So we came to this hotel because of a deal Hilton ...

So we came to this hotel because of a deal Hilton set us up with from our last stay at a Hilton (we had to attend a two hour seminar). The hotel is very pretty and clean. We were all the way at the top which was nice but it felt very much like we were the only ones up there. There isn t a cleaning crew that comes every day only if you stay past five days which got annoying because we had to ask for more towel etc. The pool area was very nice and food decent for hotel food. With our deal we didn t have to pay for parking but be aware that that is a cost as well and the parking garage is completely separate. So to get to our room we had to park on the 2nd or 3rd floor get into an elevator down, walk to the lobby area, go up 12 flights coming and going. It wasn t convenient at all. It was my birthday this weekend and upon arrival they said they got us covered and we assumed something special was to come but nothing happened. I m not one to be a spoiled brat and we don t stay at big hotels like this often but it really turned us off about not having fresh towels everyday and nothing happened for my special day. We have stayed at hotels for a lot cheaper and have been treated a little bit more special. If you are one attending a seminar, the one we went to was very nice and interesting but was at a different Hilton 15min away. The deal was decent but it wasn t for us at the moment. They provided coffee and some breakfast sweets. The day of our check out we got a call offering another deal to stay at a hotel expiring next year but we declined. It was an overall interesting stay but if it hasn t been for the deal we would have never chosen this hotel at all. The location is amazing because you re so close to The theme parks and restaurants but I think there is much better options that wouldn t feel so cold and empty. Being that we don t travel often staying somewhere where you get a little spoiled and are treated like an owner regardless if you are one or not is super important and it makes it feel like Hilton has lost that hospitality aspect. We will not return to this hotel but we will give Hilton some more tries in our future travels.

Beautiful view from the room. Concierge and valet staff were very helpful and informative. Not far from all the Orlando attractions. The restaurant and the staff was amazing. Personally gave my compliments to the chef. Can't wait to come back.

Hotel was nice. Couch bed was horrible. And it was a BIG surprise that the pool was closed. SHOULD have been told when my companion made reservation! Hotel staff from front desk, housekeeping, and security were all very friendly and helpful.

Everything was great until the conceirge kept pushing for us to go to a sales presentation and didnt want to take no for an answer. We are already owners and not interested in wasting any time with another sales pitch. This guy wouldnt stop pushing until I got very firm with him and told him to stop stressing me out about it. Learn when to accept NO as an answer!!!!!!

Some guy walked into our room at 2AM!!!! I went down to talk to front desk about it and was pretty much told it was impossible unless I gave someone my keys! I am traveling alone with my children, NO ONE ELSE HAS A KEY! And someone walked into my room! Only offer they gave me was to have security come to my room. When I asked "To do what?" I did not receive an answer to that question he just responded "we dont have cameras in our hallways so we have no way of knowing who it was" the only thing else they offered me was to have new keys made (which I accepted) the lady the next morning provided me with a key card data record which did not show any other key entering our room. So I'm not sure how it even happened. Door may have not latch the night before? And our lock may have not been locked? Not sure either way super scary since my kids were sleeping in the living room and that's who he walked in on, scary them to death. The gentleman working the front desk nightshift wasn't very friendly about the whole situation or comforting. The morning manager did credit our room $75. Our room with a "view" only has a view of the first floor roof top. The balcony door doesn't latch which lead to a cold but super stuffy room with all the humidity coming in, bedroom door will not stay shut, you can hear EVERYTHING going on in the hallway and next door but our neighbors are abnormally extremely loud, the shower fixtures are installed upside down, the package of Q-tips in the bathroom were already opened when we arrived (gross), there is nowhere to unpack your belongings, there is also a $100 charge my card for the past 2 days that I have no idea what it's for, breakfast and the pizzas weren't very good and extremely expensive. Parking is not convenient. Pool and splash pad are nice. The he resort fee they charge that covers 2 cups of coffee and a DVD rental daily, really?

Thank goodness we had spare blankets with us in the car. The bedding, (mattres cover and blanket) provided by the resort for our kids bed was matted with human hair. We tried 3 times to get clean bedding. The first time was ignored. The second time clean sheets were dropped off, even though I had been clear the sheets weren't the problem. The 3rd time, nobody showed up and we set up until midnight waiting for them for nothing. I finally used our own blankets and such to make their bed back up and gave up wasting our time with them. I definetely wouldn't stay with them again. Word of advice, if your children will be sleeping on the pull out bed, bring your own bedding.

