This was the best car buying experience I ever had. Lucas the sales associate was an excellent and informative person. I bought my car from here and one months later I'm still in love with it. When I first arrived here I was in a bad mood from previous car buying experiences and I was determined that I wouldn't like it here. However Lucas put me in the best of moods, was very patient with me, work with my current situation, and turn me over to the best financial person at their location.

Great people and great service!! I'm a brand new customer at Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet and I will definitely be one for life!! Service department is excellent and very highly trained. I have to say Tito and David Morrison have extremely patient and helpful during my new car buying experience :-)

If I could give 0 stars I would....

In July 2015, I purchased a new 2013 Volt. Shortly after, while driving on i85 my mirror was knocked off by debris flying out of the bed of a truck. The collision center told me they needed to replace the whole drivers door, window, and mirror (Costing me 1k deductible)... When in fact, the only part needing to be replaced, or even damaged, was the mirror head itself. (Confirmed by other CHEVY DEALERSHIPS)

In the past 10 months I have put 36k miles on this vehicle. I knew I would be driving a lot, and the salesperson did a great job at informing me of the amazing gas mileage for these vehicles. Unfortunately the average MPG for these 36k miles has been 35.8 even though I charge the electric motor at least 3 times a week. At 36,500 miles, the vehicles computer stopped working properly, and how convenient that that is when the warranty is no longer valid.

I also can no longer afford the payments for this vehicle, so I wanted to see about trading it in for a more affordable vehicle. After looking at my credit score (was over 730 in 2015), which had gone down to a depressing level only because of missed payments on this vehicle, they suggested I wait another 6 months until I can get my credit score back up... HOW?? I already stated I can NOT afford these payments.

How can you ethically sell someone a vehicle for 30k, when it is only worth 12K? They did not tell me that this car is now only worth 12k, I had to go to another credible dealership to obtain that information... This was my first time buying a car, and they took total advantage of me. I understand ultimately, this is on me for agreeing to the deal... but I could not sleep at night if I made deals like this that take total advantage of people.

Now I have no idea what I will do. Obviously the kind people at City Chevrolet would rather see me have this vehicle repossessed and the negative equity charged to me, than keep me as a returning customer and an advocate for their dealership.

Jason was AMAZING. From the first test drive until I left in my new Trailblazer, he made sure I was taken care of. I really enjoyed that he pointed out all the features of the car, made sure I was comfortable with the price, and even helped me set up my phone and OnStar. I couldn t have asked for a better experience. I am definitely a Hendrick girl from now on! Thank you Jason, Andy and team!

I had a wonderful experience at Hendrick Chevrolet today. Cynthia, the internet sales person was very thorough and responded to my emails almost immediately. Tyler, the sales person that helped me was great! He was prompt, knowledgeable and found me the car I wanted!

If you re not sure how to go about all the aspects of new car/truck buying, YOU HAVE TO GO SEE GARRET. I was just there earlier today and he was by far the best help I ve gotten in the many dealers in Charlotte. I only wish I could have met him years ago before I bought my car. Save a bit of your time by going to someone who really truly cares. Oh, and I got a 3500 Chevy Colorado

My boyfriend and I bought a car yesterday from Rick Hendrick Chevrolet! We went to just look at cars to see our options and instead we walked away with a brand new 2019 Chevy Traverse! The customer service there was incredible. They were very personable and worked very well if you had a plan and a budget. They weren t trying to pull the wool over our eyes when it came to selling us the car. They respected our wishes when they tried to offer us things we new we couldn t afford or wasn t in our price range. Overall, our experience was beyond amazing and I cannot be happier with our purchase. We bought the car from Jesse, who had only been working at that location for a few months. He was great! So if you re there, ask for Jesse. He won t let you down! I m a Chevy girl for life now.

