Good the pools, but they put too much chlorine!
The rooms are not what they sell, we rent in a luxury supposedly, and luxury had nothing, all very old and broken! The carpets stink and the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired!

Unprofessional staff. No one answered our internal calls. Very long line on the main office.

We just left 07/01/2018, and although the kids had a good time at the water park(when it was open) the room we had smelled, the pull out couch had stains on The cushions and the actual pull out was like sleeping on plywood with a blanket covering it, and two out of the four days we stay there we had to call for room service, and non of the staff have good friendly customer service, theres more I can say but I'll ens by sayin we'll never be back nor will we recommend this place to anyone.

This hotel was great, probably going to be my next choice when I go back to Orlando. Didn t get to enjoy the water park though as we were limited on time

I love this hotel it s a really fun place to stay and you can go swimming too with some really cool waterslides

The rooms are nice. It's not budget friendly... I mean its Orlando though. Also breakfast IS NOT COMPLIMENTARY!

Room was clean. We were given 2 cards to get into our room only one worked. I went back down and asked for the card to be reactivated the front desk gave me 2 new cards, that one got me in the elevator but neither one got me into the room. Luckily the one card that worked first still worked. The bed was hard as a board and pillows where were even worse.

Water park was nice only one slide out of order. Place was clean and staff was helpful.

The arcade was a disappointment most of the games didnt actually work. Pre paid on a game card and was stuck playing the 3 games that worked.

Two words, "HATED IT"!. The staff person, Ozzie, upon arrival was not the most friendliest sales rep. Not a smile. Didn't even crack one or pretend to be enjoying his job or the guests checking in before me or myself for that matter. He couldn't answer my questions as to why when i was checking in it didn't tell me that I was going to be charged additional fees upon checking in. After checking in and reaching my room, there was dust everywhere! Bed was made nicely though. In the restroom I could hear the neighbors whole conversation (didn't know it was adjoining rooms). When I left for the day and came back I noticed that there had been some cleaning done. They removed the towels and wash rags but did not replace them, so when I called the front office they let me know it would be 10 minutes before they could replace them. They took every bit of those 10 minutes. I checked out on Sunday Nov. 18th, 2018, and asked to speak with a manager, a lady took down my contact info and i have YET to speak with a manager or someone from this establishment. I will not be returning or recommending this place either.

The rooms were clean when we arrived and the pool/water park was awesome! There was also free breakfast, an arcade, restaurant, and laundromat for your convenience. Would definitely come again to this place in the future.

Not one bad thing I read was true! Did not see one bug, and trust me I looked. The service was phenomenal from the front desk, cleaning ladies, and life guards. Every person was so happy, and attentive!! We have a 3 year old and 11 year old the water park was the most well ran park I ve ever been to. Life guards are on high alert at all times. I seen 2 different occasions where a child was struggling and they were on it before I could even blink. They have a cool big parrot Coco who comes out daily and visits with the kids. Certain days they also have movies and crafts with him as-well.

Rooms are nice and clean. Beds will have you so relaxed, and the water pressure is amazing in the shower. Parking is so convenient, and everything is in walking distance shops, food, rides, and more!

Amazing hotel!! Water park was the best! We will definitely be coming back! Kids loved the entire hotel!!

Rooms are way smaller then you see online!! The pool is WAY OVER LOADED with people not only people staying at this hotel but they also sell tickets to anyone off the street to go to the water park. If you have small kids this isnt the place to go. There is no one controlling the bigger kids from swimming jumping splashing or trampling your smaller kids!!!!! Also still have yet to get back my 50$ room deposit back on my card and it has been over a week now. And dont bother calling there nobody ever answers the phone not even when you are in your room an need a towel!! Place was a joke from start to finish no order what so ever. We will never be back!!!!! There is so many better places to go I would take this 1 off your list

The water park was fantastic, the room was disappointed, needed to be improved with everything, and the coffee maker smelled like burning plastic, we ordered another one and it had the same smell + roaches came out of it like no one even bother to check it before delivering it. I would go back to the water park but not to the hotel.

I really did not like the place at all. I wanted the children to have something else to do while in orlando. check in is at 4:00 p.m. but the water slides are open from 11a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Both rooms were terrible and didn't even have a microwave.

