Liked the pizzas.
But need many improvements on beverages.
Service was too slow and too bad.

i personally love this hotel because of its ambiance that reminds of the english colonization era ....plus the hotel has an amazing spa and a lovely roof top bar called skybar it allows you to overlook colombo

Went to the Honey Beach Club with a couple of friends for a farewell party. Ambience is amazing and the cocktails were delicious (we got the 1 for 1 deal) but the service took forever. We got our drinks 50 mins after ordering. That was after reminding the staff 4 times. Also we ordered the nachos (1200/=) and I'm sorry to say that it's definitely not worth the price. There was only a handful of corn chips with barely any cheese drizzled over them. The manager genuinely seemed concerned when we talked to him about the tardiness which was nice but yeah definitely need to think of a better system to deliver more efficient service. Perhaps more staff and bartenders since it seems to be quite a busy place or the bar needs to be enlarged itself. Because of the tardiness we drank our cocktails and immediately left. Hopefully this doesn't happen again.

Wow! That was an awesome experience we had in Kingsbury for a dinner (a la carte). That was a seafood day... The lobsters, fish roe, anchovies starters were fabulous.

Harbour Court is better than ever after the re-opening.

We visited the Kingsbury Hotels lunch buffet. The buffet was reasonably priced. The atmosphere was good and the food was really good. We were not impressed with the dessert options at the buffet.

Terribly disorganized. They downgraded us to kingsbury residences without any prior notification. They claim the services will be at par but don't be fooled. The restaurant there didn't even have enough glasses of water for the table. They don't compensate you for the price difference either.

Definitely recommend skipping this hotel and booking else where where you'll get your money's worth

Excellent hotel with great hospitality, food, swimming pool and working staffs. Hotel is at great location and its very near to the beach. I must recommend this hotel to others. Stay fit and enjoy!!

The hospitality was great. The room itself was clean and very comfy bed. The decor is quite dated and I would expect better finishing touches in some areas. Huge selection of food on the ground floor restaurant, even for a vegan like myself, it was enough to satisfy my belly but can get boring after a few days. The biggest issue was the internet. It was rubbish. Constantly connecting/disconnecting/switching netwroks because the one you were connected to suddenly disappears. If you work over the internet and does 10-15mb email attachments and ftp uploads/downloads etc then be prepared to be pi***d off. Some emails had not reached my clients on time as the internet had completely switched off. It's not acceptable for the premium price of the rooms. The pool area was clean. The view is a huge construction site but this is hardly the hotel's fault as the construction project is quite new. Can't use any gym equipment unless you wear trainers!! The rooftop bar has some ok views. You can watch the sunset from there which probably will become blocked by the time the construction project finishes.

The hotel is not at all kids friendly and parents with young children will be severely discriminated by the management at this establishment. I went to this hotel on 21/02/2021 with one of my friends who had two daughters of 6 years and 3 years. After having supper at Honey Beach Club, me and my mate decided to have a beer at the Kings Steakbar at the same establishment. While we were having our beer, the manager at the Steakbar, Mr. Wenderman, came and very rudely informed us that the bar was a fine dinning venue (even though they had a bar counter and was serving beer out of tap) and our kids were making too much noice. The two kids did not enter the bar at any time, and was playing with some other kids outside the bar. there were only two other guests with us in the bar at that time and they did not seemed to have even noticed the kids. The hotel management was even unable to properly explain any party who have made a complaint against our kids behaviour. Even though the minor staff was very humble and accommodating, we were discussed by the arrogant behaviour of the senior management. We frequent many of the hotels in Colombo and have never experienced such rude treatment by hotel employees, let alone the senior management, before. We immediately paid for our purchase and vacated the premises wowing never to return to this establishment any more. I personally think that the way we were treated at Kingsbury hotel is very discriminating and strongly recommend any parent with young children not to visit this hotel as that is not an experience any parent should undergo. There are many other kids friendly hotels in Colombo and I'm sure they will accommodate parents with young children than the Kingsbury would do. I strongly recommend the hotel management to clearly state their policy on parents with young children and maybe train their senior management on customer service. I am writing this review on behalf of two parents who are too disturbed by the rude behaviour of the hotel management and wish that no parent should undergo this type of harassment at any establishment. Final warning, if you have young children, avoid Kingsbury hotel at any cost. Trust me, it's not worth it.

Beautiful place nice hotel great food but totally disorganized. I advise you not to give the credit card as a guarantee at the reception to avoid undesired charges.

It was degraded so much . Sky longue is in very bad shape and no great view now due to port city construction.

Bit crowded depend on the day. However best place to have great foods with different verities.

The location and facilities look awesome. The food could have been better. You can see Colombo in a nutshell from the roof top restaurant enjoying a cold beer. The becoming of port city can be observed from the top.

Good food good ambience. No need of longer explanations. 5 star all the way.

Superb Food and Affordable prices. Staff is very friendly. Good for Family ,Friends and Couples for Dining and its not busy even after 7. Parking area is adequate.
