I just left this place and wanted to say I really enjoyed it. Took my grandson and 3 yr old granddaughter she couldn t get enough of the water slide had a blast.I was also happy with my room and front desk service I will definitely go back.

They lie to you ... the photos that publish the place nothing to see ... and when you book you pay the cost ... and upon arrival you have to pay 200 extra dollars per room ... very bad experience

this is a great place for families and adults get away the resort is absolutely amazing there is a pool close to the main lobby. And then towards the back of the resort there is a full fledge water park with baby pools lifeguards on standby. We were able to relax in our room and not have to worry about her older kids running around the park as they have lifeguards everywhere watching all the children and is a really safe. They have a great breakfast buffet in the morning all you could eat breakfast buffet at lunch time they open up another restaurant. This location is right in the middle of everything it's 5 minutes from SeaWorld 5 minutes from Universal Studios 10 minutes from Walt Disney World. The front desk staff of the resort or amazing they took care of me and my family for our 3 nights that we stayed and we had the best room with the best view I will be definitely returning with my family this is going to be my new spot everytime I visit Fort Lauderdale. I could see volcano Bay from my room but who wants to go there when the resort has its own water park.

We arrived in the resort almost midnight and we we're very tired and the customer service was okay. We got to our room and it was nice and clean but the next day I had a itchy skin all over my body and I was thinking that it was the bed sheet and blankets was not change. And no one ask us to add a microwave in the room and no wifi the whole time in our room. I called 2 to 3 times and still not working. I booked for 1 week but we decided to just go somewhere than staying here. We end up checking out early.

The place is great, period. The pools are set to a certain temperature so people can even have a swim in the cold with a problem. It has a water park with about 3 major water slides -- really fun. We ordered two rooms which were linked to eachother, for 2 families. The service is great. Although, the gym is not 24 hours like it says on their website.

Hotel was nice, the water park is fun, but is a bit small, but it was still really fun

We had a great two days there. We are planning a longer stay in the near future. Our room was exactly as pictured. It was spacious and clean. The price was amazing, especially for what is there. You can stay on property and have a great time. The water park was clean and fun. The game room has all kinds of games for all ages. We bought the 20 game card and had fun for almost two hours. The food is affordable and tasted good. I didn't get a chance to get in the front pool or the hot tub but went to see it. Both are good sized and the area was nice. The Tiki bar was great. The male tender made great drinks and the price was reasonable. All the staff were very polite and nice. Every employee we seen or went past took the time to say hello and asked if we were happy or if we needed anything. I don't want to forget about the daily activities they have. Although we didn't bring the kids, its nice to know they have activities for them for when we do go back. The best thing for us was not only being very reasonably priced for what is there and included, the location is perfect. There are so many places to see, go to for fun, shopping, and dining, all within walking distance. For me it was great because if I have to walk a mile, I would prefer to drive. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to relax or have fun and who doesn't want to spend time driving around in Orlando traffic trying to enjoy themselves. For us, a mother and father who wanted some us time, it was great. We saw many families there and didn't see one frawn on any of their kids faces, nor theirs. The only reason I gave it a 4 is because our air unit made a noise throughout the night. In fairness, we didn't report it because it didn't keep us from sleeping nor was it overly loud. In a nut shell, we enjoyed our stay and are already planning to go back, this time with the kids because they will love it.

The pool area was very dirty with garbage on the floor throughout the area, there weren't enough inner tubes to ride the rides, long waits, not enough help, not enough life guards on duty.

The rooms were beautiful and VERY clean, however the staff barely spoke ANY English and were very RUDE! Wouldn't issue refunds as we paid almost $800 for 2 nights here and was rained out and unable to actually enjoy the water park. They only actually have 1 regular pool and 1 hot tub and it's swarming with children splashing you. Deff a more kid friendly atmosphere not for adults!!! But the hotel aspect, the rooms were beautiful and clean!! Even have safes in the room for your personal belongings.