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a horrible experience. I went through CoCo Key directly to purchase a room and was told one price. When I arrived at the hotel, I was charged another price. I am upset, because of the false advertising and extra charges. Also, when I went to take a shower in the bathroom and there was a roach in there. I have pictures and a video to prove it. Because of that, I did not stay in my room that night. Therefore, I will never stay at this resort again and I will not refer anyone to stay here either. No one has been able to assist me, as far as my money is concerned, and I was not assisted as far as the roach problem. I am not a happy customer and will not return to CoCo Key!

We stayed only 1 night but the girl was very friendly at check-in. The room was cute and a nice size. I believe we got one of the renovated rooms. We were in the back corner and parking was easy. We went to the water park and both my kids had so much fun! Lots to do for every size. The covered toddler area was great except everyone was using it which made it harder to not only watch your own kids but watch everyone else s who were 10-18 years old throwing footballs and pushing kids out of the way to go down the slides. The lifeguards were friendly enough and most took their job very seriously. We then went to the arcade and we paid $10 for an hour of play which we all shared the card so definitely worth it. Some games were out of order, both on purpose and from just not working. No prizes due to Covid 19 and the room was HOT as in you ll be sweating! Later after the water park closed, we went to the stand alone pool. It is not monitored at all! There were people smoking throughout the entire hotel which they were not allowed to do but they were smoking, eating, and drinking in the pool. There were easily 60 people in the pool. Kids of all ages not being supervised, jumping in the hot tub and running into people. It was definitely chaos in that pool. We went to that same pool the next morning before the water park opened and it was still crazy but just not as crowded. The ac in the room was terrible! It was so loud because there was no cover and the 2 pieces had to be pushed together so it would rattle like a train all night! All the boys slept but I only got 2 hours because of that. Overall, stay away from the stand alone pool and get an ac with a cover. Water park is worth it and for what we paid, we would go again.

I'm about ten minutes from booking this hotel and I'm not really sure if I want to now considering the reviews....

The beds were made but they never seep swept the floors. Very poor customer service. We were there for a week and the waterpark was never opened

i went to this resort for memorial day weekend, worst experience ever. i gave my son a can of soda from my cooler so he can eat lunch after we checked out on monday. an employee named Hector came over and demanded for me to remove the soda from the table cause they didnt sell coca cola products, my son a 3yrd was eating hot dog and fries that i purchased from their restaurant. i celebrated my daughters birthday on saturday and no one said anything to me nor to my famaily that rented 6 rooms for the whole weekend. this guy Hector called security cause i gave an attitude bout removing my items from the table. the manager came and all he can say was leave or ill call orange county sheriff dept. ived been there for 3yrs in a row cause its our fam vaca time. i WONT EVER GO BACK TO COCO KEY NOR LET ANY OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS SPENT A PENNY IN THIS PLACE. It was a family vacation and your not gonna let a 3yrd old drink a coke product. the only person that was calm and was very helpful was the security lady that came to us and calm the issue. COCO KEY GETS NO STAR FROM MY FAMILY AND ME. GOTTA GET A NEW VACATION RESORT TO TAKE MY FAMILY TO.

Went in December ......swear is one of da best....friendly staff ....the waterpark is boss...I love it

Lousy, we arrived and the room I had reserved was dirty, we were accommodated in another to which a room like the one we had reserved was evicted and it was also dirty in the two days we were in three rooms. In addition we were not the only ones with the same problem. The photos I took are of the second room the first one was much worse dirty bathroom beds without picking up as the previous guests left, I definitely do not recommend them!

The pictures made the hotel look much nicer and cleaner than it was. I was charged twice for the water park and am still waiting to talk to someone to receive my refund.

Awesome hotel. Love the waterpark, the pool, rooms are nice and clean. Near to everything. I can wait to go back again. So fun and good for whole family.

Not impressed. Had a card system for the shuttle to disney, it was advertised free, but in reality it costed $80 for the ride to disney and back. The wifi is only free for 24 hours which is a major mistake. Why should the people only staying for one night get free wifi while the people staying for more than 24 hours have to pay? The breakfast is also $10 a plate. At most hotels in Orlando the shuttle is free as well as the wifi and breakfast.

