My husband and I had such a great car buying experience here. Our sales rep was Rafael Elvira and he thoroughly explained all the features of the car we were interested in and he has such a great personality and understood what we truly needed. We absolutely love our car and this Nissan dealer location. All of the cars that we looked at here are so clean in and out. Some Nissan dealers do not maintain the cars they have in the lot as good as this location. We will definitely be back in the future when it s time to get a new car!

I walked out with a Brand new car!!!! Will Cooper was absolutely amazing!!!! Very helpful, understanding, worked well with my numbers. I told him what I was looking for and he did his very best and actually went and over achieved our goals! I would recommend him to anyone! Best salesman I ever worked with. Never once lied to me. When I asked questions he answered. Thank you Will Cooper! I will definitely come back for my next car!

Solid service. Raymond (my service advisor) had a real upbeat attitude and kept me informed each step of the way. The reason I didn t give 5* is simple: 5* means nothing can be improved upon and in my case there are areas to improve upon.

When you first walk in the doors of the service department and are standing there awkwardly, you should be greeted. A simple, hey, good morning, do you have an appointment with someone? Or if all reps are slammed then, hey, good [whatever] someone will be right with you in a moment. Good customer service starts with a good first impression. When you make an appointment for a specific time then that person should be there and ready to assist. Otherwise, why bother making an appointment?

Anyway, aside from the initial greeting I have no complaints. There are amenities to quench your hunger (popcorn) and thirst (soda machine), chairs to relax and wait, and a small theater room to pass the time or keep kids occupied.

I went to this dealership in desperate need of a car due to unfortunate events that left me without a car! I first met with Dylan who was very personable and a true and honest salesman (not many of those around). Dylan assisted me in Locating the car I fell in love with. Dylan advised me that him and Emilio, the manager would get me the best rate. Emilio put in great efforts with the banks to provide me with an affordable intrest rate! The greatness doesn t stop there, Jimmy the finance manager was also great to work with he greatly explained everything to make sure I received the best financing for me in my situation. I am forever greatful to this team and HIGHLY Recommend them. I could not have done it with out them. Thank you guys!!!!

The service department decided to not honor a prom...

The service department decided to not honor a promotional rate for an oil change that was sent to my email. I called early Saturday morning to verify that the promotional rate was still valid on 19.95 and was told yes and to bring it in anytime throughout the day without an appointment. When the car was initially dropped off I was quoted roughly 30 dollars however advised the representative that I have a rate of 19.95 after i told him this it was as though a light bulb went off and agreed that he was aware. After the oil change was complete the promotional rate of 19.95 increase to close to 40.00 due to "shop fees". I asked for the price to be review and honored and was told to wait in the waiting section while the manager approved. After 15 minutes I asked the service associate how much longer it will be to have the manager review and was told that he's busy with something else while look into it. Although the amount may be small my time should be valued and at least have common respect to not push such a simple matter to the back burner waiting over an hour for a simple matter. I will not be using this dealership moving forward and will go to another NE Florida dealer for servicing. Better yet, I may just trade in my car for another car make for better quality of service.

