Zootastic sleepover weekend was good. Main rides were closed due to time of year which we knew about beforehand but the ticket was good value to include night in hotel, zoo entry, sealife entry and breakfast. Animal meet and greets/feeding options are available for a small additional fee. Thr only negative was they classed my 16yr old as an adult and so we had to book an additional room as they only allow 2 adults per room. This is nothing but a con; I'm sure they would not serve her alcohol in the bar so she clearly isn't an adult... Both rooms had double beds and bunk beds so we had to pay for 8 beds rather than the 4 we neeeded.

Chessington is the park your kids thrive to go in their early life. It's diversity is so vast, you always get something or other for yourself. Take a full day and have a sound visit to the park

Great place shame snow stop most rides.... No activities on hotel due to bad weather... Shame... Voucher for free entry within one month.... Not great as we live miles away and would have to pay for hotel again

Exciting rides for my 10 year old grandson, who was able to visit outside normal school holidays, so we didn't have to queue for long. It would be helpful if there were signs indicating the exit from each ride, which is often a distance from the entrance. We enjoyed our lunch in the pizza/pasta restaurant.

Not so great, due to a problem with the room we did not get the themed room we paid for, unfortunately the staff did not let us know and we only found out after we saw the room. The park itself is however pretty good but the queues where pretty long.

This place has been a really busy but exciting experience. And one day will not cut it. If like us you have kids. You may want to book an over night stay to fully enjoy this place. Overall it's a safe friendly place. Would recommend this to everyone.

Whilst a fun place, and always an anticipated visit by the kids, the queues (even on a cold rainy day) take up most of your time. Careful planning required, or a willingness to pay out more cash to skip (some) of the queue will help, but it's not the best place to take over excited kids.
The rides are great for the 6 - 10 age group, and there is good accessibility throughout the site. Anyone over 1.2m is going to have a great day, and anyone over 1.4m can go on everything.

An excellent theme park for families with young children. We stayed in the Azteca Hotel which was lovely and catered excellently for us during our stay. The tigers were great, as were the lions and gorillas, but I think the rest of them were keeping their distance during lockdown.

We stayed at the park for two days and one night at the Safari hotel with our 3 & 1 year old. Overall we had a great time but we were disappointed that the two rides we were looking forward to visiting (Gruffalo & Room on the Broom) were More

The Zoo was AMAZING, the animals and rainbow coloured birds where fantastic. The only bad thing about it is the rides, they where really bad and the que to get in was at least 45-100 minutes, NO JOKE.

Chessington is great for whole family. Queues are a bit annoying if you don't get a fast track but on our day we managed to do all rides we wanted to do. Our children are still young to do all thrill seeking ones. Zoo is lovely but some of the animals looked a bit sad.

Excellent service from all staff. Courtious and always ready to assist. Rooms are perfect for a short stay and the dining experience was great with lots of varieties. Hotel Operations Manager Nahid Yasin and his team were great. The manager himself and his team were visible and always chatting to guests which made us feel right at home. Great job all round. Highly recommended

Had a good day out with the family. Lot of things to do ,lot of things to see but I don't recommend it for kids under 3years (most of the rides 1.2height including zafary ).Be ready to wait in a long queues!!!!!

Some good rides. However staff were rude and unfriendly. They seemed to be very lazy and had no intent to make sure rides were packed quickly and set off adding to already long queue times. Food in the buffet temple restaurant was not as advertised. Not like all other Merlin attractions. Thoroughly disappointed. On a plus note animals seemed well cared for and happy.

Loved our day out here. Park very clean and animals looked happy and active. Very little wait time for rides. Only negative point would be the BBQ restaurant. Staff not helpful and food was disappointing and really dry. Ended up leaving most of it.

Unfortunately very disappointed:( we went there as tourists- from abroad. We had a disabled person over 60 in our group. We purchased a relevant ticket at the gate as well as a carer ticket. No one informed us that we could get a wrist band to fully "enjoy" disabled person's "privileges". So when we were trying to skip the queue and use disabled gate, we were told that we were not allowed. I would like to emphasise that my mum has obvious and visible disability and is using walking stick at all times. We were sent back to customer service desk to apply for a wrist band. I went alone (due to massive queue there) and was told that I couldn't get one on behalf of someone else although I had a disabled ticket in my hand. When I asked whether someone could go with me to deliver the wrist band to save my mum walking / I was told they were short of staff. I understand that someone can disagree with my point of view and say it's their disabled people policy and I was supposed to follow it. But I believe we should have been informed about all those rules when purchasing the ticket for a disabled person at the gate. And honestly we've been to London many times (including New Year's Eve fireworks) & love the city and its high standards when it comes to treating people with any sorts of disabilities. No one ever required any paperwork apart of a blue badge when you park your car in a disabled space which we obviously fully accept. The paperwork maybe make sense when people use the attraction many times over months. For us it was just one visit and I believe that staff could show some good will - especially that we talk about elder, visibly disabled person. I'm sorry comparing to all the places we've visited through years in London, Chessington is a disgrace for me.