When we stayed there the bathroom sink and tub wouldn't drain and it would start flooding the whole entire room cause it turned on whenever I don't know why and phone wouldn't work and heater didn't work so people came and turned the heat to 99 and it started to finally feel like 59 which was warmer than it was before. The people at the front desk said that we couldn't get another room and they didn't clean for room service

My family and I just stayed here. We had to wait an hour and 45 minutes for our rooms to be ready. When I called to inquire why it was taking so long I was told because of Covid they don't have housekeeping, just someone that cleans the rooms. They don't clean very well because the bottom of your feet get dirty walking around the room. The water park was ok but the employees walking around with grumpy looks and attitudes. When we asked about how late the waterpark and arcade were open we got different answers from different employees. They don't have the breakfast either. If you want/need toilet paper or new towels you have to ASK for them. They don't give new ones each morning. There is only 1 entrance/exit for the water park and it's a very long distance from the rooms. All in all, I didn't enjoy it but lucky for us our kids are young enough to think this was a great weekend get away.

Granting 1-star solely on the fact that my kids had a good time. Here s a breakdown on why I wouldn t even give them 1-star otherwise...
ROOM: this hotel is OLD. The room smelled like mildew, the furniture is well-used, the toilet didn t flush (or would run continuously), the shower didn t drain...there was no way for swimsuits or towel to dry due to the humidity in the room.
GROUNDS: the building needs some up-keep. At 9p, half of the vending machines wouldn t take bills...those that did were out-of-stock on water. Also, the ice machines were working out of ice. If we wanted water, we would ve had to drive around.
SLIDES: for the slides that required floats, there were very few available. The lines to wait on a float were longer than the lines to go down the slide. The lifeguard at the top of the slides had no way of knowing when it was clear for the next person to go. It seemed like there was once a functioning light system for this, but they consistently flashed red. There was no signaling between himself at the lifeguard at the bad of the slides. At random, he d tell people to go. This was worrisome as there were very small/young children going down the slides alone. (Which appeared to be a violation of the rules, but weren t enforced)
POOLS: The areas around the two pools were consistently wet...to the point they ve become slimy. We waited until the pools closed to see what sort of up-keep was done after hours. I was hoping they d squeegee the floors to allow them to dry overnight. But, they don t. The water you see in the morning isn t new. It s stagnant. It s a breeding ground for all sorts of bacteria.

I joined my daughter and granddaughter on a Universal adventure. I was less than impressed with the amenities, quality of food, and the bartender's abilities. The towels were small and cheap, none of the ice makers I found worked, and they each had a note taped to them offering a bag of ice for a fee. No thanks, I will pay the extra next time for a more enjoyable stay.

Food is so so.... Outdated gaming area, attentive lifeguards though, I was impressed with the lifeguards

We were a little unsure after reading the reviews but I brought my 7 and 8 year old daughters room was nice we were in building 6. Pool and park was great girls love it here. Staff extremly nice and helpful. Hotel is old with imperfections but clean. Life guards were amazing they take their job serious. Impressive to watch them. I rate it a 5 star on our experience.

I went in August 2018 for the first time with my family we had so much fun that we will be heading back this year in May and I can't wait Orlando 2019

Literally the nastiest motel like place I have ever been to. I killed 3 roaches and there was mold in the shower and I only stayed 1 night. Be aware of the hidden resort fee and parking fee honestly if you want quality service DO NOT come here, I wish I can save people from this horrible place, My son and I didn t even go to the water park because we were disgusted by the nastiness of the room, I just know that recycled water was not well maintained, I was paranoid sleeping there the whole night! Please if you can go to the holiday inn resort or somewhere else because this place is not worth your money and not worth your worry of your health being effected by a moldy room!! Please I m warning you!

