Trevor- service tech was extremely helpful and knowledgeable. He was very patient and would be a great asset to any company. He diagnosed problem fast and gave detailed recommendations.

Company- $84 service call is reasonable. The fan in the A/C unit was only running, so Trevor installed dual capacitor in hopes that is would run the fan and compressor. He quoted $271 for capacitor and install. I agreed and the part powered up both the fan and compressor. He was able to diagnose no refrigerant in system, which indicates leak. Possible leak areas would be coil, compressor or lines running out of unit. After hearing those quotes, which were anywhere from $1700-$2900, I decided to have Trevor make a call to on-call sales guy. I spoke with Joe- sales, who first off seemed irritated he was being called at 11pm and then said I would be better off having Trevor diagnose leak and fix part b/c brand new A/C systems (Bryant) start off at $5000. I said thanks but no thanks. That was disappointing b/c now I don't mind paying $84 service call but it is hard to swallow cost of new capacitor $271 (part probably cost company 20-30 if that) and it only took tech five minutes to install. I understand prices need to be higher for emergent situations but that feels like highway robbery, especially since now that I have brand new capacitor without A/C working. Diagnostic fees after we found out system had a leak- I was quoted $180 for first pound of R22 and $160 for second pound of R22. Then, it would have been another $140 to diagnose the leak. So we are at $480 before knowing what part to fix. Most likely and most expensive situation is coil, which they charge $2900 to replace. Worst case scenario is $3380+$84 service fee+$271 capacitor.

I'm disclosing all this so I can help the next person not be taken advantage of and give them an idea of what fees are from CWA. I got brand new A/C system (Trane XR13 3 Ton instead of 2.5 ton previously- which matches Trane furnace XR80) $3500 installed. Do yourself a favor and call about every other A/C and heating company in central Ohio and I bet they will beat CWA on all prices, except for a service call. Shout out to Franklin Heating Cooling.

I had limited heat in my condo. I called Columbus Worthington Air and they were out quickly and sent a very nice service tech , Kenny, who quickly fixed my furnace and installed a foolproof thermostat for a non techie senior. I would highly recommend this business for efficient and kind service.

I would highly recommend Kenny or Jamie Thompson at Columbus Worthington Air for any of your heating and cooling problems.

Very personable.He ordered the parts that would be necessary for the repair and assured me as soon as they were in their hands I would be notified for installation. Zach and Ba were so knowledgeable and friendly. Vincent was in training and he was quite intent in learning. Zach was especially helpful in explaining the Nest and making recommendations based upon his experience. The entire team left our house and garage just as clean as when they arrived! We are looking forward to using our new system and trust we can reach out to Zach should we need any further assistance. We highly recommend Zach, Ba and Vincent!

i recently purchased an air conditioner and heater from Columbus Worthington air. I am enjoying sleeping in a cool room. My old Air Conditioner never cooled like my new one. Sleeping in a cool room in my home is a pleasure.
Along with a good products are skilled technicians. The company employees are knowledgable and pleasant to deal with.
The company is service oriented.

David was awesome! He notified me that he was on his way and arrived shortly after. He was efficient in evaluating my furnace and gave me a complete report. He discussed adding a whole house humidifier which I decided against but there was no hard sell or pressure. He even walked me through adjusting my nest thermostat using the app.

Keith and Byran installed new furnace . They were on time , considerate (careful to wear booties , put down walk way tarps ,remove parts and clean up afterwords). Keith explained the new furnace , the maintenance needed on my part and generally how to get the best use out of it . He also spent time with me learning the new thermostat . I was taught the features and benefits of the new nest thermostat and made sure I felt comfortable with it before leaving . They installed furnace in less than 2.5 hours giving me plenty of time to get to a previously planned appointment. I was extremely pleased with the service provided by Keith and Byron.

Rob and Adam showed up on time, worked tirelessly to complete the job, and cleaned up their work area afterward. They explained how the equipment works and left all the documentation for me. The process of getting a quote and an installation appointment was also very easy, Jeff was informative, thorough, and not at all pushy during our appointment. Our AC unit went out and Kenny (who is AWESOME) came out Monday to check the unit and fixed it. Unfortunately, later that day, another piece had broken and we needed another service repair the very next day. I had called Worthington Air with several questions regarding why/how we had 2 pieces break so close together. I spoke with Bobby who was super patient; he explained the repairs in detail and answered all my questions. We are definitely going to stay with this company and continue all our HVAC services with them.

The installation team was very efficient and cleaned everything up. Although I didn't like spending that much money, I am very pleased with the choice.

Was scheduled today for a bi-annual check up. As soon as Kenny came in the door he began by talking about safety vs the virus and we talked about how to proceed. He was professional, efficient and very nice. We had a nice talk about today's world! At the end of his check he summarized what he did/found and it was a smooth visit. Drew Smith did an excellent job educating us on what equipment would work best for our home. He took the time to understand what our needs were and didn't try to over sell us on products or features that were unnecessary. He did what he could to apply any discounts available to give us the best price possible. He was up front about the probability of the cost being higher than competitors, but clearly explained how Columbus Worthington Air far exceeds others with their warranty and service. I had fully planned to shop around for our new heating and cooling system. Drew Smith was the first person I spoke to about one and I didn't feel the need to look any further. We've had the system for almost a year now. It's much more efficient. Our bills have gone down just like Drew had mentioned. We couldn't be happier.

