Mold in the room, everything dirty and we are home with a food poisoning. My baby is in the hospital, the last one !!!!

I was here several years ago and I have to say that unfortunately not much has changed in the holiday home. Had a "better" children's bungalow, from which we would have expected, for example. B. the bathroom is great (no mold stains, clean joints, tub without chipped areas) Unfortunately, the bungalow smelled musty. That was the biggest downer and something spoiled the mood.
All employees were super nice and especially for the junior (3) the holiday was totally successful. It's a shame: even trampoline jumping costs, as well as the children's cars, etc. We like to indulge ourselves ... but if we are asked to pay extra for EVERYTHING that goes beyond the children's show / disco, we think it's a tick too much.

Very nice but bunk beds are not handy for large people plus it is in a small room that makes you a little claustrophobic

stayed at the park last week. Staff is quite friendly. beds are good. And the pool is perfect. just 3 stars for that.
Unfortunately, there are also many areas for improvement. It is a car-free park, but more cars are used than in a normal park. People drive quite fast, Despite the bad road surface (with holes in it). Provide more speed bumps and make it clear what the speed limit is. This way, children can safely walk around the park. Maintenance of the greenery also does not take care of many weeds and no neat terraces at the houses.
The houses are okay, but can be updated to 2020.
In addition, a lot of information was missing. I had to figure out where to go when I entered. I just got the envelope in my hands. Also activities etc. You must find out for yourself where and when it is. If there is no time at check-in, please send the information in advance. Then the app can already be downloaded, you do not have to find out on the last day.
Conclusion Park is past glory, price / quality is not in balance, and I have lost an illusion.

Nice park, neat houses. There is plenty, but of course you can't do everything now.

We had a lot of fun as a family with 5 children. Lots of activities for the kids. The house was very nice and clean.
Gladly again next year.

The stay was very pleasant and the swimming pool is great. Only the comfort house seemed a bit worn. We will definitely be back.

Everything I mention in advance are not negatives, but points for improvement.
We stayed in the park for a total of 6 days and it is mainly about the first impressions. We think it's a shame that the cottages look so bad. We found the floor in the living room not exactly clean, so we used a wet white towel. The result after a few visits? A brown towel.
When I look at certain trash cans, so are barely emptied, the result: A trash can that smells and overflows. In terms of waste collection, we are used to separating organic waste and plastic, which is not possible in this park.
Of course there are many points I can talk about, but for the first impression we were not so pleased. After a few days we realized that the area is nice. Lots of greenery, everything is well looked after. A walk through the park is fine for an hour. There are plenty of activities. Jump a trampoline, rent boats and climb in the forest (costs extra money).

In the years and unfortunately little for small children.

We were in the cabanas in the Jungledome. The room has only a bed and a chair and is very bare. We found beds too hard. The mosquito net is very nice. There is a shower room with toilet used by all cabana users. This is fine, but bring slippers for when you have to go to the toilet at night. The BBQ is a must and is very good. There is plenty of food and people who eat vegetarian are taken into account. Breakfast is also more than adequate. Many people in the jungle dome are unfortunately unfamiliar with animals and throw plastic and other rubbish on the ground.
Tip for the park not to serve food, drinks and ice cream in the jungle dome that is wrapped in plastic.

The Fries Snacks had given us an incomplete order and it was cold. The park itself is very beautiful. Our house was very clean and it smelled so too. I really enjoyed it and had a great holiday.

Again and again nice to come ... have been at least 15x (including day trip) with the whole family here.

The entire complex is in serious need of a major renovation.

Nice park only the weather was less
They are busy renovating the park, so many craftsmen at work, just a pity that the park does not report that those men are working on our house in the morning on the roof

Super park for the whole family. Even in the rain is much to discover. The houses are a bit getting old but are absolutely sufficient. The restaurants are quite expensive, but we just cooked every day. The slides are all pretty fast, you have to like that. They were too fast for our son.
You have to highlight the coral bath. A snorkel corners with incorporated aquarium. A great thing.
We will definitely be back.

You het what you pay for, not much luxery bit a great location. Service is great as is the swimming pool.

Too expensive for too little offered.

This Centerparc is the worst we have ever been. And we have been in 8 others. Nowhere was it pointed out that renovations are taking place in the aqua Mundo and therefore half of it is not walkable. The wave pool is covered with rust spots on the ground. In addition, the changing rooms are partly broken or dirty and at the entrance to the aqua Mundo cockroaches run over the floor.

