Lovely day out, a variety of things for all ages. My daughter loved the beach that was set up for summer. Could do with an adventure play ground not just the tree top adventure. Love the zoo and safari truck ride

Very good, *kids LOVED it*. Best theme park in UK for family. Not overpriced if you book it in advance. Easy to get around, wheelchair friendly, clean facilities. Queues aren t usually ridiculously long. Rides for all ages- some scary rides, and a lot of rides for smaller children as well! For scarier rides I d recommend Thorpe Park which is another Merlin Attraction . Good public transportation near by if your travelling by train or bus.

Shocking waste of time and money. We only managed to get on 3 rides in 6 hours. We have a free return trip tomorrow, but won't be returning. Ever. Far too many people have been allowed to enter the park, ensuring maximum revenue for Merlin, and minimum value and enjoyment for the poor customers who were stupid enough to invest time and money on this resort.

It was a great experience on the Easter Sunday! We arrived at 10am and there were no queues at the entrance tickets. Got a half price ticket from the Kellogg's wrapper.
Well the queues at the rides were long but I would recommend buying the fast track options once inside and decide which rides you want for.
It was disappointing that the water log slide was not ready, but we got a taste of everything else.
Would not recommend for adults only, but if you have kids it will be a great experience for the family.

It is very expensive, but if you can get over/around that then it is a very good day out for younger children. The various animal sections are well spread out and make a nice balance to rides/queues. Go during school term time and it is not that busy either

It has been many years since I last visited this theme park and it has had a vast amount of work done to it and fir the zoo section too. The staff are trying to accommodate Covid19 restrictions and well done to them. Be aware a large number of the public are not observing restrictions and this can make it awkward and uncomfortable. Thankfully we kept our distance, made very good use of the free hand sanitizer supplied by the park and our children had a wonderful time.

Just got back from Chessington today with my family, and what a complete waste of money! Paid online to get the tickets cheaper, and not to have to queue up on arrival, turn up, and they have only closed the booths for people who paid online and have to queue up, with everyone else! I, and a few other people asked for a reason and got told, because the rush was over!!!! (It definitely wasn't ) Absolutely too many people, queuing times was ridiculous (yes, we knew that we would have to wait, but not those lengths of times) I could go on and on... I would save your money and go somewhere else!

Really disappointed as on tv advertised that it is sooo Grand, reached there and found out that most animals werent even visible, very small park to my view and charge for entry is way too high. Better would have gone to London Zoo,would have seen more.

The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the music is tooo loud! constant music in my ears isn't pleasant. Also we are at just chicken it was lovely and hot ! yes you have to queue but it's half term. Place could do with a lick of paint and a sweep up but for my first visit I loved it. my least favourite ride was tomb blaster as if you are sat on the left everything is on the right side so I couldn't reach the targets so that was disappointing.
overall I can't wait to go again!

We went out of season in Feb half term so only a few rides were open. Great for younger kids The sea lion was our highlight, animal enclosures seem small for some of the larger animals. Overall a good day out but be prepared for long queues leaving the car park peak season.

A good day out. Wating times were not too bad. Two rides were closed for a while as they had problems. One once we had actually got on the ride had to get off after 50 mins wating time. Plenty of toilets, places and places to get a drink.

Loved the rides for young adults and adventures children to go on some scary rides the food is good for when you and your family are needing a quick fix off food the staff know where everything is which is really good for a theme park to know where everything is for once. The security are really nice and polite just the only problem is waiting know line to ride the rides which can be annoying with the children but is worth the wait your best of fast tracking the best rides you wanna go on

Even during Covid they had set up the park in a safe way and was great to still go on the rides and enjoy the zoo. Hand gel was everywhere and social distancing was reinforced by staff.

Totally wasted money and time.. we traveled 3 hours to come here and never again.. Only manage to go on 3 rides because the queues were very long, and I can t blame it on social distance because there was pretty much none. Badly organised, so wouldn t recommend. If you want somewhere better to go with the kids, Paulton s Park is better. Been twice, never disappointed.

