Ordered a computer from Centre Com. Got it, took it home and tried to set it up. Didn't work. Couldn't figure out the problem, Centre Com was no help, paid for a tech to come in and check out. He figured out that i had got the wrong computer. Returned it, got another one, supposedly the one I had ordered in the first place. Asked Center Com to reimburse me for the cost of the tech. They refused. Managed to get it set up but it keeps crashing and crashing and crashing. Spent over $1K over the cost of the computer in repair and after over a year of living with this piece of garbage, am finally throwing in the towel. Thanks Centre Com.

I've moved into a new home and I've always wanted to do a ceiling mounted access point. I've researched online and got a fair understanding but was still unsure. Apart from ordering online or buying secondhand from Gumtree, Centrecom was the only supplier I could obtain an Ubiquiti Unifi from. Robert helped me today, saved me money, answered a myriad of questions and best of all, gave me confidence that I could complete this job as a novice in I.T. All done, took me ten minutes to set up because of what he told me and I feel super accomplished. Thanks Robert!

I purchased an item from them during their click frenzy sale. The item was processed quickly and I was given a tracking number for the item. That was when the delivery nightmare began.
After around 3 weeks the item still had not arrived, so I contacted Australia Post who advised that they do not have the item and I need to contact Centrecom.
I was told by them it would take 7 days to get feedback from them, this never happened so I contacted them again and was advised that they would re investigate and get back to me. Needless to say I am still waiting.
I contacted AP again and was told to contact Centrecom again. Still nothing.
Last week I received a refund for the item from PayPal for the item, and you guessed nothing from Centrecom.

I bought a PC (BLAZE Ryzen 1650 Super' Gaming System) for my son s birthday. Ordered and received it a month early to make sure he ll get it on time which it did. Opened and test of it works before his bday. The HDMI to connect to the monitor took few seconds to connect. Have to re insert it few times to check if it s not the cable. The WiFi connection has 1-2 bars and sometimes it disconnects. My phone when in my sons room has full bars Wifi connection. So 1-2 bars was very slow. Anyway left it at that and put it back in the box for my sons birthday. The day comes, my son was so excited. Plugged everything in, created his windows account, then the WiFi disconnected. So we try connecting it again by right clicking on the network icon. The options I had (manual, in an hour, later) it s weird they don t have automatic option for the WiFi. Plus it s more weird that it has a later option to connect for the WiFi. Anyway, we clicked MANUAL and that started the headache! The PC froze, once it wasn t frozen anymore the blue screen of death pops up (error: Something went wrong...restarting..) and then another blue screen pops up with options to take to try fix the issue. Tried all options but to no avail. It always go back to the first error blue screen. Can t even get the recovery environment up to try reset to its original setting. how frustrating and it happened on my sons birthday.
More frustrations because I didn t test it long enough right after I received it, the free pick up for DOA is over due. So have to pay for the cost to return it since I can t drop it off with this Covid
So wait for more reviews on how it will take them to fix and return it to me.

We ordered a screen from this shop 2 weeks ago. Email confirmed delivery last Wednesday which, the screen did not arrived. Have contacted the shop to follow up almost everyday with no clear answers. No delivery date is committed. Today, after 3 calls, been put on hold, got hang up on, we finally got to speak to someone. The answer we got was that they can not committed to anything. We just have to sit and wait until we received an email from the shop. Beyond disappointment.

Desperately needed a replacement laptop charger after my puppy chewed through mine. Like everyone else my laptop is my life at the moment with online university classes.
Purchased the (ONLY) universal laptop charger available for click and collect, to get it ASAP. I checked on the website that it supported Lenovo laptops. However was disappointed to find that it did not fit my laptop. I have now had to order from another site and Centrecom will not allow me to return this item.
It is difficult to order the correct item online - normally I would take the old charger or laptop in store to ensure the correct product but this is not an option.
Incredibly disappointed that there is no consideration of the difficulties of trying to purchase the correct product online when you can't see it in person and double check sizes ect.

So in 4 days i call up and to find out when i should come in to pick it up. I am told sorry but its going to be another 5 days. I think nothing of it and wait. This happens for a month. I call every friday to be told sorry and that it will be in next friday. I was told that i would be updated on my incoming pc's whereabouts and i never was. I'm very disappointed with my Toshiba laptop which I bought from centre com 2 years ago (because I thought Toshiba was a good brand), within 12 months the speed of the laptop gradually diminished, took it back to store paid $55 to have it reformatted and was told it would run more smoothly once this was done. Computer worked ok for a few weeks then gradually slowed down again, it has now slowed down to a point where it freezes completely and the computer is rendered completely useless. The Bluetooth also doesn't work, I bought 2 Bluetooth speakers, one from Kmart and a Sony, both failed to connect to the computer. I called back and was told nothing can be done as it is past the 12 months warranty and to bring it back again to have it checked again and I will be charged another $55 for this to be done. Regardless of it being past the warranty period, the laptop is only 2 years old and shouldn't be doing this, it is not doing what it is supposed to and Centre com should take responsibility for selling me a faulty or poor product. If you're trying to run a successful business, then there's no such thing as "nothing can be done". Selling poor products will reflect on your business whether you made it or another company did. So thanks Centre com, for selling me a lemon

