CoCo Key Water Resort Reviews

VERRRY NICE ROOMS!! I was worried that there too many good reviews to be true so I was leary about what I was actually going to encounter. However, from the door to check out everything except the Wifi connection was awesome! Check in was fast any easy. I reserved through priceline (so again I was worried about inflated extra fees) however there was only a $32 hotel fee and a $50 room deposit they return to you at end of stay. Housekeeping was nothing short of nice and courteous each yime we had to call. And in the morning walking down the hall no one passes you without saying goodmorning. The water park passes were included in our stay and the park is EXACTLY how it looks in the picture Lifeguards all over the place and very nice too! At check in there is a sign that says $17 for breakfast for a family of 4($17 for all 4 not each person)so we were blessed to have that exact amount. Im so glad we paid for it because the breakfast was an all you can eat buffet. When we arrived the sign said $13 per person so we SAVED ALOT!

There was my brother and I, my 15 y/o cousin, 7 year old and 1 year old and WE ALL had a blast! I enjoyed it and it was worth every penny! Again, the only thing I would change is the Wifi connection. I couldnt even use the Wifi on my phone or ANY of our devices because iy was VERY LOW(maybe because so many people were book at the hotel using it I assume) but all in all Im satisfied

I stayed in 3204. The beds were comfortable and room was spacious but awkwardly set up. Apparently, a renovation has begun but I feel as if I overpaid for my 2 bedroom (older room).

My refrigerator didn't work properly and had a horrible odor. (I did however receive a $25 credit for my spoiled yogurts as a result of its malfunction)

The closet smelled like mildew.

Water leaked from the bathroom tub faucet after it was turned off. And water ended up pooling on the floor despite my trying to prevent it from happening while bathing.

I didn't go to the water park but my sister in law did and told me to be happy I did not because the water (to her) smelled like recycled water with urine in it.

I won't be returning. But, I will say that some other patrons seemed to enjoy their stay. To each our own.

Nice place and nice staff. However the beds were very uncomfortable. It was 5 nights of torture. I felt like I was laying on bricks.

Booked 3 rooms for family and friends get away and our rooms are dusty, carpet was not cleaned, one of our towels is still dump, our tv microwave and fridge dont work called help desk they didnt fix it our bathroom.door was broken my husband and kids got locked and they have to break the door maintenance sd they will order new knob on which it seems like it's been broken, toilet broken the kids had fun in the water park it's just that they open at 11 and close at 9 we got back from the theme park and not able to enjoy it as much. Hotel needs a lot of upgrade to be consider a 5 star. Giving 2 due to kids had fun in the water park.

Although my children have fun, when I first checked in to my original room there were two spiders crawling on the bed and the air conditioner did not work. It was extremely hot in the room. Nevertheless, They did switch me to a different room which was a little better than the first one, even though the beds were the worse. No comfort. It wasnt what I was expecting, but, Other than that the water park area and pools were very fun.

Perfect mega-motel for an unexpected Orlando overnight with kids. Also Universal's just down the street.

Awful!! The resort is cheap, at best! We had ants in our room and a bathtub faucet with a steady stream leaking the whole time, even though housekeeping tried to remedy the situation!! Mulch machines and blowers around the pool area all afternoon! Dust in our eyes and mulch on ourselves and our towels/chairs! Deactivated cards a day early! Box knives open and laying on the floor of the gameroom while they repaired carpet with kids around! 45 minute check-in line!! 45 minute wait on our food at the grill! Tiny drinks for $10 at the bar! Sketchy people everywhere! A dump, in my opinion! The waterpark part of it is NOT worth the stay and that's the only reason we picked Coco Keys since we had never been there before!! I have an 8 year old so, we were excited about the waterpark and gameroom! Do yourself a favor and go someplace nicer with a bigger pool area, you won't miss the waterpark! Believe me! Small pools, unsupervised kids, not enough tubes for the waterslides! This place is not worth it and we won't be back! We visited during Spring Break 2017 and you would think they would have the property ready by then! Mulch blowing, paint stripping metal railings, painting walls, repairing carpet and apparently short staffed! It is like they finally had enough money to do upkeeping AFTER people paid for their Spring Break vacations! Do your upkeep during non-peak season and times of day!! The pool was small but enjoyable at first with kids in the water playing, sun was shining, music was playing and then the mulch machines came in! Ugh! Ruined my only afternoon in the sun!! It took them a couple of hours just to do the pool area! Then they did the rest of the property! If you want a nice place to stay and have fun, this is NOT it!!