Although a reasonable day out...the queues for the rides is ridiculous. My husband and children queued for Dragons Fury not once but twice!! and both times it broke before they got chance to ride. That was 2 wasted hours of their day queuing for a broken ride !
And then to pay all that money to enter and be charged for car parking is disgusting.
The toilets by the entrance were disgusting, with no seats on the toilets themselves... who wants to sit on the rim of the toilet ?
Enjoyed looking at the animals and the zufari ride was good just not long enough.

It was super hot today and most of the rides were working but the queuing was just not worth frazzling your skin for 60mins or more for few dozen seconds of excitement. I know it's post-Covid recovery season but on a scorching day like today, more should have been done to open a few of the smaller foodie places to serve drinks and ice cream. The ones that were open had frightful queues as long as some of the rides. My only other gripe is that the paper map is woefully inadequate at showing where things are. It's so horrible to find what you want to get to that we ended up ditching it and using a combination of the app and asking the odd staff member. Other than that, everything else was fairly good and social distancing measures were as good as you can expect. But wearing face masks in this heat? You will bake!

Loved the theme park but the hotel was a joke we left our room early popped back at 1pm cleaners were just coming round so we left returned at 5pm to find someone had left a key card in the light slot and my personal shampoo and foam burst had been opened im not sure how much foam burst was used but a third of my new bottle of shampoo was gone. Complained and found out our room had been accessed 4 times between 1-5pm they said they had to do a internal investigation still waiting for a response from my emails concerning this. I recently had a double lung transplant so im immune suppressed so i could not use the products and had to throw them away. As we didnt feel comfortable we left a night early but they wouldnt refund us the night because of investigation totally lost our trust in their company

My 3 year old loves the sealife centre and visiting the animals here. My 6 year old loves the rides and the safari. All you can eat pizza restaurant where the kids can help themselves to food and drink. It's close by and with the use of Merlin passes we can visit anytime.

Just one star because I couldn't select no stars at all...
Very disappointing. Room conditions: dirty, the carpet is full of spots, the toilet stinks but the view compensates all(I'm sarcastic... See the picture)
Their website tells that one of the benefit is an extra next day ticket... Wrong you need to buy a different package to have it...
Not recommended at all especially if you think that after 23:00 you can sleep without guys playing soccer in the corridor close to your room door.

We actually love rides in Chessington - you can find something for children of all ages, from 4 to 14 years however, my issues are : the map needs some updating as its not easy to read especially when you are there for first time; also fastrack - i don't understand why they get better seats on some rides - they should only have quicker access to the rides. But overall we like this place - my girls had really good time.

A word of warning, it's highly unlikely you will win any of the hook a duck or shooting games on every corner. Believe me I lost a small fortune :)

The park itself is a good day out for families, adults, kids etc. Loads of rides and attractions, and a zoo and play areas! The kids loved it.....

Not been here in years and first time with my daughter, although me and hubby are not keen on fast rides anymore, we still thought it was worth a day out as there are plenty of other things to do and we were not disappointed.

So sad to see the wild animals imprisoned in this inappropriate place. They are stared at and photographed whilst they endlessly pace up and down with no hope of anything. Just look at the worn out paths they tread. They are clearly distressed. Endless psychological torture which shouldn't be tolerated in 2019...

Very dated, nothing has changed over the last 10 years. Food and drink poor and expensive, factor in fast pass prices in addition to entry as queues are way too long for small children (main audience of the park). Overall, not recommended.

Overpriced. Fast track system is not world class and a ripoff and misrepresented and missold by employees. Food prices are daylight robbery. Not enough staff accessible on the ground when problems occur. Map is incorrectly drawn in term of directional layout of park. Age grouping of some rides are totally out of reality. Some rides targeted at smaller children is actually for older children. Staff do not appreciate nor understand the importance of how to deal with foreign visitors. Assumptions are made that all visitors are from the UK.

Fabulous day out! The rides were enjoyable for us all (Age range 4yrs-65yrs) and the animal areas were brilliant. Having a shrimp walking on our hands, stroking a starfish and seeing the tigers moving around their amazing enclosure. A wonderful day out for the whole family.

