Very nice hotel. I like it awesome. The staff very attentive. Very large area with several restaurants and bars. You can always find a free beach chair.

Real citadel and nice place to spend your vacation.

Atypical place, having a very beautiful stamp. Hotel in full remodeling of more pleasant. A real Citadel reconstituted with local rock and old coral reef. The atmosphere is very nice and the service is more than adequate. A very good choice to spend a pleasant holiday couple at ultra competitive price.

A very calm and attractive place for a wonderful holiday, the hotel is located on the seafront with its access to the sea.
Wonderful view from the room allows you to watch all day, if desired, at sea!

Wonderful holiday thank you to all the staff, only 1 slight negative was there could have been a bit more info in the welcome pack at the hotel about how to book the a la Carte restaurants. Also there are Ospreys nesting at the resort which are amazing to watch.

Hello everyone, great resort, we travel about 3 times a year. I've been to HURGHADA a dozen times but frankly it's a real 5 stars, more the whole staff is the little care, the rooms are spacious, clean and the exceptional view so I highly recommend this hotel and I hope to return quickly. cordially

Perfect place for relaxation and enjoyment. The best architecture and sea views from marina rooms couldn't be near than that.
Criticism: Variety of food is less than the last year, children animations were stopped but it may be explained by Covid-19 consequences

Visit in 12/2019. Beautiful hotel area with serious defects. The complex is very spacious and secluded. A great view of the sea complete the great location. The rooms (block 8) are very spacious and stylish. Only the forced separation of the beds would be negatively worth mentioning here. But a great room service and a total of very nice staff complete the good picture. Unfortunately, there are two serious shortcomings in my opinion. The food and internet access. The second is only in selected places. And even then, access to the WLAN is a matter of luck, even more luck you have, if after the Wi-Fi also has access to the Internet. In this day and age a no go for this hotel category. The food was also far below average. The selection is quite modest and variety I have searched in vain. Who likes Chips & Fish should be happy here. Long queues at the totally ineffective buffet counter disappointed me as well as the queuing to even get a seat. That definitely works better.

A really, really nice facility, was unfortunately not so well maintained by the previous owner (Azur chain). The new owner gives but properly and gets everything right again. We spent two weeks as a family (1 child) and would like to stay longer :-). The rooms are really huge and were, like the whole hotel, built of coral. The complex is far from the nearest town, so you can not walk out, but you do not have to. There is a small harbor with moorings for even larger yachts. Nice long promenade with shopping. In general, the complex can almost be described as a small town, as it consists of several blocks. Several places for evening program z. B. a large open teatrium outside. The sandy beach is, like the hotel, huge and tidy. In the Citadel you can swim well with children. There is a locked area with corals and stones where you can safely swim with children. Otherwise you can of course swim in the open sea. Huge swarms of different fish can be seen directly on the coral reef, you do not have to go out for it. We could also make a trip with our daughter (then 2 years). The food was ok and always enough choice. All in all, it was a nice holiday, we will definitely come back. There was a problem though. Three days before departure, the air conditioning was not. It was promised that it will be done immediately ... six or seven times ... Immediately means something else for Aegipes ... next day we had to change the room ...

On a whole, a good stay. Eslam went above and beyond the call of duty ;) also makes an excellent cocktail. However the 'animation team' were rude, arrogant and unfriendly. Didn't seem to comprehend not everyone wants to play along with their silly games. The Spaniard was particularly awful, i really hope he has been fired for how he treated guests.

One of the best hotels in Hurghada is excellent service and service

We chose the hotel from the Albatross series, exactly on the shore, for two adults. The hotel was impressed by such a huge "fortress" on the shores of the Red Sea! It is on the 1st coastline.
We settled in 2 hours later, put on bracelets right away !!! for breakfast arrived at 9.00.

The albatross citadel is like an area of the city ... a good promenade for walking, a lot of sun loungers and umbrellas, beaches and swimming places for all ages ... there are pools but they are not of interest to us.
The hotel is more for couples ... there are no children's attractions and slides !!!
For those who have problems with movement, choose the buildings closer ... we walk a lot, 5-6 km a day!
The food is not luxurious, but there is enough protein ... the beef is tough)
Local drinks are poured with more tips in a glass)
There is a pharmacy ...
I want to note one thing but about the local tourist tours for boat trips and swimming.
Sold a tour on a boat, there is such Adele or Andryushka as he calls himself ...

The place of hotel is not so good. The city is too far and the prices to go to there is 12 eur per person. Hotel by itself is very beautiful. It is hard to describe such views. Service is really nice. Of course some workers were not so helpful. To sum up, this hotel is suitable for older people because there are not so.many activities in the evening. At 23h so quiet and a little bit boring. The food was great.