It's nice very kid friendly was a good price for over night say there are remodeling at this time breakfast could be free for the price you pay for the rooms free coffee would nice at the front

I wish I could give this place a zero. We booked our room arrived the system was down could not pull up m6 reservation. Ok come back after 4 or you could call and cancel with whomever you booked with. So I was like ok we could do a few things in the area to buy time. Call 4:12 pm the guy got my name and number and some how pulled u0 my reservation. Get back to hotel (DUMP) and do everything manually because system is still down. Ok get in the room a stink mold mildew smell very strong soon as you hit the door. The tub was nasty water leaked all night long water was on the floor soon as we got inside room. Ac was super loud. No MICROWAVE OR FRIDGE. This place could do much better no fitted sheet on bed the sheets was dirty looked like no one changed them. This is my first and last time coming. It s could be a really nice place if you get someone who really really care about the place. How come we have to pay for 93 but you guys gives us 87 that s not fair to the people who are planning a great vacation and it s ruined by false pictures and lies. The furniture was dirty the place needs to be shut down and completely renovated and updated. It could be done with all the money being spent for a motel 6 feeling not a resort feeling. West gate is nice but was trying to accommodate my son this trip was planned for him and ruined.

Not worth the money. We stayed in building 4. Our room smelled musty and felt damp. The A/C would not go below 75. In the middle of the night it turned off and did not come back on even though it was hot in the room. Our door would not shut/lock properly. We had to slam the door shut of not you could push the door open. We found this out when we came back from dinner and our 4 year old simply pushed the door. The arcade would have been great if not for most of the games being broken. Go somewhere else for breakfast, you can get so much more for $13.00 a person. Everything that should have been hot was not. And it's not a great selection. Check out is at 11 however starting at 9 housekeeping knocks on the door every half hour to see when you are leaving. We felt very rushed. The only redeeming factor was the water park. It is excessively chlorinated but our kids had a great time. Visit at your own risk.

Not a place I would of picked to stay at but it was chosen for my grandson's birthday. My room was ok. It was clean and had a mini-fridge. For some reason they didn't get local channels on the TV. They have one "adult" pool that was full by 9 am with lots of kids and no place to sit. They have a covered pool the closed the first day because of passing storm. The third pool was a water slide. The kids loved it. Food was not very good.

This was one of the most pathetic Hotel ( or should i saw low grade motel) in my entire life. Please don't ever stay here. We had booked this for 3 nights and after a spending a dreadful night we immediately checked out the very next morning. Rooms and bathrooms were so dirty that i don't think they even have a house keeping team on site. I would not even send my worst enemy to spend even half a day here. This place should seriously shut down for ever. Hate it.

Resort and water park were dirty. Food at restaurant was poor quality. Our room was not ready till after 6pm. We will not be back. I gave 2 stars because the kids had a good time.

This resort is FILTHY ! I booked a reservation 3 weeks ahead came to orlando for the disrespectful clerk OZZIE to say that it was canceled he then told me that if i was willing to pay $200 more than my original reservation i could stay . Exhausted from traveling i paid plus $40 to park . Find the room and immediately walk into a musty mildewy basement smelling jail cell ! The navy blue pullout couch had VISIBILE LARGE WHITE STAINS EVERYWHERE ! The stains completely covered the couch the blanket poorly tucked into the bed also was covered in mystery stains and also cigarette burn holes ! I immediately walked downstairs to get a refund and to my surprise there was a line of customers complaining of no hot water in rooms no watee pressure in the showers etc . Once AGAIN OZZIE was very disrespectful and belittling customers THIS IS NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE ONLINE ! The one star i gave should go to the guy working his first day there who was obviously embarrassed to be apart of such a circus

The water park was cool but the Hotel it self was horribly overpriced and parking is expensive and Packed!! And not to mention when we left the room to go to Universal studios,someone came into our room and Stole our Food and Drinks I wish I could give them 0 but unfortunately I cannot

I went here to have a birthday party and e wasn't allowed to have a cake or more than a max of 6 people in the room.

Not sure why this never received a response from the management.
This pool cleanliness issue is not important or is this why people s skin was burning a few days after we checked out? Someone tried to shock and over coordinated?
Sad really the guards and people maintaining the chemicals in the pool should really be educated on how important the job is and how to do it properly!

What a lovely hotel, clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Situated near bus stops and taxi ranks. Twenty minute walk from Universal Theme park and 5 minute walk to Wet and Wild. Can highly recommend.