Can you say bedbugs.

Checked the beds when I checked in they looked ok but the next day my son was covered in bites and when we left the hotel I seen one crawling on the nightstand.

Good prices, lots of water activities for the kids.

Decided to stay a 2nd night. Waited 4 hours for our room to be ready. They gave our room away. Offered an upgrade that was supposed to have a pull out sof a. No sofa. They changed our room and this has no ac, no lights in the bathroom and the listen light is flickering. 6 hours later we still have no room. Buffet for breakfasts isn't open but we weren't told. Park closed at 8pm. Was supposed to be later. Come on. You can do better than this.

Not impressed! Beds sucked, sink in bathroom didn't work. Air Conditioning thermostat didn't work. Beds were like sleeping on a sheet of plywood. 6 cop cars in parking lot dealing with thugs when we got back from dinner. PICK ANOTHER PLACE

Water park was good, but wish it had a hot tub. Also washrooms were quite gross.

I loved staying at Coco Key water resort. The service there was great and the water is clean. I called room service and they came up with what i wanted immediately. But the best part is its a great kid-friendl enviroment very close to downtown and regular disney and many other great Orlando places. I would reccomend this place for any and EVERY bod.

A great value for the money. From my experience, this is a four-star plus property for the money and for what you get. My room was clean and comfortable. Friendly staff. The waterpark was excellent, especially since it is free for guests! Lifeguards all around to keep everybody safe. The property was clean. Not perfect, but the staff was constantly picking things up, cleaning things up, making things look as nice as possible. Nice landscaping, although some more mulch would be nice. I saw absolutely no evidence of bugs anywhere on the property, as some reviews have suggested. I stayed in building 6, which they call the tower. My room has been updated and renovated, although you won't mistake it for the Ritz-Carlton. I highly recommend CoCo Key and have provided some pictures if that helps.

We used a daily pass for the water park for the kids and they loved it. We did not stay in the rooms and therefore I cannot comment on them. The water park has 2 swimming pools and several water slides for all ages. It also has 3 very high water slides with big drops for older kids and adults. The kids enjoyed every minute of the park.

Love this place this was our 2nd time staying and we have a blast. The kids love the water park. Its fun for the whole family with 3 pools, 1 water tower, 2 bars, a restaurant, a big arcade room, a exercise room and much more.

Very nice. Water park was lovely; the kids enjoyed every bit. We had two rooms and because they double booked our room so we had to stay far from each other. Besides that, great time.

This has been a horrible place. The fees that they don't tell you about until you get here are crazy. 1 is the water park. You have to pay no matter what. And the park has only been opened 1 day. But yet we are paying for it. Our room has mold in the bathroom. They are overpriced in their store. The laundry mat inside the hotel says credit card or quarters only. The credit card part doesn't work and there is no place to get the quarters. I am very disappointed in the place. The staff, well some have been ok, and others just plain rude. The housekeeping has been great. I will never suggest this place to anyone. The sad thing is I had 5 families going to come here on their vacations and I have since told them to stay away. Thanks for being a disappointment on my first trip to Orlando.

the lady at front desk , manager told me my room was given to someone else due to the policy "first come first serve", that i could have my money back or sleep in a office room that they will accommodate as a room,

The only reason I'm giving 2 stars is because the location is perfect and it includes the waterpark. However, for our entire six day stay 1/3 of the park (Parrot Perch) was closed. We were never informed of this and there was no compensation for the inconvenience . (Side note, they do provide small towels at the hotel pool and water park. That was nice.)
As far as the room...it had a terrible odor (to the point where we bought a room freshener our second day) and they were NOT clean! I have never stayed anywhere that would leave my families feet black from walking around barefoot. Our feet were more clean after walking barefoot outside! They do, eventually, make your bed daily but good luck getting properly restocked on anything or the room being cleaned and vacuumed. When you call to get the items they don't answer so you have to go to the front desk to ask. The lamps were extremely dusty. Our iron did not work. Oh my, the list could go on and on. Luckily we were really only in the room to sleep.
Good luck if you choose to stay there. But, again, the location is amazing. Tons of stuff within walking distance and minutes away from other attractions!

