Was good day out with the family a lot of the children's rides if child is under a meter a parent has to ride with them but the children's rides are not really big enough for an adult and think it would be a good idea for tester seats outside some of the rides to cause people less embarrassment and waiting in cues if they then cant go on the ride

With a child with disabilities this was really difficult this time, so many rides have removed the disabilities queue area and whilst some are understandable, others has plenty of room for this option

Took us 6 hours for less than a 6 minutes thrill. If you can afford to pay for fast track, maybe you'll enjoy it. But the use of fast track amplifies the sharp class distinction between people. You could be on queue for 60/70 minutes, and fast track people join the front immediately they arrive. This was very upsetting to the kids on the queue. Why feel so inferior, just for a 60 seconds thrill.

Great park. Lots to do for the kids.

Great park. Lots to do for the kids.

Friendly staff. Professional, even when the ride broke down.

The Pizza Pasta place produced a gluten free pizza in different place from the pizza kitchen.

The paper map is difficult to understand. The android app works much better (sorry didn't have an Apple product with me). Like google maps for the park. It even has the waiting times for the rides listed.

Sorry, no photos. I was too busy with the family.

This park is no better or worse than many I have been to, but just like the others queue lengths can be horrendous. 2 hours for the Vampire at one point! I was here for two days at the hotel which was nice, and by doing this you get 1 hour early to limited rides in the park, one being the vampire. Because of this my family rode the vampire twice in 10 minutes :) . Please be aware you enter the park on the early entry through the hotel not the normal entrance!

My family went to Chessington on 8 July 2020. My nearly 3yrs old daughter was very excited because that would be the first time she went there as a 90cm+ height child so that she could experience more rides than her previous visits.

She wanted to try the new River Rafts ride, so she and my husband queued for the attraction. The attraction is suitable for 90cm+ children and children under 120cm must be accompanied by an adult, so we didn't break any rules.

As they reached the boarding platform, the ride attendant asked them to ride the front boat, so my husband put my daughter into the boat first and planned to go in afterwards. But the boat continued moving and my husband didn't get a chance to board the boat, so my daughter was left alone in the boat. My husband asked the operators to stop the boat, but they were hesitant and had short discussion first before pressing the emergency stop button so my daughter was carried on going alone on the ride for more than 20 metres away from the boarding platform. We had to wait for the engineers to come and rescue her.

While waiting, all we could do was asking her to be calm and sit down, which was not an easy thing to do from behind a fence with a confused 3yr old child. After more than 10mins, the engineers came and opened an emergency door and asked me to lift my daughter from the boat.
My daughter could've fallen off the boat and got injured if she didn't stay calm and decided to jump off the boat to get to us. Worse thing could've happened if my husband didn't insist on stopping the ride and the boat went up the ramp and continued sliding down.

I asked to speak to the manager and didn't get a good response. She blamed my husband, saying that the operators followed all the procedures and my husband was the responsible adult who should have accompanied her on the boat. She didn't bother to ask the details of the incident first.

The worst thing was they continued to run the attraction immediately with the same operators without doing any necessary assessment or investigation after an incident that I believe was a failure on ensuring the safe operation of the attraction that may result in something similar or even worse happen to other customer.

We then spoke to the customer service which wasn't helpful at all at that moment.

The ride manager and customer service didn't show any empathy to us. They didn't even bother to apologize for what had happened and the distress it had caused. Problematic safety procedures and poor customer service.

We are still corresponding with the customer service through their feedback email for following up the incident and so far, I feel like talking to a bot with template answers which needs more than 20hours to reply an email.

Chessington World of Adventures attempts to provide an entertaining and educational day out for Young Ones. This must be a challenge in view of the location and the weather. We found the staff to be very accommodating and cheerful.

On line booking was painfull, trying to sell everything possible with little continuity. That said, managed it without to much hassle. The speedy car parking was great and easy to use.
I found that most of the staff I interacted with didn't seem to want to be at work, except for the pizza place who were good.
Lots of stalls to grab more cash from bored kids having to queue everywhere.
I suppose was far as the queues, 30 minutes were the longest we had, but I had noticed that few people were using the quick entrance lanes and when they did they were straight onto the ride. So the moral is pay your money make your choice. For a more rewarding experience, if we ever went pack we would pay for quick entry into the rides.
Toilets clean and tidy.

