My wife and I visited Hendrick City Chevrolet looking to purchase a new Traverse. We were greeted by Tyler Lynn and had a great experience. Tyler and the team there were very straight forward and very accommodating with our questions and what we were looking for. We left after about 2 hours and having looked at a few options. Sales manager called us that night and was able to meet our price point. We went in the next morning and finalized the deal. Very good experience and would highly recommend visiting City Chevrolet and asking for Tyler.

My less than one year old (very new to me) 2016 Chevy Silverado got hit by a young teenage driver driving carelessly in a parking lot Memorial Day weekend. I've had the truck brand new, since mile '2' on the odo. I park my truck on the middle of the top floor of the parking deck and out on the fringes of surface decks, to avoid even the slightest hint of a scratch, so, getting unexpectedly hit was not a fun experience. Fortunately, nobody was hurt. However, my truck was no longer scratch free. The staff at Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet Collision, returned my new truck to like new condition, as if the hit never occurred. I was so happy to see it the day it was announced as ready for pickup. It feels and looks as if it were back in time with it again.

The service department is no help! There's water damage in my car from detailing they did . I have brought my car up there 5 times in the last month still leaking .O and don't forget get all the mold that me and my son have had to breath in!!!!!!! I wish I could post the pics through the month.

Absolute worst experience ever - and I don't even own the car anymore. I leased a 2013 Equinox in March 2013. In 2016, when the lease was almost over, I wanted to purchase the car. I asked the salesman for DAYS to let me know what information he needed to expedite my time in the store, and he (nor anyone else that I called) was able to answer. After spending 3 hours in the store, he finally came up to me and said "this was all I needed, honey" and pointed a few account numbers. The exact information I had been asking to provide for me. Condescending jack***.

The real awful part of it all is their own paper work error. My last car automatic withdrawal for the lease should have come in July 2016. I bought the car in June, so I assume someone, somewhere reported to GM Financial that the terms and conditions had changed because the payment was never withdrawn (I didn't go in and change anything on my end). Come to find out in January, City Chevrolet took my bank's money for the buy out, but waited over a month to pay GM Financial. So I have a credit report with 16 years of perfect credit, and one late payment. I called the credit bureau, and they said they would fix it, but now I am finding out the City Chevrolet disputed the claim. I have been calling them for weeks now to fix it, but they won't even call me back. They are completely incompetent, self-motivated, condescending jerks. I wouldn't buy a car here for half price. It's not worth the annoyance of having to deal with people that clearly have NO clue what they are doing with even the most basic car functions.

Saverio has in the past 5 years treated my corvette as if it was his. Excellent service advisor. I chose Hendrick because of my past treatment by Saverio and service department knowing my damage would be corrected correctly.

Best car buying experience I have ever had. Tim Dobbins is the man to see if you are in the market for a new vehicle. Tim was available 24/7 while searching for the right vehicle. They transferred the exact vehicle I wanted from another dealership. They spent the time to make sure I got the vehicle I wanted rather than pushing something different they may have had available on the lot.

The finance department was also incredibly friendly. They went out of their way, and made a call to the bank so that I would receive 0% financing.

The next time I am ready to buy a vehicle I won't consider going to any other dealership.

Brought my 2020 Chevy Colorado for the 3rd time for a problem with the radio/Sirius XM. The first time they changed out the stick that they used to add the Sirius XM and assured us that the problem was fixed. The 2nd time they repeated the same "repair" and were told they would put in a completely new radio if the problem wasn't resolved. Still had problems. We moved to Thomasville and it has been a long process moving so we didn't get it taken back until yesterday. They did the same exact thing, assuring that they had fixed the problem. Today, one of the problems is that for no apparent reason the volume increases to a very loud volume. And the Sirius XM is cutting in and out again! Apparently City Chevrolet doesn't stand behind any kind of problems with the purchase of a brand new vehicle! I will be certain to tell anyone I know not to buy a new or used vehicle from City Chevrolet because the service is terrible. The only thing I can say that's positive about my last service is that, as normal I had to leave a message to schedule my service. Finally I received a call back in an acceptable amount of time. The 1st 2 times I had to call back 2 times or more to finally get someone to schedule a service call.

I have been in the market for a new vehicle for a couple of weeks and I stopped in City Chevrolet to check out the 2014 Camaro. There have been a few other cars I have been comparing as well. I was helped by Andrew Bernett. He was very helpful a new a ton about the Camaro. I have always been a Ford guy but due to the knowledge and explanations of benefits and advantages the Camaro has over its competitors; Andrew had actually convinced me that Chevrolet is the way to go for my next purchase! I was very pleased with the staff and my experience at City.

We recently purchased a Tahoe from Tito Pedroso at City Chevrolet and he left such a great impression on us, that I wanted to recommend him to anyone looking for a new car. Tito is very patient and courteous and I'm totally confident we got the best deal possible because of his help.

