Hansen Ford Review

Well Hansen Ford has really won a customer over. I walked in the front door pretty discouraged after leaving Grande Prairie Chrysler and was met by the sales manager, smile and a hand shake. I went over my credit worthyness and told him I'm just in here see if there is anything that they could do. He passed me off to his senior sales person Adam. They mad me feel like I was important to them, every concern I had was met by positive comments. They worked with my credit situation and got me approved with the truck I wanted!! They even stayed after hours to finalize the deal. When Tim the finance manager says he will get you approved he means it...

Do NOT buy a vehicle from this dealership. Especially the used lot. They are sneaky in their business and they ll take advantage of you if they can. I bought a truck here in 2012, was overcharged massively on it, and then was absolutely scammed when I made a trade here in 2014 again down to a simpler truck. Not only was I surprised to find out that even though there was an agreement that the payments would be on a 5 year term, making the trade of good value and the contract they had me sign was for a 7 year making the deal massively upside down, they lied to me about the truck s history. I m just finding out that there WAS an accident on it before the purchase. AND when I transferred over to the new truck, I had to chase them viciously for my refund on the original extra warranty I purchased for the original truck. Around 2000k that they told me wasn t available to me but WAS. I was more naive at the time, but these people took COMPLETE ADVANTAGE. Do NOT trust them.

I love my 2012 F-150 that I bought at Hansen Used. The staff was very friendly. Fast financing approval. Will definitely buy again for my next vehicle.

My service was scheduled for 11am and they called me at 10:30 am to let me know my truck was ready. Great service.

Called total of three times today for the used car dealer manager. Left two messages, one that was supposed to be "hand delivered" to him and he would "call me back right after". Never have a received a call back.

I didn't have a problem getting a hold of the used dealer manager for Windsor Ford and will be giving them my business.

This isn't the first time I've had issues getting a call from Hansen, three years ago I ended up calling the manager of the dealership himself to complain about the same issue only then did I get a call back...obviously has not been resolved after all this time.

Great service! I needed to have a loaner for the day while they had my vehicle in to repair a warranty replacement. The rental was ready and waiting when I arrived in the morning for my appointment. Nice not having to deal with two separate entities, they handled everything there. And my vehicle was ready when they said it would be. Thanks to Naomi and the staff at Hansen and LBX!

Would like to leave a no star review but in order to leave a post you gave to rate in stars well I give a Zero. My parents bought a new Lincoln about 5 years back It was a fully loaded MKS , Bought all the warranties possible Glass, paint, tires, etc. They where promised loaners when in for service and all the jazz that comes with buying a $65,000 car, At first it was grand but after about 2 years I guess the romance wore off. My 70 yr old dad would drop the car off and he would be told sorry no loaner and noone could give him a ride home. 2 winters and they didn't have a block heater cord yet one was listed in the documentation Dad took it in and was a bit firm about needing one and they charged him a service fee to find and route the cord ! Then they became more and more restrictive saying this isnt covered that isnt covered yet in documentation it is indeed covered. 100,000 KM tire warranty ( The vehicle has 65,000 Km on it ) yet 1 week after a service where the tech told my parents their tires where good for another year. My dad went to move some stuff to Edmonton when he returned the one rear tire was SHREDDED !!!! Any one with eyes could tell the tire would not make it much longer! Had to drive 6 hours on the donut to get home, besides the fact it could have blown and possibly sent my dad into the ditch or worse !!!! My parents are not rich they where budgeting for a new set of tires next year, We are trying to get ford involved as Hansen always gives a runaround. Lady on the phone told my mom last year after a crackhead slashed one of their tires that after 3 tire claims they get a free set ( as per warranty ) well guys its now been 4 and nothing. We are escalating this to ford head office as I'm tired of seeing my dad walk everywhere as he doesn't want to wear out whats left of the car ! At Hansen your only as important as your last invoice I guess which is sad ...

Our 2013 Expedition decided not to start one Friday afternoon at 4:30pm. My son & I were on our way to hockey in Sexsmith when we were left stranded. The call was put into Hansen s & after talking with the most kind & helpful associate Cassandra, our vehicle was towed there & I was set up immediately with a vehicle to rent and we were on our way. The service we received was second to none & will not hesitate to go back for future problems or a new one! Thank you.

I Shop-around and definitely this was the best out of all the dealers in Grande Prairie will be buying all my vehicles at Hansen Ford.

Just bought our new trucks with Hansen. We came in knowing what we wanted after doing some shopping around. They made our vehicle purchase experience a great one. Showed us the different trucks available. The team was awesome and easy to deal with. Will be returning again for sure.

