It was an ok experience. To be honest I was a little disappointed. My wife and I frequently vist Branson and we always stay in a less expensive hotel. We have always driven by the Chateau and were in ah of its grandness but weren't able to afford to stay there. A few years back my wife surprised me with tickets to the new years party in the grand ballroom. I was even more impressed with the grandness of the hotel. Well I finally saved up some extra cash this year and decided to return the surprise to her with a weekend getaway to the Chateau. The staff there were wonderful, very courteous and friendly. I would like to extend a special thank you to our server Michael in the dining room. He went above and beyond to make sure that our experience was extra special. Now for the bad. Our room was not what I had hoped for with the money that I had spent. The a/c was sub par, it had a leak from the filter that dripped pretty steady. I had to put a garbage can under it until maintenance could come take a look at it. There were nats or some kind of bugs in the sink and bathtub. There were at least 3 different active spiders webs throughout the room. The room had an overall staleness to it. Not a stink but not freshness. Overall it was not the experience that we were hoping for. Maybe we just built up in our heads something that was not there.

We visited the lobby to view the gingerbread house display. Employees were friendly Even though we weren't staying at the resort. It was a beautiful well kept resort from what we saw. I would absolutely consider staying there in the future.

Love this place. Staff is very curteous and willing to go above and beyond to get things right if you don't like to room you are in. They have loits of things in the hotel itsrlf and it us open to public so can be very noisy downstairs. The rooms are beautiful but unless upgraded you do not get refrigerator or porch. Very beautiful and rooms are very quiet.

We didnt stay here, we just went to see their gingerbread Christmas village they do each year. It was neat, Large, and free, but only took about 2 minutes to actually look at everything. But it was a good timekiller when we just wanted to drive around and do free stuff in branson.

I didn't actually stay in the room here. My wife and I were here for a retreat in the conference rooms. Everything the hotel offered was overpriced. The people were friendly is the reason for 3 Stars!

Located in a magical spot on the shores of Table Rock Lake, the Chateau on the Lake Resort Spa is a delightful and dreamy place to stay. While the luxury resort itself looks exquisite, the views from its rooms of the surrounding mountains and lakes are just as divine.

Rated fabulous by guests, the four-star hotel boasts two swimming pools, a gym, and tennis courts, as well as friendly and welcoming staff. Besides, there are three wonderful restaurants to try out, and lots of massages, treatments, and well-care packages to be enjoyed at its spa.

Location: The Chateau is a five-minute drive from Table Rock State Park and Pointe Royale Golf Course and a ten-minute drive from the strip

This place is beautiful and everyone is so kind. A Beautiful setting right between the mountains and the lake. It has a man made rock a water stream running through the bottom of the hotel. A work out room, a real spa and several restaurants a children's area and a movie theater.

The stop at Branson was our final stop in our anniversary trip around the US. After making reservations (night before) I contacted your customer service by email to let you know that we would be celebrating our 25th anniversary with your establishment. Upon arrival when we checked in we were told 'Happy Anniversary' and the we had been comped with a no charge upgrade by management. What a nice follow thru for us. We have been traveling for over 2 weeks and stayed in over 15 different very nice establishments. I told each one that we were celebrating our anniversary and none acknowledged it by presenting us an upgrade or by Welcoming us with a plate of treats and a hand written card. But you did and it made our experience even more special. Everyone from the doormen, to the reception desk was very helpful and welcoming. Angel (concierge) helped us by offering us a map and highlighted a path around town. She also showed us where some good eateries are and gave us a card for complimentary appetizers at Landry's.

The partial view of the lake from our balcony was beautiful however we found that we couldn't use the balcony at night because of the blinding spotlight. The room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. Thank you for giving us a great experience in an area that we look forward to revisiting again soon!

Prior to my most recent experience, I'd rate Chateau a 5 out of 5 no questions asked, because they have something for everyone! A private movie theater, a few arcade games, a little daycare, pool, bar, gift shops, a dock with fishing gear and boats. While waiting for the time to be nearer to the boarding of Showboat Branson Bell we stopped by the coffee shop inside Chateau on the Lake for a quick caffeine fixer. Of the two women working behind the counter, I felt bad for the older woman, because the woman who took my order was someone who doesn't realize their tone and and choice of words are not friendly nor hospitable. Could've had better service elsewhere.

I surprised my boyfriend with a couples massage. When picking a location I went for the one closest to where we were staying. The issue is when I called and asked the price for a couples massage I was told $130. Every where I have traveled over the years the cost for one massage was between $45-$60. I felt this was reasonable so I scheduled it. We get there and I find out this was the price a piece which I was not told of. If I had of we never would have scheduled there. We were on a limited budget for our vacation as it was. I was then told if i canceled I still had to pay full price. I felt completely deceived by the whole process. This turned from something relaxing to something that stressed me out for the rest of the vacation trying to recover from spending such a crazy amount on a massage. The massage was good. I had no issues with the people performing the service and they did help an injury that I have. However after being tricked like that on prices. I will never be back to anything to do with this place whether that be spa services or hotel stay. Make sure to ask very specific questions if you choose to use them.

Beautiful view. Excellent food. Rooms clean, comfortable but very dated. I think they might be going for the look. I don't prefer. I like a lighter more modern room. The bathroom was great too. Staff, um well nothing special and a bit off.... Overall I would go again I loved it. The hotel is relaxing has a beautiful lobby and bar. Bar is great with a creative friendly bartender.

Other than the fact you could hear a pop corn kernel pop in the neighbors room, or a door slamming at 7 am 8 doors down, and the fact we had to pay extra for a mini fridge in our room, this place was ok. They also tried to charge us an extra 52 dollars for ammentities we didn t care to use nor did use. We pre paid online and that seemed like a sneaky way to get more money out. They ended waiving the charge. All in all this is a nice environment and a decent place to stay.

Our eleventh visit to Branson and ninth stay at the Chateau. The staff is always professional and the guests are mostly patriotic. Having stayed at resorts worldwide over my seventy-five years, the Chateau is a Ritz and Grand combined with an Ozark Twist surrounded by more attractions than one can take in. Should someone develop a winter artificial snow ski slope with lift near the Branson area, well the Chateau would be the best resort hotel in the nation based on year-round activities. With meeting and conference space for all but very large groups and prices about one-fourth that of metropolitan areas, the cost savings will prove a wise financial decision. Busing in from the Springfield airport or chartering flights to the nearby Branson airport are options if driving in is not preferred. The Chateau On The Lake is a five star for this family.

We attended a Sunday champagne brunch. The experience was definitely worth the money. Beautiful atmosphere and the food was to die for. However, one of the hostesses was pretty rude. We had reservations for 11:00 and was told by her that we would be called. My husband and I walked back toward the desk around 11:30 and as we were approached by someone else, he asked if we had been helped. When I relayed what the lady had told us, he seemed upset and let us know that we would be seated right away. The lady sat us finally and everything was great from that point. Other than poor initial service, I would recommend to anyone.

It's been a while since I've been, but I had an amazing time here. The staff were excellent, so helpful and the rooms were beautiful and very well kept. The atrium was very impressive as well. Highly recommended to anyone staying in the area, and I'd recommend taking a boat over the lake.