This is for Hendrick Collision Center at City Chevrolet.
Do not bring your car here for repairs. I was in a wreck (not my fault) and brought my car here to be repaired because of the Hendrick name. I have not been please at all with my experience. They told me it would be a 2 day job and it has now been 9 days and I still do not know when I will get my car back. They did call me on day 3 to say my car was ready. I went in and looked over the repairs. There were 2 things that were not repaired that I had pointed out when I dropped my car off. I called today (day 9) and was told by one of their receptionist that I could pick up my car and I could just deal with the insurance company myself for the rest of the repairs. Not being pleased with this response I talked to the Body Shop Manager. Thinking he would help me was a joke!!! Instead of turning an upset customer into a happy one, he did just the opposite!!! He upset me more and even raised his voice to me. I then turned into an irate customer!!! I had to argue for him to even try to get anything done! He then had the audacity to tell me that they already "ate" $40 to replace my bumper with a factory Toyota one. Really????? Needless to say if I ever need my car fixed again I will not be returning to this place. I do not recommend you letting them fix your car either. Find a place that will give you the excellent customer service!!!

I recently bought a new car here and was amazed with the level of customer service I received.

My salesman, Ace Louis, went above and beyond in communicating and helping to make the transaction as smooth and fast as possible.

The finance manager, Brent Bell was also very helpful. Both explained everything about the car and process very clearly and were extremely helpful. They also both stayed late on a Friday night, even after they knew we would be late, so my husband could meet me me there and not have to give up part of his weekend, which was a huge help to us even though it meant an inconvenience for them.

There was a previously purchased truck from this dealer, mechanical failure outside of warranty and no real need for me to purchase a new truck. He did a great job of finding a workable deal. He was honest, direct and I didn t feel like he was trying to get one over on me

I was ready to browse around Charlotte after the test drive, but the Hendrick Certified Warranty included with my purchase sold me instantly. You cant beat the service here. Everything was quick and proper. Everyone was friendly, and the service is excellent. I'll be back for my next car.

Excellent service! We were looking for a specific option package on a new Tahoe and they searched outside their normal area to find it. We live an hour away from the dealership so everything was done over text / phone. Our salesperson even responded to questions on his day off! All the paperwork was ready when we got there and the process went extremely smooth. Everyone we dealt with at the dealership was friendly, helpful and professional. I would highly recommend them to anyone and they will be my first stop should I decide to buy another Chevrolet.

While negotiating my purchase, I told the manager what I wanted as an out the door price. I also negotiated two key fobs as part of the deal. All of this was in writing and he agreed with a handshake and a smile.

The manager then came back and told me that 'out the door price' means the amount of cash I pay after deducting my trade from the price of the car. For example, I tell him I want an out the door price of $15,000. My trade is valued at $2,000. So the manager comes back with a vehicle price of $17,000 and shows me an out of pocket expense of $15,000. What kind of moron confuses Out The Door Price with Out Of Pocket Expense!!!

This is the kind of dirty tactic used at City Chevrolet. The manager also claimed he never agreed to give me a 2nd key with a fob. and he denied me the fob on 2 different occasions , even though it was in writing.

I did not disclose to them that I was in the car sales business for a local dealership for several years, and I have never seen such a high level of chicanery. The manager there, Steve, he is a mustache twirling snake oil salesman. Buyer beware!

Guys there are great only thing that needs improvement is at least a greeting were you arrive into the service dept. You can pull in and Tech just sit at there desk or on phones for 15 - 20 minutes before anyone ask you for assistants. If nothing but a person that greeting you "Welcome to City Chevy, do you have an appointment or here to for a specific issue".

Jon P. was fantastic!!! I thought I was stuck in a car that I really wasn t happy with, and he got me into the car I thought was out of reach! He was nothing like the stereotypical sales person. He was very nice, polite and not pushy at all. He worked really hard to get me what I wanted. He was transparent with all that was going on during our deal, and I really appreciated that! Also, financing with Anya went smoothly, she was nice and polite. Along with Rick Hendricks good reputation, I highly recommend going to see Jon P. for your next vehicle purchase!!!