CWA came out to do their advertised $89 furnace wi...

CWA came out to do their advertised $89 furnace winter inspection. The technician determined that the furnace had a cracked heat exchanger (16 year old furnace) and that he is required to red tag and disable the furnace.

In addition to this tech condemning our furnace, he also subjected my wife to a high pressure sales pitch to purchase their maintenance plan for $239. Yes, this guy had the audacity to sell my wife a maintenance plan on a furnace that he just condemned.

We would have gladly paid the $89 as we originally had requested, but this tech was able to squeeze my wife for an additional $150 to service a condemned furnace.

When I got home from work, I asked my wife to call to get the service plan cancelled and our money refunded. When she called at just after 3:30 pm on a Friday, she was told the manager had left for the day. So I guess no one else in the company could respond to a customer during normal business hours on a normal work day.

We did get a quote from CWA to replace our furnace and air conditioner, however with these business practices I have to seriously question whether I trust them enough to invest additional thousands of dollars.

He was very pleasant & also took time at points in his work to explain things we could do to improve the A/C-furnace performance. He also showed us how to make maintenance easier for us. In all, we'd love to have him the next time we need service.

Amazing Company and Experience! I have never left ...

Amazing Company and Experience! I have never left a review before but having used this company I felt that I had to share my experience!

My A/C went out on us early in the week. My job has a challenging schedule at times making it difficult to schedule an appt and be present. So my wife and three daughters are home with no A/C when Ohio finally decides to be summer and it s 90+ degrees. To make matters worse my 82yr old father lives with us and that kind of heat makes it difficult on his health. So my wife and I make a call to a company and they were able to make it out and give us a quote. As hot and miserable it is anyone could take the first thing that comes. We re so thankful we didn t! We made a call to Columbus Worthington Air for a 2nd opinion and quote. I spoke with Clint Schreck. He was flexible with time and made a visit to our home even though I could not be present. He evaluated what our problem was and took the necessary measurements needed for a quote. As he left my home he called me and said he saw that my father was living with us and my three little girls and that he would like to drop off some window A/C units until I can get this resolved! I was literally taken back by this gesture! Clint came back within an hour or so with Two units to help my family out. By that afternoon he had a quote with 3 options on it. The prices were all competitive and even lower! At no time was I ever pressured or felt pressured to do one or the other. He did show me for my home what their recommendation would be though. As
my home was built in the mid 80s and my units never have been replaced, I decided to go with an entire replacement. Clint was able to go over it all with me and had me scheduled by the end of the week!
The crew called 30min before there scheduled arriving time. They showed up on time and again could not have been more impressed! They were extremely professional! They advised that the whole install could take 8-10 hrs. They were friendly and very knowledgeable. They cleaned up after themselves and you would have never known they were there. Again, I could not stay the entire time and my wife felt comfortable and praised there professionalism. They ensured she knew about the air filters and how to work the NEST thermostat. They completed the install and air was moving by 230pm!
I can t say enough about this terrible situation made into a great experience with Columbus Worthington Air! From start to finish they are doing it right and me and my family are more than proud that we chose them!

We had a hour long session with Rob E. and our contractors reviewing previous ducting and managing the interface of new and old ducting during a home remodeling project on our 38yr old home.

We agreed and understood all the changes and also reviewed the various settings in old ducts and vent to maximize seasonal efficiencies. Rob was thorough and patient in reviewing with us current plans and how to seasonally change the flows from furnaces and air conditioners to get the best results.

This appointment was partially paid by our service plan and did not result in any recommendations for new mechanical installations. Thanks to Rob for his patience and customizing his educational presentation.

I feel fortunate to have met such a knowledgeable and ethical advisor as Delonte Rivers. He spent time educating me about how systems function, took the time to fix an inadequately installed intake filter, and was sincere and genuine in his concern about malfunctioning systems. (The furnace in my newly purchased home in tilting, detached at the ceiling, has inadequate B-vent diameter, etc. I had noticed none of these problems, nor had my home inspector.)

Everyone from the sales person to the installers were friendly and professional. They all arrived exactly on time. The installers were finished and cleaned up the debris in the early afternoon. After everything was installed, they showed me how to use the new high tech thermostat and how and when to change the filters on the HVAC. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for new A/C and/or furnace.

Delonte Rivers was my comfort adviser and was amazing. I went through Buckeye heating and Cooling originally since my furnace wouldn't hold a light. They came over and showed me that there was a major crack in my appliance and assured me they were going to give me quotes on pricing by email. They gave me a site that didn't even give me details on furnaces let alone pricing after waiting 10 hours for options with pricing so I could get them at my house immediately. I decided to get another company involved when I came across Delonte. He came over late that night checked out the furnace and explained everything WITH pricing, options and deals to make things more affordable to help me with my needs. He helped so much with getting me financed so I could get the furnace I needed to survive temperatures hitting the 40s. He even got me an appointment with a technicians within a few days. This man actually cares that my cats, dogs & I are sleeping with several fleece blankets at night plus, I had to send my tortoise to a friend's home who has heat. This company is the only one you should consider!