Las Palmeras is a beautiful hotel, though a bit pricey. Make sure to read up on all the hotel fees, tax, etc, so you have an idea about the final cost. This hotel has a perfect location on universal Blvd. The hotel is extremely clean, the pool area is spacious and tons of fun, the bedroom also has lots of space, a balcony, very nice kitchen area, big screen tv, and the bathroom is also spacious with a big tub. Over all I'm extremely pleased with the cleanliness and atmosphere of this hotel. Can't wait to go back!

Decent hotel. Customer service was amazing across the board, beds were comfortable, pool was clean, some balconies were just big enough for two people. Watch the sliding doors, they have high runners! The room we stayed in had a strong, musty odor. After the first night, we ended up just leaving the balcony door open our entire stay and turning off the air conditioner which really helped the stuffiness/odor.

Nice hotel. It's kinda like a mini resort. They have activities, a pool and slide, outdoor movies etc. I'm not a big fan of the parking situation but other than that this is a nice place to stay.

Came here for a sales presentation at another hotel, this isn't a reflection of the las palmeras but the presentation was very shiesty. And after sitting through it for over 3 hours, we were asked if we wanted a one night hotel stay or points. I was told the points were worth more since we would most likely stay at a Hampton inn. Now I find the points will not even get us a one night stay, very disappointed.

Really enjoyed our stay. Every other hotel in the price range just offered regular rooms with two beds stuffed in there side by side. Where this place was proper suites with separate bedroom and everything. Hotel staf were all great too, especially those at the bar.

Nice hotel. Not a lot of stiff within walking distance. Disappointed me when I arrived and a room wasn't available (even though I arrived 90 minutes after I said I'd be there and I'm an elite member). Room was nice.

The suite was nicely decorated with a large balcony. The valet service was very timely which was helpful. It is a smaller club property but it does have a nice pool, bar, restaurant. The only thing missing is the market some of the larger properties have. A trip to Publix is a good idea and is only one mile away.

The hotel and room was extremely nice. Everything was clean, and the hotel was in a good location. The only negative I have for the stay is the extra $25 a night resort fee and having to pay $20 for parking. It appeared as if all of these things had been included in the total, but I had to pay the extra money upon arrival.

we were here April 7th - 10th. this was the nicest hotel I've ever been too. it was so homie and I loved how much space there was. it wasn't a box room like most other hotels. the food was very expensive but not enough for me to give them a 4. the onsite pool and slide and splash pad was fun but unfortunately it wasn't warm enough for us to use. it says it's heated but I didn't feel it heated. free pool towels and activities for the kids. everything is 15 mins away which I loved. the beds are sooooo freaking comfortable. we slept like babies. I can't explain how soft they were. And we loved how they offer free up to date DVD rentals during your stay. they also had free washer and dryer on each floor free to use. And they were very nice ones not the kind they have at washaterias. we came for the 2 hour presentation which lasted about 3. But it's ok. I wasn't a boring presentation.

While attending a conference at the Orlando Convention Center, I stayed at the Las Palma's GVC. Convenient and not too far from the CC. It's a typical GVC, "renters" get a studio room, no "love" for Diamond members. The rooms are clean, modern and well maintained. There is an on-site restaurant. No free breakfast for Diamond's at a GVC. The have the usual Sales Center to hawk timeshare sales, but as a solo business convention traveler, they didn't even try to give me the pitch ... THANK YOU. The pool and jacuzzi are nice, but they are currently starting construction on more pools.

If your paying this much for a hotel you should expect that much. The wifi is horrible. Not to mention we had to wait 30 minutes to get our suite the day we checked in because it wasn't ready on time. It's a standard hotel nothing more.

Good hotel. Only downsides are that parking isn't free, it's a long walk to all the restaurants, and there were some weird machinery noises all night long from my 2nd floor room. Nothing horrible, though. The downstairs restaurant food was very good for a hotel. Everyone was friendly. Gym is spacious and pool area is huge.
