Palm city transfer and Recycling Review

This is a decently clean landfill compared to some of the neighboring counties. Other than it feeling like it's far out of the way, great experience.

I have taken many trips to the landfill, u pay a little more , just be careful for nails in the drop off area, have had 2 flats (nails in my tire) both my fault got too close to others debris, changes have occurred I liked the guy that took photos became friends, the girls in the weigh station where u pay are professional and happy faces everytime.

Well run highly efficient waste disposal landfill. Very professional employees throughout the facility. All materials are handled in this one location. Haz Mat for old paint and chemicals,landscaping waste and construction debris. Also a large recycling center. I took the debris from my home flooring project here. About 1000 pounds and was only charged a fee of less than $22. There is a weigh in upon entry and another weigh in afterwards. That's when payment is made. Very interesting process.

TIRE DAMAGE! Giant nail right in a brand new tire just pulling in and right back out of here to empty a trailer. They need to keep their drive areas clean! Sooo angry!!

Friendly and helpful attendant at household drop off.

Beware of tire DAMAGE would have cost me $100.00 if I didn't have insurance on my tire and I was being carful. This could screwup your day for a $6.00 refuse drop off. :(

First dump I ever been to that charges. 6 bucks to throw out a table and chairs, what a ripoff. There was also broken glass in the roadways I had to dodge so I suspect the other reviews about getting flat tires are true.
