Arranged over the phone to use a monitor to test my software.. repeated the request to the guy at the door counter 3 times. Yes I had spoken to someone on the phone. Yes they said I could use a monitor. No I don't remember his name. Yes its the hi res monitor. Can I use a monitor. 3 times saying the same things.. I left saying I cant deal with people who are this stupid. Reminded me I tried to buy a PC from these clowns about 3 years ago. Same issue. Don't listen and no customer service. I recently had a warranty issue with a Razer Blade 15 laptop purchased at Centrecom Sunshine. Everyone I engaged with (Sales, Support, and Manager) were all highly professional, super friendly and very supportive.

Unfortunately the laptop had to be returned (Razer QC issue, not Centrecom), but they offered me a full refund on the laptop and the extra parts I purchased to upgrade it (Ram, SSD, and a USB Type C to DP Cable which were unopened and with receipt of course).

Based on my recent experience alone, I will absolutely continue to shop at Centrecom Sunshine, and happily recommend it to anyone.

Huge shout out to Ian, Blake, Nadun and Brenton for turning a frustrating warranty issue into a good customer experience and earning trust. See you guys soon!

Absolutely apalling - Had my iphone batterry replaced there not long ago and they charged me doubled the price advertised on Apple website. I asked the person who served me why isnt it $39 as per advertised, he simply said $39 was in USD. Checked with apple store and found thay its nonsense.

If they can lie casually like that, not sure what they can do to u if u have any issues.

I will keep everyone posted on this i have been to this shop more than 20 times and last time I was there for pc service I seen a familiar site the person behind the counter was arguing with a customer that there was nothing wrong with the 3d card.
Now I was there to drop my card off after being assured that it was my problem 100 percent so they sent my old car off i purchased a new 1060 now im in the same situation for the second time with these guys
I must mention i just spent approximately 2000 on a brand new build prior to being told it was my 3d card now im told my systems faulty and im stuck with my new card that i never needed it only needed a tech to actually test said new rig be very careful with these guy's

From walking into the store to leaving with over $4000 in merchandise there is not one positive experience I had. The sales attendant had no idea what he was talking about and the art at the check out was so rude. I just can t fathom treating a customer like this and expect business. To make matters worse in the middle of the transaction the sales assistant was interrupting and serving other customers. Dumbfounded.

Purchased CyberPower UPS from Centrecom online and selected click and collect from Sunshine store after website explicitly showed in-stock. Waited five days with no email confirmation to pickup at the Sunshine store. The constant promotional spam emails kept coming but no confirmation email to pickup. I tried calling the Sunshine store numerous times of the past 5 days only receive the same automated recording and there is no option to speak to anyone to check the progress of my order. Do not waste your time with click and collect from Centrecom as their website is misleading and/or falsely shows in stock item(s) and the after sale service is non-existence. Not sure how I am going to get a refund from Centrecom. Purchased the same unit from CPL online and was able to pickup at West Melbourne branch within an hour of order.

Went to the centre-com apple service centre and all I was given was false information. I went in there for a data recovery from a dead macbook and was told if I brought a new one from apple they would wavier the $150 dollar fee regardless of the outcome. Today I went to pick it up and it was unsuccessful in recovering my data and regardless of the fact I had purchased a new macbook from apple, the worker still persisted to charge me the $150 and told me it would only be waviered if I brought it from here specifically. Moral of the story, be prepared to get lied to. If you're in need of any apple related repairs, go elsewhere.

Wife got me a monitor as a present. She ordered Friday and it arrived on Monday. Started using it and loved it. Got a call on Thursday from them saying that they sent me the wrong monitor. I asked them what do they want to do.
1.He said i should return it via aus pist. I told them im not paying for it as it was their mistake.
2. They will pay for the post but i still have to bring it there. I said that it is inconvenient to me.
3. They will use a courier to pick it up from my house but i would have to wait until they receive it before sending the replacement.
Approximately 3-5 business days.
I told them i would just drop it off and pick up my monitor even though it would cost me time and fuel.

I got to their service store, the person saw me struggling to open the door and help me. Amazing job. After doing some paperwork i was told to pickup the monitor in the parts department. Got there the person didn't even said hi or anything. He just looked at me with a blank stare. I had to tell him about my monitor. Got my monitor and left. No hi from the cashier either or even a thanks for bringing back our monitor.

I just bought upgrade parts for about 2500 and when I put it all together it turned out 16Gb of ram were faulty, I know this isn't Centrecoms fault, I took the ram back and they wanted to test it but was unable to as its DDR4 and they weren't prepared to get faulty ram in already, so they exchanged it without testing it and sure enough my new build booted up with all 32GB of ram

Despite the store being 20 minutes away from me they ve not even dispatched my order in the time the others were delivered and after reaching out to customer support they asked me to forward my payment details from PayPal which I did then didn t reply to me. I brought a Mac Book Air for them to repair some charging issues. They looked at it and said it will cast $89 Labour for repair and part free due to extended Apple care. When I returned to collect, they tried to say it was water damaged and $1200 would be the cost of repair. I said no, that s too expensive,so I want my MacBook return without repair.Then they want to charge me the labour fee of $89which I thought was wrong , I call up apple support and they agreed that centrecom sunshine store is at fault, the manager of Apple was so nice and helpful he made it that I had to pay no fee at all. The next day I got a csll from centrecom sunshine store leaving a very not happy, rude call saying I can come collect the MacBook.
When I bought it in it was in full working order except the battery didn t charge over 8 percent . After a brought it back from centrecom sunshine it was something wrong with it ,I unable to use it when I turn it on it shows a little folder with a ? Mark in the middle.So never bring your laptop to get repair there, that are not helping,rude and will make your laptop worsen then when you brought it in .Bad reviews by a lot of people around sunshine I been told after , wish someone would of told me earlier . I would give zero stars if I could. These guys are crooks. Take your Apple product elsewhere for repairs. Apple phone support actually sent me to this lot, however as an "Apple authorised repair centre", they're a joke. They refused to replace my broken iPhone camera under a genuine Apple recall notice and wanted $249 to replace it. Took it to Apple Highpoint the next day. Fixed for free under the recall notice. Even if it wasn't covered, Apple would have only charged $72 for the repair. Shop around for repairs if you don't want to get ripped.

