The quality of the houses are no longer in proportion to the price paid. Furniture kicked off and old-fashioned. Worn laminate. Clean though. Swimming facility ridiculously busy by very many guests from outside the park. For us it was once but never again.

Nice place with many options The swimming pool remains the best part of the centerparcs. Prices may be adjusted is quite pricey but you also get something for it. Enough parking space and overnight stays possibly possible. Suitable for all ages. Service could be a little better. And perhaps it is time for renewal, nothing will ever be renovated or made new. And the layout could be better.
The park is beautifully situated in the woods. Staff is friendly. You can do a lot; boredom is excluded. With good weather you will have a great time. Take your wallet with you However, the houses have expired. The curtains are sad. Are very dated! The furniture is old and old. The comforters are covered with stains. It lacks the necessary things in the house. Floor covering is up. Bathroom and toilet is on. The pillows are up. Everything is gone. And you pay serious money for it.
Cottages good, staff friendly .. DO NOT go to the all you can what, we have eaten with 14 people where 2 people sick, 3 people diarrhea and 2 people suffer from stomach complaints, this was after the first time we met group have eaten.
There is plenty to do at the park and you can also lose your emergie in the area. Apartments are fine in terms of price although the kitchen is slightly small.
Very unfriendly people. House was not clean at all. Buffet was always the same. too little vegetarian food. Fall danger everywhere very dangerous for older people. Too little terrace. There was only 1 terrace so that is far too little. Make a terrace at the Dome so that dogs can join afterwards.
We stayed in one of the older houses. Disaster ... very old and worn. There is no sink on the toilet, you have to go to the other bathroom. Terrace and paths etc. Very bad.
Playgrounds are fine.
The jungle house and the swimming pool are highly recommended.
Conclusion: Either book a new renovated house or not go there at all. There are much better parks.
We had a 6 person bungalow comfort. Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with many little things. You can tell that not much time or attention is paid to the customer here. Lots of little things are missing. No soap in the bathroom (especially in times of coronavirus, savings are being made here in the wrong corner), everything is quite old and useless. Also the area where the bungalows are is pretty dreary and not nice. A lot costs extra and the in-house supermarket has a significant surcharge compared to the normal supermarket. Very spartan decor of the bungalow. The staff is friendly and helpful.
Not so corona proof! House is not clean. Dirty floors, the garden is not accessible to the children because there are charcoal remains. The toilets and bathrooms are smelly, the high chair is under the food scraps and there is a bowl of dirty smelly water in the kitchen. Evening noise and poor Wi-Fi. If you send a letter of complaint you will get an E200 discount on a next visit ... why do you want to come again ?? Corona proof ?? No way!
It went, were often in a center park but here is the cleanliness unfortunately not capitalized. After the next morning we searched the toaster in vain, the breakfast was then also run.
Heijderbos has one of the better swimming pools in Center Parcs terms. The wildwaterbaan is long and awesome and there's a waterpiste. There's also a sports hall with tennis, ice skatng, air hockey etc.
It was our first time here in the center park. Were from January 31st to February 3rd, 2020 in a comfortable house and I NEVER have to say it was dirty, dusty, musty and the carpet was just disgusting. Also the bathroom was not clean the tiles were filthy everywhere spiders and cobwebs. Not worth 350 euros !!!! Our friends were lucky and were moved to a VIP Eden house 1 week before that was completely ok. Otherwise the bar staff in the evening was not a hit either. Our drinks were constantly forgotten ... furthermore the pizzeria Nonna is not recommended at all, almost everything didn't taste good and is completely overpriced. The only thing that was good in the 3 days was the swimming pool and the jungle dome ...
Terribly large, miles of walking. No toilets on the way. At the entrance the toilet turned into me, so I first had to enter the overflowing parking lot and drive around twice before someone told me that you could also drive on to another parking lot. Then I had to walk a horrible end to get to the house. Since I have a problem keeping my pee up and was not allowed at the entrance to the toilet, I lost my urine en route. Terribly smaller when you come in with wet clothes. Later in the supermarket I bought a hot frikandel sandwich, and I had to wait in a long line for the cash register to pay, so it had also become cold. When I asked why the cash register was closed with the hot snacks, the cashier was rather unfriendly. In short, I don't think it's a park to go again.