Was good place for my 18 month old. He loved it. Bit too long to wait for rides, some waits were 2 hours. But good to see the animals and some of the toddler rides only had a few minutes wait. Will go back when it isn't school holidays.

Great day out, my children loved the night in the hotel and the rides. Only down side is that some of the restaurants will not take cash? And the queues for the rides were not as long as they estimated? Odd to see but maybe they use them to deter from customers queueing up at just one ride.

Great for children up to about 14. Nicely laid out with more than a day or two of working your way round. Lions etc are great and presenters are educated and open to answer questions little ones will have. Nice pay area, picnics, rides, zoo etc

My experience here was purely for the zoo side of Chessington world of adventures resort.

Entering the park: please book before you go so you may enter without being turned away disappointed as you must reserve tickets online even if you are a Merlin pass holder.

Security: there is a strong presence here which is nice. They are polite and helpful and are there to make your day run as smoothly as possible. Be prepared to have a bag search on entering.

Toilets: well placed around the park however the entrance toilets could be cleaner.

Hotels: we did not stay at the hotel however the hotel looking over the safari side of the park does look inviting to stay.

Rides: we never went on the rides but this is a theme park for kids and the rides look like they are made for kids. I did not see one sad little face.

Covid 19: before entering into the park you and your party will have there temperature checked. Their are markers around showing the direction to follow, que lines have 2m markers to stand at and they have clear signs around the park stating their is still a deadly virus around so keep your distance. However no one follows the rules or are they enforced by the under staffed employees.

Zoo: the zoo is spread out throughout the park but they do have some lovely animals and the employees who tend to their needs looked like they love what they do. There are signs around stating some interesting facts about the animals you are looking at. Don't expect to see every animal out putting on a display for you.

All in all a great place for kids.

The map was too confusing and the rides were mostly for my 7 yr old so my 5 yr old had to miss out. We enjoyed seeing the wildlife and animals...gorillas, monkeys, giraffes ans meerkats were amongst out favourites but couldnt spot the lions this time around. The rides were not all that...i would rather go to legoland or alton towers

Went on 4 rides the whole day on holiday time. Don't bother honestly, it's not worth it. I spent 1 hour in queue with customer service team to get a fast pass as there was a false fire alarm whilst waiting 1.5 hours for ride. Then waited 1 hour in the so called Fast Past queue!! , I also made a complaint to Chessington and no one bothered to reply. Absolute joke..

It was very bad. All games were closed and there was no animal to see in the zoo. I'm sorry we got tickets for three people and didn't have any fun. It was my son's birthday but he didn't like it at all. The safari park closed. The officials there should be ashamed. We paid for nothing

The best amusement park in London, the park is based on a huge zoo scattered around a huge complex, and every animal area has a variety of amusement park facilities. Lots of things, there are facilities for all ages and you can spend time there with children from the age of 3 who can enjoy, there are many restaurants scattered around every corner of the park and souvenir shops. Luna Park is very worthwhile and recommended for a full day at least.
The whole place is pretty clean and nicely maintained

The park did its best to accommodate social distancing and had plenty of hand gel around the park. Sadly the visitors didn t want to comply with them. We stayed in the hotel, bedding and bins were not changed and no notice saying they wouldn t be. Room upstairs had 2 year old crashing and banging during the night for two nights and even though we reported it the hotel didn t want to know.

Easily the most run down looking Merlin park, and poor operations. My friend captured the 'fast' track queue for Vampire... Says it all really. It's worth mentioning I'm a Merlin Pass holder so thankfully didn't lose out too much, but it's still a shame to see such a poorly run park.

Really enjoyed our day out loads of fun. The sealion show was really amazing. We also watched the tigers being fed which is interesting to watch. Really good out overall and good value for money with zoo and sea life access.

Great for a day out with young kids. Food is very expensive though. Good mix of animals at the zoo. I went on a Monday and was still very busy, with 10-15 mins of queue for any ride, but managed to cover most of the place in about 6 hours.

This is a great theme park for the whole family. It balances wildlife, a farm, an aerial adventure (Go Ape a separate ticket on the same land) and a mixture of themed rides. The live shows complement the whole experience. The only thing it lacks is more seating areas to relax. There is refurbishment of the Asian land for next year and the barbecue/smokehouse food is the best of any UK theme parks.
