An enjoyable stay ended with the front desk staff and front desk manager completely screwing up my bill for my room. I was in the area on business and booked using a business card that is used within my organization. They charged my personal card that I was told would be used for incidentals for over $900. Very dissatisfied. Not resolved.

Yes.

We had a great time at Las Palmeras by Hilton Grand Vacations location in Orlando, Florida. This is a great place for a quiet family getaway. The staff were friendly and the campus was very well kept. My son loved the children s center and the pool. We loved the quietness of the location.

Our experience at Las Palmeras was great! The hotel was very clean. There were sanitizing stations and masks available for guests. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We will return to this family friendly hotel in the future. The location was perfect and we enjoyed.

Went there for the presentation on Hilton grand vacations. The sales pitch was too aggressive and the people started getting rude towards the end when I asked for time to decide. One other salesman proceeded to insult us that we do not understand money since we wanted to wait for few days to decide.

Beautiful new resort, but not many amenities yet. Service was good, food was good but pricey. Showers were poorly designed and leaked with every use. Had to use extra towels to soak up water.

Great location in Orlando. Close to Pointe Orlando, Fun Spot and SeaWorld. Rooms are nice sized and clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Our 1BR kept 4 comfortable with sleeper sofa. Pool was great, hot tub not connected to it, even better. Tried to go fitness center, but was filled with people's kids.... unsupervised kids. Check in can be a mess while people unload cars and leave luggage carts in the road. Bar could use more high end liquor choices. One on-site restaurant, but decent dinner options on menu and food is better than most.

Our family of 4 stayed in the one bedroom suite as part of a promotion we were offered; however I've based my review given the monetary value of the room (~$215/night per hotel website).

PROS: Very nice room. Liked that they have a TV in bedroom and in living room area. Provide some dishes to prepare meals in room. Can rent DVDs from lobby for free & 2 Starbucks coffees per day (if you paid the resort fee...tho was not told about the coffee benefit until after I checked out!). Kids activities during the day. Close to Universal Studios.

CONS (in my opinion): Limited menu at in-house restaurant. Shuttle to parks cost $8/person (our Lyft was ~$14 round trip).

Awesome experience!

Awesome experience!

The staff was super friendly and the hotel was very clean. It s right near everything if you re a tourist. Everything that you can think of is here from an extra curricular activity perspective.

Would definitely recommend this to anyone!

I work for a Hilton and I was impressed with the room and the pool wasn't bad even though the pictures looked better on the internet then in person... But the biggest problem I had was the service... Maybe my Hilton training has made me a stickler on service or maybe it's my upbringing...or alittle bit of both...

Location, rooms and service are great. The only complaint is lack of hot water at all times. Even when taking a shower at 10pm there is a lack of hot water. Otherwise wonderful place to stay and very friendly staff. Fairly close to Disney. Overall good stay.

As a gold member, I enjoy Hilton brand hotels. They're clean, inviting and the staff typically go above and beyond to meet accommodations. Las Palmeras is centrally located to shopping, restaurants, the convention center and Sea World. This particular facility gets 4 stars because of the $25 per day "resort fee." I felt that the nearly $200 per night was sufficient.

My family really enjoyed this resort. The pool was nice and the water slide was fun for the kids. We really enjoyed the free DVD rentals (Redbox like). The room we had was a King Suite which had a full kitchen and 2 huge bedrooms. It was modern and the beds were very comfortable. We did not eat at the restaurant but the wings looked amazing... almost changed our plans :).

We are Hilton Honors members and we were able to get into this place at a reasonable price if we sat through a 2 hour Hilton Vacation Club sales presentation. Now I have read the horror stories in these reviews and I was not sure what to expect and was a bit anxious about the interaction based on what we were reading. This was NOT a terrible experience at all. Here is the deal, this IS a sales presentation. We were aware of that from the time we booked and agreed to sit in on it for the price. So expect they will attempt to get you to buy into the vacation club program. That should not be a surprise to anyone nor should it offend them.

Was I tricked into attending this presentation? NO

Did I at any time feel held hostage? NO

Did I at any time feel forced to purchase a vacation club? NO

Was I treated poorly? NO

Was I presented several options to try to accommodate my budget? Yes

The sales agent did her job and we listened to her. We weren't rude and neither was she. Her job, her living, her vocation, is to sell the benefits of a vacation club membership. She did what she was supposed to do and in the end it wasn't something for us specifically and we ended the meeting amicably.

There was no weirdness after the presentation with ANY of the staff. Everyone was courteous, friendly, and service oriented the entire stay.

The ONLY issue I would say, or feedback, is there was a fire alarm that went off one evening but in our rooms it was extremely hard to hear it. I could see that as a potential issue. I could here something but was not sure exactly what it was, when I opened the door I then realized it was an alarm and began to evacuate my family. Root cause, someone burned something they were cooking!! Ha! That is the only thing I would say may need to be improved, the sound of the alarm. Myself and one other room opened their doors (from what I saw) and that was when we saw the hotel staff checking the floor and then gave all clear.

