Nice Aquadome, fairly wild water course. The children thought it was crazy. The jungle dome itself was nicely dressed, but we didn't like it that much. We have not been outside the park, but there didn't seem to be much to us. The prices of the activities are sometimes hairy, so I only give 3 stars.
Nice park, good for relaxing with the whole family. Plenty to do, very nice subtropical swimming paradise. House was fine, may get an update and could have liked something cleaner. Operation in the bar / restaurants could be a bit smoother. Overall doable but few points.
Very nice! Activities suit large children. It is difficult to adjust for 3 years of age.

Just returned from a mid week at centerparcs Heijerbos in Limburg. (17 to 21 September)
I was there with my boyfriend and we had cottage number 119. Very customer friendly and a huge beautiful park. Nice and quiet, good place to relax
Cottage small, 2 burners for cooking. 2 pans at the same time and that will not work because you have to hold 1 pan otherwise it will fall off the gas stove.
Furthermore, it has not been properly cleaned by the previous guests + cleaners. A lot of spider rags and spider webs. In the microwave there were remnants of macaroni that did not look fresh. I do not understand that people do not clean it up properly .. The cutlery / pans / glasses did NOT look like that. We have mostly washed everything so that we could use CLEAN stuff.
Eating out there is very good!
They are again very customer friendly, would often do it again.
They get a big 9 from us! If the cleaning is done well by the cleaning ladies, t becomes a 10! And if the guests also leave everything tidy, then it is completely great.
Sometimes very long footpaths because of the car-free park, exhausting with wheelchairs
A nice, nice park .... Houses a little outdated but still comfortable and lots of space .... Very friendly and helpful staff .... There are plenty of leisure options .... one negative point is the cleanliness leaves a lot to be desired

Beautiful Car Free Park, Unfortunately the adventure golf course was not finished yet. The diving course is recommended. AquaMundo is great too. The wild water slide is one of the fast and funny side. The Comfort houses deserve a renovation (all stale) But completely clean. Come again

We were in Het Heijderbos from 07/27/30/07 with two children (3 and 6). After reading all the negative reviews regarding the prices and the "run down" condition of the park and the houses, we left with a somewhat queasy feeling in our stomach. But as soon as we arrived at the park, all of our doubts vanished into thin air. So I don't know where the people with the bad reviews went on vacation, but definitely not here. The park is great, there is a lot on offer for young and old and the houses (we had VIP Original, 107) are great. The staff is very helpful and friendly, so definitely worth the trip.
The only point of criticism is the missing fly screens, because they would have been really necessary.
We thank Het Heijderbos for a great short vacation and have already booked for next year
A nice park. Very large but we were quiet in a Comfort cottage. This was neat clean and spacious. There was a lot to do for the children, but always for a fee. The market and jungle dome offer a lot of entertainment and the swimming pool is also a nice place to be, although it is soon very busy. Villages in the area are easy to cycle to.
Market dome is on the small and tight side.
Swimming pool is very nicely decorated and fun theme. Jungle dome is just too cool, unfortunately this is and feels very loose from the rest of the park. Parking is hell! This is due to the wrong layout of the parking area (lengthwise and therefore far).
Eating occasions are very "center parcs", nicely dressed, quality food ok (nothing special) price high, reservation required. (So eating outside the park is recommended despite having lost your one parking spot)
We were in the cold months, very good and fun. Summer seems even more fun by the lake with plenty of activities around it.
Chewing gum sticks to the floor. Dirt everywhere, paint is peeling off the ceiling. Every prisoner has a nicer cell like what they call bungalows here. Rusted pipes, no hot water, mold in the bathtub. Had ordered food for a 60th birthday, which was not there. Mattresses are so worn out that you had to sleep on a rattan couch in the living room. Will leave tomorrow after just one night.

We were satisfied so far! Park is clean and everything is easily accessible! Our house was great too! The Italian should pay you compensation for the worst pizza ever, prices also horror! Swimming pool: ok for children, not at all for us. Also doesn't get a second chance with me. Why do (almost only Dutch) cars stay in the park? Son with bike almost on it after a curve .. If everyone does it like that soon, then good night ..

Due to Corona only 30% occupied. Plus a great last minute price ... and that during the main season.
Weekend with whole family in 3 linked houses. (Comfort) Honest is fair .... The cleaning could certainly be better and the interior is totally worn out and out of this time .... But with 2 packages of all-purpose cleaner and an automatic air freshener from the Kruidvat it is easy to do! Everything worked properly. And slept wonderfully. It is best to understand that you do not want to clean for an hour first, but a wipe over the tables, door handles and toilet is also ready in no time. Do your own at home every day. Do not understand that there are no thermostats with a motion sensor, for example. The heating can be set to 21 all day long while everyone floats in the pool. With the insulation of these houses a gas has to go through which makes Slochteren shake .... The lighting on the park outside is simply bad and various street lighting did not work or is full of vermin, so that almost no light emits from it. The infrastructure also needs an upgrade so that you regularly have to get off the road with the kids because the park is "car-free" but everyone with those golf carts drives you out of their pants. The Jungle the pool and the market dome are really great and the whole stay is also worth repeating! The kids 2, 6 and 11 enjoy to the fullest.

we had a wonderful time last year in a centerparc in Belgium, so the kids were eager to go this summer. I chose this one because of its five star and location. The cookery is too old fashioned. The big slide in the swimming pool is really scary. My son, who was seven and had B diploma, cant come up because the water power at the end of the slide. Luckily my husband was with him. My daughter, who loves slides the most, dare not slide! she is 11! They both played in the swimming pool one time. The design is too wild! Besides, the lake is too small.
Bungalows are very old and in need of renovation. Breakfast buffet was very good although we were skeptical at first.