I wrote this E-mail a few days ago, with a bad experience shopping in CenterCom:
"I am writing this email in regards to the order that I received yesterday. The product surely has some quality issue. I install the HDD hard-drive yesterday and hope to back-up my pictures and videos of the last few years and some of my confidential documents. It works last night, and when I get up today morning, the HDD hard drive won't start. I tried to change to brand new power supply cable and SATAIII cable, and it is not working at all. I did try to install it to another independent computer, and it seems that the hard drive itself died. I have a background with IT, and I am pretty sure that the problem is caused by a deficient product that you provided to me as of order 431258- (Western Digital 14TB WD140PURZ Purple 3.5" SATA3 Surveillance Hard Drive (Normal)). In such a situation, I have to make another purchase today to buy another HDD hard drive to continue my work and backup procedure, I am really unsatisfied about the situation with your company, and the deficient product.
I can show the deficient product to you in person after stage 4, or any date as per appointment that suits you. But I can not give back the HDD hard drive as all my picture is in storage on it, as well as some of my confidential password/blockchain backup. As emphasize, I could surely show in any of your store in person that the HDD drive is not working, and truly deficient. I don't know what you can do to help, or what I can seek for help. I will not threaten my self of losing my confidential information by replacing or repairing it in an unknown location. That is the reason I purchase another HDD drive from your website again!. I would be more than appreciate if you could provide an alternative way to help me in such a situation.
I have previously purchased a lot of computer-related parts from your store under my phone number(04---------) and never been disappointed like this, and I hope we could work out a more acceptable result for both of our side.

But got the following reply:
"I apologise for any inconvenience this issue has caused you, we are happy to replace or refund the faulty hard drive but the faulty hard drive MUST be returned; we will not consider providing a replacement or refund without receiving it back first. Linked below is a prepaid postage label which can be used to return your hard drive."
Well, I can see their concern, But, if there would not be an option that allows me to demonstrate the faulty item in person, and keep it, I would not consider to return it. I would say that I would never shop in center.com if I have other options in other stores.
In fact, with the customer service part, PLE offers a much better experience for me. I bought an EK water cooling system from them, and one of the accessories within the kit had some quality problem after 1 years time, they just give me brand new kit without letting me to uninstall the whole water cooling kit from my desktop case, which was impressed.
I can see upon your policy, you are not able to refund/replace the item without having the old ones. But in this case, the risk is too high on my end. My whole blockchain backup is inside, and worth over 100 thousand dollars, as well as my personal videos/pictures. I would not risk myself of returning my product.
No one wants an item like this HDD drive, and after you put your staffs insides it, it will die eventually. I was assuming their packing method was a little bit unacceptable since they put the HDD drive into a 3x larger box, which creates too much vibration, hence damages the drive.
Will never shop here again if other options are available.

(1) I had 2 PC's repaired at the Sunshine Store. My first was a Gaming PC which had Software problems. The Tech's there said that they weren't busy & should have it back asap. I dropped my PC off on a Thursday evening & had to ring them on the following Wednesday to ask about the status? A Tech said that they were still working on it & it should be ready by the end of the week? I called back again on Friday to ask if my PC was ready? They said "No". I had to call them twice more as in that time as not one of their staff ever called me to keep me in the loop. I eventually picked up my PC 2 weeks later. (2) I thought that I would give them another chance & dropped off my main PC to them which had Hardware issues. A week went by before I had to once again call them to ask what was going on? I heard an excuse that the Tech working on it had taken a sick day off & they weren't sure of the status? Daniel called me back the same day to say that they found 2 issues & were working on it & that it should be ready soon? Another week went by & i decided to go & see them. When I asked what's going on? A Tech said, "Oh yeah, it's ready." Now you got to be shitting me? This whole thing took over 2 weeks. I'm a very patient person, but this was ridiculous. The Manager ther must know that he has a problem or maybe he doesn't regard "Customer Service & Communication" as a high priority, which as far as I'm concerned is PARAMOUNT in any business. Don't get me wrong, the Staff were nice, but their Customer Service & Communication were non existent unfortunately, except for that one call from Daniel. Sorry guys, but this really needs to improve within your business. You are basically the peoples first choice as they have trouble trusting the smaller shops, so we rely on you guys for support & help with your expertise in fixing our PC's & having it ready for us in a good turnaround time. My hard drive crashed and I had them replace it. I spent $287.00 doing it. I also asked for the keyboard to be replaced because I had a shift key that wasn't working. I was told I would be charged $55 as a diagnostic fee, just to look at it. When I spoke to a manager about it he claimed that it was necessary and that all computer repair places charged for it.
When we discussed it further, he changed his tune- it was now a charge for pulling the computer apart to get to the keyboard because that took a long time to do. So he was going to charge me a labour fee to open it up and then the cost of parts and then another labour fee for the work done. I said I would take it somewhere else.
I took the computer to a place close to work recommended by a colleague and was not charged the diagnostic fee. As it turned out, it was another Centre Com.
I've spent a lot of money with them over 2 years but will not be going back to Centre Com Sunshine.

Came in to change the battery of my iPhone. The lady was not the nicest to deal with. Need more people skills. I was next in queue but she served some one else, not friendly or informative at all. If you changing your iPhone battery and not in a rush, don t do it at the retailers. They charge you $69 instead of $39.
