Very nice hotel and large area with its own reef. We recommend

The hotel is very nice. But they have very poor wifi in the lobby of the hotel, which should necessarily improve in the rooms, but the Internet works by connecting to the telephone cable. We were four and we all had digestive disorders, one of us was very serious.

Certainly not a trip in the winter. A cold wind from the north. A very interesting place. Jedzonko without comments. Cold meats are not for us Poles - no taste. Halvah your fingers lick. Strawberries too.

About 9th visit to Egypt. For me, the top place yet. Rooms, logistics, restaurants super. And I didn't see the coral at the hotel. Raja, careta or octopus at the hotel. I'm sure I'll be back.

Fabulous hotel with excellent service. .but they still treat Egyptians in a different way like if they don't have the right to enjoy their own country's beautiful nature

This Resort has a unique and Epic desgin, the architect of entrances , roads, Marina , restaurants , swimming pools and Laguna Beaches all of them are so amazing and great desgin. Hotels services and animation team are awesome. Sure I Will come again for many times.

Good hotel. Located nice, nice coral reef outside to snorkel by. The food a bit one-sided but well cooked, the staff a little poorly attentive but helpful once they see one.

Beautifully located hotel, great beach with reef. All rooms with a sea view. A lot of well kept greenery. The hotel was very spacious, we didn't mind. Unfortunately, the kitchen is not crazy enough here. Room ok but up to 5 stars a little lacking, the view from the balcony makes up for all the shortcomings. Divine reef, you can not leave the water for days.

Holiday on the site, neither hotel nor tour operator have the big construction site and the failure of a buffet restaurant and an a la carte restaurant we were not informed. How the hotel receives so many good reviews is beyond me.
Although it has a great atmosphere, but as far as service and quality of the food I have experienced nothing worse in Egypt (the quality was ok, but not as outstanding as often described).
Construction site has been in operation from about 08:00 until after 23:00. The angle grinders, circular saws and pneumatic hammers have been heard in almost the whole system.

Well worth its 5 stars. Tips to bring some euro coins when a little drink is appreciated. You can leave Egypt money at home they are not used

A huge, very nice hotel complex with its own house reef and its own harbor, where you can sit and relax. Our room was also great and very clean. The food was also good, but we were used to a larger selection at the buffet from other hotels. All in all we spent a wonderful vacation there. Which is a bit exhausting, however, that you have very long walking distances. The complex is 1.5 km long and you have to walk long distances and climb many stairs.

This hotel is a hit, super nice laid out, no matter which room type you choose, it is always with sea view .. In this hotel there are five restaurants. Very spacious, you have to walk well .. No elevators! Super nice staff .. Two pools are located in lofty heights, above the restaurants .. It is worth the trip!

Very nice hotel a bit big for my taste but everything was great

We were 5 years ago in this hotel. I think it was more exclusive then. After changing the operator, the hotel is undergoing a renovation phase while the hotel is still in operation. That makes a rating difficult. It is more focused on mass tourism. At the beautiful harbor a big screen with permanent football. A disco should probably also be built. Some things have become more beautiful, many things have lost. Still a nice hotel with interesting architecture and an intact reef for snorkeling.

Bad attitude to the Russian-speaking. No animation whatsoever ....

A good hotel with a lot of room for improvement. Atmosphere very good. The construction very impressive. Large room with sea view from the bed and large terrace, unfortunately missing 2 beach chairs. Bathroom with sea view and in the third level nobody can look inside. Loud air conditioning. Good quality drinks. Some restaurants available but .... the food offers a lot of room for improvement. The worst offer so far we had in Egypt in 8 visit. Little lovingly prepared and tasted bad. Yes one gets full but we are used to it differently. The sea is pleasant and the snorkeling possibilities are limited. Little opportunities for swimming. Lying in large numbers available whether at the various pool areas or on the long sandy beach. You should be good on foot and stairs like it are more than enough available. We are glad to be able to experience that and to be impressed by the construction, but it will not be a second time. The staff is hard-working and always friendly pharmacy and shops as often on site.

Really nicely run resort. Nice and quiet, and tranquil. Doesn't seem to attract party types. The food was a nice surprise as usually I avoid buffets but was fantastic. Beaches immaculate. Staff amazing. Other guests pleasant.