Absolutely amazing place the hotel is georgouse there is wide variety of rides for all ages wheel chair accessible food places spotted all around there are animals go to look at on the jeep safari and big indoor play area great for the whole family would highly recommend that if you do go you either stay in the Chessington world of adventures hotel or the premier inn next door to it as you need more than 1 day to do the whole park as it is so big and there is lots to do and enjoy 100% recommend

Arcades waste of time. Ate my money an didn't give tickets. When I went to member of staff they go will have to get the machines checked after business. Which is daft as I am not from London. So wasted my money there. Rides are okkkkk seen better. If u got little kids take them somewhere better.

This place is a joke and I would recommend anyone to avoid this park unless your happy to wait 1 hour 20 mins for most rides. This park should be renamed Chessington and the world of waiting. It's basically another company trying to cram in as many people as they can with no regard for an individual's enjoyment. If this is significantly reduced numbers as they say in their website then why are rides 70 to 80 min waiting times. This is without the queuing to get in the first place which they don't talk about. There was no fastrack but they want you to assume that ride time will he less due to 'reduced numbers'. Its just a con. No more than a way of increasing their profits.

An excellent place for children who like rides an animals. A very good zoo area with lions and tigers, monkeys, otters and a sea life style centre. The ride range from age 0-3 all the way up to 14. A whole day out thats for sure

We were not informed that "queue lines" shut at 4pm, so effectively the opening times are highly misleading and with extended queues due to Covid and with many rides not open until 12pm it is not possible to experience all that the park advertises. We live nearby and I suspect this will be the last ever visit, having managed 2 main rides between 11 and 3pm. Whatever you do dont pay full price, we feel ripped off and we only paid half price!

Ideal for younger kids, but thrill seekers are better served at Thorpe Park or Alton Towers. That said, with a family it's still a nice day out. The little zoo is small though and not nearly big enough for the lion, personally. Didn't see the tigers but I'm told they are great. The enclosure looked pretty good, at least.

Nice little family park. Most of the rides here are designed for families meaning that the coasters are quite tame (except Rattlesnake) but focus on the theming. Before Wicker Man, Chessington had some of the best themed and most atmospheric rides in the UK. Rameses Revenge is one of the best flats in the country, KOBRA is an extremely odd yet forceful ride and Tiger Rock is now possibly the best log flume in the UK (not including Valhalla). Not the best park in the country, but great for families and worth visiting if you have the time - the queues get quite busy!

Love it, love it, love it!! An amazing theme park with something for everyone. If you're able to, visit during term time. 5 stars for facilities and the large choice of food and snack places too. Food isn't the best but some places are nicer than others, or bring your own :) all the attractions are great and any staff we encountered were lovely.

Loved the place. The hotel was excellent value for money with absolute stunning views in the evening from the outside area. Good in the evening buffet was also surprisingly decent quality.

Staff are typical of theme parks/resorts but they do seem to at least be enjoying it. Prices in food court are far more reasonable than I expected

Good few days but ride wise the park is largely style over substance. Needs a few more modern decent family coasters. Typical Merlin under investing in attractions and investing in hotels and other money makers. Best thing to do for cash extraction but not for the park.

Queued far too long up to 2hrs wait need fast track tickets to actually enjoy some of the rides. Also every time we got close to taking seats the ride would be broken and have a technical fault. So not a good experience after 20years not being there, felt sorry for the kids. Restaurants were average food not great but acceptable so need to bring back burger king or pizza hut.

Family had a great time last weekend and the weather was good too. The hotel was amazing and really rounded off the safari feel to the break. One thing we thought to be considered is to have more rides that's are wheelchair accessible as we went with my nephew who is wheelchair bound and was only able ride on the Adventure Tree ride. Although he enjoyed seeing the animals and shows and meeting the Gruffalo it would have been good to be able to access more rides.

Keep your expectations low (especially with the food if you stay in on-site hotels) and you won't be disappointed.

