I contacted City Chevrolet this past week for assistance in options due to a recall on my vehicle that could not be repaired. I spoke with manager David Pickering who asked me to come in and he would personally make sure I received excellent service. From the moment I walked in the door I felt like family. I was immediately approached by a staff member and offered a cold beverage, which was especially nice on a very hot day! David came out right away to greet me and introduce me to the first of his superstar staff that would help make my experience exciting. Mike Owens and I discussed vehicle options and then took a test drive in a Chevy Cruze. He was personable and patient and made sure I knew about every feature of the car. He even turned on the AC before our drive so I was comfortable!!!

The next superstar team member, Avon Spann, then joined us to help with the initial paperwork. Avon and Michael worked together to get the process started, and made sure I was comfortable and kept me up-to-date on how things were going. They also kept me company and made the waiting time seem like I was just hanging out with friends.

The very next day I heard from David that my loan had been approved, and that I could take delivery of my new car that very same day!! I was once again greeted with smiles and a cold beverage. Since Avon was providing special service out of the office, Andrew Burnette was the next superstar team member to step up. He was able to get my information quickly and took me on a test drive in my new car. He too was friendly and personable, and made me feel right at home. Avon returned to the store and both he and Andrew saw everything through including getting me in with Finance very quickly!!

To put the icing on my cake for the day, I had the great pleasure of working with Adam Stephens, Finance Mgr. He made me laugh from the moment I stepped in his office. I never thought I would say signing paperwork on a new car was fun... but I had a blast with Adam!!! Once again, I felt like family!! He made the delivery process quick, easy to understand and most of all.... FUN!!!!!

Avon then personally escorted me outside to my new gorgeous Cruze!!! He walked me through every feature, synced my bluetooth and got me connected with Onstar to make sure I was totally set up and ready to go!! He went above and beyond to make sure I was knowledgeable, comfortable and excited about my experience!!!! I couldn't have asked for better service all the way around from every single superstar team member involved from beginning to end!!! Bought my first ever corvette and when I came in I met Patricia Tate and she gave me the best customer service I have ever received because she never pressured or pushed me to do anything she walked me thru everything and taught me and showed me my best advantages and although she knew I was just looking she stayed with me for hours teaching me about corvettes and what would be good for me. When I finally came back to purchase my Corvette Patricia worked with me the entire day and even educated me on the car by showing me almost everything and when she had to leave she came right back to help me bottom line Patricia made me feel comfortable and made the process enjoyable. She knows how to talk to people about anything and she is a real person and I look forward to seeing her every time I come in and she will my dealer for life. From the start it was a great truck buying experience starting with my sales man Mike Dorsaint. Never felt any pressure, didnt play any games with me just straight forward buisness unlike other dealerships from the start. I will definitely be buying any future cars from Mike and direct any family/friends with him. About a week into driving my new truck I noticed the 35" tires were causing a lot of rubbing. I brought it back expecting to have to have an proboem getting the issue corrected and that was not the case at all. Todd the lift accessory expert came out and without having to ask they offered to trade out the tires for the right size free of charge. Great service. Friendly staff. Have def earned by buisness.

Easy to schedule. Estimated time for service accurate. Courteous. Waiting area nice. Our last two cars have only needed service interval checkups. No reliability issues with vehicles.

Sales staff including manager were clueless. Nothing from the website was actually on location. Offered to sell a vehicle transferred in sight unseen from another of their dealerships. Couldn't even find the keys to the 1 vehicle on their lot we may have been interested in, and then over quoted the sales price that was online!!! WASTED AFTERNOON!! 2nd bad experience with a Hendrick dealership. WE'RE DONE!