My wife and I were interested in a Corvette - as a shared experience and fun. It was a battle to be allowed to take a Corvette out with just the two of us and this almost caused us to walk away and find another dealer. In the end they did let us and we ended up getting a car from the dealer. The only reason we didn't go somewhere else is because in talking with other dealers we were made promises that did not come through. Perhaps this is typical for a Chevy (non-luxury) dealer. Our experience at Cadillac was fantastic- if only they sold Corvettes. I would think that it wouldn't need to be a "Cadillac" to get "Cadillac" service - if you are spending 70k + on a car I would expect "Cadillac" service no matter where I went. This was not the case at Rick Hendrick City Chevrolet. I'm still hopeful the after sale is decent. Again nothing bad to say but nothing great to say either. They did work with us on price and our sales person was friendly and did try hard.

I had a great experience at City Chevrolet. My initial visit was to just look at a vehicle. After the great service I received from Lonnie Yeager my sales person I ended up purchasing a 2014 Equinox. Lonnie was very friendly and knowledgeable about the vehicles. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and even helped me set my On-star. And Andy the finance officer was awesome. I got a nice vehicle with and affordable payment thanks to Andy. I will definitely be a return customer and would recommend this dealership to my friends. Thanks guys for your great service. I found a 2ss 1le camaro at Rick Hendricks online. We made a three hour trip to look and possibly buy the car as soon as we pull in it started to down pour rain. That didn't stop our sales man James he came out in the rain to help us anyway. James was very courteous and we were able to make a deal on the car and just a few hours we were on our way home with the car. I would be more than happy to buy another car from Rick Hendricks City Chevrolet. I would also like to thank James again for his 20 plus years of service to our country. Both James F. and Jason G.the sales manager followed up with me to make sure I was pleased with my car. Great people to deal with.

Very displeased with the follow up service my husband and I received post purchase. On his way home from buying his new car, my husband phone the sales Agent, Orlando, to notify him he had left our garage door opener in his previous car. Orlando said he would take care of it and he did not. My husband then contacted Ace via email. He did not help as well and did not respond. I have called and spoken to Joseph who was understanding but still can not locate our garage door opener. We realize it was forgotten in our previous vehicle but when we called within an hour leaving the place, they should have taken care of it. We will be sure to alert our friends of there lack of customer service and will reconsider any future business.

I purchased a 2011 Mitsubishi Lancer from City Chevrolet on E. Independence Blvd. and in the process of doing so the experience was excellent. The two guys we talked to about the deal were Julian in sales and Adam in finance. These two guys were amazing and gave us a great deal and If you want a great deal these are the guys that will make it happen. I love my Lancer and it is what I wanted after Julian showed it to me, I figured this is it, this is the one. Adam made it easy for us when we went into the finance building, and most of the time the paperwork process is what most people do not look forward to, but Adam made the paperwork process awesome and quick. If any of my friends need or want to purchase another car I would tell them to go check out City Chevrolet on E. Independence and anyone else out there who is looking to purchase another vehicle, go to City Chevrolet, you will not regret it. My husband and I worked with sales consultant Julian Bygrave to trade our 2007 Impala in for a 2014 Equinox, and despite our teasing him about having paid too much, we were very pleased with both the service and the deal we received. Julian is pleasant (good sense of humor!), has an excellent knowledge of the new models, and was kind enough to answer any questions we had to our satisfaction. Purchasing a new car is normally not one of our favorite pastimes, but Julian took a lot of the pressure off. Oh, and we love the car!

Adam Stephens in Finance and Tim Dobbins have been fantastic as always. I have been working with Tim for 7 years now, and we are on cars number 4 and 5 purchased from him.
As always, they take care of us like we are family an we feel like we are never under any pressure to buy. With Tim, you can set him on a path, tell him what you want, how you want it, and he will go on his way, with minimum supervision required, and he will find you the car.
We were not prepared however for the magic that Adam can work in finance. We have purchased many cars, and dealt with many finance managers, but none have been as open, straight forward, transparent and genuinely willing to work for the customer, rather than to just close a deal. We have explored options after options until we found what we wanted, and that fit our needs.
I cannot say enough good things about this dealership and the wonderful people working there.

They are terrible. Don t bring your vehicles here. You won t get it back for 2 months. Management promises customer satisfaction but won t answer their phones. No one will. I m 5 weeks without my vehicle for a simple fix. Why would it take 200 work hours to fix a vehicle? They are the worst.