Enjoyed My Memorial Day Vacay at THIS Location!!! It was Disappointing that the Gameroom and the Hot tub were CLOSED, because its not like ANYONE was Practicing Social Distancing ANYHOW!!! So, why Pretend!?! The Staff were MARVELOUS and Extremely Accommodating!!! This is My 1ST Visit HERE and Hopefully, it won't be My LAST!!$ Look Forward to Enjoying Another VACAY HERE!!!

My family and I enjoyed every minute at the resort the employees were amazing to us. Angel Is one of the managers and an angel she was we had some traveling issues and she was very nice enough to accommodate us For our troubles! Overall was a great experience my daughter says it was the best vacation yet! Must do again! Rooms are nice and clean hotel food is good and very affordable.

Having a blast on our first day here, will be here for another night! The room is awesome, staff is awesome, they work so hard...kids had a blast at the water park today, they can't wait to go back in the morning, everything is so clean here, Coco Key Water Resort Rocks...definitely coming back next summer. We couldn't ask for a better place to be at right now.

They did not tell me and I asked 5 others guest if they were told about a 50 room charger..when checking in.. and the manager was rude ..This is dirty and smell..i will never go back. ...a d if I could I would give it a. 0 star

Decent waterpark for small children, took our 4 year old and he loved it.

My family is coming in for my nieces birthday and between 33 families we booked 9 rooms I made a mistake on my reservation and put that I was arriving a day earlier than I was when I attempted to modify it 5 minutes later the system wouldn t allow me to, when I called not only did they refuse to do the modifications but increased the rate. This will definitely be our last stay.

If you re expecting CoCo Key to compare to your stay at the Disney Resort or Universal Resort you ll be highly disappointed. Once you get that out of your mind I promise you ll have a really great time.

It s true that the room decor is in need of an overhaul/upgrade but as a 2nd time guest I can say the rooms are clean and spacious.

Guest services provided speedy service. The staff was very friendly and polite. Well with the exception of Mary who answered the guest services phone when I was checking out. Perhaps she was having a bad morning.

Things that can be approved upon... I was offered upgrades but unfortunately when I checked in the upgrades were not available. I was told that I could pay extra for a late checkout but was told the morning of checkout that my checkout time couldn t be extended.

With the exception of what I mentioned we had a really good time. My almost 4 year old granddaughter had a blast!!! I ll give my visit 4 stars.

The first room I had was musty and moldy. We changed and the next was better, but still musty.

So much fun! The staff was fantastic and accommodating. If storms happen, the water park shuts down for safety, but the arcade is a blast and makes certain kids won't be disappointed! A great way to end a trip to Orlando.

This hotel has declined rapidly since my first visit four years ago. Check in is at 4, so I get there early and just let him know I'm there and go wait by the water park which was closed due to weather. I ended up not getting my room until 5: 30. Totally unacceptable. most of the vending machines have something wrong with them they will either take the money or the coin slot jammed. I've been visiting CoCo Key for several years now on a regular basis and I'm sad to say this will be my last year going.

Family time was the best time here. We had a blast with the water park and the family game area. Drinks were on us.

The hotel is not as advertised...the cleanliness of the room could be better. Had issues with the plumbing upon check in & there were some types of bugs in the room. You live & learn...will not stay here again

Dirty. More like a cheap motel than a resort... I feel bad making my kids sleep in such a nasty room. The room didn't get dark at night either, and the shower made me feel nastier. The water park was ok, nothing too great. Half of the slides were closed. The parking lot was also unsafe feeling. I won't be coming back. Much better options in the area.

What good memories are left there, family atmosphere a paradise

Glorified motel, room smelled extremely musty. Was charged an ADDITIONAL $35 "Resort Fee" after paying a set price on Priceline. Front Desk was not only unhelpful, but also rude about it. Got to my room, keys didn't work. Had to walk back downstairs, get in my car and drive around the building to get a new one. Again, it's a glorified motel. Literally NO Power Outlets on the walls, only one on the desk 10 feet away from the bed. Older TV, half of the channels don't work.
Paper Thin Walls, noise from adjoining rooms and everyone walking through the parking lot sounds like they're sitting right next to me. Leaky Bathtub periodically poured (not dripped) water all night, which was still VERY audible with the door closed (back to those Paper Thin Walls). The best this hotel ever looked was in my rearview. NEVER again.
