Courtyard by Marriott Patong Beach Review

Beautiful Resort with small private beach, Excellent service by the reception and cafeteria staff, esp those arranging table service. Would like to send special thanks to a young lady (don't remember name) who arranged coloring sets for our daughter, and accommodated a request for customized Ice Cream. Pools are nice and clean, small but beautiful beach; nice garden, large rooms with all utility.
ONLY REQUEST- Please get more vegetarian food options esp for Indian travellers.

Awesome place to stay. A little buy away from the busy areas which is nice, and has a free shuttle bus too. Has a convenience store located close by for some cheap beers and snacl food

Nice place. Everywhere. If you go to Phuket and you're in Hong Kong, don't stay here, just choose Central. Grab no one is interested because of a hidden place. Hotel taxis are expensive. Do you want to go to jungceylon? Food breakfast is a lot of American style if in the main restaurant. Try the restaurant near the beach ... more asian menus. As much as a Thai tea free as long as you drink it, the juice is not ori but the concentrate is diluted. Comfortable rooms but lots of insects. Use mosquito repellent. The swimming pool is in front of the back door, which is spread ... wide and connected to each other. The beach is shallow and can be passed ... there are scattered marine biota.

Visited here as a Bonvoy family member. You can count on the staffs and facilities to be up to Marriotts high standards.

Currently staying at the resort, the service is outstanding,the staff are all so friendly and accomodating. Breakfasts, have a range of food to choose from, we are spoilt for choice. A shuttle is available into patong, so trips can be made to experience the range of activates one can have. There is an abundance of water sports, so have your snorkels and sun block on hand. Its worth the stay at the Phuket Marriott Resort & Spa.

Staff are wonderful couldn't be more helpful. Food excellant amazing breakfast. Rooms good size. Facilities excellant. Over all 10 out of 10. We will come back. Best relaxing holiday we have had

Brilliant resort in a great peaceful location but close to everything. I would highly recommend the pool front rooms, brilliant sliding out of bed and in to the pool! Staff were so friendly and helpful too!

The Marriott Hotel in Phuket is actually as beautiful as the photos.
There are swimming pools, gyms, spas and a variety of activities in the hotel, so you can stay for a whole day without going out.
There are three swimming pools for children, a poolside bar and a quiet pool. Next to the pool is the beach, you can step on the sand, you can soak in the sea, you can also participate in snorkeling and diving activities (snorkeling equipment, diving requires an extra charge).
Part of the spa, the environment is quite clean, and the technology is good, quite comfortable and satisfying experience, eliminating the tiredness of many travels, is a good choice for relaxation.
The view of the room is on the sea and you can enjoy the view directly. And the room is clean, comfortable and spacious, and the room is also a good choice.
The cuisine of the restaurant is also very delicious. There are also buffets and a selection of Thai dishes.
It is really suitable for family travel and relaxing holidays here.

This would have to be by far the best holiday resort we have ever stayed at.

Invincible sea view, go to lie on a lounger to blow the sea breeze at 10pm, very comfortable

The ideal hotel to relax Everything is complete so you don't have to go outside. Being on him and not having to go down. The car cost is very expensive. Good food. Good food. Good service. May be foreigners

Something even more amazing was how I was provided a special phone with direct access to guest relations, who helped arranged everything we needed. Thanks so much to Nacho for the great welcome.

Breakfast was great - includes an array of fruit, salad, usual eggs and bacon breakfast, and asian cuisine. There was also a pancake and waffle station.

Juices and espresso type of coffee were also included.

Rooms were nice, but you can tell that the hotel has been around for a while. But the service more than makes up for this.

Only issue really is that it s not easy to get to the town, but they do provide shuttle service a few times a day - make sure to call up to reserve your seat.

Last stayed in april 2015 whilst still the merlin beach resort, amazing resort having stayed 6 times since 2009.

High quality 5-star resort hotel.
Various restaurants and excellent and plentiful breakfast.
Comfortable rooms, clean and with all the comforts.
Several large, huge pools with all the comforts.
Private beach with beautiful sea when there is high tide, at low tide it is better to stay in the pool.
Staff always polite and extremely available.
I recommend it for those who want to stay a little out of the chaos of Patong.
You reach the center in 10 minutes and 300 baht by taxi

we had the time of our lives, super sad to leave, resort has everything and shuttle service saved us taxi fairs

We came just as the low season started(early June). So we were blessed with 2 day of fantastic sun, and 3 days of not so great weather. Still the hotel was fantastic and I would recommend going. The Spa was in maintenance hence why only 4 stars instead of 5.

Beautiful resort for holiday destination and varity of food and natural environment

Stayed here for 8 days a couple of weeks ago. Lovely hotel, Enormous breakfast buffet, best I've ever seen (something for everyone, regardless of nationality), lovely staff and very nice room. Would definitely stay here again. Italian and Thai restaurants were awesome

Have a lot of facility in the hotel and every staff there are really nice

Nice hotel, pirvate Beach and you can relax very good. I just didn't like that you have to pay as a hotel guest for everything extra. Like for example when there's an event at night.

