Bought my graduation cap and gown recently. Can't wait to graduate UNT!! My four years in this University went super fast! I've visited Barnes and Noble for multiple times but this place is cleaner than other Barnes and noble. Also, if you want to buy UNT themed apparels, then you should come to this place and try on before you buy them. Good bye UNT!
You can almost buy anything here. From book to electronics to food. This place is great, I wish it could have been a bit bigger similar to Cal poly pomona's bookstore.
Overpriced books and materials for students who have very little money. Better option is ordering online or renting somewhere else
Service is usually good, and it's a clean place with a variety of things for sale. Everything is way overpriced though.
This is mainly for text books and school clothes. Don't go thinking you'll find normal Barnes and Noble stuff here.
Get your textbooks early and know what you need before you go. I did that and everything went super smooth
I found a really awesome manga at this bookstore it was called Girl From The Other side. I checked it out and really loved it.
Called at least 10 times in a row at 10 am with no answer. But they have good service in the store.
This bookstore is petty nice but the books and school supplies are more expensive than at other stores. However, I've been able to get them to buyback my books for 50% of the original price I paid.
Every time I go I look for the Sport Kilts that you can only buy from here, and they never have one. That really disappoints me. Otherwise, all of their gear is generic stuff for exorbitant prices. I don't know about the actual bookstore, but their merch isn't worth the prices they charge

The two employees I talked to just told me to ask other employees. I just wanted someone to look up a book for me.

I only buy from here when I have to. Everything is over price. The texts books they sell can be bought cheeper online or other book store both new and old. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Trips here are quick and even quicker if you get help from the staff.

Overpriced thematic garbage. With how much we make for the University in underpaid labor, recognition, and tuition our books should be free, our supplies reasonable, and our lives shouldn't be surrounded by corporations looking to make a buck on our necessities.

It was easy finding what I needed, however they do not price match despite the numerous large banners saying "We price match textbooks!' The Campus Bookstore down the street had it for $28 cheaper and Barnes and Noble still refused the price match. Just a warning for when you go, do not hold high expectations for them to match the price.

It's a place where students are forced to spend 400 dollars on Non resellable textbooks. Ascioate what emotions you will.
They sold me three differential equations books (same exact ones) and told me I needed all of them then gave me a hard time about getting a refund on them. They also tried to sell me an organic book for my quantitative analysis class - which was not needed. I have also had several other incidents where they sell me the wrong book for the class.
The bookstore has just about anything you need and more, but at inflated prices, especially with textbooks. Still, the merchandise selection is great.

Almost every school supply item is overpriced and you can practically find the same thing at walmart for less. However, the school merchandize is amazing. Yes, it is pricey, but oh my gosh the merchandize is worth the money. Clothing, decor, decals, mugs, frames, etc. They do not accept flex here! Don't try it lol.

As we all know, Barnes & Noble is a great place, super neat, well organized, lots of cool products, everything I would want in a shopping experience. The prices are super high, though.
Son needed some things for school, they have everything a student or parents could want to show support for the university. Staff was very and attentive.
Barnes & Noble at UNT offers a wide selection of academic materials and Eagle merchandise. It is everything you can expect from a store on campus; it provides everything you could possibly need in the most convenient location but at a high price. Aside from that, it is usually not too busy and is visually appealing. Once I needed help and an older woman who works here was very friendly to me, so that was a pleasant experience.
I'll start with I have had no problems for 3 years but this semester has been very disappointing. I ordered a book two weeks ago and have not received it. I went into the store and was told it would be ready a week ago. I have called to cancel it for multiple days and have not even been able to talk to anybody, left multiple voicemails, sent an email and have heard nothing. Not an update on my order or a cancelation notice. I wanted to give more stars but lack of communication is extremely disappointing.
Pre-ordered a book, they couldn't price match because the book has not come in. When I pick up the book they won't price match because the receipt they give me is not the same as my original receipt, so they told me to come back with the book. When I go back the next day with the receipt and the book, they say that since the competitor did not have the book in stock they could not price match. They would not let me return the book because I left with the book the day before and the return period ended two days prior, which no one told me. They wasted my time for a week and a half, always having an excuse, and lying to my face.
Asked for help in the store but they took a long time and their prices are definitely not the cheapest
I go here to get my books for class or to return them for cash most books resale during and after finals week I have not had issues with them just one about my Spanish book I ended up taking the course sometime this Summer.
Staff can be rude and products are all expensive. However, it's a good place to find books needed for class.
They have pretty much everything you can need or want. The only issue with buying things here is just how overpriced they can be. I understand that it's on a college campus, but as college students, we don't always have that kind of money to spend. The staff is super nice and friendly so I still come here when it is more convenient.
UNT has a monopoly on books and it makes no sense. Prices too high, despite us already giving them a lot of money for tuition. Can't over charge for tuition, while also primarily supporting sports teams, and also make textbooks outrageously expensive. Go to Campus bookstore and Voertmans, this place is too much.
I get my books here for UNT and they re super helpful with my stipend and my financial aid. If the staff don t know what to do they always get someone who does and the managers are v polite.
The bookstore is very clean and tidy. The people that work there are interested in helping out their customers which makes me excited to go back!

I like to visit Barnes and Noble from time to time. They have a great collection of books and educational toys for kids and other interesting things as well.
Quite an experience honestly. The employees are always kind and with a smile, willing to go out of their way to help as much as they can. Almost everything for sale are costly including the snacks. Getting textbooks and online codes can be a struggle due to lack of restock. Always special order when getting text books here. I don't, but it doesn't hurt to ask them how since it will help in the long run. Seriously the prices for the school swag is expensive.

They had general stuff college supplies and textbooks. However they also had books by the professors which had a lot of local native American history and other topics. I don't recall other campuses that had this section.
Very helpful staff. I was looking for a gift for my brother and a staff member turned me on to their games and demonstrated a terrific familiarity with the various products. So grateful for her help.
Prices are a bit ridiculous. A Columbia fleece with a unt logo is $80 and the exact same fleece at the Columbia store without the logo is $25.99.
The main problem is the prices, it just can't compete with online books. other than that its a great bookstore with nice folks.
My daughter already graduated this year, but I still love to go shopping there.

Cool place to get your books and Mean Green attire. They have alot more than just cheap tshirts. Students and Mean Green fans should check it out. Staff is friendly, most appear to be students which is great because they care about helping you.