When arrived we was not info of the power outage in half the hotel. So I had to info them our kids were asthmatic. & couldn't be hot w/no air. It took 32mins to change us. Not to bad if u count the water park area.

This was my first time to Coco Key Resort , I decided to book it for one night since the advertised $145 price was not bad . Turns out they had a resort fee which bumped it up to $198. I arrived at 4:30 at the hotel and the room was not ready ,the front desk girl shannalie I believe was her name was not that polite . I had to wait like 2 hours for a room . We were given the option to wait at the water park that to be fair was really good and the kids really enjoyed it . When we finally got the room I was little disappointed at the bathroom but ok with it . The major surprise came when the kids showered and the drain clogged . After the water came down there was dirt all over very nasty. The beds were pretty clean and well kept . Next day I voiced my concern to another lady in the front and she very rudly said ,Ohh I will let them know in a very dismissive way. Overall this hotel could have made sure I felt good with my stay but I believe costumer satisfaction is the least of their concerns!

Internet is impossible to use, if need it. Forget it. Just won't work.

The structure has a nice water park, the rooms need a "freshening up" but they are spacious. Hotel use is of medium-low profile. Friendly staff who do not even allow paying to delay check out

The horrible cleaning and 1 week ago they have no system and they do not return the deposit and the person who is in the front desk is an uneducated

Los of fun for the kids. The room smells bad of a musky smell, like clothes left in a washing machine for days! It's very upsetting to my stomach. The wifi is extremely slow! My daughter's tablet says it's connected but isn't able to pull anything up on her tablet. For the price of the room I expected better than I'd received.. If you forget something at home such as a razor be advised the resort doesn't have such items. This resort only supplies the basic... shampoo, body lotion and soap. Yep... they don't even carry conditioner!

Limited rides for kids 4 and under but there is a kidy pool area my kids loved.

The hotel is cheaper but, my room had a strong smell like humidity and dust... so, they changed to other room with the same problem omg... I won't back again

The big sides are fun but lack of an adult pool leaves you swimming in peepee. Fun for the kids.

The hotel was really crowded and the check in lines were so long and took forever to check in the rooms and lobby looked nothing like the pictures online the room smelt like mildue never come here I went to another hotel because of it I wish there was -5 stars

Possibly one of the worst hotel stays ever. The rooms smell bad, they have no microwave, the ac made a loud noise and barely cooled the room. The front desk did not activate my key card 2 times in a row, leaving me to go back and forth to get them activated. They have hidden fees, such a a 50 dollar hold on your account (which after over 2 weeks i still have not received back into my account), they also charge for a parking pass, when their is in fact never anywhere for paying customers to even park. The food service is ridiculously slow. We waited over an hour for a pizza. (they did refund us for waiting so long). The life guards are also a bit ridiculous and are constantly fussing at children and adults and blowing whistles for no reason at all, which makes the water park no fun at all! Plus it is crowded because if others (who aren't paying for the hotel) get to the water park before you then you can't even use it. Almost all of the arcade games do not work (and they would not refund the money put on the arcade card even though we couldn't use it). Over all I was very unhappy with our stay here and would never recommend it or stay there again.

This was a horrible experience all the way around. I would NEVER recommend anyone to stay here.