You shouldn't stay here overnight. Cleanliness = put 6 insufficient. Price / performance = put 6 insufficient. No trace of renovation. Everything is built like it was 30 years ago. Just pathetic
We had an 8th house with the family. The park is great. Swimming pool and Jungeldome are great. Staff friendly ... Pedaling on the lake is nice. All in all, really spent a nice time there. The only drawback are the houses ... very rocked and old. Since you can not talk more nice ... there should urgently be done something.
This Center Park does not deserve its stars! Dirty pillows, on the terrace charcoal from the previous tenant, booked services such as bed, not done .... Service squeezed only bedding in the hand ..... never again Center Park !!!!
The houses may get a makeover. They are not completely clean. Stains everywhere, cobwebs, dust nests, So upgrade the houses to a modern direction. And do not opt for floor covering.
The dishwasher and the toilet's fan aren't working, no washing machine, very limited laundry service timing, and bad customer services.
We are very disappointed from the employees' attitude, they were so rude with us.
We booked VIP cottage for one week, but we felt it like hostel rooms, no room services, no exchange for bed sheets, towels, no toilet's paper, and no cleaning for rooms.
We stayed at many centre parcs before, and we are so familiar with VIP cottages services, but this one was so different and so difficult to deal with the costumer service, everything were answered by no sorry we don't do that and we don't have this type of service here.
We hope from the higher management at this place to change the policies for better and train the employees to have good hospitality and to be nicer with customers.
Like other Center Parcs. Good atmosphere. Good entertainnent. Good environmental provisions - more than enough dirt containers at very close distance cottages. No extra charges for this in addition to the price paid. Therefore a Clean environment. Tools, necessary and no fun, such as a wheelchair, can be rented at very acceptable costs.
Very nice also for children everything suitable for children and highly recommended here there are shows that the children are allowed to visit and the whole swim in the river that goes through the park and sometimes they even come to the terrace while you sit on it you can ride climb and there is a nice indoor pool
The house is more than cleaned. It hasn't been cleaned here for months. In addition, the swimming pool can only be used once for one and a half hours and the Jungelhaus only for one hour. If we had known all of this beforehand, we would have preferred to have stayed at home with 3 children. The disappointment is very big. Actually it should be a great 60th birthday for grandma, now we are considering leaving again. Very sad, but it will probably be our last stay.
Just park with a nice plaza and very friendly staff. You can also relax in the swimming pool. With both a baby bath and a toddlers' pool for the very smallest and various fun wild water courses. However, some houses, at least from the outside, seem a bit run-down. This does not apply at all to the Eden VIP house where we are staying, this is very well maintained and is very spacious. So enjoy it.
Very nice holiday park. Lots to do for young and old. Great diversity of dining options and the swimming pool is a good place for action, adventure and to relax. Price in the supermarket is on the high side and walking distance can quite increase from the accommodation to the activity center. The Jungle Dome is a very big plus. However, the disadvantage is that the houses are outdated but there are plans to renew this.
For a short break and outside the holidays ok, nothing more. Restaurant and shopping too expensive. Swimming pool in the off-season enough space, the same applies to the Jungle Doom. Other activities only for a fee. Rooms clean but old and partly in need of renovation. You simply expect more behind this provider. Pity
Nice park located in a beautiful forest. We had a VIP house, definitely worth the extra money! Houses are dated here and there but still very neat and cozy.
Like all CenterParcs set, the place is beautiful. The park is clean and spacious. Because of corona restrictions, most of its iconic attractions were closed like AquaMundo. But even then, there was enough crowd, people cycled, walked, just played. It was good. About the cottage: we had a VIP cottage for 4. I had read reviews that the cottage was dirty and old. Well, it is a bit old but certainly not dirty. It was clean. Just well-worn out. So many people stay and not everyone treats the place equal.. what do you expect!! For us, it was clean, the utensils good, peaceful time we had.
Unfortunately not what we are really used to from center parcs. Upon arrival, not everything in the cottage that was ordered. After being in the house for half an afternoon he had black feet and lots of cobwebs in the house. Unfortunately they were also cleaning up everything at the snack bar at 7:00 pm and preparing for the closure. You had to pay close attention to your order. It is a pity that when advertising is made for things to be added that you have to ask for it yourself. Now we do not want to come across as nagging but we do not find this park highly recommended. Most of the staff is super! But the bad apples here are really ruining it. The way they communicate is not always useful.
