Very nice west facing beach, great sunsets large rain showers. Comfortable beds, and a good buffet. However room service was a bit slow

Citrus Waskaduwa is really good. All staff members in the hotel are very friendly. Food and the rooms were good. Nice pool, there is also a baby pool. Long beach area and a large garden area to relax. Located slightly less than 40 km down South from Colombo on the Galle - Colombo main Road.

Its a nice, new and modern hotel that all rooms r sea side view. The area is really relaxing.
Staffs r super friendly and kind and they will do everything to help u.

Not worth for the price tag. Spread of food is average on comparison with peer group.

Overall experience is very good. The hotel is at a scenic location with access to the beach. The rooms we selected had the sea view and a private balcony.

They had activities like dancing and a wellness spa and a nice pool.

However the four stars is because they didn t offer a welcome drink like most hotels and the electric kettle wasn t clean.

Although the food is great I think they should have more variety.

Went for a staff gathering. Wonderful place with many facilities. Facilities provided for us truly satisfied and the service of the staffs too commendable and delighted. Delicious foods and have plentry of items to select as your wish. All basic facilities available up to the satisfaction. Recommended everyone to have any type of functions for a reasonable price.

They say it's 5 star luxury hotel, but nothing feels luxury about it.

It was amazing and due to the hospitality of the restaurant attendant Mr NISHAN it was super great.came to celebrate my husband's bday.and nishan made it a memory of a life time.super fellow.recomend the hotel very much.and go find nishan to make it fly high.thanks citrus and nishan.

Very tasty buffet, and the staff is very friendly, in the room everything is not properly installed, it does not seem perfectly perfect, otherwise a nice hotel.

This place was amazing in every sense of the word. The staff were unbelievable, everything you needed or wished for they'd move haven and earth to sort it for you. In particular Janitha Sadaruwan and Sajith Priyankara.

Stayed here on a weeend. The overall experience is excellent. The best staff i had seen in sri lanka. Food is really tasty with a large buffet. Rooms are also clean. Nice beach, nice background and overall, a nice place to spend your holiday.

Very well organized hotel with a relaxing environment. The buffet has very good variety of food and food tastes good. Pool is good and if you have a ground floor room, pool is just couple of feet away from the room.

One of the best hotels, I have visited in Sri Lanka. We were a group of 11 rooms visiting on 7th & 8th Jan 2017. Very helpful and respectful staff. Rooms were excellent, specially the ground floor rooms which had proper wheel chair access even to the toilets, because we had my mother who was confined to a wheel chair. All staff from the Deputy General Manager (Mr Sudusighe) to the room boys were very helpful, and always with a smile. Great food, and we enjoyed the piano music while we had our meals (this is an excellent idea, rather than the boring pipe music at many hotels). We were also not rushed to check out (as most hotels do), and had enough extra time to check out after the week-end. Overall a very pleasant experience, and hats off to the staff for doing a great job. Keep it up ....CITRUS WASKADUWA....we will be back again !!

Nice hotel by the shores of Waskaduwa. Hospitable staff provides a great customer service. Rooms are spacious, and offers a nice sea view. Great food, but the overall quality could be improved further to compete with other hotels of the same genre.

This hotel is worthy of its 5 stars. Stayed here for 6 nights after 4 days at other hotels on the island with safaris. Excellent hotel to chill out, we were on an all inclusive basis, beer was good, wine was what you'd expect for all inclusive. Coming from the UK, found the curries just right, but others might find them a bit hot. Buffett food was excellent, good variety. Staff really pleasant, rooms good size. All rooms over look the sea. One or two shops within walking distance, if you want more, will need a tut tut. Cushions for the sun beds need to be replaced, apart from that, no complaints.