*****RUN RUN RUN!!! FAR AWAY***** The single most worst purchasing experience I have ever had from car buying to life insurance to having my home built. I was lied too and manipulated the ENTIRE process. I would not recommend a single soul to this dealership. I first dealt with Jeremy. He made sure to keep in contact with me until I was able to make it to the dealership. When I finally arrived and had to get my trade-in appraised Brent came out while I went on a test drive with Jeremy. He was very personable, telling me of all the different features and just all around friendly. After the drive is where the manipulation came into play. I was quoted a price for my trade-in, I looked up the worth of it before going, however they thought I had no knowledge on the value of it. When I spoke of it and it was looked up another number came that was the max I could get because if it goes to auction it wouldn t sell for higher because they are everywhere that was the wholesale price and the retail price and the price of the vehicle ended in 4 so there was no dropping it. So Brent goes back and forth working the numbers around getting me to a comfortable payment. When I get to financing whoever closed it was so confused with the fudged around numbers he had to constantly get help to try and explain numbers to me why the price was higher because he couldn t come up with an answer. I constantly told them I wanted to think about it because I wanted to make sure the warranty was going to switch from my present car. Brent kept telling me you should go ahead and secure the vehicle now. Plenty of people have been looking at it. We will hold your paperwork until you decide what you want to do with it. Well I understood the wrong way because I went back not even 24 hours later. This was after I left voicemails for Jeremy and texted his email number he texted me from. He was off for that day. So I was helped by Charles and Josh. I had to exchange. My experience went further and further down. They tried to help me but no help could be given. I was supposed to come back on a Friday with no avail to Jeremy or Brent. Jeremy was no longer informative keeping me abreast to the situation. I could tell I had become a burden from his actions. I asked all of my options he told me you don t like the Rogue or Murano so you either have to keep what you have or switch to a Pathfinder. I was distraught. I am sitting outside in the truck and Charles comes up to attempt and help me again. He tried to show me other stuff and see if he could help get me into something else. Well, when the time came for another vehicle the price was well overpriced according to NADA, Edumunds and KBB. The reason I was given was because I had to pay for shipping that it was coming from another dealer $700-$800!! That s more than CarMax! So the new vehicle was supposed arrive Monday, then Tuesday then Wednesday, now Thursday. Honestly I don t think it was ever ordered. I am DONE with this dealership! I feel I was definitely taken advantage of being a young female. This is by far the WORST dealership I have ever had to deal with. I would suggest AutoNation because they have a money back no hassle policy opposed to an exchange policy that you will get the RUN AROUND with. This dealership should be on our off-limits list. Stay FAR FAR away.

Customer Service is great. Waiting area has a theatre room with movie always playing and provide popcorn, coffee, and other hot / cold beverages. Came in to get oil changed and they included free tire rotation, because I was a new customer. Customer rep Raymond took care of me and I know he ll take care of who ever looking for outstanding service! Thanks again Coggin at the Avenues!

I don't know if this was a prank and no one ever told me it ended or if this is how they operate. Where do I even begin with this place ? ?

I guess let me start by saying I have bought 3 vehicles from this dealership and you would think these people would not loose your vehicle when you show up for service.

I was in a time restraint and asked if I could get an oil change before 4PM. I was told to come in a couple hours earlier and should be fine. I got there at noon just to be on the safe side. After sitting around the dealer for over 4 hours. around 4 30. I started asking about my vehicle. First they told me they were about to start working on it now. So that means they haven't even started on my vehicle after waiting around for 4 hours or so. At this point I asked for my keys back and wanted to leave. They pointed me towards " my vehicle " only to find out they did not even know where my vehicle was.

I HAD TO WALK AROUND THE PLACE TO FIND MY VEHICLE..........

Anyways, stay away from service area for sure.

On Nov. 7th I woke up and decided I wanted to buy a new car! After having a horrible experience at Coggin Nissan on Atlantic on the 8th (a different review) I decided to look online at the available cars at Nissan at the Avenues. I located a car that I was interested in online , filled out a short form, and not even two minutes later a Mr. Keith Branton called me back.
Mr. Branton was very knowledgeable and professional. He made my car buying experience a pleasure. I'm sure I'll be referring my friends and family To Coggin Nissan at the Avenues, being that this is my 3rd Nissan. Thank You Coggin Nissan at the Avenues for taking care of your customers!!

I ended up waiting over 2.5 hours for a 5000 maint...

I ended up waiting over 2.5 hours for a 5000 maintenance oil change, was forgotten by the shuttle after calling and confirming the time for pick up, did not get the car wash that was supposed to be completed and when I asked why my car was automatically locking when the car was running I was advised that not only does the user manual tell you to take them out, but to do this and maybe I wouldn't get locked out. Most new cars do not automatically lock after you get out of your vehicle and it's running. Regardless the manner in which this was advised could have been handled better therefore I will not be returning there and would recommend locating a different Nissan for any work to be done. Paul was the only helpful individual I interacted with. Bill, you could work on your customer service skills. Rant over...

It was so easy to make an appointment. Everyone was so nice and professional. Thomas was awesome!!! I asked for a tire rotation and I was surprised that they even checked all the tire pressure. Usually shops rotate but never check the tire pressure. So when I drove off and the numbers where all the same I was wowed !