Park itself nicely laid out and lots of nature. With regard to houses, I agree with previous reviews; it costs a lot of money for dingy houses. Does not feel clean, spiders can be found, shelves that sag, curtains that just do not close ..... It must be clearly as cheap as possible while a lot of money is being asked. Also very incomplete for the price in terms of inventory. Very minimalist which feels somewhat customer-friendly to me (as an example, nothing about cushions for outside). Clear to be able to earn as much as possible from guests with as little comfort as possible. No fancy approach in my opinion! And what strikes me in the responses from management; thanking for the feedback, saying that it is not the intention while nothing has changed ..... Close with a kind of advertisement for the park. Come on management; how transparent. Give the people value for money. Outside of this the park itself is fun for the kids.
It's very nice. Corona hampers a little. Only 2 x 1.5 h swimming pool per stay. But overall, the park has that well under control. Unfortunately, even the newly built houses are pretty shabby. Good equipment but lots of small defects, wear and tear, etc. Therefore only 4 stars.
Beautiful park with lots of activities to do. Thick tip; book a breakfast in the jungle! You can then eat in before opening time so you can see all the birds, squirrels and parrots before the jungle is flooded with screaming climbing monkeys!
After the holiday you get the opportunity to give feedback. So I went through 52! Questions worked out, in the end then to learn that my answers do not meet the specifications and all the feedback can not be saved and sent
4 days in a non-clean cottage, with completely smudged windows, mattresses, you better not look closer, dirty carpets, a tub that you have to use as a shower, but you can not get in and completely concealed chairs, loungers and Outdoor tables. The breakfast is modest and Whit even poorer, as it lacked staff. All in all not recommended and a repeat is out of the question. The 4 days are worth at most 1 star.
Super maintained accomonties from the cottages to the toilet and showers but swimming pool is also super large slide, family slide and a wild water slide. Furthermore, a wave pool. For the little ones there are 2 pools with a slide track and play equipment.
We said for ourselves ... we do not want to go back here. We booked a towel and bed linen package and unfortunately we did not have anything in our house ... which smelled of wet dog and mold. The reception was very rude. The staff at the entrance, however, friendly and accommodating. Later in the evening 2 nice ladies came and got us the beds and brought towels. Then our kids could finally shower and go to bed. It was already ten o'clock in the evening. On the whole we liked the jungle and the kids enjoyed the fun pool ... a few more loungers in the outdoor area would be great. The animal enclosures were also very well maintained and the animals had space and fresh water. But in a center park we will probably not go back vacation. But the price-performance ratio is not right.
Restaurant Fuego makes a distinction between 2 and 6 people (discrimination? Or money?). We had reserved a place a day in advance with the special request to sit afterwards preferably with a view of the swimming pool. We heard that this was not possible when we got there (fifteen minutes early but better too early than a no show) But then we were told that if you only come with 2 people you have little chance of finding a place that you like want. I am so that I want to turn around right away, certainly because the young lady, maybe just 17 years old (trainee?), Also said this with a grimace that did not show me my nicest side. Anyway my wife was a bit milder and we were asked than we had thought. Right next to the entrance, exactly where we didn't want to sit, in the walkway. Centerparcs and Fuego a missed opportunity !! Gennip had a super Brasserie!
It is a beautiful wooded park. We have a 4 pers. Cottage. This is cosily furnished and equipped with every luxury. The center is in the middle of the park, so you don't have to walk far. In the center you have all kinds of facilities to entertain the children and to sit comfortably.
Cons: there is a dirty rust spot in the bathtub. The shower is in the bath with an adhesive shower curtain. The whole floor in the cabin is a bit sticky. There is a grate in the floor which is not useful with small children because they throw everything in. There is (too) little cutlery. House is due for renewal. The coffee in the jungle dome is expensive and not that delicious. The action factory was really, really dirty! They are allowed to mop there sometimes.
Pros: Friendly staff, jungle dome in itself is very nice. The park is very beautiful with many animals. The couch in the house had thick cushions that is nice. If you bring a lock, you can secure your pram at aquamundo. The surroundings are beautiful. Nice villages in the area and not too far from the beautiful Nijmegen.
We slept in the jungle lodges. There were the animal sounds from the speakers very annoying. The humidity in the bedrooms was so high that there was mold on the walls. In addition, you do not have your own bathroom and every time you walk through the hall. Once and never again because of the mold.
