... Only why are so many Russians? ...

There are a lot of rude staff especially during the check in process..they try to get money from you to upgrade to a room.

When going to eat the tables are DIRTy!! In most cases there are no forks and knives. When you ask for them you literally wait 30 minutes and have to ask multiple people. The food is the same every day without any options of meat.

As in any hotel the alcohol is cheap and makes your head hurt.

Swimming in the sea is horrific. No good entrance and the lagoons have some plates made of concrete and covered by sea weed.

Interesting architecture, good coral reef.

Variety of food, room cleaning and service aren't as in a 5-star hotel.

The only hotel what doesn't allow Uber cars to come in to force guests to use their own overpriced taxi.

An excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff, tasty food, delicious drinks, beautiful rooms (all with sea views). The employees care very much about cleanliness throughout the entire facility, as well as the comfort of vacationers. I also didn't notice any stomach problems. As for the cons, it's primarily poor wifi. In addition, some rooms are very far from the lobby, restaurants and other places of this type, but there is often a bus that takes you to the most remote parts of the hotel. Albatros Citadel Resort I can recommend to anyone and I will be happy to go back someday!

Nice area, well maintained and clean. Room good facilities. Dinner has eased a little last year, within a week, the selection repeated.

Very nice, big club - really great look! If ladies night is, women drink between 0 and 1 clock for free. You can order food - with us ordered some sushi. Music is also good - on Fridays (to my taste) definitely best. Despite the size, it can get very crowded on the dancefloor and in front of the bars, but you actually have it everywhere.

The hotel is nice and the food is good. The staff is mostly friendly. Disaster is the Internet connection for W lan in the room you count extra and usually not even works

Very good hotel, 5 * but poor Wi-Fi connection. Pre-paid internet is also poor.

Top hotel. Spacious complex with a small marina, many bars and restaurants. Friendly staff.

For my taste the system is too big and too isolated. Beaches are disappointing. Rooms are large and comfortable, although there are no drawers. There is no storage space. Those who travel with little luggage will have no problems. Food is ok if not spectacular and nobody will die with all inclusive. The staff tries hard but the language skills of the staff is poor (English and German)

Shopping in the area is an ordeal. Little choice and aggressive sales methods spoil the fun. No thanks, I already have a Rolex and don't need a second, despite the good price. Only $ 50. Lah Shukran !!!
Conclusion: the stay was ok. There are regulars but we won't be back.

Territory - 5+, a great place for lovers of snorkeling, the whole coast consists of some corals, for lovers of peaceful swimming - two lagoons (slippers for swimming - necessarily).
Room cleaning - 5+, clean, daily change of bed linen and towels.
Animation - 3, in fact not noticeable.
Attendants - 4, slow, sleepy, slow.
The main restaurant is always full, often waiting for a free table. Tables are not served immediately, often there are crumbs and wet stains from previous people. Fruits and freshened dates - all the time, food - not bad, nobody will be hungry.
Total - solid four (4).

Very nice hotel. In some places you could still do something ... but it will.
Food good and a lot. However, too little traditional for my personal taste ... unfortunately ... because I can also eat fries, spaghetti and co at home ... but as I said, that's a personal opinion.

Beach well if you don't expect a mega sandy beach ... it's all coral and very sharp ... so I lay down on the water, unfortunately, this hotel is not in it ... but a super clear water with countless and beautiful Fishing. When you have made it far over the coral reef ... you get an unbelievably great underwater view ... that you won't forget.
All in all well worth a visit, especially for the price

You stay in hotel like in castle, service is really good!

So far only bad! Everywhere you read about renovated rooms, maybe there are - we didn't get any (despite demand). The rooms are shabby, the beds are bricked without slatted frames, and there are stains everywhere. We know clearly different rooms from Albatros (Aqua Vista, Sea World Marsa Alam). It's a shame, because otherwise the system (apart from the construction sites everywhere) actually makes a good impression ... but one thing is clear: once and never again. Definitely not a recommendation from us!
Addition: after 3 days we were able to move into a renovated room. These are really very nice to look at. Many thanks to the guest service for this (therefore changed from 1 to 3 stars)
Unfortunately, the food is not convincing. The Albatros standard is still very much missing here.
In the bars and restaurants, you can't quite see what's where. And the AI plan is also incorrect.

Nice resort in Sahl Hasheesh, you can see many fish from the Marina or beside the corals on beach which is marvelous. Hotel has many restaurants and facilities like games room, many pools including infinity pool and Jacuzzis around in the open air.