My recent visit to their resort was underwhelming for the following reasons: the television in the room didn t work whatsoever, there wasn t any ice in the vending machine, and on Sunday morning for breakfast it stated that it opens at 7:00am. When we walked up to the counter, Emily Anne told us they were still setting up, but it was supposed to be open? She and a few other employees continued to set-up for 30 minutes without even asking us, how are you, kiss my ass, nothing. Once we finally got our food from the buffet, one of the employees quickly gave us the bill without saying a word to us or if we needed anything. When we got to the register, I asked if Emily Anne if the food could be added to the room she didn t speak at all. It was VERY RUDE and not how to treat customers. I was hoping for better customer service than what we received, I would not recommend this hotel to anyone and that s unfortunate because I only live 2 hours from Orlando. Saddening.

Over priced. No money back half the park was down. Hotel was a little outdated. It's a nice day trip just not an overnight function.

The courtesy bus was very convenient to and from universal. The rooms were a nice size and clean.

Room are not huge. But with so much around to do who cares. Waterslide a pool on site. 3 restaurants, a small store all before you hit International Drive. Fun and food everywhere. Staff is great.

Check in took 45 minutes. Once we finally checked in and got to the room, we turned the lights on and a TON of German cockroaches scurried down the wall and over the coffee pot. I m at disgusted. So we took out things and went down to the lobby. Waited ANOTHER 45 minutes in the lobby. We booked at the Double Tree Hilton during our wait (beautiful hotel) because we didn t want to sleep with roaches crawling all over us. We said we simply wanted a refund and that we were leaving. We were told by Krist at the front desk I ll send an email and they will discuss your refund in the morning . You will discuss my refund in the morning!?!? Your hotel has a cockroach infestation!!!! I am SO disappointed in this hotel. This is ridiculous

Went to the resort for the water park. I only experienced the indoor part. I was nice enough and my son enjoyed it. Most of the lifeguards were friendly and very vigilant. It was clean. If I have any complaints it would be the smell of chlorine. It was strong and you can smell in the courtyard area before you get to the pool area. Would go again.

It's okay but the rooms can be better but this is a nice kid friendly place because they have big water slides

Rooms need major updates and a good deep clean. The room was very dirty and water in shower would turn off all the way toilet kept running also.

There are no curtains. It makes for a island ambiance. I like curtains. The room is clean. There's a coffee maker. I also found the refrigerator. The armoire is nice with a iron and board. The towels and wash clothes are changed every day. The door opens outside. No hallway. The pool area is nice enough that they are open to the public for a fee. It's shaded. It also has a few water slides if you are interested.

Room was dirty asked for a family room with adjoining door but was given a twin double to small for me and my 3 kids lots of damage in the room its self the shower did not work places to eat in the hotel were awful staff were rude the pictures of the hotel on line are absolutely nothing like it is in real life DO NOT STAY THERE

Very good place to spend with children in the water park the reason why I give four stars is because the rooms are very crowded if you think only sleep is fine since you are so eaten in the rooms

The rooms are clean but old , near water park is noisy in some night they forgot to turn off music and you have to call to turn it off. Staffs are polite and nice. Worth value of money paid. On time service to universal studios.I recommended in general.

My kids had a blast. The only issue we had was there wasn't enough staff so they alternated closing slides every hour in order to maintain safety. More staff at the waterpark would have made this a better experience.

This place would be amazing with the right staff. They've made improvements in the past year but our stay was still disappointing. Although the lightening storm shut down the water park the staff kept the kids entertained with games and dance parties. There are 2 bars, a restaurant, small gift shop, and a great arcade. Pay close attention to your children if you care. The lifeguards are there for show and there are more lost parents than children. Poor management but great entertainment. We were even offered a complimentary stay to come back from the last time but when we got there they said they could not honor it.

