This hotel might be slightly dated as only in Marriott control short of two years but it is still an awesome place to stay.

The hotel is not far from Patong but far enough away to be able to relax and enjoy the magnificent pool, gardens and almost private beach.

If you love snorkeling then despite the damge caused to the coral by the 2004 Tsunami, if you swim out the fish are amazing to watch.

The hotel staff are brilliant and in particular Nacho and Elliott, Natty and Pang and a special mention to Pat who makes every dining experience special.

The shuttle to Patong takes about 15 minutes and drops off at the shopping centre leaving a short walk back to the beach.

The restaurant experiences are very good and the accommodation quite nice with lovely views if the ocean.

All in all a freat place to stay.

Not many dining options or shops outside the resort. The nearest shops are located at patong beach which is 15 minutes away by shuttle bus. The resort is nice and secluded with a private beach and has a good range of dining options though it gets a bit old after 5 days straight in the resort.

We arrived as a family on January 6, 2019. From the plane. the view over phuket was just magnificent and considering the photos seen on the site we expected to experience an exceptional moment.
Taxi from the airport to the hotel: 1000 Bath.
1h15 drive the journey is very long.
8 minutes just past the town of Paton Beach at Merlin Beach.
Arrived at the hotel everything seemed fine! Except that ! No one to greet you on arrival, nor to tell you about the check-in.
3 small arrival cocktails served at the counter to which we went on our own after a 5-minute wait.
No attention!
Usual formalities completed, we are accompanied to the room (correct but dated! Tiles on the floor! For a 5 star!).
3 swimming pools that have a good visual but the slide out of use in the children's pool! That was one of the selection criteria for this hotel!
We go to finally enjoy this magnificent beach of white sand and blue sea .. and there the drama! Instead of a sea to swim in .. a coral beach!
I will complain to the hotel reception that I was deceived by a false advertisement! They don't look surprised! I don't seem to be the first customer to come and complain about this shameful deception! I also ask to leave and they offer me an arrangement! Far from the exorbitant sum that I advanced from Paris to enjoy what looked like a postcard! I have to stay 5 days.
For demanding customers who just want to enjoy comfort and calm for the price paid, this hotel should be avoided and strongly advised against! Risk of disappointment!
If this is the Mariott Hotel brand, a real shame!

Most peaceful place. The hospitality is impeccable, the location is brilliant and the restaurants are also noteworthy. Ideal place, if you want to relax and unwind for a few days.

This is the first international holiday that we have been on where the kids didn t get sick. The food is top quality and the whole place is extremely clean and well kept. Beds are comfy and drinks are delish! Pools are fantastic, staff are friendly, efficient and helpful. Definitely will come here again.

I went to relax with my friends for 3 days. It's great The hotel has a private beach. There is a swimming pool for children and adults. For the room it was great. Housekeeper. her name Noina she made a very clean room. Thank you for everything We will return to the new opportunity.

Great staff. Absolutely relaxing. Go for the breakfast buffets wonderful. Many fun activities to participate in and probably the best pool that can be found, especially in Phuket. Shuttle to the mall in Patong. Overall excellent.

Top drawer Resort with many pools and relaxation spots on hand. But this Resort is NOT near the downtown markets, not airport. You have to take the Resorts Shuttles, or a Tuk-Tuk to go downtown Phuket. A reserved ride back to the airport is 1,800 Baht! This resort needs more stores in which to purchase vacation clothing. The Beach Grill was a family favorite, among others. Very expansive. Luxury at your finger tips. Friendly staff. The Massage Hut, at far left, down the beach was a welcoming pleasure. Sound of waves lapping against the rocks....this is paradise. (Full body massage, 300 Baht....and they do laundry as well for phenomenally low prices)! I plan to return to the Phuket Marriott Resort in the future!!!

Couldn't possibly fault this place if I tried. The staff are incredible. So helpful. Rooms are spacious, and well equipped. Pools are awesome. Private beach. The buffet breakfast is the best I've ever had. Highly recommend staying here.