There's a variety of electronics and accessories here - more than you'd expect to find in a humble store located in Sunshine. Usually, their prices are.. "meh".
but I do stop by during the occasional sale (when there is a significant discount - "ain't nobody got time for..." 15% off.) Or in pursuit of a deal I read online (OzBargain) being offered here.
From my last visit, I do remember the staff being quite chilled and relaxed (it wasn't a busy
day) but once I had approached them with my
queries, they switched to work mode. They were very informative and weren't obviously all about the sale; they listened to my ideas and gave feedback, including advice that meant I would not be purchasing from them that day. When they had the perfect opportunity to profit from the customer's ignorance, they instead focused on the customer's needs first.

Very poor customer service, don't think I will be coming back here after this poor service.

I had 2 items I had thought was faulty so I filed a ticket and shipped it back to the shop for them to investigate and compensate me if there were any damages or malfunctions.

The items were a power supply and a graphics card to be specific, 1 week has passed and I'm getting impatient and no response yet, i ask them, they say they're still looking... Another week pass and they finally give me a straight answer, that the graphics card is fine, so they ship it back out to my second address, as so I thought I could just redirect it to my main address, so there I did. another 3-4 days pass I'm waiting and waiting for the expected delivery date, on that day I get up and check my email and there is says that my graphics card has been delivered to the redirected address, I look around the whole premises and there's zilch, nothing at all. So I email centrecom about it and they say 'oh we've got it, let me ship it back out' and seen in the second picture they type 'street' instead of 'road' for my address and it was about to end up shipping to Queensland when I'm based in Melbourne. At this point i realised how poor their service is and when I tell them about it they briefly say 'sorry for the inconvenience'

The second part was the power supply, now this might not seem like a big thing but it was faulty and they managed to reach out and tell me to come to their store to pickup a replacement for free, everything was fine, i handed them the ticket number and waited patiently outside. A staff employee then comes outside with it and i was about to approach him to get it off his hands and he says 'Stay back stay back' in a loud assertive voice, as he said that he placed my product on the floor for me to pick up and he backs up. As of this I was wearing my face mask and fully protected.

In conclusion, Centrecom has clearly demonstrated poor customer service, nothing can change my mind about coming back to this store.

The 'Warranties and Services' counter should be more customer friendly. This is my experience few days back:
1) Person on counter didn't acknowledge our presence while we were patiently waiting (standing) there for 15 mins, while he attended to other customer.
2) While asking on how to get a warranty for faulty products (i.e. whether they need original bill or credit card used to make a purchase), he kept on repeating that 'device is not faulty' (to which I didn't disagree based on his diagnosis) , without trying to understand the question first.

Overall, I am satisfied with prompt diagnosis but the attitude of person turned me off. Management can have customer-centric employees staffed at positions with customer interfacing duties. Also, pls have some seating arrangements for elderly or people with special needs in 'Warranties and Services' area. Thanks

Bought a SSD online. The item never arrived on time and while waiting for it to arrive it went on special. Sent a complaint email. They wouldn't care to make things right. Only reply was an email to explain that they are covered under their terms and conditions (thus my problem not theirs).
My advice is, if you are going to purchase from them, spend an hour to read all the terms and conditions because they are going to hit you with that when things won't go smoothly. If you expect good customer service you won't find it here. By the way, I am still waiting (3 weeks later) for one of the managers to contact me...

To be honest i dont know why this place is 3 stars. This is only the second time i have dealt with them BUT everytime it has been easy, prompt to send the items and their prices are generally on par if not cheaper obviosuly hunt for the best price but this place is great have never had an issue and will continue to buy from them. Shame they dont have afterpay BUT that is a personal thing so i can buy more without my wife knowing! Keep up the good work! #afterpayforcomputerparts :)

Worst customer service and products ever. Brought an ASUS laptop and not even a year later the laptop died on me. Went in to get a refund (which I am entitled to one and I still have warranty ) and they are refusing. The laptop isn't even a year old. As a uni student this is very frustrating. it was over $1000, I expected it to last a little longer. The managers are rude and can't handle customers, dodgy company. Don't buy from here. If you want quality products and friendly staff buy from JB-Hi FI.

Here is my second experience with these clowns,- visited their showroom in sunshine, showed them better price with their competitor for a product, rudely refused to even match the price. No business ethics what so ever. Will avoid these people.

Recently, I made a mistake on an order for an organisational purchase which would have meant my work couldn't claim the ~$250 GST. He not only displayed good product knowledge and patience, he also took an enormous amount of time to not simple sell me appropriate items but also set them up for me. Worst thing is, I found out that my mic has been broken since, I have filed an official complain directly to apple. Centrecom may be a tad more pricey by 5 or 10 dollars on some products. But their service more than makes up for it, easy to navigate store and the staff are quite friendly and willing to help with good advice. They aren't rushed into recommending items like M.S.Y is.

However, when I handed the phone to them the screen was in perfect condition. Avoid this place and just wait for an apple store appointment. Dodgy as and takes days to get your phone back anyway!
