This place is wonderful!! The hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The room has was amazing. I loved everything about it. I especially liked the dvd kiosk. I'm glad I chose this location. I would definitely return. I certainly recommend it! A great place for a family vacation as well as if you're traveling with adults. There is enough room for everyone!

Intake folk were nice n efficient, TV in bedroom did not work, the TV picture quality in the living area was sub par, the room service pizza was excellent and arrives in an expedient manner. The view is not what the brochure says it was but overall I would stay here again.

It was an "ok" experience. Nothing really "Grand". I actually like the regular Hilton brands better. The only differences are the added water toys for kids and recreational activities offered. They don't really offer HH status and perks for these facilities. Oh and checkout time is 10am and don't bother asking for late checkout even if you're a diamond member.

Excellent location and room. I give three stars because we were there for a timeshare event from Hilton where the sales representative and the aggressive financial adviser kept us there for three hours while we kept saying no.

The TL;DR version: I went here for a short vacay and not only did I feel like home away from home, but there's a lot of things you can do in the area.

Staff:
Every staff member I encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful and not in a creepy, "Get Out" kind of way. I was told by the front desk that this was "home away from home". Now that's super cheesy, but they meant it - they gave us a number to text and if we needed toothpaste, towels, etc. they brought it up and that kind of service blew me away.

The room:
I got a single bedroom which came with a fridge, microwave, a flatscreen tv (with a dvd player), and a king sized bed. A really good touch were the usb charging ports that are located next to the beds.

The Location:
THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST part about the hotel. (Just a warning: I don't frequent Orlando so there might be "better" spots.)

This hotel is literally surrounded with stuff to do - there's an indoor
go-karting/arcade, the Orlando eye, an escape room and a chain of restaurants and Universal is not that far away. Malls are close by (~15-20 mins away) and if you're not the outgoing type, there are TWO Barnes and Nobles close by.

The amenities:
The hotel came with a pool area that's got some activities (the front desk gives you a calendar on what's going on in the month). The pool area also has a hot tub, a kiddy play area and a water slide. Apart from the pool area, there's a gym (haven't gone in), a bar (great mimosas and they serve starbucks),a nintendo wii in the lobby (mario kart? mario kart.), and a breakfast are. Now, there isn't a continental breakfast, but they serve some real-deal breakfast -- none of the microwaveable scrambled eggs at other places.

I have been a member of Hilton Honors for more than 12 years, this is by far the worst service I have received. Mainly due to the attitude and approach of the Hilton Grand Vacation people, including their "managers". Horrible, Horrible, Horrible!

My parents stayed here when they came down to visit. The kids had a fantastic time in the recreation area. They got to swim, play ping pong, and even some video games. There was also a place to rent movies in the lobby. The rooms were pretty spacious and comfortable. Also, all the staff I interacted with were very courteous and helpful. We really enjoyed our time here.

Invited for a promotional stay. No housekeeping amenities during 3 day stay! Promotional guests were singled out for services. Restaurant food and service was very good and paid for separately.

I booked a 1-night, Studio with kitchenette room for my son's 7th birthday celebration on a Sunday. The water slide in particular with the splash pad is what attracted me at first when I saw it on their website. Check-in time was at 4pm but I called ahead of time and the front desk clerk said all of the hotel's amenities were open to use before 4pm check-in time, and they would text us when the room was available. So my family and I arrived around 2:30 and hung out in the pool area til a few mins before 4pm check-in cause it rained and the staff told us to get out. We did not receive a text as instructed, however, our room was readily available once we inquired at the front desk. The room was located on the 3rd floor, with a pool view. Nice and clean to hotel standards, the employees were extremely friendly. Not a bother in the world. The kids had a blast at the pool, which was the highlight of our stay. Definitely coming back and already referred this hotel to others.

I've thought long and hard about how to rate this hotel.
First: It is absolutely not a resort. It's simply a hotel that charges a resort fee of $25 a night. (Which I didn't have to pay because I used points)
Second : It is $18 a night to park! The excuse given is that it's across the street from the Convention Center. How does that make any sense? It has keycard entry so why would you have to charge the customers?
Third: no laundry on site. I expected this to be like the other two HGVC resorts that we've stayed at in the Orlando area. No full kitchen and no laundry anywhere on property.
Fourth: No activities for kids or anyone like they do at the other HGVC resorts down the road. Again, this is a hotel, not a resort at all.
Fifth: Housekeeping was really bad. She didn't replace the towels each day. She simply re-folded them. And one day our towels smelled like mildew. The bathroom floor was never mopped while we were there. (6 nights)
Sixth: you can't use a luggage cart. They are for the bellman only. So you have to use a bellman and tip. Not that I minded tipping but I would like the choice

Most of the staff seemed nice.

Overall, it was very disappointing. You really wouldn't know how disappointing unless you had stayed at HGVC at Sea World or the one on International Drive. I used a years worth of points to pay for this week and that's another reason I was so upset. The rooms are also VERY small compared to other HGVC. Like I said , this is just a hotel like any other that I stay at when I travel for work every week. It's not a resort and certainly the free internet and movie rentals are not worth the $25 a night resort fee. I understand that they are working on expanding and making this into a HGVC resort but until then, stop ripping people off with the "resort fee" and ridiculous parking fees.

If you have a choice, definitely stay at the one at Sea world and don't waste your money on this one.

So this guy named matias mateas matias from chile is a real class act. Walked into a meeting telling me how some people are analytical or logical. Then there are Indians (after the fact I tell him that I am from Nepal) that they like to talk to their whole family before making a decision or just be a show off. Then tells me how I need to make a "choice" between a Pepsi or a coke which is a same thing as marking a like altering decision.

Hilton - word of advice. Don't hire racist managers. Never again.

The property is ok and the location is really good for access to Orlando tourist spots. That saved it from a one star. But our visit was part of a Hilton Grand Vacations sales presentation. I travel and stay at Hilton properties a good bit, but this sales presentation and the sales manager that spoke to us before we left have turned me against anything Hilton. The guy was just rude after we told them we weren't going to make a purchase that day. I'll never do a Hilton Grand Vacations presentation again and certainly wouldn't buy a time share from them. And thanks to this after I use up my current Hilton points, I'll select another hotel for my business.

Great new Hilton owned resort. Great location o. Orlando. Great rooms and size. Fully furnished. Great views. Parking garage is 5 levels. Onsite bar and restaurant. Great hotel staff and management. Only bad thing is that this is the 1st Hilton resort that did not have a washer and dryer in room. They have room service in case you get hungry. Manager Brian the manager at that time resolved the issue I had. He was able to take care of it. I will stay here again