This place actually charges for parking.
The room is clean. Coffee cup are for water plastic cups . for what you pay next time is holiday inn.

Super awful and they charged me the hotel fee twice, once when I paid online and the second when I swiped my card for the 50 fee in case there was a problem, they did not charge it because there was no problem in the room but they charged me 68 Apart from what they had already charged in my reservation, I gave in that to use, its park, its parking and its WiFi and in the reservation it says that it is free. But I already wrote to whom I answered and they have not given me an answer, so they are attentive and better rent in another motel, here they charge you for using their pools.

I grew up in hotels and this place definitely tops worst 5! screwed up our rooms upon arrival, promised a microwave but had to ask several times to actually receive it. Rooms are disgusting, under the sheets you shouldn't find black specs all over the place and if you run your finger across any table or dresser you'll find PLENTY OF DUST!!! prices are OUTRAGEOUS! restaurants on property are not accomodating, they refused to sell me a container of dipping sauce for my 4yr olds dinner and they forgot an entire entree. Rooms ARE NOISY AS CAN BE! If people on adjacent rooms ate in bathroom you can hear absolutely EVERYTHING !!! If on bottom floor you can hear people pulling luggage across the floors and if kids are above you forget resting. We also had an unexpected alarm in the am go off and morning of checkout our do not disturb sign disappears and had house keeping knocking on our door at 9am to see if we are gone!!! check out isnt until 11am why are we being asked if we are leaving!!! absolutely atrocious stay here at coco keys! NEVER WILL RETURN even w a free offer. Save yourself the aggravation and look into another hotel!

The water park was wonderful , but the room there smelled of mildew , outlets in the bathroom didn t work , hair dryer was broken , went to front desk requesting for a replacement and they said they would send one , no one ever came . The exhaust in the bathroom was broken and the faucet in the bathroom dripped for 7 nights and no one fixed it despite multiple requests . And to boot on our last night there the whole resort was woken up to 1 hour of fire alarm in all the rooms , with no response from the front desk for an explanation . A hotel guest clarified the false alarm and why we were all woken up . Extremely disappointing for the amount spend for a week s stay .The breakfast was less than sub par , with salty grits and burnt pancakes , for an inclusive breakfast package my girls ate cereal for 1 week , Never again .

Everything was great.cleaned everything and they made sure social distancing was taken place.

DO NOT fall for their "deals" or "promotions"! I just called to make a reservation for a $73 per night promo and after all their BS, it came out to $212 per night! LIES!!!! ALL LIES!!!!!!

Perfect day on the weather , the hotel closed the water park. All the kids waiting around. The only reaon we and all people book this hotel is for waterpark. Una falta de respeto.
The room is clean. Ac is good.
Breakfast $ 12.00 for continental breakfast. Forget that not good.

We went to front desk. Manager said we have to speak water park manager. Michael, but he as not here.
When you booken online never said. Water park will be close for low season to saving money.
All the hotel orlando has room, ac, pool, the only reason we come to this hotel is the water park. This is my third time here , but the first we have to wait to open a water park.
Plus one of pictures is the water park running so early without people. Please be sure before book it to ask if they will the water park open all day. Is not there is a lot option here in orlando.

