Very beautiful and relaxing! The service was amazing, everyone so friendly and helpful. If you visit, you have to eat brunch!

Chateau had been amazing! It is so classy and clean and wonderfully decorated. I love how much room there is in our room, plus the view out our balcony is amazing!

This is by far the nicest hotel. Facilities are well taken care of.

The rooms are nice but there's no microwave or fridge in the room which is disappointing. The restaurant is excellent however, as is the service there. The spa left a lot to be desired.

Great relaxing trip. Staff were super curtious. I do wish there was a mini fridge in the room.

I tried it in the winter, wasn't busy, clean, convenient, bit pricey compared against expectations, staff is absolutely great-especially at the door-they were so helpful. Breakfast buffet was little underwhelming which they made up with excellent service and variety.

Can't wait to try them in summer

Our stay at Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa the Friday night of Labor Day was incredible. Their COVID response is incredibly comforting! My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here 10+ years ago when it was fairly new. With Jon Davidson at the helm, this place is truly back to its glory days!! We LOVED the restaurant and all the activities of the resort. Food was amazing. Room was very clean with an incredible view! Absolutely first class... up there with many of the high end resorts we ve stayed at worldwide. Enough so that I m leaving this review, which I rarely do. Our kids loved the massive indoor tree and fish in the coy pond & streams along with the kids playground. Big fans of the sweet shoppe as well! They asked if we can start staying here more instead of Big Cedar Lodge. Big statement since Big Cedar has become our favorite place. That being said we will CERTAINLY be back by the end of the year for multiple trips. Chateau on the Lake even has their own Marina with boats that can be rented! We re looking forward to staying here again and the service Jon & staff provided were second to none!! Not surprising as he has always had spectacular service at his two prior high end stops. Great hire earlier this year by whoever owns Chateau!! Thank you Chateau for a great experience.

Great hotel. My room view was breathtaking, customer service was 100 X amazing. I will definitely stay here again.

I ve almost forgot, they have a movie theater, indoor pool and jacuzzi, fire pit.

Much nicer resorts around Branson to stay at than this place. The rooms are VERY dated. Using old equipment. Have a look at the pictures for yourself. We stayed in a 1 bedroom lake view, king bed with a patio and expected A LOT more for our money than this. It seems as though they take more pride in their amenities, cafe, bar and grill, lobby and front desk more than they do the rooms people spend most of their time in.
Look elsewhere before staying here.

Great to to stay in and a great rooms for the conference.

Nice rooms, children's events weren't great. One day we went down and they couldn't even find the items for the scheduled activity. Beautiful views of the lake though.

My husband and I planned a little getaway for New Year s Eve. We arrived to a hotel with no power. The power didn t return until 11:20 pm. The band was scheduled to start at 9 pm but didn t start until after 10 pm. Throughout their performance, the power kept shutting off and the band had to stop.

Our food was far from excellent. The prime rib was terribly tough, even difficult to cut with a knife, and was far from warm. The pork loin was tough and cold. It definitely was not worth the price we paid.

Knowing the power was out, the hotel didn t even offer a discounted rate or any sort of reprisal. We were extremely dissatisfied with our stay.

Best atmosphere out of the hotels I've been to, amazing service, and beautiful scenery. Not an average price, but this definitely isn't an average hotel. It's worth every penny, and the images below prove that. I can't wait to come back here again!

The staff of the Chateau made an effort to connect with me, a person not a number. A member of restaurant/grill wait staff went out of he's way to search the event floor to insure my satisfaction.

Beautiful Hotel, clean with the most spectacular views!!

I visited this resort for a work related convention. The staff was friendly and the convention space was perfect for what we needed. The staff worked their but off to make sure we had all of what we needed for the conversion setup and managing refreshments for us.

The room I stayed in was well decorated and stocked however the cleanliness of the room I had was sub par. One of the white towels on the towel rack had a huge brown stain on it when I pulled it off to use it. I discarded the towel and used another one that was clean. There were plenty of towels stocked in the room so this was more of an inconvenience than anything.

My work associate had a few issues with their room however when I spoke with them. The white comforter that was on their bed had a large brown stain on it. Since my work associate brings their own bedding with them to any hotel it was just tossed aside and not mentioned to staff. The heater in their room also had issues and wasn't working properly while we were there. Neither of our room's bathroom had a working exhaust fan. The shower filled the bathroom with steam quickly while running the shower and the steam did not vent out until the bathroom door was opened to air it out. Due to the bathroom layout you could not leave the door all the way open while you shower because it swung open into the bathroom blocking 75% of the shower opening.

Note that the tile floor in the bathroom is extremely slick when wet. There are no rugs in the bathroom so be sure to place a towel down when you shower to prevent an accident.

It was a beautiful place and easy to navigate but these issues did have a negative impact on our opinion of the establishment.

Very beautiful property with excellent service. There are only a few small things that would have made the weekend perfect! Wifi was very slow for the conference hosted here, though all other elements of service (facilities, front desk, etc.) were totally prepared. Hot water never got truly hot either, unfortunately for a chilly November weekend.

The overall stay is usually really nice here everybody is very helpful and kind except for at the restaurant. You get the feeling like some of the employees in the restaurant think they're better than everyone else

It's a very nice mountain resort with picturesque scenery. However there were a couple of small things that attracted.they did not provide housekeeping our second night here and had no explanation and provided no recourse either. Small annoyance but nonetheless should have been done.

Didn't stay but came to see the Christmas Gingerbread Display. It was very cool. Perhaps not as many buildings as I had been led to believe, but the ones they did have were extremely well decorated. I would not travel to see it, but if you are in Branson it is worth 15 minutes of your time.

Fantastic resort. Gingerbread houses at Christmas time are awesome.