The apartment was not really clean and for 2 people in my opinion too small. There were crumbs on the carpet. Under the table in the living area is a thick layer of dust and the windows are covered with hand prints. In the outdoor area a garden chair was broken and a couch could not be adjusted.
The way to the cottage was not paved and you have to lug the luggage first 100m.

At the reception we were dismissed with our complaint with the note an email to the customer service to write what we did. Answer is still expected.

Honestly, Centerparcs impresses me with what they do for their guests. Ok partly at exorbitant prices but that is not different in other holiday areas.
But this park in Het Heijderbos is really not recommended in my opinion.

Nice house, but the shoe soles are worn. We were apparently at the back of the park and the car was more than a kilometer further in the mandatory parking lot ....

Pretty nice park. Jungle Dome and the pool are nice. The Market place is also okay. Furthermore, the mini golf and so on less fun. The entire hall was not really attractive. In terms of food enough occasions, but the all you can eat was disappointing. Especially for children little choice! That was a waste of money!

House was totally old, musty and dirty. Park is totally neglected. Never again...

Beautiful Anlage.Durchweg friendly and helpful staff. We had an Eden Vip bungalow. Everything was very clean and well maintained. Great offer for young and old. The Aqua Mundo was also great, but you could grow something for adults here. A slide and the white water channel were a bit meager. Otherwise highly recommended.

We were in September 2017 in the park. It was a pleasant stay. Our house was ok, not properly wiped and the windows not really clean, but otherwise ok. We did not have an oven, but that was ok for the week. It could be painted over it. The staff is great and takes care of all matters. The swimming pool was unfortunately always relatively full and clean. It is, like the Doom also included in the price. The children's fun is ok, but at the beginning I had expected to have a "kindergarten". Unfortunately, there were only various offers on some days, which also cost money. Our big 4 years, but it was fun. On the whole our stay in our comfort house was ok. The playground is ok, both indoors and out. Unfortunately, I can not comment on the environment, because we spent the week in the park.

Swam here as a child and now swam here with my children. Swimming pool has not changed. The whitewater course remains fun.

At the beginning of January 2019 I spent a weekend in this park. The houses look like that my grandmother's grandmother was still here and nothing has been done about it after completion. It is urgent time for renovation because they charge the main prize for these outrageously poorly maintained houses. A nice swimming pool, but I think that too many people are admitted. I also think it is a shame that really everything has to be paid for separately and the prices here are not wrong. Would also be nice if the park guests can park their car at the front instead of the day guests because it is quite a walk especially for older people or people with mobility problems. I also think that everything closes very early throughout the park. Is even more than enough to improve for center parcs if you want to be able to ask these types of rates to people. Furthermore, had a nice weekend.

The cottage was modern and large, including a sauna and hot tub. There were a lot of indoor activities such as mini golf and escape room and large playground. The pool was wonderfully large and the staff everywhere were exceptionally friendly!

Delightful place.
We have a VIP house and everything looks neat except for some pans.
The roads are easily accessible, but wet due to the rain so there is a risk of slipping. Of course you can't do anything about it

A bit outdated center parcs.
Eden Haus am See (612): beautiful view through large windows. Lots of light. Spacious with a proper wardrobe and 3 bathrooms.
Great dsungeldoom with suspension bridges.
Aqua Mundo only one slide and one white water channel.

The park dates back to the 80s. That's what it looks like here. The houses are therefore very dark in the forest. We had booked a premium house in last minute for 450 over a WEEKEND. The place was clean but musty and worn. The prices in the park are compared to other CP even more expensive. Attention, never buy the Schnitzel in Fuego !!! Vorgebraten and then drowned again in the fat - very bad for 17,95 . I can not really recommend this park Price / performance is not right here. Only the Jungle Dome is great and a great experience for the kids

The park itself is beautifully designed, tidy and clean. The little houses on the other hand, at least ours, are getting very old. Be it the inventory or the technology. Not all that fresh anymore.

The described hair dryer was missing completely.

In my opinion, dust has never been wiped.

All in all, I say, Park yes! Lodge next time two categories higher.

And nice center parcs, the whitewater course is nicely divided into stages, so that you can also choose to just take a bit calmer. For the rest, the pool is no different than you expect from center parcs. I liked Vossemeren better

With two small children who love to swim it is the perfect holiday for us!