Location: good, not too far away from Patong with a shuttle service to there. However, running times are limited and from a certain time on you have to pay for it (100 Baht per person/200 per family). Rooms: decent, no big surprises. TV nice size (49 or 55inch), decent channel selection (fox movies premium etc). Restaurant: only tried the breakfast at the Merchant so far,and I like it.decent choices, good quality and at 590 Baht a very fair price

If you are a family with young children, it will be fun. The grass is so big that the kids play well all day long. There is a shuttle to Patong Beach so you can easily go back and forth. At low tide it's a bit unfortunate. The big drawback is that it's very expensive, but if you have no reason to insist on Phuket, Khao Lak will be fine. Oh, I don't know how to shower the water.

High service level with loads of activities put up for the guests! Will want to be back again soon!

Amazing place to stay. One of the best resorts that I have ever visited.

Service was generally very good. Rooms were nice, had excellent sleeps every night. Private beach was OK. The resort is not within walking distance of town, so always had to take taxis/tuk-tuks.

Only negative comment is something that about 1/3 of people in our group experienced (was about 25 of us there, all through separate bookings, for a wedding). On check in our credit card details were taken, but upon first attempts to charge restaurant or bar items to our rooms, staff said there was no credit on file. Didn't just happen once, happened to about 7 people. Very frustrating having to interrupt relaxing cocktails in the pool to go and sort this out. So I guess take this as a tip, be sure to clarify this at check in.

Otherwise service was great, enjoyed this place.

Great pools and good variety of places to eat. Rooms are big and modern. The buildings are showing their age though. Great that it has a private beach.

Very nice all encompassing resort in Phuket. The food was great (mix of western and Thai/various Asian), rooms were mostly refurbished, there are 3 pools and a beach that can only really be accessed via the hotel so although it's not legally private it is effectively so.
Wood have given five stars if they made it clearer that it's a family resort with A LOT of kids.

We went in August ... for their low season (monsoons: it rained twice in a week and for 15 minutes max). Quiet place suitable for couples or families. The rooms are large and clean, the air conditioning must remain on, otherwise the humidity takes over everything, especially the clothes. The cleaning is very good, the staff is kind and competent, the structure is very well kept. In addition to the three swimming pools (one with the bar inside) there is also the beach (not private but difficult to reach from outside the resort): the bathroom is difficult because it can only be done at high tide ... then they emerge the rocks and you can just walk on it and watch the little fish in the pools (still fun). The Marriott also offers a "van" service (such as transporting soldiers) to go to Patong Beach free in the morning and the return from Patong, to go to Patong in the afternoon you pay 100 Bath (only for the outward journey) the last return to 10.00 pm But in Patong in the evening there is nothing worth it (except the "Lap Dance" to those who care). By day it is nice to go to Patong Beach for a Thai massage.

Nicest hotel I've ever stayed at. Zero room for improvement.

The hotel area is wonderful! 3 very large pools in a green and well-kept environment. The beach was cleaned every day by everything was washed ashore. At low tide you can walk around among the stones and discover the underwater world. Many different fish, crabs and even small morays.
The breakfast buffet was big and had everything. When the hotel is full I can imagine that it gets uncomfortable. However, you can switch to the smaller "Beach Grill" for breakfast - because it is much quieter. However, the choice is smaller.
The rest of the meals we took at the hotel were good and reasonably priced for a hotel. However, we always had dinner in Patong at the markets. A shuttle is offered. Here you could still offer 1 or 2 more trips.
The staff was always courteous and very friendly.

The staff service at the resort can not be faulted keep up the good work with the local Thai staff. The pools are amazing , as well as the breakfast buffet services all your needs . The rooms are ordinary need updating with some modern style, I found the resort theme was a bit old fashion and very plain in colour and tone needs to be brighter in colour , not very welcoming atmosphere in lobby. I am 63 but love to have modern themes- did not see any modern colourful paintings

Thoroughly enjoyed my holiday stay at this resort. Amenities are clean, food (particularly breakfast) was great and the staff are amazing. A big shout out to Kelly who greeted us everyday for breakfast with a lovely warm smile and sunny disposition. Will recommend this resort without hesitation to anyone travelling to Phuket.

Great Western breakfast buffet. Ample room in the three pools. Nice private beach with lots of shaded chairs. Rooms are nice and clean but not luxurious. Oreo milkshake is great!

