The TL;DR version: I went here for a short vacay and not only did I feel like home away from home, but there's a lot of things you can do in the area.

Staff:
Every staff member I encountered were incredibly friendly and helpful and not in a creepy, "Get Out" kind of way. I was told by the front desk that this was "home away from home". Now that's super cheesy, but they meant it - they gave us a number to text and if we needed toothpaste, towels, etc. they brought it up and that kind of service blew me away.

The room:
I got a single bedroom which came with a fridge, microwave, a flatscreen tv (with a dvd player), and a king sized bed. A really good touch were the usb charging ports that are located next to the beds.

The Location:
THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST part about the hotel. (Just a warning: I don't frequent Orlando so there might be "better" spots.)

This hotel is literally surrounded with stuff to do - there's an indoor
go-karting/arcade, the Orlando eye, an escape room and a chain of restaurants and Universal is not that far away. Malls are close by (~15-20 mins away) and if you're not the outgoing type, there are TWO Barnes and Nobles close by.

The amenities:
The hotel came with a pool area that's got some activities (the front desk gives you a calendar on what's going on in the month). The pool area also has a hot tub, a kiddy play area and a water slide. Apart from the pool area, there's a gym (haven't gone in), a bar (great mimosas and they serve starbucks),a nintendo wii in the lobby (mario kart? mario kart.), and a breakfast are. Now, there isn't a continental breakfast, but they serve some real-deal breakfast -- none of the microwaveable scrambled eggs at other places.
