I have an interlock Device in my vehicle and I specifically told the mechanic and the gentleman that did my paperwork how the device worked and that if it went off Someone needed to come get me so I can unlock the car in order for me not to violate, unfortunately this was not done and when the mechanic finally did get me to move the car the interlock device had gone off and the car was turned off which made me Get a violation. Now I have to pay $60 to get The device recalibrated and I could be in violation with the DMV. When I spoke to the mechanic and told him what had happened nothing was done about it all I got was a simple sorry.

Just bought my car from carmax 2-3 months ago. Started having an issue where the car would cease acceleration even though my foot was on the gas, but it would happen very inconsistently. I would have to hit the gas a couple of times to get the vehicle to continue driving. Car was under 36,000 miles and was still under warranty. Took it up to Toyota the first just to get the recalls done, as the lady on the phone that I spoke to said one of the recalls was the fuel pump and that was probably the issue. Got the recall done, and the car was still having the same issue. With my car at around 35,808 miles, I Scheduled another appointment to get the same issue fixed and they told me if the driver was unable to replicate the issue, then we wouldn t be able to work on it . I told him about how the issue was very inconsistent that I don t know if the issue would occur just from one drive. They did the drive, the issue didn t replicate, so they wouldn t work on it. So instead of trying to prevent a larger problem before it started, they wanted me to wait until it got worse and until I was out of the warranty period to get it fixed. That was about a week or two ago. Woke up today and now my car won t start at all, I have no way to work, and I am now over 36,000 miles, out of the warrenty period. Thanks Toyota!

Narrative:
I went back to Coggin Toyota to buy out my lease because I had such an outstanding lease experience in September 2017.
I contacted the dealer to notify them of my intentions & to schedule a meeting to do the paperwork.
I texted Fred, the salesman, several times prior to the meeting with updates-that I had my papers, was on my way, etc.
I arrived with the correct documentation & pre-approval from my bank, since Fred said in a previous conversation that Coggin could not beat my bank s rate (this will come up later).
After we greeted, Fred sat me down, then disappeared for 10 min without saying a word. He came back with one form for me to sign, then disappeared for 5 min with no comment.
After over an hour of the same disappearing act, I think I m about done and Fred arrives with the Finance Manager who then tries to get me to listen to/accept their financing plan. I politely said I already have everything I need and was ready to proceed so no one s time was being wasted.
The Finance Manager actually got upset and there was a little argument between us. I explained that I already knew Coggin couldn t beat my bank s rate from what Fred told me earlier. Finance Manager raised his voice some & told me to just hear him out. At that point, I firmly stated I was going with my bank and was ready to go. He disappeared for 10 min then grumpily came back to escort me to his office to sign the purchase agreement & title papers. He was actually moping so I felt like I had to apologize to smooth things over. He did not apologize or recognize just how unprofessional he was, but the rest of the transaction went smoothly.
It took 2 hours for me to do 10 minutes worth of paperwork, despite having already coordinated everything. It was an incredible waste of time.
I have a positive experience every time I bring my vehicle here for service. Rubin and Brittany have been great! The entire staff is super nice and friendly. I don't go anywhere else. Thanks you all for great service!

Paid for a wash and detail had to get a refund because they didn t do it. I was told they had a shuttle to take me to the hospital where my family was (which they lied) when I scheduled my service and when I arrived they told me the shuttle was no longer running at 2 pm!!! Worst experience I ve ever had at a Toyota dealership! Employees weren t friendly either...none of them spoke except where one had to when I was checking in for my service.
My Service Advisor is Reuben Siso. He is professional, courteous and most of all friendly. While Toyota is trying to find the root cause of my electrical problem with my 1999 4-Runner, he has been diligent in trying to find the root cause of the problem. If I've been upset or angry because of the time my car has been at Coggin Toyota, Reuben never lost his professionalism, and he never raised his voice to me. He explained to me what is going on with my vehicle. I've also had dealings with the rental car staff and I was treated with the same courtesy. The first post was sent before I completed and did the rating.