I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation and I was thoroughly impressed with the way the service department (Tori) handled my drop-off and pick-up after the service was completed. Tori was so professional, knowledgeable, and pleasant. My husband usually takes care of the car maintenance, but this time that wasn't possible and I was so pleasantly surprised at how easy Tori made it! In the interim, while I was waiting for my son to pick me up I was in the showroom looking at what vehicle we might want to lease next, since our lease is almost up. Paul showed me the new 2020 Traverse and let me test drive it! Paul was so knowledgeable and helpful! I loved test driving the 2020 Traverse and I mentioned that I want to bring my husband there to test drive it and Paul suggested that I meet Andrew the sales manager and he was just as nice and knowledgeable as Paul. He even suggested that we could test drive the traverse over the weekend so my husband could tell if the seat bothers his back like some vehicles do. We plan to go back together on Saturday to check out the new Traverse to lease! Such a fantastic experience at a car dealership! Thank you to all who contributed to my great experience!

Fantastic purchasing experience! I dread car shopping - in fact I wasn't looking forward to getting a new car just because of the process of buying. The crew at City Chevrolet made it easy! Had the truck pulled up and ready to test drive when we got there. They let us know from the beginning that they were ready to earn our business and they did. Easy to negotiate with and gave us a great deal! Even the finance department was easy - worked to get us further discounts with our Costco membership (which we weren't even aware of!).

Best part of the whole experience was that everyone there wanted to help us - It felt like we were working with a team - not one person. They treated us like our business was important and it made all the difference.

The service team at Rick Hendrick City Chevy is excellent! I had an issue with my 2016 Tahoe's A/C and found out the fix would take over 5 hours. They put me in a loaner right away because they respected the value of my time. Thank you team for a great customer experience and quality work done on my vehicle!

This was our first experience with City Chevrolet ...

This was our first experience with City Chevrolet and we need look no further. I feel the level of professionalism was exemplary and everything about this dealership was synonymous with customer service and satisfaction. The entire process was wonderful and as easy as it could have been. The salesman came up to me and introduce him self as Avon Spann, and he helped me to make the right decision on the SUV and the price I was looking for, the young man was so helpful. I know that I took up a lot of his time, but he was so patience and understanding. it took little to secure the deal we had negotiated(quite easily) with a trade in to give. We got top dollar for the trade and a super deal on the Captiva. The large inventory assures you will find what you are looking for. Avon told me the vehicle they had the 2013 Captiva I purchased with all the options and for a great deal, again,he is so understanding and was very accommodating and respectful. only God could send such a person to you. I could go on for days, I think it would be easier to take the word of an honest review and confirm by heading there yourself.

Lifelong chevy owner, currently with Suburban, 2500HD Duramax (bought from Hendricks) and corvette. Was in for my 5th oil change and tire rotation on my Duramax 2500HD. Price for this service went from $80 to $120 with no reasonable explanation (a 50% increase!!). I was told this is due to increase in oil price....really?? Last I've seen, prices are actually down. I Discussed low coolant level warning upon startup. The following morning after visit I still get warning. Was this checked on the advertised and paid for 21 point inspection? Pointed out a leak on rear diff (under warranty). I was told not to worry, it is minor, NO mention of gear oil level, not to mention gear oil leak along my rear suspension. I'll take my truck to another dealer who can properly repair the leak. Likely will not be back.


Update. The service manager Travis reached out to me to make things right. He assigned Saverio to manage the details. Saverio made arrangements to pick up my truck, leaving me with a Tahoe. The leaking differential was repaired and Saverio kept me informed all along the way. The next day my truck was returned. I am completely satisfied with the repair work completed on my truck, but still concerned about the cost of an oil change and tire rotation ($120). My Suburban oil change and tire rotation was just completed at Hendrick Chevrolet/Cadillac in Monroe for $50. I understand that the truck is a Diesel, but can t understand a $70 difference. 5 stars for making things right. I ll just look for other options next oil change.

I stopped by Tuesday after a typical visit to the DMV. My Camaro met an untimely end, and I wasn't really looking forward to the whole buying a new car process. I stopped by Rick Hendrick because their inventory was the best online, and once I got there I was wildly impressed. I thought I missed the driveway, but there were two more. J was extremely helpful and informative, and he really got me excited to get a new car. I laid out my situation with him, and he took me thorough their inventory and helped me find the perfect Camaro, walked me through all the features (literally ALL of them), and helped me get a start on the paperwork to give me time to get my finances in order. It was a great experience all around.