The zoo isn't great and the rides are dated and aimed at smaller kids to young teenagers. Parking was bad and got stuck in a muddy pothole that caused damage to my car. Parking attendent could not have caredless. I would not go back.

Do not expect a professional run hotel.

Do not expect a professional run hotel.
Poor signage so you don't know where to cue.
Hotel rooms are not too bad but basic
Restaurants are poorly run and you have to book when you check in which means everyone is coming in when park closes at 5.
Food is okay.
Worst part is cost,as you are a cash cow as you are on site they feel they can take the Mickey out of you.
If they only realised that if they charged normal prices then I would buy more and come back instead of taking the piss out of there customers who don't return ... wondering why?

This park is very nice, with some well themed areas. Rides are for families, so nothing very thrill, but perfect if you've got a mix of ages in the group as there is something for everyone. We went on a very busy day which meant queues were upto an hour (90 minutes for zufari, which is ridiculous. Could easily walk around to see the animals but there are fences). The animal talks and shows were also almost impossible to see due to the crowds watching. However, if you avoid the super busy days and manage to come while it's quiet I think it is a fantastic day out.

Absolutely amazing, we had a fantastic time, the hotel is just out of this world, with such lovely staff. I would highly recommend a visit, our room looked out over to the Zebras, the whole experience was just magic!!

It was surprisingly great! Going on a school day meant queues were small and there was tons of stuff for our toddler to do even though she couldn't go on quite a lot of the rides. The animals were a bonus though some stayed quite hidden. Going back a second and third time meant we saw them eventually.

Had a good day. Rides were constantly cleaned and masks were worn. Shops are very covid secure. Friendly staff. Park was clean. Would be great if park maps were available at the gate as spent most of the time trying to find our way. Gate staff very welcoming

Had a great 2 days and the hotel rooms was brilliant and well designed! Had a problem with the TV, however this was rectified very quickly and even offered a different room if it couldn't be fixed.

Everyone was very aware of social distancing and staff were very friendly.

Would of been 5 star apart from the lady at the hotel reception who was very off. Just needs to smile a little bit and a nice welcome or even hello would of been good. However people do have off days and might of had an unpleasant morning to deal with.

Lovely theme park and animal centre. The rides were a little bit tame for my thrill seaking teenagers but we enjoyed some of the animal experiences; meeting monkeys and feeding the birds.

Had a great day here. It's quite expensive to get in and the food etc but what theme park isn't.
It was all worth it to see my boys face so happy. He had a great day and we definitely come back here again.

HUGE QUEUES! OK it's summer holidays so it is expected to a certain extent but some rides had a 2 HOUR wait...yep you heard correctly...how on earth my 6 year old could stomach that is beyond me...all other major rides were over an hour wait each...then let's talk about the toilets...half of them were out of order, the other half were stinking pits of despair whereby I dreaded hearing my kids ask to use the loo! It's not brain surgery to know that the summer brings tens of thousands of people in daily and then having tiny disgusting toilets only makes a hot tiring day with kids even worse - avoid avoid avoid!!!!

Very difficult to get value for money due to long queues and slow service.
Most frustrating was the poor service at the Vampire burger joint where we spent and hour before getting the food. The nitrogen ice cream kiosk was very poor too (told us to wait 20 minutes before we could make an order, when we went back after 20 minutes we were told to wait another 20). This is due to their slow system.
Aside from the slow service, there is actually a good variety of rides and activities in the park. Shame you can only get to do 2 to 3 of those before the day is over.

Aquarium is decent, but on a cold rainy day in the off season we had to queue for half an hour to get tickets (only one window was open and all the Merlin pass renewals in front took ages, and the cashier seemed very slow) - our 3 year old son was distraught with boredom. Very dilapidated feel to the rest of the park. Shut at 3pm on a Saturday, which was not well advertised. Limited restaurant choices, and not clear once inside where to find the activities or restaurants open in winter. Haunted house good fun though, good mirror maze.

Better to book tickets online which gives you discount as there were 3 windows for pre-booked tickets, with us would have been more expensive though as we had a voucher for free ticket with walk in, not sure it was worth it though
