The waiter was friendly and had lots of great recommendations. Black current martini was delicious! Food was super good too and prices were very reasonable and comparable to other pubs.

One of the best hotels in Vancouver. Amazing location and updated rooms!
Absolutely wonderful place! Great view comfy beds and staff were amazing!!!
The hotel is very conveniently located. The room was clean, freshly renovated and spacious. The staff members are polite and helpful. Special thanks to Yaser, in the lobby, who assisted in the recovery of my lost phone. I would be interested in staying again when visiting YVR.
Close to public transit. Great dinning and shopping options within walking distance. Recieve great services at the hotel.
Very nice location and views. But bad wifi, expensive parking and were four in a room and only one of us have free breakfast.
Very high end hotel with phenomenal customer service
Great place to stay in downtown vancouver. A bit on the pricy side but over good
Hotel services staff is on strike. Not a goid situation.
Was there for the gingerbread house display. I go every year, it's fun and festive.
Nice hotel. Clean, modern, convienent o downtown Vancouver. Elevator is finicky, but once you get the hang of it, they're fine.
I stayed at the Hyatt Regency for a little more that a week for a conference. I found the service to be excellent during my stay.
I had a balcony on the 31:st floor which I can definitely recommend. The balcony in itself is nothing special, but the view of the mountains and over other buildings is fantastic.
It's a quick walk to the waterfront and reasonably close to Stanley park.
The restaurant in the hotel is excellent, but there are also plenty of good restaurants within walking distance. I particularly enjoyed several of the Japanese restaurants.
My only complaint is that these kinds of business hotels lack personality. The interior is completely bland. If you're looking for something exciting, this is not the place to stay.
Every Christmas season, the sofa in the lobby in front of the front desk is cleaned up and many sweets are on display. It was wonderfully done no matter which work was seen.
Dated, and wed my wife - still a pleasure to be here every time
Location is the best feature. Clean, spacious rooms but beds could be bigger (they are double not queen size).
Great conference room, and friendly staff (including the cleaning staff). They went out of their way to accommodate.
Nice lounge and bar at this Hyatt Regency Vancouver.
High end hotel in convenient location. Rooms are very large and well appointed. Free wifi which isn't typical in large chains. Staff friendly and helpful
My client booked the room for us (family with 2 kids 12 and 10 yo) for 21-24 June 2018 and gave confirmation number to us. When I checked in, the reception only gave us 1 room (I didn t know that my client booked 2 rooms for us until my client informed me).
When I consulted to the reception, they said that they only had 2 rooms located in different floors. Well I said it is impossible for us to stay in different floors with our kids so we did not use the other room and stayed in one room.
They promised us that the day after they will move us to 2 connecting rooms and told us to leave our luggage ready so the concierge can move the luggage when the new rooms are ready. We did mention that we need to use the new room around 3 pm as we will attend a wedding reception at 4 pm.
When we came back at the hotel around 3.30 pm they said that only one room was ready and when I checked whether they have moved our luggage or not they said they haven t move them. So we had to wait some other time for our luggage.
This morning I found out that we left some our stuffs in our old room. Then I called the hotel informing this. They said that they could not find our stuffs in the lost and found section. And they cannot check our old room as there is already new guess staying in that room. This is ridiculous. As far as I know you need to clean the room and leave no other items from your old guess to welcoming your new guess.
I have stayed in any other 4-5 star brand hotels before but I have never experienced this kind of service. If I left my stuffs in those hotels, they will keep my stuff and return them back to me even though they need to post them. And they do it for free. If they know I am staying with my kids they will ensure that my room is ready when I arrived so the kids can rest directly after we checked in. Plus they will give the connecting rooms or they put us in rooms next to each other.
Beside the location I don t see any other thing that I can recommend about this hotel.
Incredible rooms, restaurant, service, etc. Hyatt's best North American property.
Drinks at the restaurant: great and friendly service in a great area downtown. Nice ambience.
The bar is above average for a hotel. The staff was pretty well knowledged on local beers and wine. The cocktails looked good but I did not try. The flights of wine is my recommendation to try. They are mid level wines with supposedly 3oz pours each, but they're generous with it. My only wish is that they would get better, more appropriate wine glasses.
The room was very clean and the staff is nice. My only problem is that the breakfast doesn't have that much selection to choose from
We went for the Gingerbread Lane competition! It's one of my favourite things to see each year and I'm always amazed by the talent of the artists.
Very nice hotel. Great rooms and gym. Only negative: pool area is shaded by tall buildings and out dated. Great staff. Went above and beyond by adjusting the volume settings on my tv to go louder than locked "hotel setting". Underground parking below the hotel is very expensive. I recommend using the less expensive shared public mall parking, also underground. Walking distance to waterfront, Gas Town and Robson Street shopping.
Excellent locations and room, but room staff comes early to clean the rooms.
The bar on the second floor is a great place to have a quiet drink, in a relaxed atmosphere. They do craft beers and sometimes offers. I had a pint of Phillips craft beer for just $5.00.
Great catering service. I was there for a company Christmas dinner and food was great.
Second year now that the Richard Robbins event is held at Hyatt. They have clean bright conference rooms, and their food is usually not bad. Nice place to put up an event
Very nice hotel. Very close to downtown and the sky train.
Covid really made the trip not the greatest. Not much is open in the hotel.
The room was surprisingly big and clean. Would consider staying here again!
Very nice hotel! Would definitely stay here again if the opportunity arose.