This dealership is outstanding and when I brought the details of the current offer I had somewhere else they quickly beat it and providing great customer service purchased a vehicle in about two hours I was able to pick it up after detailing that night before closing Travis was outstanding I recommend going to him in the dealership for your next purchase

After communicating with this dealership throughout the week, we scheduled an appointment to test drive the truck on Saturday morning. On our way to the dealership, we received a call to verify our appointment. We were about 45 minutes away from the dealership which is about an hour and forty-five minutes from our home. When we got there we were told that someone was on a test drive for the past 30 minutes of the truck that we had driven that far to see and they had pulled another truck around that cost $6,000 more. They attempted to keep us there to wait to see what the other buyer was going to do. Needless to say that I was upset and my husband was disappointed. We got in our car and drove back home and went to Blackwell Kia in Danville, Va, and purchased a similar Chevy 2500 HD Silverado at a good deal.

This is the most dishonest dealership. Put a 2010 Truck online with a price no pictures and they didn t even have the truck there. Said they did a blind appraisal and it s at the guys house still after he already had his new truck. Never heard of such a thing. How do you put a price on something that hasn t been through the shop. I work at a dealership and know the process.I called to complain after driving 2 hrs to see it. Jason the sales Mgr said he was sorry and would call me personally when it arrives. Well 2 days later my son got a text saying the truck was there but it s sold!! That s some shady S@ T Hendrick Chevy of Charlotte does to people. Lost all respect for them. Buyer beware of Hendrick City Chevy of Charlotte. And Jason you know who I am.

Lousy customer service. My domestic partner bought a Chevy Volt from them. A recall occured so she called to schedule an appointment. She's off Saturdays so she scheduled for Saturday. Someone here "SCHEDULED" her appointment on Saturday. When she showed up, they told her that there is no Volt technician that works on Saturday, so it was a wasted trip. When she did get the scheduled recall completed, the car failed to start the following morning. She had the car 17 months, and it fails to start the morning after they work on it. It had to be towed to the dealership. They said a part failed at this time, and one would have to be sent from Michigan, so they kept the car overnight. The following day, they were suppose to call her at work with a update to repairs. They called home instead, where she was not. She told them she was at work, and gave them her work number. All day when we called, all we got was a answering machine at the service dept. We left messages with them to call her work number, which they never did. A 1/2 hour later, we went home. We had to call the dealership operator,and she took the message to the service dept, before we could get a call. Still have not gotten an answer as to what happened to her car...

Did not return phone call and sales staff looked the other way when we were on the lot towards closing time.

From the time I arrived I was greeted by Brandy who super helpful directing me and giving me the scoop on the process. Then my service rep was very accommodating as well, you can tell he appreciates what he does. then one of the host Lunar topped it off with providing some snacks while I waited. This was a great experience and even better since it was my first time. Look forward to going back.

I am a 70 year old that found this Vette out in Tennessee. Had no service records. Due for an oil change took it to Hendrick. Told them the story and Eric , the service guy, took care of me and Jeremy, their Vette specialist serviced the car. They both did a wonderful job and did not break the bank. I feel my car has the right people on board to keep it running smoothly for years come. Thanks guys.

Bryce in sales was great. Todd in accessories was also awesome. Both of them spent the time needed to, not only make sure the deal got done, but to ensure that I was completely satisfied and got exactly what I was looking for in a new truck. The pricing was transparent and there were no hidden changes or attempts at bait and switch, which happen often at other dealers. Overall, I was extremely satisfied.

I want to thank Tyler Lynn for helping me in purchasing a 2020 Silverado RST. I wasnt looking to buy a new truck however my 2014 Silverado had a castistrophic engine meltdown where I needed a new or rebuilt engine. Tyler was very professional and showed empathy towards my situation and tried to help me into another vehicle. I'm happy with my choice to go buy my truck at City Chevrolet and to meet Tyler.

Having been a previous costumer of Hendrick BMW I was under the impression of the good costumer service being a standard among all other Hendrick dealers. This was not the case with the Chevrolet one. Although costumer service was great prior to and during the sale it completely stopped after I signed the dotted line. A number of mistakes were made by sales and finance person leaving me without a car for a week and losing $500 in taxes I was exempt from due to my military status. It went to point of neither of the two people mentioned even taking my calls or even bothering in returning them. Sadly this was the worst car buying experience I ever had.

On the bright side, Service Department costumer service was top notch, I had to bring the car for service, they were very cool by allowing my car to stay there until the tag mess was resolved since my sales person refused to give me another set of temp tags.

I've been waiting to pick up my vehicle in the service center so long I had time to write this, its been 20 minutes. All I have to do is get my keys and its like I don't exist. Not happy, and I will probably go to another chevy dealership next time, its too bad

Well I came in the dealership with my mind set on a Malibu and Zack was very helpful in getting me just that. I brought a used/pre-owned Malibu and I have purchased the same before. I've had more problems already then I've had in the past with any car. I just saw last night that I did not have a spare tire, I called this morning to inform them that and they told me it didn't come with the package. Since when does a car not come with a spare tire? I'm highly upset and I really would like to bring it back and get a another car from somewhere else. If I were to get a flat now I wouldn't have a jack or a spare.