Nice complex, directly on the Red Sea, well-kept and clean beach, unfortunately noisy at night because of too many Russian customers who still revel at 4 am. A sore point, above all, the diverse staff that goes up and down the complex without a purpose is not giving way to the customers

This plant takes your breath away. Truly a breathtaking resort. The rooms were very large and well furnished. Too bad that it is off the city. But a lot is offered here. The view of the dark blue sea, a dream. Very clean. Friendly staff. A big thank you also to those who get rid of the dirt behind us, clean the rooms and in the restaurants to keep order. Also thanks to the chefs who always prepare us a varied meal.

Great hotel. Impresses the layout and layout of the enclosures. All rooms have sea views. Great choice of delicious food. The staff is friendly. Holidays in this city leave pleasant memories. I hope to come back here.

Sea view is marvelous, however, they need to improve food quality, room facility, and house keeping service. I was annoyed by the dress code policy (not recommend for muslims and concervative people).

We will be back in 2-3 years if everything is completely rebuilt.

A very nice and modern hotel, which is currently under renovation. Therefore it was partly very loud and not thoroughly cleaned everywhere. You have a good view from everywhere. It is a huge building complex with a variety of rooms that offer something for everyone - family or friends. The beach was kept very nice clean, enough sanitary facilities available and a mega house reef to marvel. The food was a bit chaotic, because there was not enough space for the many people and the waiters were not behind. Unfortunately cats were often present in the dining rooms.

Hello Citadel, in April we were with you for the 9th time and hope it will happen more often :-)
It was another 17 wonderful days. The big changes by Albatros increase the flair of the hotel again. The food was great as always, as was the service. For us it is incomprehensible that there are people who complain about food and service.
As always, the staff was friendly and helpful. Thanks also to the reception, who were always able to fulfill our wishes. Thanks also to the resident manager Hamada E. S. who also knew us and was always helpful with questions. The rooms and the room service were great and this time too there was nothing to complain about. We hope to be guests at the Citadel again in October or November :-)

Super nice hotel on the Red Sea near Sahl Hasheesh. Unique plant built from coral stone. Pool facilities overlooking the sea. Small marina at the hotel from where excursions can be started. 2 lagoons over which one can enter the open sea for snorkeling. Beautiful house reef

I went 8 weeks in this beautiful building facing the sea.Ce, from mid January to mid March. We were 3 friends in a large room facing the sea.I recommended it to several acquaintances.
The price was very reasonable for a hotel of this quality.By cons I just informed me to leave in 2019, and I'm surprised the rates currently in the month of October for booking 3, 4 months before departure. I (we) would regret not being able to come back to this place that we enjoyed.

Wonderful beach resorts! Nothing more for pool fans than an adventure playground for snorkelers and beach fans!

Hotel and service of the cleaning staff are great, unfortunately no five stars in the kitchen area - food and service at the bars as Restautant could be improved.

Amazing hotel, loved the stay there with my family members. We had lots of fun and enjoyed all the experience the hotel had to give us. :)

Nice hotel with dodgy practices. Actually, I would give 3.5 stars for nice grounds and good food, but a bit shabby rooms, long ways and annoying salesmen on the beach. But the service leaves a lot to be desired. We wanted to go to a mall. Our self-organized taxi was not allowed on the hotel grounds. To get out on foot are 3 km. So we are from the front desk to the entrance and taxi rank back and forth because the taxi service is just not available. After half an hour back and forth, so we are forced to use the hotel's driving service, but it turns up, despite the discussion twice the cost (20 for a 10 minute drive). At the request to be brought to a mall, we are told that there is not, just a supermarket with food. He takes us to a "super cheap shop where everything is there". But we do not have everything we want and the clothes are cheap imitations that are so full of dust. The driver obviously knows the owner and it is spotted first a round in the native language, because we do not want to accept the overpriced prices (which are almost immediately reduced by 2/3 and still too high) and go again. Then, because we insist (what a miracle they are!), We are taken a few meters to a mall. The driver is then so pissed that he has to wait for us, that you feel totally uncomfortable. Absolute rudeness and rip-off, which lets forget everything positive of this hotel quickly. You should definitely work on that!

Love this hotel. Rested in it 3 times. Last rested when he was already Albatross. In our opinion, they began to restore order, carry out restoration work. The kitchen is about the same and remained. The beach is beautiful, corals are super! Even a turtle and dolphins are seen near the hotel))
