The 2 stars are for the swimming pool and the wide range of facilities. For the rest a big disappointment. In January paid a lot of money for a 4 person 'VIP' house. We were shocked when we saw our house number and thought that this should be the VIP house. Incredibly poorly maintained house. We came in and it seemed as if the cleaning crew had forgotten our house. Outdoor furniture as a 'comfortable' sofa for indoors. Outside full ashtray on the table and not swept for months o.i.d.

Complained on the day of arrival, nothing was done. Only someone who has looked at the blockage in the shower. They indicated at check out and they would do the job. Almost 2 months later and have not heard anything ... Never again.

Nice park in nature. The cottages are due for renewal. Device is reasonably damaged.
There are plenty of activities at the park such as swimming pool, petting zoo, bowling alley and jungle dome. Waiting time at the reception was really too long ...

- to reach everything quickly
- reasonable prices (especially in the local supermarket)
con:
- extremely hard mattresses (could better sleep on the couch)
- House inside pretty gloomy (few spotlights, many trees at the house)

You pay 1700 euros and you get NOTHING included. Only two things are Aqua mundo which is too small for the number of people it houses and the jungle dome that closes wayyyy too early. For everything else you have to pay. In the end you pay over 2500 euros which could be spent in an all-inclusive and much better vacation. Terrible place for what you pay

I definitely do not recommend this park.
This week we stayed at Center Parcs het Heijderbos for two days. This was extremely disappointing!

First of all, I had made the booking online and it was stated several times that the activities are included.
The website has fun activities and especially the swimming pool appealed to me.

Once arrived at the park, it turned out that most of the activities are canceled due to the corona virus, they should state this more clearly.
I had high hopes for the pool, the hot tubs and the snorkeling pool. Once we arrived we were only allowed to swim for 1.5 hours, we were not allowed to use the changing rooms and the lockers.
The whirlpools were closed, for the snorkel pool I had to buy or rent a mask myself. According to the website, the snorkel bath was included, this was partly the case, but without a mask you cannot view anything underwater.
And in addition, almost all other activities are paid.

In the park it is not possible to park the car at the house, but you can bring the suitcases to the house, in the evening parking in the parking lot of the park is impossible. All parking spaces are then full.
Other people in the park did have their car at the house.
My partner and I had to bring some things to the house, we kindly asked the employee if he could open the barrier for us, he refused while 4 other customers who were also present at the park were allowed in for us. The only difference between the other customers and us is that my partner is dark, that strikes me.

I question the profiles that write good reviews for Center Parcs. I notice that these profiles have only written one or two reviews, this is suspicious.

It is misleading that it is pretended that there are many fun activities to do and this turns out to be incorrect afterwards, be clear to the customer. Determine from the website which fun activities there are and clearly indicate that nothing is possible because of the corona virus or because it must be paid.
Afterwards, when I was already in the park and it became clear how limited the activities are, I found out through a review by another ill-informed customer that frequently asked questions state that there are many restrictions.
It seems to have been deliberately hidden away so that customers fall into the trap of deception.
I feel cheated and it was the last time I visited a Center Parcs park.
This is the height of customer unfriendliness!

It's overpriced for what you get. Sauna wasn't working properly, the Aqua Mundo isn't that great and it's unsafe, the rooms were okay, but nothing special for VIP rooms.
Positives: the location, it was quite, nice BBQ and it was cozy. The biggest problem, again, is the price/quality combo.

Houses are very outdated, but these are now being renovated (in phases). Market dome, restaurants etc. well cared for, and also very attractive. The Aquamundo is (in my opinion) the absolute showpiece of this park. Beautifully dressed and perfectly cared for.

Despite the corona time in which everything was closed we still had a wonderful time !! Definitely come back when everything is open again!

Nice holiday park in the middle of nature. It's just a pity that massive renovations are now taking place and we knew nothing about this. This made the holiday home difficult to reach. And we had the idea to live in a construction site. Lots of heavy traffic and noise pollution. Which initially left a negative mark on our holiday.

Still looks exactly the same as 25 years ago ..... except for a lick of paint and some new furniture. The houses are quite dated. 1 toilet for 6 people and you have to shower in a bathtub.
In front of a car-free park I see a lot of cars, although with a note under the wiper with the request to move the car, but a lot of people do not care and leave the car in front of the bungalow all weekend stand. Today (Sunday) just walked through the park with my grandson ...... dangerous! Fortunately there are still plenty of alternatives where the rules are observed, no Center Parcs for me anymore !!

Had a renewed VIP house in the summer holidays 2020. For a week almost 2000 euros .
The chairs in the kitchen were not a nice hard edge for the same with the garden chairs. The kitchen chairs, the backrest is too far back and there is also a hard edge in the back of the chair. I find it disappointing for a new luxury VIP house and certainly for this money. The beds were nice and the sun loungers outside are also lovely. And the service was good. We asked for a hernia board and an exemption for chronic illness and that was well arranged. The weather was also really summer 35 degrees.

This park is big, but has fine bungalows with some privacy. It has a great swimming pool, one of the best I believe. Because the park is large you may need a bike to get around quickly. The wifi and food were expensive. Using public transport to get to the park is not easy and requires a 25 min walk. Overall we had a pleasant stay, a very nice park

Swimming pool OK with the whitewater course really great, otherwise everything was quite expensive and we would not have gone without a discount. In summer and when the weather is good, the outdoor activities are certainly nicer because we were unlucky but it's not the park's fault ;-). Conclusion it needs a lot of renovation.