The good thing is that you feel transported back to your youth. It's still like 20 years ago. Even the pillows on the couch seem to be the same. Not to mention bathroom, kitchen equipment and tiles. Even otherwise, everything seems run-down and worn. Nevertheless, the kids enjoyed it, because the staff was friendly and really nice with the kids. Even the initially grouchige submersion teacher proved to be a really nice guy. But you can see that here as in Germany, you are not immune to the fact that incompetent management, which is probably only on bonuses, can do a good thing against the wall. The desire to squeeze out the last, then shows up at the prices in the store or in the restaurants. A pity - that was the last time Center Parc

I've been here three times now with my girlfriend. Not for the bungalows but for the jungledome and the aqua mundo swimming pool.
The swimming pool is simply great, cool white water course and nice sauna if you are willing to pay extra.
Here also immediately the problem. Everything in centerparcs is of course about money. It's all well and good if you reach deep into your pockets for the things they offer.
But for the price we pay 5 euros parking fee. 20 euros pp swimming with sauna. And after swimming 25 euros for an hour.
I personally think all these prices are quite high. But you don't hear me complain about that.
The staff on the other hand. When we arrived in the car, we were received almost hostile. They asked in a nasty tone what we were doing and told us the reception was closed so we had to arrange everything from the car with the security guard. Our happy mood was immediately damaged. Ahja on to the pool and the fun started again. Then we are the real late stays. Swim until the pool really closes. So we leave at 9:00 PM, which results in a nice empty pool where we can go completely free in the last 20 minutes.
Nice you would think. Except that every minute we swam, one of the lifeguards' eyes were on you. Which can be very disturbing if you just want to play. And the worst was in the outdoor bath. I was lying in the bubble baths together with my girlfriend, chatting about quite personal and serious things. And before we knew it, a lifeguard came up 2 meters from us in both our field of vision. I am a young man of 21 and I can swim like an animal. But nothing can happen to anyone in a hot tub.
I simply didn't feel welcome and we felt watched.

After swimming we wanted to go bowling and we did. We paid, the man showed us the job and let us figure it out. A nice computer screen that took us another 10 minutes before we could bowl with scores.
Drink is a fairly normal catering price. But eat poohpooh. 5.50 for a small plate with exactly 8 inimini pickles, 6 cubes of cheese and 8 slices of sausage. In my opinion a very tragic intention and a deprecated feeling.
Its a shame, but there is nothing to do about it. Luckily we were able to make it a good day for me and my girlfriend. But go there again. Maybe someday for the whitewater course. Only 12 euros for that with a watch from lifeguards. Didn't see me

All in all very nice. You can see the houses their age, it is not a 5 star hotel, but well maintained and cleaned. It is very quiet in the park. Had the pleasure in the morning to be able to raise the curtains and to be able to look in the forest from the bed. The Aquamundo and the Dungeldom offer 2 extraordinary highlights. Also had a pretty good price for 2 people.

Nice park, Jungle dome nicely made. Plenty to do in the area. Houses are outdated. Cottages located in the woods and surrounded by forest.

Nice park, good pool good food. There is something for everyone. Even for the very little ones.

First you have to say that the two of us went on vacation without children. However, I do not include that in the rating, because the crux of the center park is more in the details.

The arrival and departure without a car is absolutely disastrous. The train ends in Boxmeer, from there you can choose between a taxi for just under 30 euros and a one-hour walk with luggage.
There is also a bus, but it only runs every hour and with two changes the journey takes a good two hours, because the buses are so clocked that you always just miss the connection.

The park itself is getting old, but not shabby. The rooms are quiet in the 70s with sagging mattresses, no view and cardboard walls through which you can hear the neighbors talking.

The range of leisure activities is plentiful, but all activities have to be paid for separately, so you should look in advance what you want to do in order to keep an eye on costs.

There is a supermarket in the park with a good range of products, but the prices are quite high.

The staff speaks almost no German, we had to communicate with hands, feet and the little English that was understood.

A plus point is the breakfast. Very good selection of muesli, cold cuts, bread, juices and everything your heart and stomach desires in the morning.

The Fuego Adventure Grill is available for culinary enjoyment. As with everything in the park, you can get it right again, I paid 65 euros for two people. Waiting time for the food: over an hour, the shop wasn't even full. In terms of taste okay but not outstanding.
Some menus have the "Smart" option, which ultimately means that you take a small portion when you know you're eating little but still paying the same.