I was disgraced to words. House was neat. We had a VIP cabin. But the rules for the pool you stand in line for half an hour then you only have an hour to swim. Restaurant really dirty. Tables stick on all sides. Are not even a cloth over it. Bah!! You have to fill in your details up to three times in advance, they just leave your details on the table! While other guests can sit on your spot and view your data. three times we said so but they don't care
ball what happened to your privacy! Centerparcs shame on you !!!!!! I think it paid dearly for what you get now.
I will recommend to everyone not to book as long as there is corona time !!!

Nice park, especially for families with children. The apartment was clean, but already worn. The offered breakfast is great, large selection, much is freshly prepared, very friendly staff.
after a long time Center pro. It was not so good. We had a 2 person house, this house was really bad today even one day earlier left. It was dirty mattresses were through us hurt everything. Lamps broken or no bulbs in there. We had booked this parc because of the coral bath but was too. It is a pity that it was a birthday present for my wife .. a reinfall.Geplant was that we wanted to make another Parc in April. But I think we will let that be. Paid a lot of money and home even earlier .. the houses are through.
Very unfortunate that the house in which we were in needed renovation, as the other houses around us were being renovated, the beds, the sofa and the beach chairs were also in need of replacement. And unfortunately all catering establishments were closed after 10 p.m. on Wednesday, which meant we had to change our program.

The cottage was not clean have had compensation, but found it old-fashioned and expensive, compared to other parks that are modern and or all-inclusive price.
Although the cottages are getting old and need renovation urgently. e.g.
Mattresses need to be replaced urgently as they are so soft that it is impossible to sleep well also the cleaning after the last guests could be neater, so that you do not have to rinse and vacuum everything when you move in. DasNow the positive: Staff all very accommodating and always a smile. The Aqua Mundo and he Jungel Dome bring a lot of fun for young and old and young and old !! and also your four-legged friends may and are happy to do it for me there is again * **** stars extra. Even a star is still too much for this park .... !!!! Service is written very small and everything costs extra, even the trampoline jump for the kids! For the bungalow we have already spent a lot of money for VIP, it was not even a grill on site. We had to buy this ourselves. The floor stank and the walls in the sleeping area were damp. The park is totally overpriced and understaffed. My cousin had booked the bungalow comfort, you can not speak of it. The food there every night and morning was so monotonous that it hung on your neck and did not taste good. Halpansion booked and drinks you had to pay yourself. We dropped a glass in the evening and it was only a hand broom pressed into our hands with annoyed eyes !!! The sheer weeds hardly see the bungalows and the show's have been repeated around the clock ...... NEVER AGAIN CENTERPARK that was the worst, most expensive holiday and worst service we have ever experienced. I advise everyone from it. A lot of money for nothing unfortunately .... Very disappointed ..... And I would certainly think of more to the park but I think that's enough ...... !!!
I've only beem to a couple of Centre Parcs, but they've both been really good. This place was excellent.
We went with a huge group of around 70 people and it's big enough to barely notice. Excellent facilities, lovely pool (not sure about the crazy paving around, seems like a potential danger) with a very powerful rapids. Urge caution if your kids are under 11/12.
The Jungle Dome was great and all the normal things were available, bike, climbing, high ropes, nice food etc.
A time slot for swimming of one and a half hours and having been able to swim for only an hour up to 2x is below average ... For the rest fine stay.
A beautiful park well integrated into nature with a great dog paradise. The activities offered there are great and multi-layered only really quickly booked out! The cleanliness was unfortunately a real drawback ... our house was not really cleaned, everything was more with a room spray freshly made .... The house was functional, not really modern. The swimming pool offers something for everyone. The staff was super friendly and tried very hard.
Very nice pool, but only way too pricey! Costs 19.95 on Sunday! Parking also costs 5, - and the food and drinks are also quite pricey. Lockers are free again.

Unfortunately there are lots of cars parked and speeding IN the parc on the weekend and people ignoring the friendly "reminder". The authority shall be more strict and fine the people.
We had a wonderful time with our whole family in a 2 to 1 connected VIP homes with the partition wall pushed away and we had a wonderfully spacious and clean holiday home.