Wait times are painful, but then its the same in all these places. My little one enjoyed it, but I would definitely avoid going in poor weather also make sure your little one is above 1.2m as there are very few rides they can go on under this height.

It was good you know rides were fun and around you get different things to eat but don't spend your money on the chicken it's a lot of money but it's like any other just expensive so bring your own food

In light of the guidelines regarding social distancing and sanitising, they park had signages and one-way sistema and sanitizers present everywhere. However, the staff aren't strict with requiring people to wear masks or to distance themselves. I also wish they didn't charge us the regular price because there weren't any shows or exhibitions. They aren't that plenty animals roaming inside their own habitat. So the lion was asleep somewhere and the leopard as well. So that was it. We missed a few wild animals because they were tucked away.

It is great fun for whole family, it has little zoo, picnic area, lots of places to get snacks and lunch out, but it feels like it targets mostly kids, not many thrilling rides for teenagers and high thrills seekers.

Car park is terrible if you have to park on the fields, risk of damaging car as theres lots of deep holes. There was a few things for small kids but more for older children, the safari ride was really good but not sure if I'd go back there again.

It is expensive to visit Chessington but it is fun and their is lots to do for all the family. You really need to spend the whole day to get around everything. Can spend alot of time waiting to get on rides, their are lots of rides for both children and adults. The Zoo is good and the Sealife is also very good especially for the younger children. I was surprised that the pizza and pasta buffet was pretty good all fresh and not bad value for money as you also get drinks included.

Loved our day there went for my son's 6th birthday. The queues for some rides were a Lil long but apart from that he had a great day. It's a shame that it closes at 5pm seems far to early for me.

OK, but once it's busy a bit of a nightmare like other theme parks. Queuing times were misleading, stated 30mins when took 1h20m. Long waits even for safari truck ride. To be fair all rides and facilities in good condition. Food in the smokehouse was expensive and poor.

Service was the worst experience I've had in years. Bed sheets didn't even fit beds and place is run by kids. When I asked if there was anywhere else apart from the bar (40+ min wait) that I could get a hot chocolate I was told to walk to BP garage down road

A fun family day out, especially during the winter time with all the christmas lights! Plenty of nice places to take pictures, not to mention the great rides! Would have liked a couple more rides open.

An absolutely wonderful day full of magical memories that myself and my children will cherish for many years to come. So much to do for young and old making it an amazing day for the while family.

it is a very good theme park, although I would say that it is a lot less extreme than other parks. Because of this, it is very child friendly, especially for younger ones(it even has a gruffalo river ride adventure and a gruffalo stage with acts!) In terms of staff, they a quite helpful but some could do with being a little more friendly. The rides look a little dirty and could do with some more maintenance, but as a whole they are mostly hygienic. Chessington even features a few zoos and other animal attractions, which are all great for all ages. The food is overpriced and so are a lot of the buyable souvenirs , but that is expected in a theme park. The more extreme rides are great, very fast and exciting and they all vary so the rides really are great for people of all experiences of roller coasters. One downside is that some of the rides break down frequently, most notably ramses revenge. The ground layout is easy to navigate, partly due to its smaller size in comparison to other theme parks.

Went to pick up our yearly passes today only to not be allowed in afterwards as we hadn't pre-booked. In order to pre-book however you must have a pass number. Now I can pre-book. However there is no availability for two weeks and when I get as far as entering all my information and then bank details it just has a pop up box telling me to try again in 20 minutes which I have been doing on and off throughout the day.I even changed the devices I was trying to book with as I couldn't believe it was Chessingtons fault.
It is like a big wind up and I keep looking around to see if there is a camera on me waiting to see when I snap and eventually ask for the money back for the family's premium season passes. It won't be long Chessington I assure you! This is daylight robbery.
Really disappointed.

Good day out, bit tatty and worn in places, staff friendly but need more staff on the info and Merlin pass desks, spent an hour waiting in a queue before we could enjoy the park.
Recommend taking food as poor quality and a little pricey, but we only tried the pizza and pasta resturant to be fair. Queues are long for the major rides.