Great scenery, clean establishment, perfect for 3 day vacation

I just got back from the hotel and I'm very happy. A great place resembling a small town. Beautiful views. Clean and tidy. Stay very nice. The service is constantly smiling and friendly. (excluding 2 waiters) But to survive. I recommend it most.

The house reef and the various restaurants are great, as is the space and the staff. As everywhere, I wouldn't expect too much here at the bar ...

Rested at the Hotel Citadel Azur 15 times. Great hotel. Otherwise they would not return there many times. Was the last time in May 2017. We are already there as relatives. All the staff know and love us ... And here ... Looked at the prices Citadel Albatross. My eyes dropped from the price. Perhaps new people made gold resotran, beach, number of rooms. But it is not worth this hotel, for example, about half a million, taking into account the flight, for two weeks. The place is wonderful, the reef is quite good, the staff is all friends on Facebook .... But with such prices I will not return there for the 16th time

I can t believe a gorgeous place like this provides this quality of food!!!! It is 2/5 food quality.. I thought this could be only the buffet but even the per order restaurants are really bad.. the only Waw thing in my opinion is the views, buildings and the atmosphere.. Seriously.. look at the desert buffet. Food is not soft not even recognized what i am eating.. the staff most of them friendly and the beach is nice.

One of the best hotels in Egypt that I have visited so far.

Yes, that was a nice holiday! Such a beautiful hotel, architecturally wonderful. Delightful dining options over the sea with views over the blue of the ocean. We enjoyed that. And to see the fish while snorkeling and eating are so nice to look at. And so many options with pools, beach areas, restaurants, bars, space at the lagoons and at the harbor. Really gorgeous. Nevertheless, a small deficit: the staff is overall very accommodating. We Germans with our modesty are loved. But still, it seems a bit misguided. Drinks do not appear or in the wrong place or very late. That's annoying. Still, the waiters do not have it easy, there are no Tischnumnern. How should you know where to go? A suggestion for improvement would be to make it easier for the service to work with table numbers. Otherwise, almost everyone was on top and diligent. The cleanliness of the area very impressed. Toilets, beach, pool areas topsauber. Organization great, everything worked out. Here you can come back. One of the most beautiful hotels in Egypt we got to know here.

Excellent hotel! Magnificent architecture, spacious rooms, a cozy beach and a funky reef. Food is ok, service is good. If you are not embarrassed by the huge number of "ours" and locals, then it is worth going here. Was twice, in 2018 and 2020. Has changed a lot, but those who have not been before will really like it.

Perfectly. The attention from the staff is very good, cleanliness very good, food very large selection here everyone gets their money, even for children is a rich selection available. Unfortunately, I was not even at the pool in the last five years, but there are enough available and enough seats / loungers, I run over there whenever I go to the sea. Every room has a sea view, so waking up is fun and relaxation is guaranteed. I could list more details that inspired me but it is best to visit the facility itself. Rooms great, spacious with a great terrace. Architecturally interesting, very large hotel. Off-season, closed restaurants, monotonous food. Renovation and construction work did not make the stay more pleasant. The bus running inside the hotel was smoking like an old locomotive, leaving behind exhaust fumes.

The hotel is huge, has many steps. You run 400 a day. We live in house 2 directly below, there is always live music. VERY LOUD. The food could use more spices, the choice is ... could be better, the bread tastes good. Poor access to the sea. And a construction site with noise.

What an amazing two weeks we had at this hotel, the hotel is just amazing, rooms are big, there is a fridge in your room that gets filled daily with bottled water, coke and lemonade which you can help yourself to for free.
The food is very nice and always a wide range to choose from the catering staff are very friendly, the floor staff to the restaurants will help you to a table if you can't find one.

The hotel is very very clean.
There is a lift I did only see one, the hotel is very very big, I don't really recommend it for people who are mobility compared or hard of sight are the flooring is very uneven.

Just be warned they do like a tip but don't start giving tips at the begining of the holiday as they will then expect it the whole holiday you do make friends with certain staff and they tend to stick with you the whole trip so we then gave them the tips at the end of the holiday.

The views from the whole of the hotel are just stunning, the sun sets are just breathtaking.

All rooms are sea facing rooms so DO NOT PAY FOR AN UPGRADE as it's not needed.

You can book all your trips at the hotel.

BUT while we were there in February there was building work being carried out as it's only recently been taken over so it's having a very big make over so there are normally 7 restaurants to eat from but while we where there, there were only 3 to eat from which didn't bother us.

There is a club/nightclub which is free for guests to enter but you don't get your all inclusive drinks included there.

We just had an overall amazing holiday the whole trip was just what we needed we will most defiantly be going back to this hotel!!