If I could give this dealership a ZERO I would, but unfortunately one star is the absolute lowest. The dealership as a whole is poorly ran and the problem is institutional, our experience was putrid on every level! Our experience was horrible starting with the receptionist who lied to us about our finance director's availability, our salesman was unprofessional and harassed us about the survey score repeatedly, Chris our sales manager tried to force an extended warranty on a 2016 truck that we didn't want or need and it was only added to profit their pockets.
Our experience with the finance department goes without saying, and then the GM promised us on Friday, 9/16 that our current finance director, Dustin Hughes, would no longer be handling our deal and that an "elite team" was now handling our deal and we would have an answer Monday, 9/19, but now today, 9/21, it doesn't appear that anyone has been working on our deal at all and those thoughts were confirmed today when we received a call from Dustin trying to clarify the mistakes he made on the initial credit application and informed us that he was starting the loan process over???! THIS IS COMPLETELY LUDICROUS!!! Asbury should really consider shutting this location down and starting from scratch! Clearly rehiring new GM's every six months to a year isn't working! I can assure our disgust and dissatisfaction will not stop here!

VERY DISHONEST Nissan dealership. I've been leasing a Murano for 3 years and just recently moved to Florida. Corporate Nissan told me to go to the closest dealership to do the paperwork to purchase my vehicle. This dealer didn't want to follow my agreed on Nissan contract and tried to charge me every fee they could think of possible to make extra money off of me. Over $1,000 in additional fees besides the contract agreed lease buyout fee. Wouldn't process my purchase paperwork unless I paid for these additional made up fees. Would only wave them if I purchased a warranty from them. Total BS. And to top that off charging me a higher APR for the loan than should be for excellent credit & higher cost than needed for registration and tags.

I called first to ensure they had the exact vehicle I was looking for and Rich King was attentive and helpful on the phone. Later that evening, Valdimir was more than willing to answer questions and stay through the late hours to make sure the deal was made that night! The whole experience was more than I could have hoped for as all of my questions were answered and I left with a new car!!! :)

I would highly recommend purchasing from this location, it was a wonderful experience!

Arrived about 15 minutes late for appointment but Jason said not to worry... and he was correct. I dropped off my Frontier and when I checked back later in the day he told me he was just finishing the paperwork and I could come pick up my truck. It was waiting for me when I got and Jason handed me my copies of the paperwork and I was off. I appreciated that everyone was wearing masks but were just as friendly and efficient as I have come to expect!!

He kept me informed every step of the way and did not try to upsell any services. The Coggin family is one of the few truly no nonsense dealerships. The buying experience was stressful enough, the price was not as advertised online even though we confirmed the price over the phone with a sales person before even driving over there. We expect these guys to just want to make a buck, no high expectations for a grand visit, but at least be upfront with your real prices! No false advertising! Never received any of the books or manuals that we're supposed to come with my car, even after being told they would call me when they "found some". I called for info on that for over a month and eventually gave up, because I never got a call back any of the times I called. I was also told that once it was time for my first 5k service and oil change that the first would be complimentary ( so long as it was at the dealership I purchased from) which is sad enough alone, EVERY other car I have ever bought has had free oil changes for at least 6 months-a year... But the problem is now that my 5k is actually up, I called to confirm my first complimentary service, they said they don't do that anymore. I mean really?! I spoke to 3 different people before finally getting that answer because the first 2 had no idea.. Please educate your team members both service and sales. VERY unprofessional! Needless to say I will not be driving an hour away just to over pay for a service I can get locally done for much cheaper.

by far the best service dept in all of jax. and maybe the usa!!!!!! all the staff, andy, cory, fay, bill and others are very very kind to this senior citzen. they explain everything. my "baby" is l6 yrs old and all the wonderful people treat her with kid gloves. also the coffee is great too. i HIGHLY recommend this service dept.
i now have a chevy impala, but still bring it to this service dept. the greatest people ever.

Zero stars for this organization! (One is just to be able to post). I have been giving these people break after break. First they put wrong type of oil, then they are unable to even find out what is causing the noise in my car, and then they top it off with very very unpleasant representative who obviously is not made for job given (I would write his name, but he did not have tag with it). Dear Nissan at the Avenues, if you have on your website option to make an appointment for service, then advise your employees of it. If someone makes an appointment that means that they do not have time to wait 3 hours. Why would someone make an appointment and then come to WAIT 3 hours, what kind of joke is that???? I would recommend to check your customer service! I will not be returning to this place ever again.