Amazing resort with big pool and beautiful beach.. very good kids club. Our kids loved it and spent entire day in kids club when it was raining all day long.. Rooms have balcony but smoking isnt allowed.. its little far from Patong beach than it appears on googlemap and costed 300 bhat each way for a van.. overall enjoyes our stay here..

Great value at around $80 a night here - a steal, in fact. Excellent resort. The rooms are modern and new. I had a beach front room which overlooks the little lounge area by the sea. Situated on Merlin beach which is private to the resort and is beautiful if rocky ( not a swim option). Rum shack by the beach has tasty cocktails and it is excellent place to park yourself and watch the sun go down in splendid fashion. Food has moderate options for vegetarians but they can customize many of the dishes. Love the large deck with ocean views to work for a bit during the day. Staff are friendly. There's a free shuttle twice a day to Patong ( this is about 3 kms from Patong). You could go further to Paradise beach but when I did a quick early morning trek a security guy stopped me and said the beach wasn't open. Who closes beaches?

There are two large beautiful pools. And multiple places to eat. To notch place and perhaps thanks to 2020, tremendous value.

Ok food, ok rooms, clean, good amenities, 24/7 store nearby. I was surprised that room service and resto/bar were not open from 22:00 - 6:30. The spa didn't offer a very wide range of services, beach looks nice but water is not perfectly suited for bathing given the sharp corals

1. The date of stay is a long holiday. Making a lot of people Have to wait for a long queue for check-in
2. We go in and check in around 3:30 p.m. At that time, the room is still incomplete. But waited for a long time, the room was complete We reserved a double bed for all 4 rooms but got 3 rooms, we understand because of the long holiday, there are many people.
3. Book a room in the promotion, including a 60-minute Thai massage, but when staying in the massage queue for the whole 2 days, the hotel offers to change to receive a drink instead. Which we think is still not the best way to solve problems because when booking, we book because this promotion offers Thai massage. We booked a total of 4 rooms, which didn't even have a queue. So we have to ask the hotel to find a solution other than drinks. Thank you K.pure for helping and informing the manager and finally solving the problem.
4. The cleanliness of the room around there are many things that are not neat. Different from when we stayed before.
5. Seafood Buffet 990 baht per person, very few options. Some seafood is not fresh. And have to wait in line for grilling seafood for a long time If there is no discount from resort credit, it is not worth it with the price of 990 baht.
7. For breakfast Too because it is a long weekend There are a lot of guests Some food is lacking Especially egg and coffee stations, which have to wait in line.
6. As for the service, everyone is very cute. Full service But still may not be thorough I do not know, is it because during this Cowit there is a reduction of staff or not.

Overall, everything is good, suitable for the price during this promotion and would recommend that The hotel allocates various queues and better rooms. Thank you.

The rooms that lead directly to the pool and hot tubs are a great idea especially since it was June 20 last 34 degrees with a humidity enormissime but I loved the hotel food extra breakfast ... kitchen merchand

There are three interconnected swimming pools, private beach. Friendly staff. Good food in main kitchen. Only Thai Pantry restaurant did not meet my expectations. Tucked away from busy streets.

The hotel gives you an amazing experience with daily activities if you wish to attend. Awesome swimming pools, restaurants and very friendly staff! Close to town but out of the hustle and bustle. Loved our stay.

It s better because there are not many Chinese
And I didn't say that the reservation for the shuttle to Jungceylon was full, so I came out to take a taxi, but there weren't many people, so I asked him for a seat.
However, the crew made it comfortable overall, so I tied it up well.

The staff at this hotel are simply superb. The hotel is superb, I've visited this hotel twice, once in Aug 2018 and in Oct 2019 and its been a great experience everytime. This October's visit has been amazing. Just like to thank a few of the staff, Porche for being so helpful and knowledgable with our questions, good luck in your new venture. Bao, for helping us with our suitcases, such a polite member of staff. Tong, who made up our rooms to an excellent standard, thank you. It was so good too I had 4 bowls of breakfast every morning. Private beach is also so huge. Yoga and Pilates were fantastic every morning. Healing Couple Travel It would be great for a family trip.

Lots of rubbish on the beach where the massage takes place. Sand bags on the beach in use are not organic therefore can potentially be dangerous and harmful to sea creatures.