We had a blast! From the friendly front desk to the awesome drinks at the bar, and the water park was a scream! Even loved the gift shopshop, pools and (grotto style waterfall) hot tub. Gloria runs a superb show! Hidden gem! So much for the kids to do!!
Our sincere thank you to Gloria and the staff. You all made our (too) short stay away from home a delightful memory filled visit! Love to you all and especially Miss. Gloria,

Bad services at the Resturant full of hidden fee when book on 3rd party side , great for kids room are decent

Not a recommended hotel by far!!! VERY POOR SERVICE VERY POOR STAFF AND VERY POOR MANAGEMENT!! We were asked to leave the hotel because we did not want to follow the pool rules when it came to my daughter who was born without a leg and wears a prosthetic leg they told her she was NOT ALLOWED TO WEAR HER LEG IN THE POOL OR TO GO DOWN THE SLIDES!!! Absolutely terrible people and how they run stuff!!

Great water park for the kids and young teens. Horrible mix adult drinks. We celebrated our daughter 7th Birthday party here and of course, a Disney Frozen theme. We had lots of fun though, her 6th Birthday party was celebrated here too.

My kids had a great time at the water park... Despite the rain closing the big slides.

The room was ok they definitely need to upgrade some things my room smells like mildew the A/C unit is noisy and the toilet was running in the middle of the night it's no microwave on the resort if you wanted to warm something up.... my daughter had goggles on at the pool yesterday and the next day comes around oh she can't have them on like really I don't see the harm in having on some goggles they have way to many young people working here half doing there job....had a view of the water park which was good... stores was right outside the resort which is a plus plus

We stayed in a double queen water park view room. I always bring extra pillows since most hotels don't have the best but I was shocked when I walked in and each bed had 4 fluffy pillows! The room was clean and a.c. worked great. Main pool is open until 10 pm which was awesome since the water park closes at 7. We spent the day at the water park and the kids had a blast but the water park is one reason they got 4 stars instead of 5. The main attraction is the water park but some of the stuff at minnow lagoon didn't work which my 3 year old was bummed since you have to be tall to ride any slides. My 5 year old had a blast and was able to ride most of the slides. But other water park allow my 3 year old to ride some of those medium size slides so I'm not sure why they have the height so high. Other than the few not working things and the height rules we had a great time. When my 3 year old is taller we will definitely go back!

It's fun and not to crowded, but definitely not worth an entrance fee of 30 bucks.

The place was filthy. The floors in my room were so dirty that immediately after a shower the bottoms of my feet were nearly black. The walls were so paper thin that I could hear the people next to me sneeze. The pools were dirty, the hot tub was luke warm. The A/C unit sounded more like a plastic covered hot rod engine.They didn't clean the rooms, just made the bed and didn't give me any toilet paper. Oh, did I mention the ROACHES? No wonder it was so cheap. If I could give it zero stars, I would.

The water park was ok but room amenities were lacking for a family.. The mini fridge was on the floor( not a great place for people with back problems) and not on a counter. ... no microwave in room to warm up food. ... Tried to go to lobby late night to print airline boarding passes and was told it was close.. wifi not great and no instructions in room about using hotel services including wifi..

Had to go to front desk to ask them what hot spot to use because no one answered the phone when we called from the room.

Omg this place is atrocious it is nothing like shown on the internet... the rooms smell like a foreigners convenience store... the bathroom tubs and sinks leak they have black and red mold in the showers the rooms are filthy the house cleaning staff barged into my room on four different occasions basically just knocking as they came in... I would recommend anyone considering staying at this location to reconsider it was horrible and almost ruined mine and my wife's 17th wedding anniversary.... as you can see I have not one good thing to say about this hotel...DONT VACATION HERE!!! You have been warned...

I agree, but maybe I need a little security, people outside the facilities, that is, they are not guess or workers, they walk through the corridors ...

Driving in felt like an episode of breaking bad, about 15 cop cars with guns drawn and everybody minding their own business like is a normal occurrence, never made it inside as they had yellow tape and almost couldn't park, found a different hotel the same night while kids cried in the car

Went to go check in early. We Was told the rooms wasn't ready and they'll call us and notify us when it's ready. That's cool, no problem there. 2 hours later, We got a call from the hotel saying our room was ready and we drove back right away. We get to the desk to check in, they tell us that they just GAVE our room away. Just that QUICK!! That's bad business

Rude people all kinds of added fees i was booked at a price showed up and cost doubled. My grand kids were sad we had to find another hotel. No fun for kids. So sad

Decent place to stay. Be prepared to pay 40$ more per day then the advertised price.

