Colombi hotel Freiburg Review

Great location, but were only in the cafe. Any time

but now and then a cola can not be bad and you can treat it quietly

Very nice staff. We are accommodating our diplomatic staff here. The cafe in the hotel facilitates communication - with many specialties from the confectionery.

Very good hotel in a beautiful location.

Room and bathroom very clean, nicely decorated. The staff is extremely friendly. Great menu in the evening and very good cocktails, here were also special requests fulfilled.

Beautiful Central Hotel with Brilliant staff, excellent food, and great service. A short walk to the market, restaurants, and cafes, all of which are not too far away. Cannot recommend this hotel enough. Beautiful spa beneath Reception, and a smokey jazz type piano bar open from 1800hrs in the evening. A wonderful stay.

The Colombi Hotel with the affiliated Cafe Graf Anton is certainly the first address in Freiburg. Whenever we are in Germany, we visit Freiburg several times a year and enjoy excellent cake, green tea and a small lunch. We're doing that for 15 years. So actually 5 stars. In January 2018 there was a small dispute due to a change in the price list, which was not explained to us in advance. The matter was solved by the Cafe Manager to everyone's satisfaction. A week later there was another dispute that has not been resolved to this day. Because 1.50 Euro we were sent to the hotel manager. The ladies at the reception promised a timely recall that unfortunately did not come to this day. Also on an E-Mail the management did not react. In our opinion, this is not appropriate for a top hotel. It is only worth a star for long-term customers.

Extremely disgusting, because the toilet brush was still full of excrement of its predecessor.

When checking out the receptionist (this was friendly) made my displeasure clear and asked for forwarding to the hotel management.

There has been no comment from the management.

Service is 5 stars bedding and pillows are just great location is perfect. we stayed at the superior suite it was spacious and elegant. Food in the eoom service is good& excellent caffea with all kinds of goodys if you can afford it do not hesitate

Very Downton abbey-esque. Everyone is very polite and can't do enough to make your stay enjoyable. Rooms are beautifully decorated and make you feel like you're in a palace. Little pricey though.

Nearly perfect. The food was delicious and originally prepared. The ingredients correspond to the high quality that one expects from a restaurant like Hans Thoma Stube and ultimately also pays for it. The little add-on, such as the self-made chocolates that are offered with the ordered decert, is a wonderful idea to strengthen hospitality.
The only thing that disturbs the cozy atmosphere are too many waiters who are constantly in the room.

I only went to the restaurant for lunch with a friend, service was a beginner and she had no waitress eye.
The food was ok, I immediately tasted the spinach that it was only thawed, unfortunately

Nice rooms, nice spa area, good restaurant - in Freiburg you will not get better! However, compared to other major cities, not 100% on the service level that a top notch 5-star hotel should afford. That's why a star deduction.

Luxury hotel deserves a rating of 5 stars .. The price is a little bit but the luxury deserves .. Breakfast is good and the choices are medium .. Swimming pool and health center offers wonderful services .. The hotel is very close to the main shopping street .. I advise you

Evening in the bar. Excellent service, atmosphere very nice. HUGO and APEROL SPRIZ deliciously mixed. BUT: Espresso Duppio WITHOUT KEKS and no sip of tap water for 6 euros. That is out of proportion.

This is a 5 star house that has earned every star. The ambience, the rooms, the service, breakfast and restaurant. Bar, wellness all in a style of luxury and joy of life sprayed without being over the top. Any criticism would be nagging on a high level.

I am writing this review from your terrace, where I have been trying in vain for an hour to get something to drink. Unfortunately, the waiters seem to have no time or no inclination.

Pretty ete petete. But somewhere you have to go with his elegant guests.

As always, we were very satisfied. Everything worked out again. The food with the matching wine was again very good. The house is really recommended.

Excellent hotel. Delicious food and good wines. The service is very good and the atmosphere in every season a luxury hotel adequate. The cakes and cakes in the coffee are among the best in the city.

I can say that believing that having eaten well in a lot of places because of our travels, but offering the Colombi Restaurant for our wedding day, was already in a class of its own. We had a wonderful 6-course menu, where only one dish did not suit. But I think duck foie gras does not have to taste any. The staff was very accommodating and had our day with a nice greeting on the plate considered. We can only recommend the restaurant. Not cheap, but worth every euro.

We stayed three nights in the hotel and the stay left nothing to be desired.

Wanted to enjoy coffee and cake today in the cafe of the Hotel Colombi in Freiburg, in memory of old times, which I spent there with my mother, which I unfortunately did not succeed. Both the waiter and the wait staff were so busy that they studiously ignored me, although I tried several times to make myself felt - obviously too decent .... After a table with several people who arrived after me, served and me was overlooked again, I left again. That's pretty sad for a star hotel ...
