hour times
Great customer service. Very informative on product range, choice. Not pushing you into spending more money. Only downfall is when you have to wait to collect your item. We waited about 40 mins to collect. Up unit then, it would have been 5 stars all the way!! Sort the collection desk out, you've got a great all round Currys dept which is hard to find in Bedfordshire.
Terrible service and missold a tv as per trading standards. I bought a tv which was discounted got home and in the box was just a screen amd the wrong feet. No instructions, remote control, screws, power connection. No where on the box did it mention that it was missing items and no where in store did it say this.
I spoke to customer service and their response was I should have expected missing pieces because it was clearance. I spoke to 2 people on the floor before I bought it and not one of them mentioned that it was just a screen. Their offer for the inconvenience was 10% off the screen and my response was what am I to do with just a screen. It would cost me more to replace all the parts.
When I bought the tv the server waa stand offish which I presume was because I was using evouchers through work and because I used these vouchers I was told my only other option was to choose another tv because my refund would be in vouchers which I didnt really want to come back to currys. This meant I was left with a smaller tv I didnt really want as I would have gone elsewhere.
I stopped by Currys PC World to pick up an ergonomic mouse pad to help with a problem I've been having due to posture. I ran into Tanyia who was a fantastic help. She was able to help me find what I was looking for and recommended an ergonomic mouse which is helping my injury already. After picking these items out I asked her about the new gaming section. I've been gaming for a number of years and had some questions around the new under 15" gaming laptops. Tanyia was extremely knowledgeable and was able to explain all of the options as well as help me compare them. I found her extremely knowledgeable, polite and all around a great person to help out. After this experience I'll be sure to go to this PC World for any other electronic needs before anywhere else in the future.
I Definitely recommend this shop!
Not recommend at all, staff never happy to help, when asked about help walk away or ask other person and walk away together, do not know answer on questions, busy chatting with each other, unproffesional, never will be in this shop again!
A terrible experience. I ordered a laptop online this morning and received an email to say that it was ready for collection. When I arrived in store I gave my details and the staff went to find the laptop. 15 minutes later they came back and said that they didn t have it. I then asked if they could find me something similar. 10 minutes passed and no one got back to me so I said not to bother I would buy it elsewhere. I decided to purchase some earphones instead, when I did I was asked for my personal details which I said I did not want to give. The team member politely told me that I couldn t purchase unless I gave my details. I explained that given the bad experience I had already had I was not willing to give my details, and asked to speak to the manager. I waited 10 minutes without a manager appearing and then left the store in exasperation. Simply awful, I will stick to Amazon in future.
Friendly helpful Josh helped us with our tv purchase & arrange delivery when we wanted
Terrible slow service with only 2 people working on the customer service desk while the sales staff stood around twiddling their thumbs. Currys computer system faulty so we could not return a product. Other people in the queue were shouting with anger at the time is was taking to get served. This is why we try to avoid buying anything at Currys. When the high street is in such trouble you would think that customer service would be a priority.
Staff were good when serving but definitely not enough staff were in store
Huge store, everything you can find, it s of staff and very useful
The staff were very helpful and courteous. I love the product too and was within my budget.
Good and knowledgeable customer service. Very happy
Staff are generally more interested in picking their nose than serving customers. When you do get the attention of a staff member if you use small words and the question is no more complicated than " May I have one of these please?" You may get what you want. When I asked a question I was pointed to the ticket for the product, If the information I needed was on the ticket I wouldn't have wasted my time waiting for you to finish your mid morning snack!!
Helpful staff. Issue was resolved quickly and very straightforward. Needed a replacement laptop for a faulty one bought recently and it was provided. In and out in 15 mins. Ty team
A full range if domestic & leisure electronic devices as you'd expect. Staff helpful although currently pushing broadband comparison in which they appear to have a personal interest !
I have sent my HP laptop bought from them that is under guarantee to be repaired as it was overheating.I was supposed to wait one week, but I got it after almost two. Having the laptop for less than 6 months, it was impossible for it to be damaged and it was in a very good care. When I got my laptop back, from the way it was, clean and protected from scratches, to a scratched screen and magnets that did not properly work for the tablet mode. Instead of changing it, they sent it again for another week, making me to stay during this period when I have to work without a proper device and with an expensive laptop under reparations because of damages made by their workers.
Very poor customer service.
You can't phone in advance to check if an item is in stock (they won't give it their phone number) and once ordered, they rarely phone you to let you know that your item is in stock. The last 3 items I wanted were not in stock, so I had to order them.