Good service, they only speak in English. It has a very nice water park for children

The room smelled as soon as we entered it. The kids up above us played the whole night, which they should've took into consideration for other ppl and maybe have stayed on the ground floor. Also the sink stayed clogged. I ordered wash towels bc the house cleaner failed to leave any in the room after tidying our room. As well as we had to pay resort fees to park on premises which made no sense to me at all. The floor needed to be swept again before we got inside the room. Over all my experience was not good at all I would not go back again for that price it was entirely too much.

My honest opinion...attend a family reunion here...Thursday-Sunday...check in...for us was fast...room was dated..but very clean...air conditioning worked great...and the shower had wonderful hot water...which is great for a person like me with RA...The water park was amazing...very kids friendly...I like the fact that their was lifeguards always on duty...so that made it comfortable for me knowing my nieces and nephews was safe at the water park...the staff was very friendly...and the grounds was clean...it's in a Wonderful location...and the strip was nice to walk on and shop...now the cons for me...I wish their was blankets on the beds and shower mats in the tubs...but other then that...my family had a blast...we enjoy ourselves and we will come back again

Horrible customer service. Booked months in advance to be told after driving 21 Hrs that they did not have the adjoining rooms I requested. No elevators, no room service, breakfast was sub par. Rooms smelled, black mold on ceiling and in air conditioner. filthy floors. My granddaughter walked from shower to bed and her feet were black. Pillows were cement blocks, blankets were a sheet, then a thin piece of material and then a sheet over that. Definitely not hotel quality at all. The kids enjoyed water park but not worth it.

Stayed one night to enjoy the pool prior to our Disney trip. Rooms were decent for the rate. The kids loved the water park though they were to young to take full advantage of it. Only complaint is that the sink drained very slowly, perhaps so Drano would help.

When we first got there we weren't sure if it was the right place because it looked nothing like the pictures. It looked a lot like a motel instead of a hotel. We didn't want to stay in the rooms out there, so they put us in their tower. First, it smelled and then when we got in the room, there were holes in the walls and floor, there was mold in the shower, the carpet around the base boards were pulled off, and we were pretty much disgusted.
We didn't want to stay there so we left immediately. Then they wanted to make us pay for one night even though we didn't stay there for 10 minutes. So we ended up having to stay there for about an hour trying to figure things out ,and we were tired because we just drove 14 1/2 hours.
We were really disappointed because, like I said, the pictures on the website looked nothing like the actual place. This was false advertising and was nothing close to a resort. So we ended up having to book a last minute stay at another hotel,and it was lucky too, because it was a cheaper price for; breakfast, better quality, and we still got the shuttle to take us to the parks.

these people do not deserve to have a star or be in business the place is absolute filth, they have charged my cc 357.99 that was NEVER suppose to be charged I am now putting fraud charges against this place. it has black mold in the rooms TV's didn't work the phones didn't work there is dust everywhere. I can not believe this place has not been shut down. the food is awful the service is terrible. i will be calling code enforcement and make sure that this place gets fined for how disgusting it is. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE!!!!

Simple hotel. No luxury. Just to sleep. They charge a fee to use the resort

The rooms get cold at night and the heater in the room just blows out cold air. Plus the room key cards do not always work resulting in getting locked out of the room and traveling all the way back to the front desk to get they key card reprogrammed.

Good location and many restaurants nearby. Universal studios is close by. Their free park shuttle is only for universal. Also, you need to reserve shuttle early otherwise you will get later pickups and arrive late. Their convenient stores provide shuttle to Disney at $18/person on pre-booking. Charges $30 resort fee that includes access to their water games. As water sports are open during day, usage is less as many prefer to enjoy at resorts than staying at hotel.

The water park is old and was so crowd we can even enjoy. The ac unit Was broken. The room was full of dusty, the toilet doesn't flush. It was a nightmare. I don't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I don't care what anyone on here is writing I'm writing in behave of my children they loved the water park. The staff cleaned our room and yes there was a fee for the water park and it was worth it...we drove to Florida from Virginia so no need to take the shuttle and parking was 16 at the park worth the money left when we wanted too...I even enjoyed the water park...the breakfast wasn't that good but there are so many places to eat around there..