I asked to look at their trucks because I m doing research on a new vehicle to purchase. I was told they had no trucks for sale even though I could see some on the lot. I then asked if they had a showroom model I could look at (it was directly behind the sales person) he told me they had none I could look at. Next the sales man asked what my time frame was and I said I was just here to look. He said that unless I wanted to order and purchase one right on the spot there, there was nothing he could do for me.
Also none of the four employees I could see were wearing a mask. And most dealerships have a thing when youre buying a car to leave a positive review for them on google, Facebook, etc. so take their nearly 5 star rating with a grain of salt.
While the staff was friendly and helpful in getting me the part I needed, masks weren t worn by an employee in the service entrance and those in the parts department had masks on, but wore them under their chins.
Super disappointed in Toyota and the employees who don t seem to care about the well-being of the customers they interact with. I expect more from people and Toyota.

I took our 2018 Tundra in for 15,000 ml maintenance. The tech that checked me in did a walk around with me, no chips, scratches or dings, none. When I received the truck back, I did another walk around and found a small but deep chip on the top of the fender next to the hood. The manager came out to look at it and said Toyota would fix it. I am very grateful that Toyota took responsibility to send it to a body shop and give me another Tundra to drive while our truck is in the shop. Now, the cons: I believe the employee that chipped my truck knew what they did(wasn't just a tap to go that deep) and Toyota wasn't going to tell me. I was handed the keys and told all was well with the truck. Had I not found the chip it'd be on me. I insist on the walk around every time I take our vehicle in because this is not the first time something has gone wrong with our vehicles while in for maintenance, too many to list. I'v even had a sit down with a regional manager. Yes, they are " making it right" but this is the last straw! I'll be taking our Tundra somewhere else for its warranteed maintenance. Toyota has broken my trust and now they have our truck for a week!! That makes me nervous. Lanette Goodin.

Went in for an oil change, and waited over two hours. The service consultant, Charlie Gator, wrote up my order, however he left an hour before I started asking about the status of my vehicle. Apparently he assigned it to someone else, never bothered to tell me, or anyone else that works there. Second time I have had a bad experience at this service center. I usually go to Keith Pierson, because they are always fast and friendly, however I don t live on that side of town anymore, so I thought I would give Coggin another chance. Only reason I am giving two stars is because David got me out of there as soon possible. The consultant that works adjacent to Charlie helped me out too, and found out where my car was, however I can t recall his name.

Having left Coggin Toyota the last time with a bad experience, I decided to give them another shot, mainly due to their proximity to my home. This time, I called ahead and made an appointment, and actually arrived an hour early. My work order was assigned to David M., and he got my service order written up right away and gave me an estimate on how long it would take. Although I didn t realize it at the time, David was the one that went out of his way and helped me out during my last visit (review above). Right away, you can tell that David is a people person, very friendly, knowledgeable, and not pushy. He came and found me as soon as my car was ready, went over the vehicle inspection and broke it down in terms that I could easily understand. I m glad I came back to Coggin, and happy that my experience was better than the last. David was the reason I added an extra star to my last review, and also why I am adding another two stars. I m happy that they appreciate my business and look forward to coming back.
The Service Department does what they say they will do and in the time frame they give you. I got new tires, front breaks, an oil change and free wiper blades at a competitive price. In addition, I was given a loaner car. Very thorough and professional.

My first time using the Coggin Toyota (Avenues) dealership for maintenance service for my new (to me) Scion. And it was a very pleasant experience! I scheduled my appointment by phone, although there is also an online option too. All my questions were answered and I was able to get a time for later the same day. There are discounts and coupons available on the website for different car service needs, and I took advantage of one, as well as the complimentary car wash. There's a very nice lounge for waiting if you need to wait, and clean restroom facilities. Bright, open and easy to navigate service center space, friendly and efficient - I'd highly recommend this place for all your car care needs! :)
15,000 mile inspection on a 4runner. In and out in 2hrs. Waiting room was packed but it was Saturday morning so it was expected. Free coffee available. Service advisor (Charlie) was very nice and answered all my questions. If you get restless like me and walk around the showroom and lot you will be accosted by salesmen but they're just doing their job. Good experience.