All in all, an absolutely average experience, heavily marred by the lousy logistics.

Unfortunately, the reality is different, and a large part of the bungalows and the park are very outdated, and also poorly cleaned. A pity, because the location is perfect. Swimming pool is smaller than at other Center Parcs locations, but plenty of variety and a fun whitewater course.
Restaurants and entertainment are good, same as anywhere else.

What a beautiful park. I recommend visiting the park in spring or summer, as the animal world is activated there and, for example, have squirrels in front of the bungalow. What can create a unique experience. The bungalows themselves are nice, but like in many center parcs, the bungalows look old. The same curtains in every bungalow and otherwise, the bungalows look 1 to 1 the same. What is bad is. The inventory changes, of course, depending on which bungalow is rented. Comfort, VIP etc. The Jungle Dome is the highlight in my opinion, lots of animals, monkey heat and there is also a place to stay for the wild. The Aqua Mundo should not be underestimated either. The coral bath has a small but fine selection of animals that everyone can observe. Diving goggles are an advantage. The slides and the white water rink are great and a lot of fun.

First impression was okay. Houses are a bit outdated. Downside there were no fly windows so if you want to open the window with the hot days you are guaranteed to have mosquitoes inside. The pool was nice, clean. You had the choice to swim outside warmly and to swim coolly inside the slides were nice and nice and fast the hot whirlpool was great. The pool was really enjoying. The market dome was very expensive for a store. Yes it is better to go shopping outside the park.
It was nice to stay in this holiday park but the cleanliness could be better.

Super nice Center Parcs, we liked it so much, were there twice within a month.

We are here for the first time and also for the last time. The park is very beautiful, there is a lot to do ... when the sun is shining. That would be the pro.
Now for the cons:
The food is very expensive inside the park. I paid 65 euros for one adult and three children at the Italian restaurant.
Everything wide, whether trampoline, carousel, pedal boat, no matter what, costs extra.
The house: Our house is in the forest, so the weathering can be traced from the outside.
A forest cannot be imagined without vermin.
The house is old and shows signs of wear and tear, okay too. Otherwise it is unbearably dirty, dirty and actually an impertinence. We can take it for our children. We cannot move around the house without shoes. Anyone who has problems with spiders, flies, moths and other crawfish should consider a stay.
We won't be back. We discussed why the operator is letting the houses deteriorate and not investing anything in maintenance. We have come to the conclusion that he doesn't have to change anything about it. The park is full, there will be many visitors in the future who only come once and then not again ... because of this, it is full.

Pretty obsolete dogs are not allowed in almost everywhere else

Definitely needs a makeover but that is coming I heard. Furthermore, a very nice park! With a nice swimming pool!

Staff are nice and always want to help. Checking in and out was really smooth too. Everything within reach for a little more price than outside the park. However, I personally think the prices for activities are very high. Bingo 12.50 per card ... 7.50 was already enough. Evening meal 17.80 ... 12 euros for crisps and fries is more than enough.

Furthermore, I didn't think the cabin was really clean. I catch myself saying with it is center parcs you know when you go here it is less clean and quaint. Actually, that's not okay and it should just be really clean. And some newer furniture could well be. Especially with the prices that are asked. A curtain that is not the color nicotine yellow.

Despite my few minor complaints, Veder's stay was very pleasant. I am glad we used a discount coupon because I am honest that I think the official 400 euros for a midweek that you hand in for 2 days because you are only allowed in at 3 PM and have to fuck off at 10 AM too much. (You can stay there but with a dog that is not an option)

I hope that something can be done with me and that center parcs will do something with it.

Upon arrival at our house it seemed as if it had not been cleaned. Dead bugs on the wall, bold prints on the floor and table, crockery not washed off and black hair on the beds. After the indication, cleaning was done again. At the time, only the floor / table was cleaned and the dead fly on the wall was half removed. Nothing else cleaned. Spider webs hang above your bed together with a thick layer of dust. We had to do extra cleaning ourselves because otherwise it would not be possible to live in it. If it had given birth we would have booked more often, but this does not look like this ...