The hotel pleased. In Egypt for the 4th time, thought that nothing can surprise, but this hotel surprised. Very large, good renovation, all rooms with sea views, two heated pools, a special approach to the sea, there is a beach with sand, and two lagoons with tiled bottom, great for children. Coral reef is also good. A real fortress, we lived in the 8th building, the daily rate of steps performed)) The food is also great, we were on New Year's Eve, it's hard to put into words I'll add a photo))

rested on October 31 - November 10, 2013 everything is fine, I liked it very much, the rooms, the sea is gorgeous ... a bit spoiled the impression of the kitchen .. there seems to be something like that, but then they pick up the peppers that you can't break the mouth, then It looks like you just don t want to eat, and especially if you re with children, like chicken, but peppered, also with meat ... there s also a children's corner, and there are chops, but potato ones .. in general, they have to drive the chef with a fucking broom , you can create a discount on the fact that they have an unstable situation there now, but otherwise everything is fine and the staff is kind desirable to service and ... lost an expensive phone immediately found .. It is generally recommended

Nice quiet area, unfortunately it lost a lot of charm within a year. Breakfast directly at the harbor is no longer possible, many new restaurants. The ways are further, but there are no more staff, so it takes longer with drinks. There are no problems on the beach, a $ 2 tip and you are very well looked after The free WiFi is a disaster, but it was not worth 6 euros a day.

A great hotel with a very nice area, we felt very comfortable. The 5 stars are definitely justified. The staff was super nice and accommodating. A feast for the eyes to see how gracefully they serve guests. Incredible ... what we have lost everywhere here ..... in the Citadel a matter of course we will be happy to come back ... and thank you for an excellent holiday !!!!!

Very nice facility, the food and communication between the departments there is air up. Most of the service staff are very nice and attentive, considering that they had an 18 hour day, this is a miracle!

I would love to come back!

It is a great resort, with nice people and courteous staff and delicious food. The only downside is the aging bathroom. This is urgently in need of renovation. I was able to see that through, with the knowledge that it is constantly being built, renovated and cleaned up. I would go back anyway.

Are repeat offenders here for the 2nd time.
The first time it was in January and everything was a little quieter.
But even now in September / October it is full but still very pleasant.
If you are spending your 60th birthday here that should speak for this hotel.
Staff friendly helpful and correct.
Cleanliness of the rooms and their size and the view was very good.

Very nice resort with beautiful building made from stones. The room I stayed in was spacious and comfortable. It contains many swimming pools compensating the small beach. The staff were friendly and I tried the Italian restaurant and found it very good.

It is one of the best hotels with an international audience in Egypt.
It is unique in its kind of architecture and design. The staff of the hotel are friendly, courteous and mostly competent.
The hotel is getting old and needs a necessary renovation.
Although the cleanliness and the services are overall very good there is room for improvement in the service area.
Due to the international and mixed public, multilingualism of the staff would be desirable. Especially the older guests, for example, the English language vain powerful. Do not dare to address positive as critical things.
I have been at the Citadel for the seventh time since 2013 and would suggest that the team leaders of the restaurants and the service
Master at least 2 languages.
English and French. Or English and German. Or English and Russian
Or English and Czech ......
All other topics can be handled by the guest relations as before.
Otherwise, the hotel is highly recommended for guests who want to actively relax and need less action.

They chose the hotel themselves, according to photos and videos, there are a lot of fresh ones on the Internet. The architecture in the form of a castle bribed, a lot of pools, an excellent beach. The service was also on the level, all our requests and wishes were fulfilled quickly. The food was average, expected much more, but let's say we didn t starve. Alcohol is local, but not the cheapest one, you can interfere with Coke. The hotel itself is level, so I had to walk decently, keep this in mind if there are any problems with my knees, for example. And everything is beautiful, well-groomed, clean all the time. we d ali is quite spacious, the furniture is decent, the plumbing is good, the cleaning was every day, in general, everything is very good with the accommodation. Now it s a little about the weather. It is clear that it s not the month of May, the sea is cool, especially in the morning, there was once the wind and the waves, so they didn t swim every day, but they sunbathed very well despite this. They took Luxor and El-Gouna from Mido Bikham from the Internet via trips, they had it on any social network, the guide was half the price. There is a great promenade next to the hotel, which compares favorably with of what we saw earlier in Egypt. But in general, as for winter, that was all not bad, and the hotel I think is worth a visit.

Have never been to such a bad hotel in Hurgada.
Stressed staff, food under all criticism and construction workers who worked almost.
I understand that you have to renovate sometimes but then you have to block it off.
No hotel I recommend.
Have been to Hurghada 4 times and are not a negative person in real life.