I regularly go to Coggin Toyota for service. I needed an alignment. It took 3 visits, and paying for an alignment twice to get my car alignment fixed. It seems that management could care less, as I called and left a message, and they never bothered to return my call.
Steve "Big Grocery" took care of us like we were family. We went in needing a car but not knowing what to expect and came out with a 2016 RAV4 XLE with zero down. Hands down best place to get a vehicle. They work with you no matter what!

Have had many difficult and frustrating experiences with Coggin Toyota Service a s the most recent has not been any different. I brought the 2014 4Runner in for an oil change, tire rotation, airbag recall, and dry rotted trim on back window. When I picked up the car there was a tool left on the bumper and one I later found in the trunk. My XM also didn t work when I picked it up. Brought it back the next day and was told I never bought that option????!!!!!!! Even though I have had it for the past 4.5 years and it was working when I brought it in.

We live near Orlando, Florida, but after visiting two area dealerships and knowing exactly what we wanted, got no movement from either. On line we saw a listing for what we wanted at Coggin Toyota, so we called and Michael Siech immediately found an upcoming delivery of the car we wanted. In addition it arrived two weeks early, and was immediately prepared for delivery. We drove two hours to Jacksonville, and in a couple of hours were driving home in our new Highlander with some extras thrown in. What was not to like?
Service for the 20k maintenance on my Tacoma was great. They took me right in and finished the work in about an hour. No issues.
Not to excited with the knowledge of the same rep who attended but the manager offered good inputs.
Bought the "Protection Package from Coggins in July when I bought a brand new Rav 4.
Got a stain on the car on the driver's side below the gas door. Washed the car and could not get it off. Coggins told me to call number on the leaflet for the Protection Plan. They wanted me to get an estimate from a collision repair shop, file a claim and mail in two pictures showing the stain. Needless to say nobody told me this when I purchased the plan. I called Coggins and expressed my disappointment. Kimberly our service advisor handled this by having it fixed at their collision shop and and re-coating the car. I was very happy that they stepped up and did the right thing. Do think the finance dept who sells this plan should be honest about what you have to go thru to get things fixed.

Alan Miller is the best. Came here for my first car and I couldn t be happier with the result. Was looking for a newer model car 2013 and up and left with a 2015 Camry and it s perfect. In my price range and all. Loved it and would highly recommend coming for your car needs and all.

3 STRIKES and your out.
Sent three separate inquiries for tire and oil change information on my 2007 4Runner.
1. Sent note through their website for info on set of 4 new tires. - Still have not heard back...
2. Called and left message with service desk - Still have not heard back...
3. Called a second time, actually got a service writer on the phone, he took my information and told me he would call back with information on tires....Still have not heard back
If they are this bad at just the basics, I don't see a reason to risk bringing my car in to get serviced.
Ill go elsewhere.
Went in for maintenance check. Jay made visit nice. Very personable and pleasant. Lounge area had 2 tv's. One showing JTV, which nobody was watching and Animal Planet which every 10 minutes had hate Trump ads. Everyone did social distancing.
Service took 1 1/2 hours. All is good.

Overall good experience purchasing a 2015 Tundra. Would have left 5 stars but was disappointed to find the online listed price was about $5000 cheaper than what is was listed for on the lot.

Continuous Customer Service. My family was looking very specific features in our next vehicle. Christian Morgain worked with us for over a week to get a vehicle that met my expectations. He put in the extra effort, and I am sure some extra time, to ensure we felt valued. My family made the drive from the Northside to buy our vehicle from Coggin due to their customer service.
Straight forward communication, clear summary of costs, efficient financing process (both at Finance Manager and Business Manager level, and - oh, yeah, Sales (Sean) was pretty good, too. An excellent place to buy your next Toyota. And I m loving my RAV4 Hybrid!!!

Horrible service time, made a appointment to have a oil change done and we were there for almost 3 and a half hours, service writer did give us a $10 discount, but when we were leaving I noticed a banner hanging in the service bay area with a 1 hour service guarantee or iits free written on it, maybe there was some fine print we missed, but over 3 hours for a oil change with a appointment seems excessive.
Update! I received a call from the service writer apologizing that they had made a mistake and that they will stand behind their guarantee. With that being said, I'm giving them 4 stars now as any businesses can make a mistake, but they made it right and I've never had any issues on my previous visits.