Park is beautiful. House was very disappointing. Not clean. No oven, just an old-fashioned microwave. Saggy bed. All ancillary activities expensive or were fully booked. Draft under the windows. Dishwasher drawer broken. No serving dishes. Does not smell fresh. Only 1 toilet for 6 people. Shower in the bath. Bath is damaged. Toilet wobbles. price / quality ratio below par.
Totally awesome. Nice with 2 people in a hotel apartment. Eating out and plenty to do. Fuego is a must to eat in the evening :)
Just a bit of a pity that the apartment was not cleaned properly. There was an old dirty custard cake just below the sofa. And it is dusty.
Had a great weekend but the pool was very bad against very old. Many things on the expensive side.
Despite the renovation during the Covid, plenty to do, beautiful houses, lots of place to play for the children. recommended

Park was neat. Little waste on the terrain. VIP Cottage was neat on the sauna and terrace after that were just nasty .. That's a shame because I have great fun for the rest .. Still had a good time .. Can be improved. Small error in the wifi connection. However, this is resolved by the park in 48 hours .. Therefore 2 stars ..

A not too large park, but compared to other center parks z.b a jungle cathedral - great for children from about 3 years.
One of the large parks of the Center Parcs group. A park with a large and beautiful Aqua Mundo, a number of restaurants and a grand cafe. Additional facilities such as bowling, jungle dome and action factory. The cottages are fully equipped depending on the type.
Nice location, but a pity with the limited possibilities regarding corona restrictions.
Even one star is still too much for this park .... !!!! Service is written very small there and everything costs extra, even jumping on the trampoline for the children! A lot of money was spent on the bungalow. Inventory totally out of date and run down it smelled and the walls were damp. You even have to buy toilet paper and hand soap. The park is totally overpriced and understaffed by the staff. No trained staff but mainly schoolchildren / students who were totally overwhelmed with their work. The food there every evening and morning was so monotonous that it was annoying and it didn't taste like anything. Half board booked and drinks you had to pay for yourself. A glass fell down and we were only given a hand broom with a dustpan with an annoyed look! This is called service.
You had to clear away the tables yourself. Drinks orders arrived up to 25 minutes later and then every further order was faulty and you had to hope if someone would come back to the table and ask. Because of all the weeds you can hardly see the bungalows, an absolutely unkempt area. You didn't dare to open the terrace because you were afraid otherwise roommates would come in. The shows were repeated every day ...... Conclusion for us once and NEVER AGAIN CENTERPARK that was the worst, most expensive vacation with the worst service we have ever experienced. I advise everyone against it. A lot of money for nothing ... and I can think of a lot more things but that would go beyond the scope of this ...
I was alone in the pool. It was about 40 degrees in there (it was 32 degrees outside). Physical contact in the water was unavoidable, so busy.
Water was dirty, people instructed their kids to pee in the water, people didn't shower before swimming.
Saw a girl almost drown in the heavy suction of the Whitewater Course. I eventually got her out, lifeguard was not paying attention and gave a big mouth when I said something about it.
I thought twenty euros entrance was an extremely waste of my money.
In all fairness: I went along for my family much rather swim in open natural water!
We stayed in a comfort holiday home. The house was completely filthy, shabby and grubby. This is definitely our last stay here in Het Heijderbos.
Under the couch there is still rubbish from the previous guests, the garden is barely recognizable for all the leaves and broken branches and the bathroom is even moldy and many spiders and insects are at home here, disgusting !!!
No matter what a stay has cost, the apartment should ALWAYS be clean and in good condition!
4 stars as the swimming pool and Jungledom are really great. Staff is very friendly everywhere. The prices in the supermarket are exaggerated, the snack bar with fries is completely overpriced disorganized and not delicious. The pizza restaurant is not cheap but this service and food. The houses are already quite run down and you have to at least premium or VIP book. But with children it's a lot of fun!
Staff came into the house 2x. 1x for the Christmas tree that we indicated at the reception that we do not want it. And 1x to bring cups that were apparently missing. Why isn't this done when we're gone? Leave us alone centerparcs! I like to be private in the house without staff who always come in unsolicited. After all, that's what we're here for. Phew. This really awful!

And of course a Christmas tree is nice. You misunderstand me. The Christmas tree was not yet in the house and would be placed while we were there. But the next day we were supposed to check out and we didn't feel like it. And we had, as written on the form of the Christmas tree, deregistered the Christmas tree at the reception, who had not noted this correctly. So they came just like that. Do not write on the form that you can deregister the tree for delivery if this is not done.
The next day, an employee also dropped in with a bag of cups that were apparently missing. So that it never happens according to you is of course not true.
A small solution has already been provided at the reception. But that does not mean that I am satisfied, there did not seem to be much understanding for the situation there either. In the same case, I was naked in the house because I, for example, came out of the sauna. Then you were criminally liable.
Very nice holiday park, the swimming pool and the activities were perfect for us. We enjoyed also the escape game. Negative point the cottage look's old and we don't use the fireplace because of some constraint.
Great, although you notice that it is "an older" park. Here and there some overdue maintenance, changing rooms that don't close properly, benches in the boxes damaged .. no disaster, but neat ... no.
In the house I also noticed that the mattress really had its best time. Furthermore enjoyed the stay.
House and garden very neglected and the red one asks "Wat is dat" because the chairs were on the roof.
Dirty and old house and way too expensive.
Food and drinks are all too expensive.