Would give a 6 stars if I could! Outstanding hospitability from the staff and plenty of activities to do in the resort. They even decorated our room, gave us complimentary chocolate cake and mango sticky rice, printed out our photo and left us a personal note for our anniversary. Some of the staff even knew us by names and made us feel very special :) They have 2 big swimming pools, a butterfly sanctuary, a swim-up bar and many other activities like zumba classes, muay thai classes. The private beach is rocky, but they do provide shuttle to Patong beach. We had dinner at their restaurant the Beach Grill, very nice atmosphere and the food was yummy. Highly recommend!

What an amazing resort! 5 stars doesn t seem like enough. The staff was friendly, pools gorgeous, and the kids club was lots of fun for my boys (ages 5 and 7). I will say at first glance the beach was disappointing until we realized it was low tide and that there was snorkeling to be had because it was actually a reef with teems of fish.

Considering I only looked at it from Twin Sands Resort across the road. Stupid Google.

Where do I begin . . . This establishment is one of the best I have seen in my time of traveling.

We were part of an all inclusive package, so everything from rooms, food and drink were catered for as part of our time at the resort.

The resort has lots on offer, from activities to different restaurants on site and even a pool bar to drink cocktails pool side while soaking up the sun. The resort is well maintained and is kept clean throughout the day, almost too clean.

They have a huge staff compliment which run everything from the house cleaning service, child care services, chefs and waiters, bartenders, pool side service, towel attendants and even personal assistants. All these staff are incredibly friendly and go out of their way to make you welcome.

The only problems I had were the following:

1. No snorkeling equipment for rent from the resort to swim in front and see what's happening.
2. Transfer services between town should be free, if I am all inclusive then you save money by getting me out of the resort for the day.
3. Hotel renovations could have been halted over certain times because all you hear were drills and hammers when trying to take a nap.

125$ for a day is unbelievable. (Split in two people, 62$ for a person....no joke. So affordable. I know where i am going to settle after retirement! Breakfast buffet is just jaw dropping quality and i had best fresh coconut juice everyday. They have entire honeycomb! Service is amazing. Amenities and everything was just perfect. Restaurant inside the hotel was pretty good too. Real thick rich Mango juice!! Free rental kayak and paddle boat. Free shuttle service to patong beach every 2 hours. Free swimming floats just being there. Private beach is a gem! So clean.(wear shoes though...corals gonna hit your bare feet hard and make you bleed)

A very nice initiative of the hotel for the local saving of the fauna encouraged more young people who work and explain you are very friendly I encourage the Marriott merlin hotel and the IUCN to persevere and to communicate as much premises as tourists good luck

Clean accommodation, let out, get good service, rocky beach, but clear water

Good hotel. High standard of service. Clean rooms and great swimming pool. Only a bit far from the city. They do have a shuttle bus to the city on a regular basis.

We were here on the Christmas Eve they arranged for a carnival with games and clowns

The absolute worst experience ever! Room was filthy. Soap scum with thick. Urine and pubes arpung the toilet. Service was poor. Room service food was not edible. Jacuzzi tubs from other rooms woke us up in the middle of the night. Didn't have wifi for half pur stay and the list goes on and on!!!!! Absolutely horrible! I wish I had clearly pictures!

The only thing you should know before, its about 15mins travel to patong center.

Beautiful location. Rooms are also pretty great. Breakfast was a nightmare. Overcrowded and stressful. No one makes sure you find a seat. Feels like a street market. Chaotic. Spa service also not to Thai like kind. When they were full instead of sorry we are full but give me your number in case there are cancellations we were barked at we are full !! cannot give you service .
The whole place feels under staffed as if they didn t expect this much people. First time we feel this in Thailand. Value is good and most of the people ( specially the ones who clean) are very sweet - apart from the spa desk. Love the swimming pools. One has more children other ones are more peaceful. It is a great place once they figure out how many people they need. Because of this we eat our lunch and dinner outside the hotel. Would give five stars once the service gets sorted out.

A restaurant that I didn't want to leave, and decided to go back to live next time. In addition to the hotel facilities, the most important thing is the generous and friendly staff of Ploy, the warm assistance of the front desk Tara and Tony, and the friendliness of the staff (eg. Daniel) makes it very easy. A little distance from Patong beach. Fortunately, there is a shuttle bus, called Grab or Hotel Taxi. It is also convenient and not expensive. There are many coral reefs in the beach, so you can enjoy the fish without swimming.
My special thanks to Ploy, Tara, and Tony. Given me a wonderful and enjoyable stay at the resort hotel. They are helpful and friendly. Can't wait to go back again.