If you wanna get away with the kids, or have a cool place while visiting Orlando. I recommend CoCo key. Nice rooms, friendly staff, good drinks, good times. They only reason I didn't give it 5 stars was the couch in the room, everything else in the room was nice. That couch was not.

We got our passes on Groupon for 17 bucks. The staff here is very friendly and outgoing, they want u to have a great time. There was plenty of great seating, if u wanted sun, there was seats and lounge chairs, if u wanted shade they had little cabanas that u didn't have to pay extra to use them. The bathrooms were the cleanest public bathrooms that I've ever seen, so whoever cleans them deserves recognition! They even have showers n the bathrooms to clean off all the chlorine off. There were no wait lines at all for any of the slides. I can't say more positive things about this water park. We didn't use this place to stay overnight but I def recommend this as a water park. Lifeguards were even doing drills throughout the day too. And they also have a pool that's half indoors and half covered by a roof. The toddlers section was also under the roof so u didn't need to worry about your little ones getting too much sun!!

Front desk representatives need to work on there customer service,, extremely poor. First they said they never received my reservation, even after I presented the confirmation email, with the confirmation number. Then they said they will be waiving the 2 day parking cost because I waited to long in line. I said it was because you lost me reservation. Then they said there is a additional $72.00 for resort fees. I again presented the confirmation email, which I cleared showed I already paid for the resort fees. They said this is additional fees that cover the water park and before he could continue I cut him off and stated, "It clear states on your website that the waterpark was fee". Then he continued to say it covers the housekeeping of the rooms, and again I cut him off and stated, "That is built into the cost of the room". Beware of there hidden fees.
The rooms are ok as you can see they are make repairs to the hotel. Pools are a little dated but functional. Food was surprisingly good. We would come back again, but we will fight those hidden fees

Kind of dirty and dated. 100 little kids in the after nine pool, including in the hot tub. Ew. Staff is really, really nice. Looking forward to the big water park Friday. Great hotel for families with kids under 12.

The kids enjoyed the water park. The water in kiddie pool under the cover smelled like old gym socks. We had a room but didn't stay in it. We found a bed bug on the pillows. Thankfully I live locally to the "resort" and went home to sleep.

At check in the staff gave us 4 wristband for the resort. But I did not see not one person wearing their wristband which made me to believe anyone can walk into the pool and waterpark at anytime. And the way the resort is set up anyone from the neighborhood can just walk in.The staff does NOT ask to see wristbands while attending the pool or waterpark. I did not feel safe because of this reason. Usually I'll go to the pool alone but at this resort I asked my son and my boyfriend to stay with me at all times. The pool towels were never filled. The bar was closed. When booking the room it stated our room comes with a microwave, our room did not have a microwave. Our coffee machine had no coffee pot to brew coffee. So we didnt enjoy our morning coffee. No breakfast included, you have to pay. I was aware of this before booking the room. So my family and I ate at IHOP across the street. We had a great view of Volcano Bay. International Drive have so many options around the area from Theme Parks to Dining.

Good outdoor fun for kids but the hotel portion needs work. It's not well maintained, or as clean as I expected. Toilets don't work, rooms are dusty and the overall look of the place could use some reconstruction.

I checked in at 145am and when I saw the condition of rooms I knew I couldn't stay. When we woke up, my kids tried using the bathroom and the sink didn't work, the water in the shower wouldn't go down and the toilet was clogged. I went to the front desk and because it was 1230.....they charged us for two days. I'd say if you're going to utilize their services....pay for the water park only and use another hotel. By the way, the chlorine his really high in the water resort area.

