Fantastic as the most of the children are back to school so no queuing but way over priced some rides were not open until 1pm witch was super annoying...staff looked unhappy and were not very unhelpful .. the young lady taking our tickets on entry to the park was so rude just grab my phone to scan the tickets I question how many phones she had touched and got some silly mumbling remark behind her mask ... food very very over priced take pack lunch... they did however have good social distancing signs and good parth management cleaning the rides didn't take long so not much delay .. over all our kids loved it and didn't know any difference... I haven't been to Chessington for a long time it could of been better

Good experience but find the ride are still the same 9 years after i last visited. No update at all. Kids loved it but it was not that exciting for me. To make matters worse car was beached in the mud.

Amazing place there were a few problems with some of the rides. However we were given a free pass to get back in. Plenty of rides catering for all ages. Food was well priced some eat all you can. Went for the Pizza my boy has a bad peanut allergy. No problem for the staff, who were happy to help. Top attraction. Great show it was penguins of Madagascar when we were there it was absol fabulous.

Great for children and adults. Lovely day out if you have kids. So good there. Lots of rides of all different levels of scariness. Great from anyone aged 2 - at least 90. There's Theresa thing there for everyone to do at least once. Busy on some days though. Went there on an insect/bakers day and all the lines were at least 90 mins long. On other days on the other hand some really really quiet and you could ride everything within 5 hrs. Really highly recommend it to all of you. Really good food aswell and drinks offered there. Lots of mini restaurants everywhere. And good accessibility.

Cracking day out for all of our family, so much to do and see.

We booked this day out using our Tesco club card vouchers which worked out perfectly.

Usually in theme parks food is rubbish and over priced but we were nicely surprised with quality and price of the food available.

The park was kept clean and sign posts around the huge park really came in handy.

Would highly recommend to anyone and everyone.

Great park. Good variety of rides. I went with family including a 2yr old / 5yr old and 9yr old and plenty for everyone including adults.

Tip would be to buy the queue jump tickets as lines do get long quickly.

Great day out though. Very clean. Merchandise reasonably priced as is the food.

First time back at Chessington post lockdown. Extra procedures on arrival (temperature check) all went well. Although numbers are supposed to be limited, it did not feel that way, seemed quite busy. Rude queues still long due to extra cleaning. The biggest issue was the changes to the food outlets, some places closed and long queues everywhere plus limited seating. I know it's difficult but it took the shine off a good day.

Not Impressed

Overall I was not Impressed with Chessington. Serious lack of organisation with regard to queuing, the layout is also a bit strange in my opinion. Quality of the food was poor and it was not fresh, stale bread for the hot dogs, doughnuts were also stale and to add to that expensive. With other places to choose from I wont be coming back in a hurry. Paying additionally for car parking on the way out topped it all off.

A fantastic adventure with an underrated variety of great attractions. Not just a theme park but also and interactive experience and zoo. Their sea life experience is really quite similar to sea life in London, albeit a little smaller.

I went on Halloween and walked through the interactive experience which is great for kids. I had the day off work and came early allowing plenty of time to go on all the rides and some repeated.

Rides were constantly breaking down. Even with a free adult voucher it was still ridiculously expensive to get in. All staff seemed to be a spotty teenager with a fear of the general public. Visited guest services for a ride access pass as I can't stand for long only to be met with a 25 minute standing queue! Save your money and go else where.

Absolutely loved it here. There is soooo much to do. Our 2 teenagers had lots of fun on the big rides. Our toddler had lots of fun on the little rides. Mummy and daddy indulged on both the big and little rides.

Hotel staff were excellent, room was clean, tidy and we'll appointed. Views out on a Giraffes, Zebra and other wildlife from the room. Food in the Azteca hotel was good but not outstanding.

Total waste of money! Tickets are not cheap but no much to do inside. We went with our 3 kids (4 years old and twins 2 years old) and we found it boring and not family friendly. The waiting time for Gruffalo attraction was 80 minutes!

security staff bully kids and try to intimidate adults. Just normal staff dressed as security. If you complain you are asked to leave. Problem being they cannot ask you to leave as you are on private ground. Also police will not attend. They will not refund for food either and had to get our credit card company to refund. Remember it is your right to see any footage they have of you.