2 nights Heijderbos in premium cottages (Friday arrival Sunday morning away) over 600 paid for a tatty worn out house. Centerparcs how dare you rent this out. Holes in curtains covered with tape. Dirty carpet with stains and cobwebs. You cannot and may not rent this for this money. Know that you are going to renovate what you really have to do. We were there 15 years ago at that time nothing has been done about the cottages. But until the renovation, rent the houses for half the money with the note that half the money is due for the house to be renovated. We feel cheated. Never again for us center centers. Heavily disappointed

Even with the covid-19 rules, CenterParcs remains a good place for a holiday. You do not notice much of it outside the signage and that you have to book for all activities, including the Aqua Mundo. This is conveniently done via the app. We only found the 'all you can eat' a lot less choice than usual. It is fine with not everyone who is rummaging in the boxes, but the choice, especially for slightly smaller children, is very limited.
This time we had a premium children's house. The layout and children's room are nice but really a step back from a VIP house. We also expected that there would be more toys, crafts and other children's stuff, but that was really very little and certainly not applicable for a boy of 5.
Furthermore, the park is neat and just what you expect from CenterParcs.
Our son is already asking if we will go again next time.

We spent a week in a renovated 4 person cottage for which we paid 1600 euros. Too expensive but there was little choice. Arrival with car in the park chaotic. Many (parked) cars and oncoming vehicles on narrow paths, everyone got stuck together. Once in the cottage, there was no cot and highchair available. So we could immediately contact the reception. After a while it was brought but the baby seat had no safety straps so daughter climbed out of the seat. Again may ask for another chair, which also had no straps, these were brought. 1 sheet package had a fitted sheet covered with blood / coffee (?) Stains. So again reception can ask for another, clean one. Cottage looked nice inside but expected more luxury at this price. Inventory very basic, not even a tablespoon. 2 pans to bake, one of which is written off and very sticky. Dishwasher was not mentioned in the description, so I had bought detergent and a washing-up brush for nothing and no dishwasher cubes. The mattresses are hard foam blocks, barely slept all week. The floor was not mopped, gave off black when our daughter crawled. The garden was dotted with butts and some shards of glass. The houses and buildings can use a paint job on the outside, peeling paintwork everywhere. I also expected more fun and entertainment for children, this was really minimal. You have to pay for everything, such as jumping the trampoline and if there is anything to do at the Kids Club. Italian restaurant is mediocre, had no tasty pizza and pasta. Delicious eaten at Fuego, the schnitzel is delicious, highly recommended. The mixed grill very minimal for the money. All in all a fairly nice park, but no for this money.

The houses were fairly clean, with some spiders / cobwebs in the closet. And that there were some dated chairs outside where you collapsed. Fortunately, that was well resolved by the crew to bring new chairs and new tables within 1 day. And what a pity that you can only swim 2x in 1 midweek so 2x 1.5 hours that was really a disappointment for everyone. But in the end it turned out to be a nice holiday because of the activities that you can still do normally in the park.

The swimming pool is very nice, the standard houses have come a bit over the years. Everything looks more beautiful on the internet than in reality. You can definitely go for the money, better vacation.

We have been a Center Parcs customer for many years and have already visited several parks. After Het Heijderbos we won't come back anytime soon. The bungalows are getting very old. A very musty, musty smell came up as soon as you entered. Furnishing very shabby, worn mattresses, stains in the bathtub & sink that can no longer be removed, carpeting in the sleeping area dirty & stained, cobwebs etc. You just don't feel comfortable. The swimming pool is OK, could use some renovation in some places. Breakfast in the buffet restaurant OK, but not really comfortable and certainly not 14 euros per person. Person worth. We were lucky that the weather was great for our entire stay and that we could do a lot outside and in the area, otherwise we would not have been able to last 5 days.

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend the park if you fly or rather go somewhere else where you can get something for your money.

On arrival there were dog hairs on the floor and long human hair in the bathroom and in the rest of the house. The park is still satisfying on the whole. The buildings make a very exhausted impression. Conclusion: not recommended.

Ridiculous dealing with people! I had bought a voucher that I booked over the Christmas holidays. Unfortunately due to the lockdown I had to reschedule. Now I wanted to move it further because the lockdown is still going on. If you buy a voucher that is valid until the end of March, you expect that you can also rebook until then. Well not here! Even moving to a cottage was only possible, with an additional payment of hundreds of euros, while this was also a possibility in the voucher! Center Parcs shows no understanding of the situation. The customer service representatives also treat you like a number, with a rehearsed tune when you say this is very annoying: "yes ... can I help you with something else" without any empathy. They do not contribute to a solution. In the future, I don't know if I will ever book anything here again.

I usually like to be here and the park usually earns four stars. The last evening we were eating at Evergreenz. The price has risen from around 25 to around 33. It is good that the drinks are now included. The bad thing is that the food on offer is not even close to the price. When I offer a buffet, there shouldn't be only 6 bowls. There was a choice of fries, couscous, rice, meat and cauliflower. You could choose between 2 soups. You could probably pull ice. Here, too, you had to reserve a table online beforehand. You are used to much more choice from Evergreenz. For the price, I will not go on holiday in the Center Parc. Oh yes, from the announced voucher because you could not use everything, you saw and heard nothing more. All in all, a shame. This is our first time at Center Parc. The park itself for children and the additional offer too. You just have to know that there are extra costs if the children want to do certain activities. Had a VIP house with 3 adults and 2 children. Somewhat larger and more modern furnishings would have been nice. The bathrooms are both new, the only really great. The advertised box spring beds, well, if they really are, I doubt it anyway.
Overall, I find the rental rates a little too high.

We were here on our final trip in 2018, and it was just awesome! 1000 activity possibilities, the swimming pool with white water slide and the highlight: the buffet We were very satisfied!

Nice park enough to do nice and cozy restaurants. Nice pool where there is plenty to do. Unfortunately, many cars that drive at the park while it is said that the car is free.