I just bought my first new car from Billy Rodger at Hansen Ford, and I'm beyond happy with the service and care they took throughout every step of the process! I'd been to a couple other dealerships in town and it was looking like I'd be paying a fairly high interest rate to get a used vehicle, but after talking to the sales people and finance managers at Hansen, I wound up driving away with a brand new car and a low interest rate! They did an incredible job helping me find a car within my price range, and getting me good financing (especially considering I have absolutely no credit to speak of.) I would highly reccomend this dealership to anyone, regardless of credit, or how much money they have in their pocket!

Service department staff was courteous, Wait time was longer then expected. I take pride in my vehicle maintenance inside and out, on a previous visit for service work my truck was returned muddy and smelled like a greasy mechanic. I had my truck booked in for a "complimentary" detail. Complimentary detail was less then acceptable. Attention to detail is Not one of their priorities. Terrible job.

My car came out new, really comfortable and safe to drive. Thanks to the technician and staff worked on my car. Yes it took them longer than I expected to get my car back, but it was for good cause. Keep up the good work. However update communication was my only area of concern which needs improvement according to my opinion.

Use to be best place to take a ford truck for repairs. Not anymore All they do is offer high priced solutions Not allow to talk directly to service mangers. All third party communication. Will never go there again

If only you could give zero stars. This dealership has absolutely no integrity and can t be trusted. I made a deal on a new Navigator and had it in writing. After waiting for 2 days for their finance people to contact me I get a message telling me they are backing out of the deal because they had valued my trade in value incorrectly. When I pointed out that we had a deal I was met with what could best be described as sorry but we made a mistake and can t honour the deal. But if you would like to pay more we would still be happy to help you out . I am paraphrasing here but I have the text messages of the exact conversation. This is actually a situation where I could probably force them to honour the deal but I wont bother. I m just glad I didn t end up doing business with these weasels. I will take my business elsewhere. I will also make sure I pass on to anyone I know in the Peace Region who is looking for a vehicle to steer clear of these guys.

I had a great experience. The office opened up right on time, Gary was very polite, helpful on answering all my questions plus offered other information, he covered my seats to ensure they didn't get dirty, and they were very fast at getting my vehicle back to me.

100% great experience! Brian Simms and Morgan is amazing and will do everything possible to get you into what you need for a vehicle. So in Love my new 2017 Edge!

We are always hesitant buying a vehicle, but with the Hansen team and Jason Gillett there was no work or worry. Sold us on the first vehicle he showed as it fit our needs perfectly. They say they are like a family, yet treat their staff like second rate citizens. I have heard from current and former employees how horrible of a place it is to work.

Horrible bunch...try n screw you anyway they can...brought truck in for service and a 160 point inspection...missed the 2 things hat were wrong with the trucks...Service department is horrible...go to windsor for instead...

Had a problem with my backup camera. Took my vehicle into Hansen Ford and they made sure to take care of me while they were diagnosing the problem and I didn't have a vehicle to get to work. They were very friendly and in the end they were able to fix my problem and there have been no issues with the camera since.

We had a trip planned on Friday last week and when I woke up Thursday morning my truck would not start. I called Ford Roadside and they let me know that it would be approximately 5 hrs before they would be able to tow my truck into Hansen Ford. I told my wife to cancel the trip and assumed i'd be picking up my truck sometime next week. My truck arrived at Hansen approximately 2:30 pm Thursday( They had called and told me it had arrived.) I spoke with Brad in their service department and told him what we had planned and we had cancelled ETC. He advised me he would do all he could to get my truck done for us before closing. Not only was this a shock to hear,it was even a bigger shock when he called at 4:59 pm and told me truck was ready for pick-up! This has been an excellent experience for us and one we very much appreciated, our weekend was saved, I will recommend Hansen Ford service to everyone. Thank you from my family, you guys really went above and beyond.

The price I paid for a new sunroof was outrageous. I can buy the same thing elsewhere for almost exactly half the price. Total rip off. Didn't even clean up the glass from my truck properly. I could have bought three windshields for the price of the glass in the sunroof. On the good side the girl that served me was excellent to deal with, very polite and courteous. It's the ridiculous price i was charged for the roof itself that is the issue.

Amazing service from Rob and Brent! They made buying my first car so easy and fun. Everyone was very kind and welcoming! I am extremely happy with my new car. I couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you!

Very disappointed in Hansen Ford !
We brought our Navigator in 3 months ago as the warranty was about to expire so we wanted all the little issues addressed and fixed. One issue was the driver window was hesitating like the motor was going. We were told it worked well in the shop and that it was probably the weather. We disagreed but nothing more they would do. Well as we were leaving town last Friday the driver window motor stopped working all together. Brought the Nav in yesterday and recieved a $670 bill. Doesn't matter that they addressed it a couple moths ago and did nothing. Not impressed !