We stayed in 2 adjoining rooms in building 1 as a family of 6 with 2 adults and 4 children. The rooms are clean, yet dated. While they have comfortable beds and linens with modern electronics, the tubs are in dire need to drain cleaning, air conditioner new filters and vents, as well as checks on the towel hooks on the bathroom doors. This property has pools and Waterpark activities. However the guests tend to leave trash and towels out which seem to go uncleaned throughout the day and evening hours.

Stayed here one night after work with my 3 boys and wife. It is huge.. lots of water park, huge indoor arcade. Room was awesome. Will go back as soon as I can.

Water Park, banquet room, and arcade rank A++... The rooms, however, should really be attended to. Maintenance required to bring this hotel back up to participate.

I don't believe this should be rated as a 3 star hotel, it is so poorly maintained. The room is musty and it just feels like a dingy motel through and through, however what bothered me the most is how badly the bathroom smells, it's like using a public restroom at a truck stop, reeks of urine. Its family friendly of course the kids love the pool/slides but the indoor section of the water park just makes my skin crawl, it smells and there is black algae alllll around the pool area its in need of a power wash bad. Would NOT recommend!

Our room was infested with tiny little bugs or spiders. Not sure what they were. Took a video of them. Only response I got was they would let housekeeping know . They got in our clothes , food, luggage !!! Disgusting !

Staff was very friendly. Rooms need to be updated, esp. carpets (smelly) and bathrooms (1970's). Water resort was great.

To start, my family and I walked into a room that smelled like wet dog, the flooring was peeling up, the paint was chipping...what most people call a roach motel. Then it was confirmed by my wife finding 2 cockroaches in the bathtub. Told the front desk, apologetically they reassign a new room with a loud broken air conditioner and the sounds of drunken domestic violence coming through the walls.....never again.

I went to the water park with a group and had an excellent day and there were many people watching the children and the park was clean and with many places for the children to enjoy.

The reviews weren't great on this location, and I have to admit that we couldn't get the refrigerator or microwave to work the first night....a couple of the outlets didn't work...we couldn't get the coffeepot to work....and we weren't too impressed initially. But, after getting ahold of the right person at the front desk, they were very quick in sending up a new coffeepot on our first night there and in getting the repair guy up on the second day of our stay.... Can't complain too much if they are willing to try to fix things. A decent place to stay....NOT top of the line....NO free breakfast....but not bad otherwise. The French's from Kansas

Edit:. The hot tub has not worked since we got here on Wednesday. Today is Sunday. We keep getting told they are working on it. Wednesday, it was drained. Since then, they have put water in it. Yesterday, the Jets weren't working, but the water was circulating. Today, the water is NOT circulating, so it is just warm water sitting there...kind of gross, if you ask me. Housekeeping has only been in every other day to clean the room and make the beds.

Edit:. When we checked out yesterday, I saw a $24 per day charge for the water resort.....which wasn't even open the day we got there. CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS....and tell them if you don't plan on using their water resort. I will be calling this afternoon for a refund on the resort fee.....

I am currently staying at the CoCo Key Hotel and Water Resort in Orlando with my family and so far the experience has been great. We have a child and they offer free kids club which is great if you want to leave the kids and go explore the area. There's also lots of eateries within walking distance from the hotel in case you want to grab a quick bite before you go shopping or go to any one of the many theme parks around the area. The hotel rooms are spacious and are equipped with a small refrigerator, safe, a/c unit and 2 queen sized beds. The staff is friendly and helpful. We are definitely planning on coming back to this resort before this year ends.

Great hotel with water park. Resort fee was well worth it!