All in all, a great resort with great staff. It is located in a great area and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an upscale stay with family activities right at the resort in the heart of Orlando.

My stay with Las Palmeras by Hilton was great. The rooms are very clean and elegant. My kids found the pool and activity center very entertaining as well. Overall a great experience. I will definitely be back!

Very nice Hilton Grand Vacation. We were greeted by everyone and since my Sister is an owner, received some great discounts and coupons. We have a 2 bedroom suite.....beautiful and lots of space. We will enjoy our stay!

I've stayed at all 4 time share by HGV in Orlando and i would rate this as least favorable. Stayed here for business, and since i used my corporate code to book my stay, they somehow waived the resort fee after having a discussion. Other HGV waived without even asking for it. However, at the same time they refused to offer the voucher for the daily free water bottle since they waived the resort fee. I know that's part of the resort fee, but how can such a huge hotel chain refuse to offer a free bottle of water to their guest who is silver HH member and spending $700 for one stay almost every week at HGV property? During my previous stays at HGV Tuscany, Seaworld, they offered me extra vouchers for water/coffee without charge since i ran out of it on last day and staff over there was really nice and helpful.

Also, this used to be a Westin before, so the rooms looks renovated but not as good as other HGV type. No hot tub in the 1 Bedroom suite. Restaurant is overpriced as hell and they also charge for $18/day for parking.

Again, not offering a bottle of water free of charge to guest who is spending some $700 and a Silver HH member is not a right thing.

Not coming here again, and i will be thinking of options to join Marriot rewards instead.

NO STARS!!! Dishonesty in the highest form!! We were completely misled and tricked into buying. Their sales agents were extremely dishonest and misleading! We now have a timeshare we can't even use. When we told the company what happened and what we found out, they completely dismissed it!! Shocked they did not show more concern. Yet, their company seems to boast integrity?? It's a scam!

Great staff, nice property. Wish the washer and dryer were in the room. Wish they had a Kuerig in the room. Room couple used a carpet in the living room. Would make it feel more welcoming.

This is a nice resort just across from the convention center. The room we stayed in was spacious, ckean and modern. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. They have a pared down Starbucks menu available at the bar, which was also a plus. We would definitely stay there again.

Great property with excellent staff dedicated to making sure your stay is terrific. I have stayed several times and have not been let down. The location makes getting around pretty convenient. I didn't bother with a car either time and just used the trolley service or occasional ride share. Highly suggest checking it out if you are coming to town.

When the sale agent told me the promotion of Hilton grand vacation, it looked nice. But, They will never told you all the catches. 1. if you want to schedule your night close to holidays, you need to pay additional fee! 2. you are required to take the tour (another advertisement), otherwise, you need to pay much more than the promotion discount, and so half day of your whole family is lost. 3. basically you need to decide your dates long time before your travel. Overall, I will never buy the promotion package again, and I would rather order some room before my travel with no rush. I wish the sale agent told me all of these catches at the beginning, and so I will not regret having bought the package now.

We got conned into accepting a three night stay for a discount rate, provided we attend an hour presentation on vacation packages. The phone rep said it was absolutely not a timeshare hard sell. She lied. The salesman pushed a hard sell. When we informed that it wasn't for us, he kept on ignoring the reasons why I want interested and kept insisting it was all about the money. "Admit it, it's the money," he kept repeating. These kind of tactics are tawdry and cheap, more fit for a back alley pawn shop than for a Hilton property. This tarnishes the Hilton name and reduces its prestige.

Hello I am Bob, you should know Jeff but I am Bob. Did you know that my brother's name is also Bob. Us Bobs stick to together so we can conquer the world. This was a Bob written story, bye .

We stayed in a one bedroom suite. I would have preferred a room with 2 queens. It was very contemporary. I was surprised that they didn't have coffee in the lobby, bummer for me although I could have made some in my room. I didn't understand why the room had a shower stall AND a bath with a shower. Seemed like a waste of space. I would have preferred 1 shower and 2 sinks. I know they are currently renovating so I expect a future visit would be better. Great location and the staff were pleasant especially the server in the restaurant.

The hotel is nice and clean. But when we booked, we were told there were shuttles to
the parks so we didn t rent a car. We get here, no shuttles. She said bc the hotel isn t making enough money. Very inconvenient. Also, there are no Housekeeping services unless you stay a 5 days or more. I am hear for a timeshare meeting, however I have been persuaded to not buy. These little perks is what keeps people booking.

Staying during Covid and this hotel and the staff are providing lots of extras to make sure the hotel is clean and sanitized. The staff are all professional and so very polite and willing to help with your needs. The parking is very convenient and I like it because it s in a parking deck. My son loved the water slide and the pool was very clean and chairs set up for social distancing. Convenient to all the parks and International Drive where we are several meals. I definitely will stay again .