City Chevrolet is not concerned with selling cars or meeting buyers expectations. I went in on October 30th to buy a new 2017 Suburban. After talking with Jason and Andy they found the Suburban I was looking for and could have it delivered to City Chevrolet. We were able to agree on a price and they would contact me about the paperwork. On October 31st they contacted me saying the Suburban was no longer available but found some other options. I wasn t happy with the options, but on November 1st they contacted me to say the original suburban was available. I sent them a copy of my license to start the process. I didn t hear from either of them until November 8th when I reach out to them to ask how things were progressing. Andy assured me he was still working on it, but had been very busy. I told him I felt that I was not being updated properly on the progress and expected more frequent updates about the process going forward. He stated it would not be a problem. On November 26th a customer service representative from Hendrick Automotive called me to ask how the purchase went. I informed her, I was still waiting to purchase the Suburban but had not heard from anyone since November 8th. She stated she would immediately fax the dealership so someone could contact me by November 27th. By November 29th I had not heard from anyone at the Hendrick Automotive group, so I called Andy at City Chevrolet. I left him a message but my call was never returned. On December 4th I brought in my current Suburban, the one I was trying to trade-in since October 30th , to City Chevrolet for some routine maintenance (e.g. oil change, tire rotation, check the fluids, etc.). That night I got a call from City Chevrolet asking me if I was interested in trading-in my Suburban. I told them, I have trying to trade it with City Chevrolet since October 30th. They said someone would be contacting me immediately. On December 6th, two days later, Ryan called me trying to start the process all over again. I was amazed how much work was required by me to persuade salespeople to call me back so I can buy a Suburban from them so they can get paid. Needless to say, I purchased from another dealer and had a terrific experience. Finished the purchase in 3 days.

I got an oil change done on my very expensive Camaro which is low mileage and the tech got oil all over my paint and engine bay. Kind of sad. I took photos. I could never trust hendrick chevy with what I can't see if thats what they let me see.

My husband Shawn Powers and I purchase a 2015 Chevy Silverado last night. And I could not be more pleased with Kris James customer service. The entire process was smooth, simple and it didn't give me a headache like I was expecting. LOL I felt good about what I purchased didn't feel like I was getting sold anything that I did not want or need. Saverio Longobardo greeted me with courtesy and professionalism, then proceeded to get me comfortable with the process of caring for my car. During the time that I spent at the dealership, Mr. Longobardo told me about everything he was going to do, and he did exactly those things. How refreshing it was to not have to chase behind someone in order to have your expectations met.
Jeremy Aimi is the certified Corvette mechanic who worked on my car. This was my first visit, but Mr. Aimi seems to know what he s doing, and he has my confidence.

I had been looking for a 2017 GMC Acadia Limited for some time and found one with very low miles at another Hendrick dealership that was about 4 hours away. I got in contact with Michael Moyer in the pre-owned department and City Chevrolet. He was able to get the vehicle transferred from Jacksonville, NC to the Charlotte store at no cost to me. He was even able to offer the same great deal that the other dealership was offering. The process went smoothly and I was able to do a lot of the paperwork before the vehicle arrived -- even got my trade in offer. I was assured that I could walk away if it was not in the condition as advertised. I came in after work on a Monday and was driving away in my new Acadia in less than an hour! All of the paperwork is electronic which made the experience much easier. They did not push the extended warranties or other plans but did inform me of them and let me know I had up to 30 days after my purchase to change my mind should I want to take advantage of those programs. I highly recommend City Chevrolet and Michael Moyer in particular.

The best car buying experience of my entire life. The customer service was top notch. At no point did we feel inferior (considering the current climate we are living in) My sales rep Garret, was very professional and knowledgeable, and he made us feel very appreciated as customers. Tyler helped me with my new truck purchase, getting me into a 2021 Chevy Silverado RST. He really went the extra mile, making sure the process was very simple and quick. He definitely brings a new reputation to car salesmens. He made me feel comfortable about the purchase the entire time. Being a female going into purchase a vehicle by myself can definitely be stressful, but Tyler did not make me feel pressured at all. 10/10 recommend.

I would give it less stars if possible. This place does not care about the customer. Made a deal on a car online and it was sold out from under me before I could pick the car up, and yes, there was an agreed upon day and time.