A first experience in a Center Parcs ... and it will be the last. One star for the quality of the mattress ... Ah yes it was a surprise for the children .... and well what a surprise !! A swimming pool not accessible .... 1 session of 1h30 .... for 5 days of rental ... Due to Covid? Ok ... but strangely enough, the parking lot is full and the occupancy of the park too. Restricting the number of rentals to allow normal use of the Aqua Mundo would have been a more honest solution because of course the access restriction is mentioned but in the same way ... on the 87th page . In short .... a great scam ... here is the first day passed .... good news we are leaving in 4 days !! I hope that this advice will allow you to avoid a terrible disillusionment ..... Had a nice midweek in the Heijderbos / Centerparcs. In a hotel apartment incl. Breakfast. Apartment somewhat dated, spacious and doable. Located at the market dome and swimming pool.

Friendly staff, good tropical bath, great jungle adventure playground!

A very nice park. Unfortunately, there are still many residential accommodations that are getting old.
The Aqua Mundo is quite small. There is no real outdoor area (pool). The wild water train is in the end only for those people who can stand well, so are big enough and can swim well.
The sauna area is very small, but virtually no one on site.

It sounds banal, but this CenterParc has the best free internet of any park I've ever been to.

Little old glory. Dated cottages. Swimming pool is okay. Not bowling alley.

About Center Parcs Heijderbos:
We really enjoyed our stay. Really in the middle of nature. We have had several squirrels, rabbits and nice birds at the door. I slept very well, the beds slept wonderfully!
I find the site and the app of center parcs itself far too unclear. The 25 euro welcome discount also only worked for early booking. It was also not entirely clear what was and was not included.
In the cottage I only found out after half a day that we also had a trash can. The combi microwave was also relatively complicated and a description would have been welcome. The colander we had was very large. Good for draining potatoes, but rice just went through. The handle of our saucepan was also completely loose. I did not dare to take this one by the handle because it would fall off.
The front door didn't close perfectly either. When it was closed and locked, there was still a whole crack in between. And that is certainly important at night. It was always very cold at night, even with the thick blanket we had.
In 5 days we put on the dishwasher on the last evening. In the morning I wanted to clear it out, but with the dishwasher tablets supplied, the dishes were not completely clean. We had to be out of the cottage for 10 hours, so there was hardly any time to clean it completely. I haven't bothered to do that either, sorry about that. In my opinion, 12pm seems like a great time to check out.
Staff was very friendly, parking was well organized. Although there were a number of dangerous holes in the parking lot, there was plenty of space.
Everything is also well organized with the corona measures.
You can walk beautifully through the park during the day and in the evening!
Channels on TV are fine and sufficient.

It was very cozy only the cottages are due for renewal

Nice, but the prices don't make sense anymore. 1 day from 1300 to 1930 hours with our 2 children on the road: swimming pool, playground and a moderate buffet = 190! We could have gone to Efteling before.

The attractions are very suitable for children. We particularly liked the whitewater course in the Aqua Mondo. The jungle was also a special experience. The supermarket is a bit expensive, but okay. We can highly recommend the snack bar, especially the Twister fries .The bungalows are small and cozy, but very simply equipped. Our bungalow was clean and not dirty. Unfortunately, some attractions are closed in winter. The petting zoo is highly recommended for young and old.
All in all, the center parc is a great experience!

We are already 5x from Cologne just come to visit. The lake is fantastic in bad weather, the breakfast buffet was delicious and all staff friendly ... gladly always again

Houses very outdated and NOT clean. Price therefore too expensive. If not like going there with older people bathroom is awful.

Nice to be completely gone and not thinking about anything. A pity about all the limitations of Covid-19.

The cottage was very dated. Not only old but also really dirty. (Think of feaces on the toilet seat and toilet wall, if you went through the bath with a cleaning cloth, the cloth was yellow.) So not cleaned. Fortunately, I always bring my own cleaning supplies, but you still expect a reasonably clean house without poo from the previous tenants on the wall.
Furthermore, the park was great fun and the kids enjoyed themselves!

Path lighting could be better. Whitewater course was a bit too 'wild'. Friendly staff.

Have spent a long weekend in a VIP house with the family.
The houses were shabby, dirty and outrageously priced. We will not visit another park.

Cottage was just rancid. Cobwebs, dust .. Dirty, sticky .. food scraps. Notification made at the reception, only the bank is cleaned .. Bah

In Corona times, many things can only be used to a limited extent or not at all. But Center Parcs is still relaxing - the system is just right. Don't miss De Maasduinen National Park!

The apartments were great, everything available. Did you feel like eating in the center, hardly possible without reservation.
