Good place for a day out to anyone from babies to older people.
It's a Zoo...but actually a very cool hotel. Comfortable rooms and bed. Fun to see the animals and located well.
Love Chessington world of adventures. Takes me back to being a kid again.
So happy to bring my children here now.
The rides are brilliant and the atmosphere is fun.
Queuing can't be avoided, especially in the busy months.
Great family day out....if you haven't been then go along soon.
Visited for the first day of the Winter Tale and to meet Father Christmas. Overall good value for the ticket price. You should pre-book in advance. The ticket includes a hot drink and cookie. Due to the time of year many of the major rides were closed, but for younger families it is the perfect time to visit...... As long as it doesn't rain!
Awful day with my daughter. We managed four rides throughout the day and left just before it closed at 4pm. The park was packed, no social distancing was being adhered to whatsoever and not being enforced by staff. Came home with a very disappointed girl
Waited almost 2 and half hours for zufari ride and it was a complete disappointment. Most of the rides were closed and the park timing is way too less. 10:00 to 16:00 can't even see the entire park. As we already wasted 150 minutes for zufari.
Went in half term and there was about 4 rides open. Very very disappointed would not recommend to anyone
Went with six year old to the winter Santa package deal. The whole thing was pretty fab to be honest, we stayed in a gruffalo room and that is very well done, naturally at every turn there are "opportunities" to purchase merchandise, it's expensive but where isn't? Altogether the staff are very good and plenty of choices available in the bars and restaurants and possibly the most kid friendly hotels I will ever stay in!
I've visited many times but always find the queues are extremely long and at times slow moving due to the way they are managed. The addition of fast-track passes (which are basically queue jump passes you pay extortionate amounts for) just slows the queue down for everyone else. On a positive note, it's great for the kids with lots of rides for the little ones and the zoo is great too.
Good for 5 to 12 year olds, can be busy in the holidays.
I love this Place, its great for kids. They have rides animals and a aquarium
Chessington seem to have turned queueing into an art form. Each ride has a queue of between 30-90mins. At best you might be able to go on about 10 rides, so about 10 mins of actual ride time. The way to beat this is to pay for fast trak More
Theme park for all the family. Me and the kids go all the time... There are animals a sea life centre shows restaurants picnic places and most of all RIDES
This theme park strikes a good balance for the novice visitors. A good way to wet the feet, before something bigger.
Something for all the family (3yr old, 6mnth old and young at heart parents)
The worst experience ever nothing saying online than we can t buy ticket same day we drove nearly 2 hours with 2kids so exited for the day then they didn t allow us to after queuing nearly 1h outside in the sun and we asked the staff outside if we are able to buy ticket inside they said yes and after waiting when we got inside they said no there is no tickets the staff are not helpful so rude so unhelpful we have the kids here crying and sad but they not allowing us to get ticket ..... this is my 3rd time in Chessington and every time I come it getting worse and worse the service and organisation is soooooo bad I m so disappointed and upset
Friendly helpful staff.....great family friendly outing and excellent rides too.
We had our first trip here yesterday and we had an amazing day, yes there are long que's but thats to be expected, everyone wore face masks and you were constantly asked to wash your hands, rides were amazing, we are all older an dlove the big thrill rides but the Graffalo ride was the highlight of our day x
Very old and we didnt see a single animal they were all hiding
Very good park only down fall is the length of time you have to queue to get on the big rides some where 2 hours
Great fun day out for the kids. Waiting time for rides can be long.
We've been here on Easter week end, busy as you can expect but without paying extra for the fast track we did all the rides. My daughter (2 years old) she couldn't go on all the rides but the 2 boys enjoyed all of it. I found the place clean (toilet as well), staff very kindly and helpful. Lots of choice about food. Is definitely a place for a good week end out with the kids! Very helpful is the chessington app where you can check all the queues time and programme your ride. Most of the time the queues are less than they said. Amazing are the gruffalo ride and room on the broom.
Very good the sea life and the Africa zoo.