DO NOT work with RAQUEL WELSH. She seems nice, but as soon as the deal doesn t seem to be working or any negotiations start her attitude quickly changes.

I followed up this morning 11/8, and after checking with my wife and finances and we can make something work a little more. I reached out, and her response.... VERBATIM - we all want a car that nobody has, but can t have. Thank you for the opportunity. Very shocked with my first experience. Definitely will be working with Jon again, if I go back!! :)

8/2019 - ASK FOR JON! Coggin really took care of me. I went in to make a deal and they really took care of me. I would highly recommend them.

Honesty is the best policy with them. Just tell them the situation and they WILL WORK WITH YOU.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! I bought a car from this dealership, SIGNED the contract, gave them all the information they requested for financing, put money down and ordered a tag for my vehicle. Within a couple of weeks they started calling requesting info they NEVER mentioned before stating the loan wasn't closed. They reposed the vehicle, said they were charging me for it. NEVER returned a penny of the $2600 I put down not to mention the $400 I spent insuring the vehicle. BE VERY CAREFUL WITH THIS DEALERSHIP THEY PRACTICE UNETHICAL BUSINESS .

Coggin's advertised 30 minute oil change service never delivers on time. Yesterday was a new low. I arrived on time for my appointment. An hour and a half later I ran down my service advisor to check on it and he then gave me a list of additional service items I needed which I okayed and said the car would be ready in an hour. Luckily I had someone pick me up at that point. Three and a half hours later I still had not been contacted so I called and was told the car was being washed. I arrived thirty minutes later and it took me thirty more minutes at the desk just to check out. Coggin, quite promising express service. In the future I will never wait for my car at this dealership.

Have been to this dealership for service several times and have always left happy. Attentive staff to check you in when you first walk in and quick and friendly service. Service manager is a top notch gent, he genuinely wanted to see resolution to an issue I was having with my Rogue that Nissan corporate was trying to sweep under the rug and coordinated with consumer affairs to see a just end to this issue. I have been to several Nissan service departments in the area and this one is my go-to.

Awful place to buy a car... Charles did a bad job finding me options to buy. When I told him I wanted to negotiate a 2016 Sentra he started to yell at me with another so called manager Clarence that it was impossible to do that in a True Car price, when the sales manager already told me that it is in fact a way they used to manage the sales on used cars. No respect and bad times is what you find there.

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had buying a car. The finance depart could not get the details straight. They added $1200 to the price that was supposed to be an incentive. We had to retun to the dealership 5 times. Had to go back and sign 3 different contracts. The service department was supposed to clean the vehicle during a service I purchased and when I went to pick it up it was horribly done and I waited an extra hour for them to clean it. The loaner car had a no smoking sign in it and the service desk even told us there was no smoking in the cars but it smelled like a cigarette factory inside. After the 3rd visit I was informed that all the previous management was fired but the new management didn't seem much better. 1st and last with this dealer.

Originally went to Coggin at the Avenues to buy a 2018 Armada 4x4. The closest one was 500 miles away. When it arrived it was in sub-par condition. Ron the GM, Bryan the Finance Manager, and Kyle the Sales-rep were helpful in attempting to fix the vehicle we ordered. Ultimately, we were not able to accept the 2018 due to unforeseen issues with the delivered vehicle. Ron went above and beyond to ensure proper communications, Bryan and Kyle made positive contact daily to ensure the status of situation was thoroughly communicated, and ultimately I was met with a solid deal and an upgrade into a 2019 Armada. The dealership team I worked with went above and beyond to ensure I had the best experience possible and left happy with the vehicle that made me happy, without just settling on a secondary vehicle. Thanks team

David Seals gave us the best car buying experience ever! So much that we ended up buying 2 cars at the same time. No pressure whatsoever. Brian Gering went over and above to make sure we got the deal we wanted on our terms. Not only that, he was able to get us an interest rate better than what our own credit union was giving us!