This hotel has one amazing restaurant! The service was excellent. The rooms are a bit dated so don t forget your wall plug for the usb chargers. Other than that, it s a top notch place

Their grill has the best food around Branson with great service to match

Fantastic. Was there for meetings. Staff couldn't do enough for us and we're so friendly and helpful. Right on the lake, so drinks on the patio happened quite often! Would be great for a romantic getaway also.

I have enjoyed every aspect of my visit at the Chateau on the Lake Resort and Spa. I look forward to my next visit.

Location is great room was very nice, service could have been better and the restaurants and shops close way too early especially during Peak summertime vacation season. Dinner was very good in the restaurant but breakfast the next morning was just okay not sure what was going on with their waffles multiple tables had to return them. pool was very nice seem to be short-staffed out side? took a long time to get a drink. I just think for those rates overall experience should have been better.

A little off the beaten path a little further from the lake than advertised and no refrigerator in the room which would have been helpful

Its a one stop shop: Multiple choices of dining, very contemporary, Lots of sites to see. Reasonable prices ! Good ,Clean,Classy! Great views of the lake.Glass elevators! We stayed over for 2 nights , celebrating our 27th. Year Wedding Anniversary!!..We will return soon!!

Had a very large company party. Banquet hall was set up with duel food lines and large bar in the middle , dance floor installed and a stage .decor, lighting , and service staff was dressed well and on on point. Food was hot kept full and attention to clean up and spills attended to quickly. Over all a no stress and pleasure to work with the chateau.

Service is always good. Room was nice but dated. Catered food was very good.

The 2nd day staying here we were sitting in our room and a man opened our door and walked in unannounced. He apologized and walked out when he saw my husband. Hubby found him and asked what he needed. He said he was with maintenance and he wanted to see if the room was empty. We reported this to the hotel that assured us they would look into it. If you value your privacy ... DO NOT STAY HERE! What if we had just walked out of the shower or hadn't been there at all? What would have or could have happened? We had issues sleeping every night, worrying that someone would walk in again. Felt unsafe leaving the room also. There was hair in the soap dish, trash all over the grounds, the spa, bar and restaurant weren't ever open. No one cleaning the rooms, the AC didn't work - first the room was 63 degrees (thermostat was set at 80). We will stay some place else from now on. Just too many problems here.

We stayed in a balcony Room with Lakeview The view is amazing but you don't want to spend any time on the balcony because of the Giant air conditioners 30' from the building It was so loud we didn't even spend more than 5 minutes at a time outside Before running back in the room .

Very nice hotel and rooms. Staff has been wonderful and friendly. They quickly provided us a fridge for our room for free when we asked for one to store breastmilk.

Not able to rent a boat, had to rent for the whole day... Called elsewhere and had no problem. Many outlets in our room didn't work. They weren't really willing to work with us on much at all. Restaurant limited hours. Not sure why we payed a resort fee when all that they really had was the pool. We got over charged last year our toilet over flowed many of the kids activities that were scheduled didn't happen or we had to go the front described and ask then they would kind of do it on the fly

Friendly staff, beautiful view, nice rooms and wonderful atmosphere.

Rowdy expensive especially considering the bar is limited, dining is limited, and the beach is closed. Not really worth the price tag

Thought it was a great hotel. We cane for a marriage conference but i Wild day it was high end and the rooms were nice and comfy and spacious the food seemed a bit pricey. There were amazing views from our room and from around the property. We would definitely return to this place and look forward to it.

Only drawback is room did not come with a fridge. Apparently some rooms come with but this does not.. add on fridge is $20 per day !!

From the moment you spot the chateau on the horizon you will be blown away... the doors will be held, valet, every single member of customer service from the concierge, to the spa providers, the bellman, housekeepers, and wait staff: everyone made us feel so welcome! They truly have every amenity you could ask for and the customer service is to die for. The view of the lake was spectacular and the room was brilliant. The food was amazing. We loved it and every single thing about our stay was perfect. How often can you say that?

Beautiful property. Stunning views of the lake. The dessert shop is amazing. We love the atmosphere and its always decorated so beautifully. We been here many times and during Christmas it was magically transformed and so festive. The spa experience I had there was awesome. Highly recommended!

I was here for a work event. The grounds and decor are amazing! I would love to come back for a stay sometime.

Very nice! My only complaint is that they have some sort of coating on their very steep driveway that made it almost impossible to get up in my 2wd truck when wet.

Very nice facility, however there are amenities available as standard features at most three and four star hotels that cost extra there. Stayed in a 9th floor King full Lake view room with a balcony. Weather was a little cold so the balcony wasnt as enjoyable as it could have been, but was still very pleasant addition to the already nice room. Was disappointed with the in room entertainment due to the cost of on demand and inability to connect external devices to the TV...the ports were on the set, just not functional. Very pleasant over all as long as you are willing to pay extra for every little thing or just do without the extras.

We have stayed here many, many times, however this stay was one mistake after another. We had 5 rooms that were supposed to be ready at the check in time of 4pm. 2 were not ready until after 7pm. At lunch, after poor service and incorrect food, we were informed that we were on a cash basis only??? Finally the manager informed us that because we checked in with a debit card like we always do, we had to pay for all incidentals at the time of service with cash or card, we could not charge to the room. If this is a new policy, they really should inform you of that at check in. At dinner our server rushed us to order, confused the order when it came out, did not check for correctness and the list goes on. We had to get up to get a coffee refll only to find several servers in the back shooting the breeze . We had to repeatedly request our drinks, and really so much more. We are so disappointed. We flew in our family for Christmas and made this a part of our vacation and unfortunately, the Chateau on the Lakes fell short.

Beautiful grounds, extremely friendly service, will definitely return.