Me and my wife took my seven year old son during a week day off from school and it was great. Easy to park the car and enter the theme park. We got on nearly all the rides in less than half an hour wait on each one which I would think in school holidays this would be more than hour or so. We had pizza which was really nice (not expenting quality food) and the price was ok also. Drinks i found expensive but you always pay more in places like that. Would recommend. Friendly and helpfull staff. Great value for money.
Starter was nice but the steak was horrible lots of fat and grissle
This place was great, we arrived at 10am and left at 6pm. We pre-purchase our tickets, meals and ice-cream online before hand. We'll. Worth it and no hassle on pick up at 9.45am. We also purchased about 8 fast passes and it was so worth it. We would not have had such a great day if we hadn't.
A great day out for the whole family. Lots of rides for younger children... our youngest is 0.91m and was able to ride on a good number. Our eldest is over 1.20m and could go on many thrill seeker rides. We had a wonderful time.
Loved it. Spent the night in one of the hotels with 2 teenagers & 2 toddlers. Plenty to do for everyone.
Great family day out. A lot of rides for the smaller kids to go on and the zoo adds a little bit more to do through the day. Sea life centre is on the small side but still good. The new tiger attraction is a highlight, really well constructed so you can get up close and see them. Only downside was the Zufari which had a height restriction, so sadly one of our kids missed out on a few of the other animals here.
You would expect to find somewhere for a bite to eat but because of the pandemic most are closed but the ones that are open have a line that looks almost endless and they need to control the guests when it comes to smoking other than that can't really complain especially in these circumstances
Ea sports its in the game
It was great fun, park was super clean and staff was helpful, had a great day.
Very nice staff and awesome and fun for all of the family. Zoo was very nice with new animals coming soon.
Tigers were very active and it was amazing to see them play and eat their food!
Amazing, such fun for kids and adults alike, great thrilling rides that gives such great adrenaline rushes
After early morning, (when the key rides were not broken down) , queue times were around 80 minutes. Disappointing, left the park at 3.30. We have previously visited this park many times, so it looks like Corona times even with a reduced max cap, have taken some enjoyment out of the site
Too busy to enjoy, would visit off-peak if we go again.
Lovely place and friendly staff, especially good were the elves and the stage show actors and dancers. Wonderful family break
Lots too do. Plan well and take advantage of offers.
This is a very nice place to spend some great time out with family or friends. The staff is very friendly, the food is also nice and the rides are lovely. You may see long queues, but the waiting times are actually shorter than expected. It is better to book online, if possible, print your tickets at home, as this can save some time too.
Very disabled unfriendly no common sense walked away and had a better day at London zoo
Great place for family's, hotel is supurb. Food was great also. (don't take notice of the bad reviews on trip advisor) our kids had seconds and thirds! It caters kids supurbly, remember that! Staff throughout the park are great also. Small tip. If you go off site to eat, book a table as we couldn't get in anywhere close by. We got in at "The North Star" down the road a mile or to.
All in all, we would definitely go back.
Lots of attractions and as the park was not too busy with around 2000 visitors as opposed to 16 thousand at full capacity queue times generally less than 5 minutes which really enhanced the day. Full entry price for a family of 5 is around More
Excellent place to take children, loads of things to do & see.
Great fun for younger children but for teenagers there's not that many rides.
Great day out for all the family and family really enjoy the rides And the zoo highly recommend good for all ages
Had a wonderful weekend, stayed at the Glamping site. Staff are very friendly and helpful 10/10
Our teenage daughters had a fantastic time in the park whizzing around and getting dizzy on the rides. Highly recommend this place.
Best theme park kids just love coming here and the hotel is amazing rooms are so nice. Staff always helpful
It's so much fun with rides and shows for everyone. The zoo is amazing with exquisite animals and the rides range from relaxing to thrilling.
Loved seeing the sea lions and penguins. The zufari was great, wished it was a little longer. My son's loved the rides. Great day was had by all.
Not many good rides for genuine thrill seekers. The queue just to get in was ridiculous, more booths needed. The queue app was next to useless, as was the queue time at the ride entrances and then trying to leave the park was bedlam, didn't move for 30 minutes and only got out when someone found another way, which im not we were meant to use......will not be going back.
You have to love theme parks and chessington is one of the best. As with all theme parks the queue times can be very long on busy days, sometimes an hour and a half. Worth getting fast track tickets which allow you to jump the queue.