Worst experience I HAVE HAD ON VACATION!. I don't know where to start between the lies I was told about the package I paid for, for mother's day. To the bugs in the room, I was informed to get a microwave I had to pay an additional $10 + tax, no washcloths available after the first night while I stayed for 4days. The $500 I paid for a motel 6 with a water park and poor customer service is unacceptable. For you to call this a resort is laughable, unfortunately I came from out of town and wasn't aware that pictures amongst everything else was deceiving please don't waste your money.

I booked the room with my flight because they give you a discount but the part of the building in the hotel we staying was outdated and the room smelled humid all the time the water park was great.

This was not the resort we were looking for. In fairness, we didn't make it back to the water park. We didn't find the beds comfortable or the rooms clean and relaxing. Our "poolside rooms" were located on the 5th floor nowhere close to a pool, and definitely not a view of a pool.

Don't waste you money. We went here only for the park. We didn't stay there, so can't speak on that. Water park was VERY small, only a couple slides. More so for children! They also kept closing due to weather, happend 2 times during the 3 hrs we were there. Time for a rebuilt, very run down overall. Nice staff. Full tiki bar

The tower is a better place to stay compared to outside rooms

My husband and I traveled overnight and arrived at this resort with our children 2:00 in the morning, the service at the front desk was less than basic, no help with luggage, finally found our room and the door would not open all the way because the latch/ lock was on somehow, we called the front desk and waited for someone to arrive to help, while waiting now 2:30 AM,, (our room was on the 3rd floor, over looking the water park) so as we waited I noticed how dirty it looked, towels hanging out and all over the floor, the water was gross,,, equipment dirty and in need of serious care, finally the guy came who was very nice but told us that sometimes this happens if the door is shut to hard by the cleaners and we would have to stay in another room for the night, (all,,,, I want to do is take a shower and go to bed) we get to the new room and I tell my family NOT,,, to put anything down till I check the room, dust was everywhere,,, and I mean as if the room was closed up for months, there was black mold in the toilet, I check the first bed,,, and my breath was taken away,,,, ( I had to keep calm for my kids) but the mattress looked like it was dragged out of an ally, hair, debis, huge stains, HORRIBLE,,,,, the other mattress had at least a mattress cover,,,, BUT, that means nothing, the mattress wasn t great, but now it s 3:00AM we NEED to sleep, my kids need to sleep, my daughter started crying and said she didn t feel safe,,, and that IS,, how the environment felt, I pulled the blankets off the bed, and all 4 of us had the sleep on our sides to fit in to this one double bed,,, the SECOND,,, the sun came up(4 hrs later ) I booked a room at Disney and got out of there,,,, THE WORST START TO A VACATION BY FAR!!!!!!!! that place needs to be torn down and rebuilt,

Older hotel but clean rooms and a friendly staff. Over all cleanliness is very good and the rooms can use a little TLC. I would stay here again if I had to but this would not be my first choice unless I were on a budget then I would definitely stay again.

Small water park but no waiting for slides.. game room is large and games for all ages.

Very disappointed in this Hotel. Disgustingly Old building, hot hallways and elevators, have plumbing issues, found dead bed bugs. Not as clean as it could be. A lady was nasty about requesting a late check out. Please do not WASTE your money.

Im giving this hotel 5 stars because I knew the level of establishment I was getting. For that area, with a water park it was obvious this wasnt going to be DisneyWorld Resort Quality stay. I wanted to put my money towards doing more than just Walt Disney and their resorts. So in the realm of a normal hotel with a water park the place was a bargain. The water park is nothing to shake a stick at. The kids, and I mean every kid in the place loved it. The staff was nothing but nice. The lifeguards took their job seriously. The game room wasnt a Dave and Busters but a contender with a large bowling alley game room. Plenty of fun games. The amount of tokens given was extremely generous. I wound up giving my tokens away because I couldnt use all $100 worth. The cafe was decent. I dont drink, but the bar staff was friendly. The room service we got was a very nice lady who met all our needs and noticed our toilet had issues and called maintenance for us. The only thing I didnt like was no breakfast included, but then I have to remember Im getting a water park every single day for free for 4 people. Also, if its raining the life guards turn the banquet area into a place for kids to play and dance. They had some guy show up with parrots for the kids to meet and greet. There was some sort of hotel mascot (furry) that walked around and greeted kids. For $115 a night I was more than pleased. I didnt see any roaches, but its central Florida. I wouldnt have freaked out if I did. I dont expect the Orkin man to be on staff at a mid ranged resort. Also, there were smoking areas and I was personally directed to it when I didnt know where to smoke. High value for the price.