Great time here. Would have liked to be able to use the normal pool more often, but what a fun packed trip. Great food, helpful staff and lots to see and do. Especially great if you're staying overnight. Take advantage of seeing the animals in the evening after the park closes and the amazu treetop adventure if you have kids. Also you get to go to the park an hour before official opening time to go on some of the more popular rides, such as the gruffalo one.

Overall great and my son loves it which is the main thing. The children's pool however is a bit shabby. The adult bed was rock solid and the noise in the night was horrific. Told the following morning there had been an incident but offered nothing. The park seems more geared towards coining you out of money at every single turn and whilst some areas are great, lots seem a bit tatty

Absolutely amazing place for a day out with children. Lots of different things to do. Good theme park rides for adults and children. Good choices of places to eat and if a yearly pass holder than you get discounts too.

We love going to Chessington but was disappointed with waiting around for rides while staff were having a chat for 5 mins before starting the rides when everyone was on the ride securely and it was safe to depart. When it was mentioned on twitter you get asked to pop into guest services to let them know but you would have to queue for 2 hours to speak to someone. It was very busy as it was Easter weekend so expected queues but unless you have fast track expect to be in massive queues while they give all priority to the fast trackers. It's fair enough to save seats for fast track but not to fill the whole ride with them when others have been waiting 2 hours to get on a ride. Other than that it is a great park and very clean and well layed out

Good fun

Enjoyable day at Chessington with quite a bit for the whole family to get involved in. Kids really enjoyed the new Room On The Broom experience.

We re new Merlin Annual Pass members which helps to keep costs down ie free entry, 20% discount on food, drink etc although 2 of our Merlin passes wouldn t let us in the park and all 4 didn t work when trying to leave the Car Park.

Very very busy. Long queues. Understand they are cleaning rides which adds to the time waiting, but was here 6 hours and only got on 3 rides! Didn't see any animals and some rides were closed or not there currently..

It could be a 5 star experience but just far too many people. Loads of rides were 2 hours + and even some infant rides were 45mins. Really poorly managed with only 1 member of staff managing the whole ride. If they had employed 2 then the experience would have been better for everyone!! Park didn t close until around 7pm due to the fact they didn t to get through the long lines. Spoke to many who were also moaning and won t be back in an hurry.

A LOT of money for a broken theme park. Being turfed off a queue for a broken ride should be a rare thing, not part of the fear of the ride. Poor expensive food. Not sure I'll be going back..

I wouldn't bother with this place at the moment during this pandemic, rides keep breaking down, long ques even to get a drink social distancing once in non existent place is a bit of joke even if you don't go on anything still cost the same.

My husband and I met up with our two daughters, their families, nine in all , our younger daughter is 8 months pregnant, she was finding it difficult to find seating in the shade only rocks around the trees. Surely you could have some shaded seating for the people who can't sit or stand in the scorching sun.

Reality is you will have to wait outside and go through this controlled maze before entering the park. Social distancing and face masks are not worn by all. Ride times have increased by almost double because of distancing. We also found that the queues are hidden towards the sides of the rides so you are unaware of the length. If you have small children they will not be happy queuing for almost 70 minutes. I would honestly expect this to be the norm for a year. The staff are helpful and understand the frustration by all. But I do think this information needs to be clearly detailed on the website.

Went on rameses to be told to get because was to tall and we had already been on it once and 2nd time was to be told we was to fat place is a joke wouldn't recommend to people driving over 3 hours away poor customer service.

Great day out! With distancing in place there is definitely less people around. Queues are equally long however because they leave empty seats. Zoofari 70-90 min for most of the day. Many food outlets and shops closed. Overall a better experience with the smaller crowds!

Nice place to relax and have fun with rides that are not too scary!

The atmosphere is great with everyone having fun.

On the other hand, the park can get extremely busy at times and as a result, queue times can be ridiculous, such as 2-3 hours.

Not been back for four years and pleased to see it is still a high grade attraction and sits well as one of the Merlin family. Particularly like the grounds in which the park and zoo sit plenty of well kept green space. The excellent Vampire is made all the better from running through the trees. The new Tiger Rock is well worth seeing.
Now, it was really busy on my visit, but in a way that was good to see it so well supported. I was fortunate to be able to buy a couple of Fast Tracks so we could get a ride on the things we wanted. Between rides visiting the zoo on a terrific spring day made a good compliment to the busy rides. Definately wont leave it so long to return...