Over priced, even with discount. Animals don't have enough space. Needs an overhaul, feels dated.
Great day out for the family. More here for younger ones but still a great place for everyone. Real honest good fun.
Unless you fall for the numerous up-sells or costs for additional attractions not included in your entrance, fast passes, VIP, special extra annual pass privileges or some other status then your regular joe ticket will have you standing in queues for hours. The whole system is broken and poorly managed. Special pass riders are looping back round and filling up spaces on a ride makes the 2nd class queue run even slower. Count on 1 ride an hour. Oh and did I forget to say, they ll swipe your card on the way out for a bit of extra cash for the privilege of getting there and parking your car!
Good place to go for rides but nothing too thrilling and can also chill out by looking at the animals
Super day out with the kids. All the rides, the zoo, endless fun. But, take your own snacks and drinks for the on site options are pricey. Also, having your own keeps the kids from getting too cranky while waiting for the rides. Highly recommend a Merlin pass to cover a years worth of visits to multiple options!
favourite place as a kid, very family friendly, have to get there earlier to avoid the queues!
Hadn't been in 15 years but still enjoyable. Must say it was very busy so rides took a while to get on. Definitely buy a ticket online and save. Take a picnic as the concession stands are a bit pricier than I'd have liked.
Nice place for a family hangout for a day. The rides are good. My 7 year old daughter enjoyed thoroughly, so did my wife. Annual pass works out well as you get 20% discounts on foods as well. They have big parking space. Parking ticket can be bought online in advance or at the counter. Planning to visit again soon as we couldn t cover all the rides.
Fab stay at the Explorer glamping and 2 day entry to the park
Very expensive if you pay full price(which we didn't), queues for rides ridiculously long. Spent all day there and only went on 4 rides. Toilets were pretty bad too.
Longest day ever. Do not visit in the holidays if your kids are not good with queues because that is all you will do all day. Queued for between half an hour to an hour for each ride and didnt even make it on the biggest rides because the More
Thank you very much Chessington for having us yes thank you very much as well I enjoyed it my mum enjoyed it and other people enjoyed it as well so thank you very much the food was very nice as well
Great place but not worth the amount they charge, look for discount where possible
Grufelo ride was great. And the foxes we meet were amazing the workers have such a passion for animals .
A very good selection of things to do for all ages. Lots of animals to see, quite a lot of family rides and a few thrill rides.
If you are looking for big 'coasters then you might be a bit dissapointed, but a great park for families, from toddlers to teens and up.
The place is great however the queues are a bit ridiculous,
First time my 5 year old has been to a theme park and she loved it. Especially seeing all the animals. A fantastic day out had by the family.
Grandson loved the themed bedroom. And the amazing view from our bedroom overlooking the safari animals.
Rides not working, queue times considerably longer than being told via the app. Looks extremely dated and needs major updating and investment.
The hotel was lovely and staff were amazing! Breakfast was included in our package and was delicious. The buffet waa a range of different food including a vegetarian English breakfast, fruits and a range of cereals. Even the range of hot drinks was amazing!
The rides are quite spread out so we were all exhausted after the first day in the park. Ride queues were short on the Sunday and this helped with a baby and toddler. But on Monday there was a few school trips and the park was quite busy.
The zoo was lovely and the talks are something I would recommend. My little one loved speaking to the speaker after the tiger talk. The sea lion show was lovely too.
There was also plenty of places to eat in the park. Lots of ice cream stalls and places to pick up a drink.
To many people. I thought they were cutting down on numbers. So many people have forgotten how to social distance!!!!!!!
Amazing rides and very friendly staff. A ride did break down but we were helped out quickly by the staff.
I was there with my family during summer! It's a lovely park. We spent about 7hrs but went on only 5 rides because the queues took about 1hr for each of the rides.
Really lovely busy best to come in June as busy 60 minute wait per ride.
We always have a really good day out here, although I wish the Gorillas were in a better enclosure.
Due to covid 19 most of the attractions are closed or the queues are too long on account of social distancing on the rides.
Still a fun day out though.
Stay safe.