Never again will I stay at these outdated run down rooms. Couple of tips eat breakfast somewhere else, get a room in the front, and if you're disabled good luck. I booked this room for my family thinking it would be great for the kids before they go back to school. We were excited because we have been to the water park before so why not just stay there. HUGE mistake. We got a room overlooking the park and the chlorine smell was insane. Yeah you're supposed to smell it of course but it was way too strong and in the room. My aunt is disabled and for some reason they couldn't accommodate us because they didn't have rooms so they said. Breakfast. Just. Don't. My aunt couldn't go down for breakfast due to her leg being swollen so my sister and I went down to get it for her. They had such an attitude talking about procedure. I have never been in a hotel so uptight there's procedure for taking breakfast back to your room and we PAID for it. That's the kicker. They gave us to go boxes and watched us the whole time we got food like we were stealing. The water park was the ONLY good thing about this place. It's not worth the money to stay here at all. Get Groupon tickets and just go to the water park.

The water park and activities are great for kids. The staff is very friendly. The restaurant and bar are reasonably priced. The rooms are in need of updating and housekeeping was almost nonexistent. Housekeeping came once in 4 days. All they did was make the bed and empty the trashcan. It was after 4:30pm when they did come and then asked us to leave the room. Very inconvenient time when you're done with the water activities and need to get ready for evening events. There is a mini fridge and coffee maker (single use) however, no microwave. The mattresses should be changed out for knew and are not comfortable at all. The bathroom door was a water damaged mess that should have been replaced, and mold behind the shower wall tiles.
Wi-Fi is spotty at its best. They limit you to 2 devices per room and you still can't connect. TV service is ridiculously limited in selection with no movie channels and their line up doesn't match their selection guide
It definitely should not use the word "resort" in their name.

I stayed here last week. I had reservations for 4 days, and ended up only staying 2 because of the experience. Fighting to get back my 2 days I didn't stay. We had roach's everywhere. The fridge didn't work. Room smelt like mildew, the arcade games had alot out of order and the water park closed early do my kids couldn't even go in. On top of this they Charged me a 94 dollar fee they told me I'd get back. I talked to the hotel and both front desk and management were IGNORANT

Ok so this wasn t the worst nor the best but my experience for this hotel they would take so long to clean the rooms I stood here for one week and only cleaned it 2 times and the worst part of this was you can hear rats slap boxing at night while sleeping and to be honest the sink would get clogged up I had to fix it and take all the hair out looking like the movie the grudge was all black and nasty other than that it was a nice room and water park

We loved this place. The rates were amazing for all that they offer. We stayed with them for our visit to Universal and the kids preferred Coco Key to the actual park. We will definitely be back.

The managerial staff was unprofessional and rude to the point of actually being argumentative. The electricity in our room went out during the night and continued off and on in the morning while they were trying to make the repair. Since our phones didn't charge and the alarm clock was reset we overslept causing us to miss meeting friends for breakfast and our prearranged time to meet our family at the Universal theme park. Plus, without lights in the bathroom we couldn't shower to get ready. When realizing the full affect of the situation we spoke with the manager who gave us two $12.95 tickets for the breakfast bar. She refused to give us two more for our kids(teenagers). She actually said "weren't you going to feed your kids anyway"..."it's only $4.95" no it's $12.95 for the teenagers and we didn't plan to eat here but this is the only compensation we can get. After further discussion, we were given one more ticket and told that's all we would get.