UPDATE - Hansen Ford made it right by us. Worked with us made us happy within 24 hrs of this review. Thank you Hansen Ford for appreciating your customers.

It shouldn't take 2.5 hrs to have a service done. Why is the vehicle not washed?

I often get my oil changes done here because I like the multi point inspection done on my vehicle to make sure it is in good running order. The last time I had an oil change I didn't receive my inspection report so I made sure this time I would ask for it. I was told when I paid for my service it would be emailed to me as it was not with my paperwork. I recieved an email later in the day but it was not my report. I called to ask again for my report and was told it would be sent to me. I waited another day and I still have not recieved it. I am thinking an inspection may not have even been done? Other than these recent issues I haven't had any complaints.

UPDATE: Recieved my inspection report first thing next morning after writing this. Thank you for rectifying this so quickly.

Had a key cut and programmed and was charged $15 for shop supplies !!! Not impressed !

I took my 2007 Ford Edge in for an air bag recall, it was done quickly and an inspection was done on it at the same time. Very pleased with the service staff.

By the time I dealt with Hanson Ford I was extremely frustrated with Deny Andrews Ford in Edmonton. I had spent over 2 months trying to buy my lease truck. Nothing, nothing, nothing.
Cianne Brucker was the hero of the day. She was able to take all that frustration out of my hands and smoothly complete the transaction. She was extremely professional and efficient. She had everything ready for me when I showed up plus arranged a very low finance rate for me.
The entire service industry needs more people like Cianne and Hansen Ford.
Our money is hard earned and we need to get what we pay for and part of that is customer service. Thank you Cianne.

Brodie is THE man! Talk about bending over backwards, this guy must have a hinge in his spine to bend that far. Great experience. Highly recommended. Brodie is in the used sales group.

Went into Hansen's for a warranty repair to some software. The people were friendly and offered to do the work right away. I had the time, they had the space, job got done, everything went a slick as glass. The staff didn't get all up in my face because I wasn't wearing a mask and even had a conversation with one.
Overall an enjoyable experience from someone who equates dealerships with dentists.

I traded my truck in last night and purchased another vehicle with Hansen. Ian was an amazing saleman, he even gave me a tour of the dealership while I was waiting. We have recently taken our Lincoln to Hansen's for an oil change and inspection. While there, the technicians replaced a faulty signal light bulb. Although it was a little expensive, the cause for the expense was with the vehicle design and not with the folks in their service department. Everyone did their best to minimize the cost and made the entire experience a pleasant one. We would highly recommend their service department for anything you need done.

Great experienced,they are amazing, only one thing i worried is,they put to much oil on my engine, its over above the deep stick limit. Besides on that, they are very nice people and i love come back again..

My service was not the best on my Lincoln but they did try to make it up to me, but at the end it just got worst and things can't be taken back.

My Explorer had a factory recall and the service team was amazing. The booking was quick, the service was done quickly and my vehicle was even washed when I picked it up!

Review is for the service department, I haven't bought anything there. Naomi the service advisor genuinely cares about making sure you get excellent service. She found I was still eligible for a pre-paid Ford service package that another dealer had told me had told me was expired. The service advisors are straight-forward and upfront about costs and options and don't push anything if you choose to defer. Quickly informed me about, and accepted the responsibility (and cost) for a broken part that may or may not have been their fault.

Just wanted to give a HUGE shout out to our salesman Chris! He did an excellent job of going above and beyond. Also when we needed some work done they had an employee drive a vehicle to us, exchange for our vehicle and then when the work was done they drove back ours in exchange for theirs. This was so helpful because neither of needed to book the day off of work in order to make it happen. Because of this EXCELLENT customer service we will be back for sure!

Shop labor rate too high, cheaper rates in town, also better service

I arrived for my set appointment and explained what service was needed and what issues had be addressed.One thing asked for was to replace front rear wiper blades. A mechanic look at diagnosing and servicing it. Although when done I had a small issue to be addressed after letting the service departments know about it ,that it was overlooked but everything is good and I am now satisfied with their efforts to have their customers taken good care of thank you from a "satisfied customer"

I always get the best service whenever I go in. I went in a few months ago interested in checking out the Escape, they were ready to help me out with all my questions to help me find what was best for me. Just recently decided that the Escape is the one I wanted! Again, they were so helpful and always friendly.

Long wait and then the fuel filter was not put in correctly and I had to come back the next day to have it fixed.

Incredible experience. Purchased my truck from them and I was so used to dealing with shady dealers that don't ever have my best interests in mind, that when I started dealing on my new truck at Hansen I was floored by the service! They wanted to help me get the truck I wanted! Not what they could make the most on or get me auto approved on! They helped me through every step explaining what they where doing along the way and made sure I got a fantastic deal. They follow up and always seem happy to do business with me.