Huge showroom full of stock. While place was clean and in good condition. Only thing stopping it being a 5 star is that unless you're after one of the big ticket items you may not find it labled or easy to find, and there wasn't enough free staff clearly available to all four help either. But I found it in the end.
Large out of town Currys with big range of products.
The PC repair section were not as helpful as I would have expected. I thought that the warranty on the repair was for 3 months. I was told that I'd have to pay for another repair. I was going to buy an LCD TV whilst I was in the store but if you don't treat your customers well they'll shop elsewhere.
Staff able to tell you that they are out of stock, and not being able to tell you when New stock coming in
Staff is not very helpful or knowledgeable. That was a shame.
Went to the store to get an item which the website said was in stock. They had a huge number of boxes there but no signs saying it was out of stock.
After a problem with my 27 day old laptop i finally got the refund i asked for some 7 hours earlier .
I bought an Xbox One S over a week ago and I'm still waiting for the game that came with it to come in stock.
Very unfriendy, slow and unprofessional customer service, bought damaged TV and had trouble with staff to help. Very disappointed!
I had a pre order and had to wait and listen to one of the staff on the collection counter talk to a customer on how good his x box was then to top it off he got out his phone and started showing the customer his photos os his hand controller he didn't give a f.... about customers waiting only about his f...... x box
Great selection of all you electronics.
Good offers on a variety of products.
Had to take back #Russell Hobbs Toaster due to 3 scratch marks on front. On return waited in queue for 1hour and 10 minutes. Got it changed.no marks but on use this morning only one side works. What a Bloody pain this is. Taking it back for return of money. Curry's,,, your a waste of time. And your customer service is unacceptable..
Been on to pick up small freezer. Reserved on line, collect in store. Staff friendly and helpful
Looking for a computer very helpful staff. Showed us offers all at very good prices.
Appaling customer service. Very rude staff.
It has been like this on multiple occasions now. Most staff show contempt for customers and openly show displeasure when asked to do the most basic tasks.
Not very helpful at all it was as though they did not care
Chris, Amie and Itzaar do a great job in the business team - really happy with the service - best around simple and great customer care
One of the best currys stores I ve been to. They have lots of things on display so you can see what options there are. Staff are brilliant. Very helpful and not trying to sell you something you don t want/need. Support team also onsite and click and collect store to. Parking was a challenge at busier times. Starbucks drive-through is just opposite which is nice for a post- Currys shop
Terrible, if you get a washing machine or any such white goods, DO NOT PAY FOR THEM TO INSTALL. They were not just rude but abysmal at their job. In the end had to CALL Samsung who sent their person to fix the job, the Samsung guy kept tutting at the horrible job they did, he's employment is filled with fixing their mistakes he said. A warning to the wise: do not, get Curry's PC World to fix your goods! Value your peace of mind.
I visited to return a terrible quality PC keyboard I had bought a few days earlier. I was kept waiting outside the shop for 20 minutes before being told I was tenth in the queue for returns. I asked to see the manager but my request was denied. Be very careful what you buy from this store, they make returns not worth the wait for a low cost item. I won't be visiting again.
Lots of staff standing around, not doing much. Never seem to have the thing I want in stock, even when I've done click and collect and they have emailed me to say it's ready.
Plenty of staff around until you need help, like most of there stores. Not much in stock but it can be delivered within 3-5 days at a cost to you! Other than that loads of appliances on show.
Uselessness customer service, do they want to make a sale or not??
We walked out. 20min awaiting to get a services. Customers complaining. No enough staff to cope with the amount of people wanting to buy things
I usually find what I am looking for here or I just order it online and then collect from here. They usually have good deals going on
Online order was so easy. Collection was so quick. Within 2 hours i have my goods
Do not bother trying to get a phone contract here if you are a New Zealander or Australian. The credit check company they use (equivalent) is unable to process non-uk citizens, and so you will be rejected.
I don't see the point of even having sales assistants in the branch as they know nothing about the products. You might as well ordered on line and had the product delivered. And as to the message we received to say our item was ready for collection was not very clear.
Poor show. Was it down to the season rush? Surely better stock is in order. And ... a customer advised me of all I needed to know.
The customer service no good no help awaiting 30-minutes nobody coming to me ask him three staff they say they are busy no good
Large electrical goods "warehouse" with good stock and helpful, friendly assistance.