It is safe to open two large suitcases in the room. The bathtub is shallow, but you can get hot water and stretch out. The amenities included body soap, shampoo, conditioner, body milk and solid soap, and there was no toothbrush. There were coffee and fridge in the provided Starbucks. It is said that the water provided will cost money depending on the time of year. There is an entrance that can be accessed directly from the shopping center from the side of the front of the hotel, but there are not many shops and the food court is closed. There was Starbucks in the hotel. Beside the hotel there is a donut shop called McDonald's and Tim Horton, which was open 24 hours. When you leave the hotel, the side is convenient at Ballard Station. It's just a short walk to Robson Street, so you won't be bothered with shopping and dining.
Beautiful hotel! Room was spacious and location was impeccable.
Enjoyed the room but no restaurants or bars where open at the hotel.
This hotel was awesome! They made our anniversary very special and took care of all our needs. Try to get a room with a patio if possible, great views of the city!
Hotel staff very courteous and helpful, advising guests to keep items in view to prevent theft.
The staff were friendly, the washroom was clean, and the area was very accessible and serviced. The Starbucks staff were great.
First time visiting Vancouver city and Hyatt Regency hotel has made my start nothing short of outstanding. Very nice location , helpful staff and Great amenities too.
Shoutout for my friend Moon at the guest services. I look forward to my next 3 days of stay.
Keep up the good work team!
Mosaic grill bar is really good.
Try it when you are nearby!!
$15/day for king size bed. I asked to get that waived. $25/day+ tax for parking inside $35/day for valet. Outside parking free after 10pm and starts at 9am on weekdays. Rooms were clean and updated well.
It was very clean and well put together. The event was amazing.
Great location, right in the heart of downtown Vancouver, also right beside the sky trains station. Spacious room, clean. Beautiful not obstructed view of the city from the window. Comfy bed and luxurious linens.
Very posh place. Look for the specials at the bar. It is affordable
Very accommodating. Great location. Our room wasn't ready so they offered us access to the hospitality room to shower & get snacks.
Nice hotel but weird unfriendly staff. Classical 5 stars hotel. They can differentiate themselves with their quality of customer service
Great hotel in a great location. And fantastic food can also be found here.
I was in the lobby and outside. The overall experience was one of luxury from the overall decor to professionalism of the staff
Great hotel in the heart of downtown Vancouver. Spent a couple of days here on our way to Victoria and really enjoyed it. The room was comfortable, the staff were kind, I would definitely recommend it!
Great spot for locals to drop in for a cocktail and a bite to eat.
Our favorite hotel downtown! Dino P. Makes our stay amazing every time!
Great place to stay in downtown Van. Good quiet rooms and nice staff
Amazing hotel!!!! The room is beautiful and all furnishing are new and modern. I had a room facing the mountains and the harbour that was absolutely stunning. And lastly, the staff was great!!!!
Great location but ensure you are not located on a lower floor facing Burrard Street if not you will be faced with tons of street noise. Starbucks located in the lobby. Tim Hortons. 24 hour Mcdonald's 20 yds away. Adjacent to the Burrard St Skytrain station. Double beds are big but kind of soft. Bathroom was big and pretty clean other than the light switches.
There is a gym along with a pool and hot tub (outdoors). Did not use either of them. If you are from out of town get out a look around since there is a Shoppers Drug Mart 1 block away. A Urban Fare (grocery store) IGA (grocery store) London Drugs about 10 minutes walk all around that general area. Rooms do come with a small fridge so get out and get yourself some bottled water or be stuck paying the $3 for the stuff they offer in the room.
The staff are friendly and actively offer help if we seems at lost. The facility is well maintained and the bed is comfortable. Breakfast are great. Not many options, but all taste amazing.
The room was beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. We were only on the 11th floor but we had a gorgeous view of the city.
Loved the Hyatt Club - your own lobby high up in the sky!
Hotel is run by super efficient front and back staff. Check in to check out during our two week stay was without any problems whatsoever. Regency Club staff are super efficient remembering guest names and preferences on initial encounter
Great hotel. Awesome food and service. I did not stay at the hotel but attended an all-day conference and enjoyed the facilities, the conference rooms, and the food. Staff was very friendly and hospitable.
Was there for part of a conference. The food served was quite good, and the hall was nice. It was a bit hard to find the event within the hotel though as the signage put up was very limited.
A 9-minute walk from the Vancouver Convention Centre, shopping, sightseeing, restaurants & bars. Beds were comfy, nice view, and convenient location in a great part of Vancouver. Extremely friendly staff.
Well, the Hyatt itself was wonderful as you'd expect. Great service, rooms comfortable and the lounge staff first class. However the city of Vancouver has become a dangerous and unwelcoming place. We saw many homeless people and often felt unsafe as we tried to enjoy the sights in the beautiful spring weather. Sadly, homeless and mentally ill can go hand in hand and we encountered some scary folks yelling and screaming in broad daylight. We also saw drug addicts shooting up and broken needles strewn around the streets. When we asked why the local business owners didn't call the police they said it would take a day for them to arrive because they were so busy.
So, our hard earned money was spent on a wonderful hotel in a city we couldn't enjoy. We will not return to Vancouver BC. Sad.
It is a recommended hotel for sightseeing because there is in the center of town and the station is near!
The hotel isn t terrible, but it s old and in dire need of updates. The shower was totally dreadful, it nervet got hot and it s the old tub with shower curtain style. The temp of the shower was lukewarm, colder than that of the sink (no joke). I can t imagine how no one would have said anything about that before to request repairs, as the hotel isn t new. Perhaps they did and it was never addressed? We were happy to see an unexpected balcony off of our room and the bed was quite comfortable.