I went from being a great, happy customer looking forward to returning to buy our next vehicle in January, to an extremely frustrated customer with their errors and response. I had a good experience in purchasing the vehicle but that's where it ended. It's been almost 2 1/2 months and I STILL do not have tags - my new vehicle is parked and not usable. This is because of errors and non-communication within Hendrick City Chevrolet. Unbelievable the lack of attention, nobody answers the phone or returns messages, and once they figured out what was wrong, they still didn't work to correct it in a timely manner. Unbelievable!

I was not expecting to replace my truck last week. My '03 Avalanche served us well for 16yrs and then the "wheels fell off". Andy at the Service Counter said, "you may want to go shopping". I hate car shopping. We came in to City Chevrolet midday, Stephen had a couple trucks pulled up in front, introduced us to Mark and we went for a test drive. Mark is a fine young man, a veteran and adjusting quickly in his new career. If we had a question, Mark had an answer. A second drive in a different truck and we were ready to hear the numbers news. It was good news. Mark helped us through the details and I drove home in a new truck that evening. Thank you Stephen and Mark.

Maybe it's because I'm only 24 and look young or perhaps it was something else. Either way the second I walked in I was ignored and felt like I wasn't being taken seriously at all. I came because at the time I was a recent graduate who had been working his first real big boy full time job and I was super excited to get my own brand new car. I came looking to get a 2016 Camaro. I didn't get a warm greeting, barely got a "hey" out of the lady working the front desk, and they weren't that busy at the time.

Before walking in I had talked with a nice sounding man named Joe days before over the phone. We talked and got to know each other and my price range, information, likes and dislikes, etc. I get there and the lady tells me he's not in! I understand if something important came up, but I had made an appointment with this man and he doesn't call to tell me he can't make it. A little professionalism would be nice. So instead I get a man named Kenny and I have to go through the whole getting to know each other thing again. Which would've been fine had I been speaking with a man who actually likes to talk. I can't fathom why or how this man is a car dealer, but okay. This is who Joe referred me to.

Kenny also took about 5 minutes to actually show up. At this time I was one of only two customers inside. During the drive test he said NOTHING. To the point where I almost busted out laughing. In my mind I'm thinking, "This guy is a car dealer.... How could he not be telling me about this feature, or that feature, or how great the car is, etc?" I ask him how long he'd been a dealer here just to break the ice. 'Cause it was awkward. I was just test driving around in silence and apparently just for the giggles. I had to ask him stuff about the Camaro in order to learn about it. Great salesmanship....

I did like the car, so I asked if he had any in my price range and in a preferred color. And great news, there was! Or so we thought... He said they have something and went out to look for it so I could see it. 10 minutes later he comes back scratching his head saying nobody can find it. Awesome. Get my hopes up for nothing. The manager comes out to shake my hand as soon as I show interest in buying. Funny how that happened. He still belittles my intelligence, seemed to talk down to me, made me feel uncomfortable and unimportant. They offered me a deal. Not a great one. The entire time I felt like I wasn't being taken seriously.

Turned out the car wasn't even there. And they told me to put in a down payment so that I can go ahead and "reserve" the car. Really? They were asking me to commit to purchasing a car I haven't even seen. Laughable.

Will not be dealing with Rick Hendrick after that experience. I hear people praising them all the time but my own personal experience was different. Perhaps because I really wasn't being taken seriously. Anyways went with a Mustang at a Ford dealership. Maybe I'll go back after I have a head full of grey hair.

The guys down there are great. Had a really good experience 2 years ago purchasing a Suburban from them and recently had another great experience. Although we didn't end up pulling the trigger on the car, Paul Diedrichs was on top of it when it came to helping us out looking for a new 2019 Silverado. He is definitely an outside the box thinker when it comes to finding what the customer is looking for - great customer service. Will definitely contact him in the future for our next vehicle.
